My manicure is bubbled up and peeling. Done yesterday 9/24 and Im having to remove it. I think it was an issue with the yellow polish that was used. Its wet under the top layer for some reason on both hands but the blue is fine. The pedicure colors were complimented and are not at issue. Our nail techs were nice. My sister was happy with her mani overall. My basic pedi was fine and the paint job was great. I expected more for my sisters pedi which was a much better package than mine. It was an overall lack of wow factor. Its apparently the new model for nail salons as the W bar is much the same in my experience. I was hoping for a step up. Being booked that tightly is fine but you set the prices I dont. If having a small buffer of time cost extra I would have paid that so that my tech was less rushed. 10-15 mins late could have resulted in bare bones cuticle push & scheduled paint job but that wasnt offered. Came down from level 2 nail art to zero for a 15 min reduction which makes me think there wasnt really time for lvl 2 anyway even if wed been on time. I am a nail art aficionado and putting a dot or two on one nail takes seconds but I was told I could get no nail art not very pared down. I dont blame the individual techs for this. I know thats a policy/ business decision. FYI you could have settled for those 2 stars...I didnt make any comment and I didnt request any money off my $300+ total. You keep that. Im just providing my opinion of the overall services vs expectations for future patrons.

This place is amazing! The environment is very welcoming and relaxed and they do an amazing job! Pricing is also very reasonable for how great of a job they do. So happy I found my new go-to nail spot!

I had an appointment 12 days ago with Maggie who was absolutely lovely and clearly knowledgeable. I am absolutely destructive to any manicure and this one has lasted me the longest of any Ive had. It was a gel manicure with one fake gel extension and surprisingly the extension has not come off yet. Only one nail has chipped prior to now and it was the one with nail polish that wouldnt set during the appointment and a very minor chip. The nail polish started pulling up from the bottom on day ten, and just today did it start fully chipping off. Absolutely stellar job, will definitely be back.

I had such a great experience here! I went to Ashten for my nails and she did such an amazing job. She was really fun to talk to and my nails lasted for such a long time without chipping. I am very happy with the service and love atmosphere there. I am definitely going to continue to go there! Highly recommend!!

The space in Lacquer is so well styled and fashionable! The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. I loved that they had a book of colors I could look at instead of having to look at a wall with unorganized nail polishes like other salons. They offered water, which was nice to have while getting the pedicure. Overall, a great experience and will be going back!

Danielle has been fantastic! I’ve been consistently visiting her for months and and always happy and impressed with her work and professionalism. Already have all my appointments booked through the rest of the year!

A beautiful and safe atmosphere where I have loved getting my hair done by Arianne. She has helped me find the styles that best fit me.Shes gone out of her way to make sure that every step of my hair life is as easy as it can be. From teaching me how to style my hair at home to get the same look as what she does, to booking appointments quickly and easily.The only thing I dont like is that they have used starbursts as decorations and I always leave my hair cut craving the candy!!!

Lacquer was absolutely amazing. I brought in a picture of a detailed french manicure and they recreated it PERFECTLY and so fast! Part of it chipped off 6 days later and they repaired it for free! Will definitely be going back.

I had a gel manicure done by the lovely Danielle. She went out of her way to make sure I was pleased with the color choice by swatching quite a few shades for me to pick from. The space itself is beautifully decorated and feels quite cozy yet luxurious. I will definitely be back again!

The original technician I was booked with had to rearrange her schedule and the receptionist was on top of adjusting the schedule so I could still have an an appointment roughly at the same time with another person. This is the only place Im coming to get my nails done from now on! My line of work is demanding between a zoo and a wood shop I usually chip my nails or polish never last long. Im on week two of having these nails and they look like I just got them done today. Everyone is so friendly and the booking process is easy. The only real thing to complain about is parking is a pain, but its downtown so thats normal just be aware you have to do some far away parking and walking. Other than that place is amazing and cozy and friendly!

I got a gel manicure with Makayla and LOVED it. She is very talented and I loved my clean manicure. I also love the decorations and vibe at Lacquer. Although you can find a cheaper gel manicure at other places, it is definitely worth it to go here!

Julie did an AMAZING job with my pedicure. I specifically looked for pedicure reviews at Lacquer Gallery and I saw Julies name come up several times at this location. She was prompt and asked all the right questions to make me feel comfortable when starting my service. I was interested in trying a new color, so Julie tested it out on one nail, and was kind enough to switch it out for something I liked better. Originally, I had booked an extreme callus removal service. Julie explained the service to me so I actually knew what it was, and informed me that it was not in my best interest. After educating me and doing whats best for me, Julie has gained a life-long client! Also, she did an outstanding job... From gel polish removal to the end result. I already booked my next appointment and am a very happy customer. Id never had a pedicure that I hadnt had to fix when I got home- Until now. Thank you Julie!!

First let me say that I am an introvert, and I dont go to any spa to talk, I go to relax. So a friend referred me to the Lacquer gallery. I must say it was the best experience I have had thus far, Molly was my tech, she was on time, I mean ON TIME, very professional, minimal conversation, she focused on my nails perfectly and asked me thru out the process if I was pleased with each step. Listen when I tell you, she was so gentle wirh my hands that I kinda forgot my nails were getting done. With that being said she has a LOYAL customer.

Lacquer Gallery is absolutely amazing. I was never the type of person who had a “go-to” salon until I started coming here! The service is absolutely top notch in every service I have received. In over 20 manicures I’ve only had one chip and they repaired it for me since it was within the week. The vibes/aesthetic are worth it alone but the nail techs are so talented and fun. ALSO they’re doing an impeccable job with COVID-19 procedures - you’ll wash your hands on entering, everyone is properly wearing a mask, plexiglass between you and your tech. Overall I recommend Lacquer to anyone, even if you don’t usually treat yourself!

Oh gosh, I could go on an on about this place! Just absolutely amazing. I used their at home event services for my wedding on NYE and they were just amazing. Hannah was our main point of contact and she was so organized, very communicative and just so accommodating. We had 2 hair stylist and 3 makeup artist and all were very talented (for 13ish girls). After almost a year of not being glammed up, all of us girls felt like a million dollars after they were done with us. Future Brides, please please please use them. You will not be disappointed. They made my life easy and were just the best!!!

My friend and I booked nail appointments 2 weeks in advance for her birthday. On the day of the appointment my friend received a text that her manicurist had a family emergency and that her appointment would need to be rescheduled. They offered us another slot earlier the same day, but when my friend texted to confirm that was ok, she was informed the slot had been filled by someone scheduling online. I feel the professional response would have been to reach out to the last-minute booker and tell them the spot had been promised already, but instead we were told the situation was “beyond their control,” and that no other appointments were available. During this whole ordeal, I was never contacted directly about my separate booking, which was also affected. Thankfully we were able to get same-day appointments at another business. I was very turned off by this staff encounter and will not be scheduling with them again.Edit: now the business is lying in review responses. Family emergencies (including deaths) cannot be avoided, but their handling of the situation was very unprofessional. Their response to this review makes me very glad I did not spend my money there. There were 17 minutes between their text and my friend’s response. A phone call from the business would have been the most professional way for them to have resolved this issue, and would have prevented delay. We were never offered discounts, and in fact I still have not personally been in touch with the business. I left a voicemail and my call was not returned (see my call screenshot, which was certainly not long enough to be offered “multiple discounts”). My friend was offered to reschedule at another date (via text, still no phone contact), but never offered a discount.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Hands down the best experience Ive had - my hair looks amazing and I had such a wonderful experience! The staff is very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. My stylist, Arianne Garnica, did color correction on some splotchy balayage from a recent bad experience with another salon (high end prices, low quality service at the other salon) and I am stunned with how great it looks! The color is now so soft and natural looking - really well blended - no more splotches - just absolutely stunning hair. Its only been an hour since Ive left the salon and 3 people have stopped me to compliment my hair - it looks that good!The atmosphere of the salon is very cool and unique - great art on the walls and amazing decor! (Id love to steal some of the ideas!) Everything was really clean and maintained - no dirt or hair anywhere - and it smells like Bath & Body Works heaven in there! Youd never know it was a salon if you did the Fabreze challenge and went in blindfolded & took a big breath in. Theres even a really cool Elvis thing - I just love it there! Was looking for a new hair stylist and made an appointment with Zoey based on her reviews. So glad I did! She did a wonderful job with my cut. It looked cute when blown out straight at the salon, and it also brought out my natural curl. The color is spot-on too, Ive gotten so many compliments! And if that wasnt enough the salon space is gorgeous. Will absolutely be returning :)

My manicurist was rough! I had to ask her to go easier and she was still rough. It hurt!! She didn’t try to stimulate conversation and I felt rushed! My nails were tacky when I left so I went back in and she redid the top coat and they were still tacky. The went back in again and another person redid them and they were great! I have been coming here for over a year and have usually had good experiences!!

I really wanted to like this place, but just cant. Although the decor is beautiful and the atmosphere feels very welcoming, its just not worth the price markup. As someone who has gotten their nails done monthly for over a decade, I am very disappointed by the services I received. I got a gel manicure 3 DAYS ago and the gel is already peeling off. This is the FIRST time this has ever happened to me. Moreover, this was the first manicure where my hands were not soaked. Bc my hands were never soaked, you can see all the cuticles. I might as well have just gotten gel polish instead of a mani. Save your money and go somewhere else.

If you are even thinking about going here... please just go! This place is hands down incredible! They’re even incredible during a QUARANTINE! The level of cleanliness and safety I felt going here was truly the best customer service. I mean that has to say something. We all know we haven’t been spending a lot of money during quarantine so now get out there and go spend it here! Gold Room Tattoo (also owned by the same person) is also amazing- and that’s where I go to get my eyebrows done! Highly recommend going to Nicole but all of the staff is amazing.

They made me feel welcomed and comfortable in a place Ive always felt like an inconvenience to the techs. I throughly enjoyed both of my appointments.

Shireen always manages to capture exactly what I’m looking for with my nails. Whether it’s something bright, bold and creative or neutral, understated and simple. She’s exceeded my expectations on all of my nail design requests (marble, eyes, ombré, adding jewels or gold flakes, stars, moons, clouds. Really you name it and she can make it come to life).I honestly cannot see myself going anywhere else.

Support your local girl gang and go to Lacquer Gallery. Everyone there is super nice and welcoming. They offer free snacks and beverages and they do amazing work. The also have a great setting if you want to get your nails done with friends as they are set up so you can sit next to each other and not feel weird yelling across the salon.

Ive been to the Lacquer Gallery quite a few times now, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about it to everyone I know. The environment is fun and uplifting. The staff are funny, kind, and very quick. The prices are perfect. And my stylist Zoey Beale has always given me exactly what I needed. Really nice salon. The one on one experience was great. The same person does the pedicure and manicure and it was a great way to get to know the person and get some tips on how to prolong the manicure. The girl that did my nails told me that SPF in sunblock and face creams shorten the life of the gel manicures. Great thing to know!

Lisa went hard for this salon and it shows! I always recommend Lacquer to people because it’s a full spectrum salon. They are super easy to book with; you can either use the app, call or text them(how awesome is that!?). Every single person that works there is AMAZING.

The interior of this business is so perfect and funky. A very positive girl power vibe. They offer many services and all the stations are placed so perfectly throughout the store. Ive been seeing Maricela for a few months for my acrylics. She is by far the most talented tech Ive seen. Im obsessive over my nails and she is a perfectionist so they always look amazing. She is really talented at designs as well. I can go 3-4 weeks without chipping, lifting, or losing a rhinestone. She is also great at threading eyebrows! Overall, the staff is always friendly and it is one of the cleanest (and cutest) salons around.
