This is a reliable and affable repair shop. Miguel, (Im assuming Senior Mechanic) was who I dealt with; I know little about car engines and trust few to no one when it comes to mine, but he was very knowledgeable and informative. Most appealing, He was very upbeat! This was the third opinion that I had for my engine work and my final choice for repairs. Their accuracy and effectiveness won me over. I recommend this shop to all of my co-workers and anyone looking for affordable and dependable service. I truly hate trying to find reliable mechanics, it can be so draining; but after speaking to a few others who have had work done with them before, I felt confident in my decision. So far so good, I had a Dealer shop confirm that the correct measures were taken and they agreed and were impressed with the work. So this shop will always be my first choice! Thanks again guys, You totally rock and now I am a happy and confident driver again!!!!!

Great customer service and took good care of my situation promptly.

My car was overheating, so I took it to Firestone. Twice. They could not figure out what was wrong with it even after running a series of diagnostic tests. They asked me to come back the next day when someone with more experience was there. So I did and they still couldnt figure it out.I took my car to NY Auto Repair and towing and popped the hood, the mechanic there took less than a minute to figure out what was wrong with it. It was the thermostat.They ordered the part and had my car fixed in two hours! Great price too. Theyre very knowledgeable and quick! Now any time I have a car problem I come here.

Its cheap fixing place if you have your own parts, but be careful when dealing with them, they give you one price when you ask them to evaluate the price and may tell you different price once you come there with your parts to have your car fixed. But the service they do, seems OK, my breaks and window motor working fine. But, there is another thing, be careful when you receive your car, check if everything is alright, because they broke my cars outer door handle when they replaced the window motor, but the mechanic did not admit he did it, I was shocked. I told them it was not like that when they took the car from me, he refused and called me a liar, but he changed when I started calling police. In the end, he agreed to place the handle free of charge but asked me to buy the handle, he refused to buy it himself. Well, its cheap part, it cost me $10 on amazon but, it was their fault and the mechanic had to buy it actually. I ordered from amazon and brought back to the mechanic on Sunday, and he replaced it for free. Overall, I was not happy to have my car fixed in this place, there are thousands other places do the same job for that money without extra burden of buying door handle and spending two hours in Sunday in their shop. By the way, they also refuse to give you receipt for your payment, I am not sure if its legal.

Very very friendly and job was done very quickly. However, something happened because the key thing that you stick the key in to start the car fell out and now I have to hotwire it to start it every single time. And ive gotten shocked by it and it hurts.

It was super fast so quick they wanted to charge me a storage fee if I didnt pick up the day of repair warning dont go here 😡 I paid $420 for a oil change and new alternator and drove car home to Marysville and the car cut off in the middle of traffick they dont have a towtruck that works ! Go figure anyways they told me to tow car to there shop which would have cost me $250 and they will try to see whats wrong just so they can try to charge you more nobody at that shop has any mechanical certificates and there is no warranty on the labor just the part my cars engine went bad after they said it was alternator long story short dont you or anyone you know go there its a shady buisness fly by night and its in the hood they are not responsible for your car after or during hours lol

My roommate told me about this place and how good of a guy Miguel and his staff are. These guys do great work for a great price! I would definitely go here if you need anything done.

I have taken my car, and several cars for my friends and family to this shop since 2007. The staff is friendly helpful and respectful. They are honest and affordable!

Although I didnt actually use NY Auto Repair & Towing, due to some broken lifts at their shop at the time, they offered GREAT advice over the phone. They were able to help me in my situation and I saved a lot of money because of it. I recommend them to anyone and I will definitely be taking my car here in future situations!

Scheming mechanic shop. The lady that works in the office is VERY RUDE!!!! They quoted me a ridiculous price. More than likely because I’m a female so maybe it would’ve have been better if I went with a male.

I purchased a SUV cash and about a month after my purchase the fuel pump went out. Knowing that I had paid cash for the vehicle I was not to upset, until I got the price quote for repair from a national chain repair shop. Not wanting to pay almost as much for the repair as I did the SUV I started calling my family to get ideas. My brother told me about NY Auto Repair and how they fixed his wifes fuel pump for a fraction of the cost the national chain was quoting me. I called and talked to NY and they told me what part to buy and everything that I would need to get my vehicle up and running again. Once I ordered the part and took it to the shop my vehicle was repaired in a few hours! NY Auto Repair has wonderful customer service and they saved me almost $700.

Not really professional, but they are very efficient. I think thats the most important especially I really need they come soon in winter time.

First time using this establishment and I never got the chance to. I was told to drop my vehicle off Sunday and they will work on it Monday and have it back to me the same day Monday. I called looking for the establishment and was called a liar in so many words. He told me that no one gear told you to drop your vehicle off on Sunday 11am. I wasn’t given any time I was just told by an female to drop it off on Sunday. I was told to bring it back another day. He told me he had no more room to drop off the vehicle. As I’m writing this review he’s taking customers vehicles that’s arriving after us. I was upset at being called an liar in so many words, and the an vehicles being accepted afterwards. I just shook his hand and said Thank You for the service. We will not be using your services and left.

They take great care of your car

I have known Miguel since last 8 years and he has never let me down. I have trusted him with all my cars. On my recent visit he diagnosed the noise from the engine was from the AC Compressor and he fixed it for $450. The dealer had quoted me around $1500.

They currently dont even have a towing truck because its broke down?

As soon as I said truck, they would not do anything, even though it is a small pickup truck. There are larger cars riding much lower than my vehicle.After reading the other reviews, I would give it a -5. Van runs great now got my cv axle replaced no problem.

Not happy with the service. They change my Original Honda rotors even it was not needed at all. With in 6 months after the complete brake service, rotors and brake pads become loose and I need to go some where else to replace again. will never go again.

I chose to call NY because they are very close to my house. When I found them online there were very large letters across the website stating 24 HOUR TOWING. Very large red letters. I called NY and was told the driver went home for the day and to try callong someone else.
