We were on a family vacation and on our way home when the alternator decided it was going to go out. Luckily we were close to our hotel when this happened. The next morning I started calling several places hoping to find someone to fix this and get us back in the road. The owner of the shop said to come right in and he would do whatever he could to get us back on the road. I cannot thank the owner for his ability to get us in without an appointment and able to get back home. If you are in the Columbus Ohio area this is the place to go.

Our family has been going to Ernies for years, and all I can say is terrible customer service. Great mechanics very thorough and experienced. But customer service is part of the process also.

Too expensive, I dont think the mechanic price labor according to other mechanic prices, It seems that he prices according to how hard its goin to be for him. Especially if he hasnt worked on your car type often. I have a friend who is currently utilizing these services. And almost everyday something else is wrong with the car since she got it back. I dont know if it there fault I just dont think they are really fixing her car. And I dont think they know exactly what is wrong with it. Be careful

I called Ernies and spoke with a man named Bill. Bill told me stuff my shop hasnt mentioned. I tried what he said and everything went back to normal, my car runs better...Im impressed with Bills skills seriously ...

Awful, all he did was discourage me from getting my truck fixed. Boosting ( Get a new engine) up the repair and trying to get me to spend thousands of dollars that I did not need to spend. Why is he in business if it is not to fix the problem. Not a mechanic a rip off. Just my opinion, Facts!!

Took my 2008 odyssey for an oil leak ran perfectly fine before they touched after not so good drove it the next day to work delaware ohio it starts miss firing and falls on its face theres parts still loose and wires hanging air intake tube have a big rip in it had to replace on my own i will give them another chance but i see small claims involved bc of attitude i incountered in person im a truck driver and this is a inconvenience for me to get to work missing days off work for this mishap

I have never visited. I simply called to ask for prices and was off put by the mans customer service. I simply said I was going to call around before booking and he laughed at me and hung up on me without a word I obviously wont be coming to his business and will never attempt to again

My husband and I came here to have our wheel studs replaced. They were so welcoming, and stayed after close to finish the job for us. I will definitely be coming here for any other auto work in the future. Great place, great mechanics, and wonderful customer service.

They had my vehicle for a whole day and did absolutely nothing to it. I asked to have some specific work done. They didnt even put air in my tires. Nothing was done. They still charged me over $100. I was supposed to get a follow up call with a list of parts that needed to be replaced. They never called. Going to Ernies was a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor. Find somewhere else to fix your ride.

The manager was gruff and they are too expensive. It seems the work was done well.

Told me I needed new upper control arms to do an alignment and wanted $1200 to do so took it to another shop and was told the upper control arms didn’t need to be replaced just the cam bolts was on backwards wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone owner is very rude and trying to charge for parts that didn’t even need replaced!

Corrected a problem with my car’s alignment that was caused by another mechanic. If you need a front end alignment on a foreign car these people know what they are doing and they charge half of what it cost at the dealership...

My family and i have had Bill repair our cars for years. All our work vans, personal vehicles are repaired here. No complaints, quick turn arounds and honest work. Dont go any where else but here for automotive repairs.

I visited this establishment after having being referred by a very reputable individual and making an appointment with ( Bill).Bills discourtious service and brow beating was to the extent that I didnt know how low I needed to bow and scrape in order to give him my hard earned money.Once I informed ( Bill) of such he curtly said he didnt want by business.So so I leaft and canvassed the good competition on his Street!

Bill was very knowledgeable and courteous. Our van engine was mis-firing and Bill fixed it. Works like a charm now!

Great place to go to get the job done right.I went to Ernie’s Automotive to repair; brake system, pads, rotors, oil change & filter, radiator, heating core and seals. All the work was affordable and done sooner than expected.

Great group of guys working there.. Got me towed in my cars issue diagnosed and my starter replaced in under 3 hours plus there prices are very decent
