Switched to Allstate a couple years back to consolidate. The transfer was painful, but it needed to be done. I felt like I had to hold the hand of every person I spoke with at this agency. I had to switch a few things around on my policy for a vehicle and it took a week to get it verified. No one called me back, or followed up. Somehow my payment method became detached from auto pay; I called to ask how we can set up a new one so it doesnt happen again. I get voicemail. Leave multiple voicemails and emails to the help email and SILENCE. You know what I did get was a letter informing me they were canceling my policy due to lack of payment... No kidding that is why I called. So frustrating we are legally required to give you insurance ppl money and carry policies and the level of service sucks! Walmart would offer better service than this agency.

Amazing Agency! Family owned! You actually get a person in OHIO who not only answers your calls but explains what the heck insurance is! Lol. They are always friendly whenever I call in with any questions! Top notch!

Switching homeowners insurance sounded like a daunting task until I spoke with Chris Hrinca-Diaconescu and he assured me that there was nothing I had to do to get it all switched over. He would take it from there. We were shopping around because our homeowners insurance had nearly doubled from the previous year, so we knew it was time to switch companies. I was definitely caught off guard when I called my mortgage company to have an escrow analysis done a few days after our new insurance policy went into effect (as instructed) only to find out that the information had never been submitted and our mortgage company had already paid our yearly premium to our OLD insurance company and putting us negative in our escrow account. When I called Chris, he was quick to place the blame on our mortgage company and our old insurance. But after multiple 3 way calls with these other companies, I was able to gather that the information had not been submitted properly and this entire headache could have been avoided altogether if I had done it myself- which I absolutely could have done, but I was assured they had it under control. At the end of this very frustrating, almost hour long phone conversation, I informed Chris that I am unavailable to consistently waste so much time on the phone while trying to get this handled and he seemed to understand. He gave me his email so we could correspond via email instead and he told me he would get back to me as soon as he knew something. I am disappointed to say that it has been over a month since that conversation and I have heard nothing since. After 3 spaced out emails inquiring about the refund went unanswered, I gave up and called the office directly to express my concerns and request a new agent. A woman who said she’d look into it for me called me back shortly after to let me know that she believed Chris went above and beyond to provide me with the best customer service. I unequivocally must disagree because I am STILL dealing with this headache and I have yet to hear back from my agent. We will be searching for a new agency ASAP.

So far I think I like my new Allstate insurance policies, but I am having a difficult time talking to my agent. I called and left a message. A woman called back from a Dayton area code and left a voicemail. I returned her call and left another message. I am still waiting to speak to my agent. I have some questions I would like answered.

Zakiyah helped me to clarify My policy issues she also helped to set up my direct deposit and they have a better understanding of how the good hands of Allstate have to help me Mr. Calhoun and his agency in his agents assistant’s are amazing and they have blessed me in so many ways I had a terrible loss in my fire of my house on April 13 and my additional living expenses kicks right immediately and I have been taking care of well like to thank you again for all that you’ve done for me as my agent and a special thanks to let you help me today she’s wonderful full of knowledge in to the proper time to investigate and clarify any questions or needs concerns that I had with agents in and assistance like them you deserve agent tenant at 10 every time. Ms Zakiyah In my opinion should could and I would recommend a promotion better parking and ice cream cake a raise or something as she was extremely knowledgeable and is insisting me and all my needs.

To start you pay an upfront cost (this is new to me) and then later on that month, you have to pay for that month of service. So let’s say you start an auto insurance service with them on the 4th of October, during that visit you will pay the upfront cost. Towards the end of the month you will have to pay for the auto insurance for that month. So you will be charged for full price without even being on the policy for a full month. Also, the claims department is a joke, let’s say that you’re on the highway and there was an object in the middle of the road and you have no way of avoiding it, Allstate will state that you are at fault and the comprehensive coverage will not cover it. INSANE!!!!!!!! The rep tried to justify it by saying that parking your car under a tree and the tree falling on the car would be covered and thief would be covered by the comprehensive coverage but an item in the middle of the road and you not having any way to avoid it (Other cars are in the way) it your fault and comprehensive coverage will not cover it. Please before you think about using Allstate for insurance, read the reviews. I read them and said to myself “It can’t be that bad” It is that bad!!!!!!! I am going back to State Farm

Wow what a terrible experience this agency has been. We find out via our credit union that our new car is not covered, well this was a surprise to us as we have been paying monthly for insurance through this branch. We call and find out that they have a completely different vehicle listed on our policy. We then spend the next week or so just trying to talk to someone about what happened. Finally they tell us it was just a clerical error, meanwhile our credit union is now charging us $300+ for not having insurance on our vehicle. When we ask for the money back that we paid to cover this wrong vehicle, they basically tell us tough luck.

Received a mailing that had no return address and it took 4 times the amount of time that a normal envelope would have required just to open. Inside was a low ball home insurance estimate to bait you to call. I did call to complete about this mailing. Shame on Mr. Colhoun and Allstate.
