This place is awful the older lady is very rude and its dirty and everytime I go they try and up my price plus I now have fungus on my nails nasty and unprofessional

🚫🚫🚫🚫03/19/19 I am now editing my review only one week after getting our nails done here. My colored acrylic chipped within a matter of hours it felt like. Than 3 days in my nails starting breaking off where she had put the separate colors of acrylic on. I got gel polish and something else to protect the polish she said, but both my friend and I both had go to another salon, for a full removal & new full set. I was impressed with her free hand but the more I looked I noticed 4 of my nails were put on crooked & none of them were completely painted. You actually can see both in the picture Ive posted. The thing that really blew my mind I have an office job... And a nail broke completely in half while I was typing. 😂😂😂 Everything was good when we first got there, we were the first. But the minute other people started coming in.. The rush job began. I wouldnt waste your time or money. And that place is SOOOOOO COLD.ORIGINAL POST: We drove an hour to try this place out, and it was worth every minute. Very reasonably priced & the atmosphere was really laid back. We will definitely be back. Will update if anything changes but as of now the quality is amazing. 💕

Terrible place. Everything from the outside to the inside is dirty looking. Customer service here is non-existent, theyll work on people that came in after you first and when you ask them how long youre supposed to soak your nails for they talk sh*t about you in Vietnamese. LOL jokes on them Im viet and I can understand everything. If you want fungus come here. Most ghetto nail place Ive ever been to, truly disgusted.

Would not recommend. The guy cut my finger deep and then said Ill be ok. Then charged $50 for a basic full set. Nails are uneven and not at all what I wanted. Very much unprofessional and rude.

I waited over one hour for service ( soak off nails) a service I which they dont provide. A nail salon..I guess..Poor service the older lady attitude.

Everytime Im greeted and treated politely, great prices. Small space that works at a excellent pace. The variety of styles and beauty things to do is great. You can get your eyebrows done here as well.

There were two people in the walk up line there were six cars in the drive thru the six cars got served before the two people did it took them that long the ice cream was good though but they served the drive-thru quicker than they served the people standing in line that doesnt make sense

Update come back nov 20 it’s dec 5th and 5 nails are already off . I work from home on computer I don’t do much on my hands 😭 they didn’t even last 2 weeks . Taking my money elsewhereGot them done Saturday morning it’s now Monday 2:41am and this happening as you can see it’s starting to bleed .. older lady they call mom she clips my nail all the way down until it’s no nail left and said this will help grow right from my point of view my actual nail was already fine! Omg it feels like a loose tooth I’m scared to pull it off and the lady doesn’t even shape my nails right 🙄🙄 coffin shape looks like i did them myself shouldn’t have to pay more for you to shape them right like geesh

This place is always packed. Gossip is crazy, but so worth it!! Mom is great. 🙃

I been going hear since I was 17 I am now 40Mrs.Kim A.K.A mom is a great person as well as her children char and ChrisMom also is a nurturing woman she is mom im always welcome with open arms we laugh she makes you think about life and morals building and hard work its not just a SHOP its family

Great atmosphere beautiful colors and designs

Poor service, the owner was out of town and others were running the shop. People were sitting everywhere in shop sitting & eating at nail tables, no order to which client was next. Techs were slow, talking more than doing nails. Foul language from customers & nail techs. There was only 2 nail techs there. I waited over 4 hours just to have someone cut in front of me. After that, I just left. I will not have my nails done here again. Poor management & cutomer service with a poor class of clientele.

Very pleased with my nails. I did have to wait a bit but worth it. I dont feel like I was cheated out of my money like other places Ive been. They were friendly and knowledgeable techs.I was actually having a horrible day but they still had me laughing.Thanks😊

I was in Columbus for training and needed my nails done, it was a 911 situation. I googled, and called and went there. The Mom and Daughter are amazing, but the guy did my nails and it was a Terrible Experience! He did a very sloppy job on my nails, so much so I had to return the next day, only to be disappointed and dissatisfied again. I will have to go to my nail tech in my hometown to get it fixed. Unfortunately due to the extra cash that I will have to spend to fix my nails, after giving them the opportunity to keep my business the next time I’m in Columbus, I will not ever return to Design Nails! I wish the Mom or the Daughter would have stepped in. They get 3 stars from me because I liked them and their hospitality

I never give 5 stars.. and if I had to say anything was wrong, it would just be how small it is. But the customer service was good, i think they did a good job. I would def send my childs mother again.

They do good work if you actually get to a chair. Crowded which is fine but not when you have been waiting over an hour and then the techs friend walks in and skips everybody else waiting. Twice before that I went around 6pm and their doors were locked even though there were ppl inside and they were supposed to be open. Rough looking outside and inside.

I would definitely say that I have been going to this nail salon since I was 16 and not one time have I left there unhappy. I am always satisfied with the look of my nails,feet,and eyebrows. Although its not the most organized place compared to other nail salons, the people working there are definitely worth a five-star and I really thank the ladies for such a great job and service. 💅🏽😊😍

Good talent....Denise does very neat work. The place needs to be cleaned. I appreciate how fast they are but I dont mind waiting for a minute while they clean the stations.

Went early and was serviced quickly. The quality wasn’t good and was rushed. My nail just broke after 2 days of having them done. I’m so disappointed because I had heard good things maybe I just got the wrong tech. But I won’t be going back.

Nancy is the best. Before Sept last year I hadnt had my nails done in like 12 years. She did them the first time in sept and have been back regularly since. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere! Def worth checking them out. Im always getting compliments on my nails!!

The place was filthy, nail dust and cobwebs everyplace. The glass surfaces were greasy, Im not sure why they have not failed a health inspection. I didnt stay to get my nails done, I was fearful of contracting an infection. I would NEVER recommend this place.

This place opens at 10am. But nobody got there until 12:45pm. There was a customer complaining that she waited since 10 this morning. When Selena the lady that works there, finally finished her up. And she left. Selena talked and talked about how this lady was getting on her nerves to other customers. I found this in very poor taste. I even mentioned it. I returned to this place June 13 2020. Got a pedicure. The next day, I seen dead skin on my toes. black woman did my pedicure.

This was my first time at the shop I got my lashes put on and my nails done. Service was fast I came n at 715 ish but its even been a week and my lashes are falling off and when I called Monday for shar to fix them she wasnt there and I got hung up on and now today Thursday I have been calling for the last two hours and its still ringing busy...

Although the shop isnt a 5 star look the mother and daughter who work there do an amazing job. I cant say so much for the men.

I walked in I signed in sat down waited for about 20 minutes only one lady was working when she got done doing the person that she was doing she asked me if I wanted to get my nails done I said no she swiftly moved on to the next person and said you like to get your nails done I said hold on did you just buy past me like that I do not want to get my nails done I would like to get a pedicure she said me not do no pedicure I break my hip I mean my back worst service ever

Ratchet. I went for a polish change only. The lady didn’t even take all of the old polish off of my nail. Never again!

Filthy shop, they do a horrible job on eyebrows ( you will probably break out around your eyebrows from the old wax & unclean tools), your nails will chip, lift and break. They rush through work because their shop is built like a garage & can only hold so many clients. There’s not enough nail techs so the wait time can be long. I use to come in and you’ll never see them clean the tools at all, just hop client to client. You get what you pay for, so don’t be upset after the many reviews warned you. I stopped going after 2 of my nails broke off ( had them on less then a week ) and they messed up my eyebrows.
