Best service I have ever had! I always get a thorough inspection of my vehicles front to back, and top to bottom. Paul and Scott always take the time to explain what the issue is, so I can understand whats happening with my vehicle. They are friendly, responsive, fairly priced and honest. I never wonder if I am being taken advantage of or up-selled. Theres no issue they cant handle. They can do it all! I will never take my vehicles anywhere else!

Eldon’s performed a custom alignment for me and was able to get it spot on and did a good job. My only opportunity for them is to remember that Tesla’s record the energy use when they are driven. Looks like my technician experienced the power a couple of times!

I appreciate the in-depth inspection reports, with photos, that Eldons provides. It’s such a help in determining how to proceed with repairs. In my opinion this is hands down one of the best shops in town. They are very professional and thorough. Not a good experience with the front desk person.First time I visited, took an entire day to change 2 brand new tires, and still had not completed the wheel alignment portion that I had asked for.Also, they are not okay with customer supplied parts anymore. Changed policy sometime in the last 1.5 years apparently. Not sure what to do with the 2 new tires and 4 sets of brake pads that I already purchased. Supplier wont take those back now.This place is only good for routine stuff i guess, not if you are interested in getting special/particular parts installed onto your vehicle. Unfortunately, in a place like columbus, the other places are probably even worse if you own a European car and like to get even basic modifications done on it.

I must say they’re very thorough with their diagnostic check. But feeling a bit taken advantage of due to the fact I know nothing about cars. So what I originally took the car in for was a few simple repairs but the diagnosis came back a few pages long. I told them I only had $K to spend so they fixed a bunch of things that wasn’t even what I originally took the car in for so after spending $XXXX I STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUES! I am disappointed that they charged so much and my parts were minimum compared to the labor bill was ridiculously high.

I’ve been using Eldon’s for years and as always the service is top notch. The diagnosis was quick and when they couldn’t complete the repair before the weekend due to part availability, they provided me with a loaner. The repair was quick once the part arrived and I’m happy with the results. I like their process of sharing every step of your vehicles diagnostic and repair process online. I used to do a lot of my own work on my vehicles so there aren’t many places that I trust to work on my cars. I trust Eldon’s!

We have loved Eldons quality and service however our past couple of times we have gone in I have been very disappointed in the results.Not sure what has happened to their service. Maybe because of popularity they are unable to accommodate the extra work?Our last couple of visits there have been problems. They have always addressed the issue, but when I am paying double for a service I expect it to be done right.In the past I considered Eldons to be well worth the extra I paid, now I question if I should look at other places.

Not the cheapest in town, but the quality of service is second to none. They provide a multi-page report of your issue(s) with color photos. Dropped me off back at home when I didnt have a ride available. Fast turn-around.

I was having a weird clunking noise in the rear suspension of my 2003 Honda Pilot. Scheduled with Eldons to take a look on Thursday. They did the diagnosis of the issue and it turned out that both rear stabilizer links and one tie rod were damaged/broken. I got my car back on Friday afternoon and they even went the extra mile to give me a completely contactless experience. Very satisfied with the repairs/replacements and my 2003 Honda Pilot almost drives like new now! Thanks Eldons and a special thanks to Sabrina.

The service was great. Really appreciate their pictures of all the recommended repairs needed to get done. Although they did say my engine oil dipstick was missing but I did find it laid across the engine. But all in all would definitely reccomend their business to others. The service on my vehicle was great. I was offered a loaner vehicle though just in case my vehicle wasn’t finished by the end of the day. I wasn’t told there would be a charge for this. My repair was over $1500 which I don’t have complaints for, but I drove the loaner vehicle to work, less than a mile from the shop and came to pick my car up which was done early. $47.34!I wouldn’t of took the loaner if I would of known there was a charge.

These folks were prompt, professional and incredibly helpful.The emails, videos and pictures they sent when examining my car gave me a clear explanation of my situation that left little room for misunderstanding on the issues at hand and their reasoning for the need for repairs were clear and concise enough for the everyday layman.When they were unable to finish my vehicle on the exact day, without even asking, they immediately gave me a vehicle to use for 24 hours, no charge, no question !When it came to cost (cause my job was expensive) they went out of their way to find the best affordable parts to make sure I was able to take care of my many problems and simultaneously take care of my wallet.When I brought my kids in to check on the vehicle, the lovely ladies in the office gave them each a grab bag of neat little things that they absolutely love and that little touch there, really blew my mind.I will be bringing them my vehicle from now on and my family were impressed with them that they will be bringing their vehicles to them as well...and lets be real, if you can impress an 80 something year old man from Jersey to change his car care routine...well, it means youve done some phenomenal work !

Eldons diagnosed the transmission and transfer case failure on our Mazda CX9 which both needed replaced along with the right front wheel locking up could have caused the damage. They did an awesome job doing all the repairs and keeping us informed during the time they worked on the car. I would recommend Eldons to anyone plus I plan on doing future repairs with them.

They are pricey. But they find whats wrong and fix it. End of story. If you want your car fixed right the first time these are your guys.

I have been dealing with issues from various shops for the last 10 years. This company is by far the best. Scott and Andy get all the information up front and find the problem quickly and very professionally. I felt like a member of the family after taking my vehicle here. They will have my business with any vehicle issues. A shop to me is not something you want to go to because you know your going to have to spend some money but this money is well spent and I know the problem is fixed. We were backpacking nearby when our check engine light came on and the transmission in our 2016 Expedition wouldnt shift correctly. We dropped the car off at Eldons on a Sunday afternoon after reading Google reviews. Monday we received great communication about the diagnostic process. Tuesday morning I received emails, texts and a call from Paul to talk about what repair was needed. He was honest and very helpful. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me or add anything on. (Which has happened with other mechanics in the past..) He quoted a fair price, a repair and told me the car would be ready the next day. Today I received my call that the car is done and he arranged it so we could pick up after-hours since we live an hour away. Overall, the best auto mechanic experience Ive had. Thank you for making this situation so straight forward!

Took my prius 2013 due to missfiring, and my truck 2004 dakota for a check engine light. The problems were diagnosed super fast, the guys are super honest and will not work on your car unless you authorize them. They also have a shuttle service, theyll take you home if you need a ride after dropping your car. Their inspection reports are awesome they send them via tex

I took my vehicle into Eldons Automotive due to some misfire issues. They ran diagnostics on the misfire and also completed a multi-point inspection on the vehicle. They called me in a timely manner and gave me very clear information on what they found and what was required to resolve the issues. They also walked me through each item of concern they found on the multi-point inspection, but I never felt like I was being pressured to pay for additional services that werent completely necessary.They estimated that my vehicle would be completed by Monday afternoon of the following week and would cost about $800. However, the technician working on my vehicle went above and beyond and completed the repairs earlier than expected. They called me first thing Monday morning to inform me my car was ready for pick-up. On top of that, the total cost came to about $30 less than the initial estimate.My experience here was better than Ive had anywhere else. I will certainly be coming back here for ALL my vehicle repairs.

We had some major problems with our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee in early March 2020. Our son highly recommended Eldons. Its about an hour away from our home but we trusted our son! We are so glad we did. Turns out the vehicle needed MAJOR repair (new engine) the staff here was professional, kept in touch with us & did the repairs in a timely way. When we dropped it off initially, a mechanic was called to take a ride with us in it, so he could experience what was going on. We have had it back for 2 months, its running better than ever & we are thankful for the good folks at Eldons!

They are very courteous, professional. They usually provide me with a courtesy vehicle if it will take more than a day. They also will pick me up and home.

Battery replacement took 3 days. Even with the new battery the car goes dead every 2 days and this place does not know how to fix it. They did not even replace the casing on the electrical wiring after repeated reminders. I am now taking the car to the MB dealership in Indy. Would not recommend this place for anything.

Not professional. First, not able to write down my appointment and when i visited told me i dont have an appointment. They took two days to run an inspection and never called and told me there will be delays. there was a nail in my tire after their inspection. When i picked my car after inspection there was oil/some lube all over my car.

My Toyota Tundra blew a fuel pump and I mistakenly took it to the local Toyota dealer. After 2 weeks of racking up bills and excuses the truck still didnt run. I took the truck to Eldons and they helped negotiate with Toyota to get me a full refund from Toyota while they professionally fixed my truck. It speaks volumes that the Toyota service department has such high regard for Eldons they were willing to trust Eldons expertise and admit they screwed up. Thank you Eldons!

Michael Rowe successfully identified the obscure root cause of a steering wheel shake that has been bugging me for 4 years. Forget the dealerships and the chain shops - go to the best: Eldons!

Typically a reputable shop and came in for a random misfire on a 2007 BMW X3, turns out it was a coil and spark plugs. This is an easy job, 2 hours at most of work. $1,025 quoted price. Hilarious, I’ve replaced ignition coils and spark plugs on a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo and it was less than half of that. - Be aware of market prices and don’t get ripped off.

I was impressed not only by the the great troubleshooting and quick repair time but also that the cost of repair was less than I would have expected. Their texts and emails kept me updated and even contained pictures and videos of all that they found and did with my car. Paul and Eldon treated me as if they had known me for years and made sure that I was completely satisfied with their work, promising to make it right if I wasnt 100% happy. To top it off, they cleaned the inside of my car and left a bag of holiday candy in the cup holder. Excellent shop, highly recommended and I will use them exclusively for all my future car repairs.

Paul was able to answer all of my questions and provided great feedback. Changing the timing belt on this engine requires removing everything from the front of the engine. I brought my truck to Eldons because I was confident that every bolt and nut would go back in the correct spot with no pieces left over when the job was complete. They even vacuumed. Nice touch.

We took our 2006 Toyota Sienna to Eldons in November 2019. They replaced the radiator and were able to confirm viability of the transmission before the repair. The repair was reasonably priced and performed quickly. This very old minivan has been running reliably ever since and we avoided buying a new car for a little longer.

I had 2 tough issues that neither I nor other places could figure out. Eldons kept at it and got both issues taken care of. Very well pleased.

From experience Ive become skeptical when seeking help with auto maintenance and repairs. Eldons approach to helping me understand my cars maintenance and/or repair needs as well as their reasonable prices has significantly lessened my scepticism. Theyre also customer oriented.

Reason for visit: fit new tiresFirst time that I have taken a vehicle to Eldon’s (they were one of the installers suggested by Tire Rack) and the only work required was fitting new tires and alignment, so no experience at this point with more complex repairs. However I was impressed with their attitude and the facility’s layout and its well kept appearance. Eldon was thorough in answering my questions, took me into the shop allowing me to check and confirm that the tires were as ordered, and very eager to offer any assistance in making my wait as convenient as possible.Though I have been generally pleased with my current/previous service facility, I expect that I will return to Eldon’s when future service is needed.Recommended

Professional work; helpful; clean and relaxing waiting area.Employees are very helpful and accommodating, no matter the situation. Have never had a post-repair issue but am confident that it would be quickly resolved if I did. I was in Nebraska for a hunting trip and discovered my brakes were completely worn out and desperately needed replacement. I drive a challenge SRT which has Brembo brakes, so I was really worried about the availability and cost if getting them done. I stopped in at Eldons to see if they could take care of me. They told me to go get some lunch and come back in a couple hours. when I came back, they had received the parts and had them installed in less than an hour. on top of that, the cost was far less than I had expected. I couldnt be happier with the entire experience. I only wish I had a shop like this back home in Texas.A huge thumbs up to Eldons!!!!Keep up the great work and service.

I was so nervous about my car after noticing a strange shaking and clunking. I had taken it to two different shops that gave me two different and expensive diagnosis and I felt very stressed out and confused. I am a young woman and I really dont know that much about cars and its hard to know who to trust and if a shop is taking advantage of me. So I took my car to Eldons just to get a third diagnosis and they 100% knew what the clunking was, (which the other shops breezed over and said they couldnt figure out) and they gave me a recommendation of what to do about the shaking that luckily didnt require thousands of dollars like one shop had anticipated. During the inspection they took pictures of what they were seeing and experiencing which was very helpful for me to understand and it also made me feel like they were being transparent and not lying or taking advantage of me. They stayed in contact with me throughout the process and were very friendly, helpful, and patient with my questions. My car is driving great now and I feel confident and more safe-- I made the right choice!

I was impressed with the inspection and technology they use for the inspection and report. Seemed very trustworthy and genuine. We need more shops like this!

Every experience I have at Eldon’s exceeds my expectations. I’ve interacted with various people in many instances: standard maintenance such as oil changes, repairs, a ride to work, home pick up, etc. They have integrity, do quality work, and demonstrate great customer service. To top it off, when I pick up my VW, it’s been washed, dash wiped down, and a little thank you card attached to a small bag of candies is on the console.

I called Eldons at 2:15 on a Friday before a long holiday weekend. My brake lights were stuck on, and I had plans for the weekend that didnt include sitting at home because of a dead battery. Ive brought them my 1974 Porsche as well as my 2003 Mercedes and theyve always done a good job. I noticed that they carefully applied anti-seize to the hub face when they did a set of tires for me; thats above and beyond your typical shop imo. Their loaner cars make it very convenient to let them work on my car without any hindrance to my schedule or needing to find a ride from someone.

I have a 2017 Mini. I had depended on Mini to service my correctly and completely. That wasnt happening! Eldons came up in a search, good reviews so I made an appointment. BEST thing Ive done. Eldon fixed all the little things that Mini would fix next time or completely ignored. Their (Scott) communication with me was more than I expected. I was made aware of all hiccups and possible solutions. It might have taken longer than expected, but my car drives like it is showroom new!
