Called Saturday to have a couch picked up. Monday morning I called to cancel the pick up today is Thursday I left 4 messages,emailed and never got a responds or anyone on the phone. Service is none! Still trying to get someone on the phone. Dont bother signing up here its just annoying. From all the comments it seems nobody works there anymore. No call center and apparently no drivers. This place needs to get charges pressed on them. Charging money for what? They dont do anything there but ignore customers
We have been so disappointed in the lack of quality, professionalism and attention by this company. We have encountered 3 months of service and our recycle hasnt been picked up for 7 weeks in a row. Our trash was missed one of these weeks as well. Each time, the cans were out by 7am. I have emailed, called and completed a missed pickup form. No return phone calls. You cannot get a live person when you call. Yet, they charged us for the next three months? I realize the pandemic has impacted the workforce, but this is no excuse for ignoring customers and not providing the service we paid for.
I never had problems until the last 10 days with Waste Connections.I have not had my Recycling picked up for the 3rd week.I always put my cans out the night before.I sent emails and Chats after the first week I was missed. I was told my recycling would be picked up on the new scheduled day, this last Friday 09/24. Didnt happen.After sending 3 emails, one with a picture of my can, waiting 20 minutes on hold, I spoke with someone who said they do not have enough drivers and they have scheduled pickup for next week.No guarantees they can pick up though.My can is overflowing. One of my neighbors had their recycling picked up at 8 pm last Friday. Why didnt they pick up everyones? She was the only one that got picked up.Springs Waste was so much better. I never had a missed pickup and you could almost set your watch to their pick up time.Until the last 10 days, Waste Connection was pretty consistent and on time. Not anymore.
I had Springs Waste previously before they switched to Waste Connections and they were wonderful. My trash has not been picked up in a month! I have called and left voicemail over a dozen times with NO response as well as emailed! Absolutely the worst service. We called their transfer station today and finally got ahold of someone (that man was very professional and helpful this post is not about him!) But the trash man who has been running our route says that he has been picking up every week which is a lie! I will be switching service immediately. I suggest if you have having issues, you call the transfer station for help as its the only way to get ahold of them! I pay $42 a month and am certain I can find much better service for what I pay. Absolutely the most unprofessional trash company!
You can’t get ahold of them. I’ve called and left messages. I called the Denver office and they had to send an email to the Colorado Springs office just to see about canceling service. Do not go with this trash service. They’re garbage! Pun intended. Really, go with another company. Learn from everyone complaining about them.
This company is horrible. Although Ive tried calling, emailing, and their chat bot on their website to correct and pay my bill. they sent my bill to collection. No one should ever use this company. If I could give 0 stars i would.
I have no idea how Waste Connections continues to operate as a business. I tried cancelling my service (I was moving) and called to let them know I would no longer need service after the end of my quarterly billing cycle. I later received a delinquent bill notice. I called to reiterate that I had already cancelled my service but could not get a real person on the phone. I have since left at least six telephone messages and sent them an email, which received no reply. (This has been going on for three months.) My trash cans are still out in front of the house, which I’ve since rented to a tenant who uses a different provider. I’m now receiving text messages about a delinquent account. I have no clue how to get ahold of anyone at Waste Connections…I’m not even sure there are any humans still working the administrative side of the company. Did they let all their customer service reps go during COVID? Or were bought by some out-of-state tycoon who just employs sanitation workers and collects automated payments from people without having any sort of customer service/admin? Every time I call I feel like I’m in an episode of The Walking Dead and their office is just an eerie empty building. Don’t use them.
Ive called, emailed, and submitted contact us nearly once a week for the past 6 MONTHS trying to cancel my service because I moved. Havent been able to reach a single human being. No return calls, no return emails, absolutely nothing. Word of advice: call the corporate office to get your account and service canceled. Jessy from corporate was lovely and got my account deleted right away on the phone with her and she was super apologetic for the colorado springs locations lack of professionalism and responsiveness. I would never recommend this trash collection to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
Was very satisfied with Springs Waste and they provided the most convenient pickup date and was promptly picked up at 7:30 am. Since Waste Connections took over they changed our date, and pick up hour is unpredictable and recycle hasnt been picked up for 2 + weeks. And dont try to call them cause youll never get thru since there are so many people calling complaining. Im switching to another Company!
Just like the other reviews. Waste connections bought out Springs Waste Systems. Since then the price has gone up. Even though I was told price would not change. Billing all of a sudden is bi monthly instead of quarterly, and you are lucky if they even pick up your trash. When you call you are placed on hold for about 30 minutes. Then the system just hangs up on you. You leave messages and they wont call you back. You email them and no response. I tried for over 2 months to get a hold of them so they could simply explain the billing to me. Now I have simply not paid the recent bill and would like them to come get their cans. It wasnt until I called the corporate office that the local office gave me a call. At that point she basically said sorry we are short staffed. I asked that even being short staffed it takes 2 months to return a call? Yep she responds. No customer service. No customer value. Just excuses. Waste connections is so big that they could care less if they loose a few customers. Corporate in TX said they would call me back as well. Would you believe they didnt call me either.
Ever since Springs Waste Systems was bought out, or something kind of renaming was done awhile ago, we have had NO customer service with Waste Connections. I have called once or twice as week, every week for EIGHT MONTHS, and have never reached a human being. Each time I reach a recording and leave a message but no one ever calls me back. I have sent them numerous emails and messages on their website and no one ever contacts me; this is going on EIGHT MONTHS.They continue to bill me..in correctly. I have tried to contact them about the billing errors, contact them about times they didnt pick up that week (due to a holiday occurring that week, no they werent just delayed a day due to the holiday but didnt pick up at all that week and yet charged me for that week, like usual.) I have tried calling them about payment to add some extra bags to our weekly service and I had wanted to contact them about getting a dumpster for some remodel, yard work and extra cardboard we wanted to get rid of. However, I can never reach anyone.I am now trying to contact them to just cancel my service, they have October through the end of the year already charged to my account and it is only 9/9/21. I want to terminate the service before October 1 and I will go with a different company; I have already spoken to them, because they ANSWER THEIR PHONE.AS A WARNING, DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE. We only ended up with them, as they inherited our account from buying out Springs Waste Systems, or something, and we are canceling.
Yes, once they were bought out I had to call them for missed pick ups, but they always apologized and made up for it. Now they dont miss a day + where I live they have to pick up right off the main street just past a busy intersection. So I am grateful that they go out of their way to make it work for us.. I normally dont do reviews but since they do extra for us. I just thought I would show some love. Also our guy (Richard Medina) is The Best. You just dont find people who care about their work and other people anymore. He goes out of his way to make sure we are taken care of. He deserves top pay for the job he performs. You will seldom find another Driver like him. Please keep him on my route? I know service days are changing but please keep Richard on our route!!?
I have been trying to call the company for lat three weeks daily. No response and no help has been given. Please look elsewhere for a good company. They were never this bad and used to be the best in town. Unfortunately I have no idea what changed.
Ive been with springs waste for over a year now, and since they merged with waste connections they have gone completely downhill. Getting someone on the phone from this company is impossible, and when you finally are able to speak to someone by divine miracle, they completely lack empathy and are borderline rude. Since the merger with waste connections, my trash has been missed five times. Every time I call, they say they cant make it back to get my trash so just leave it out and theyll get it next week. Its been three consecutive weeks and my trash is overflowing. If I were you, Id consider a different company for your trash needs, because this is literally the worst company I have ever worked with.
Worst customer service EVER after Springs Waste was bought out by this big corporation. We have missed pickups regularly. Last week utilities had the street blocked for a few hours, so they didnt pick up any ones on our street. We contacted them through their website and app, because they never answer the phone, because bears and other critters get in trash if left out. Of course they didnt respond or come and of course the bears got in the garbage. I would never recommend them to anyone and we are looking for a new company, hopefully there is still a locally owned one left.
We were long term customers of Springs Waste (20 years) and they were the best in the business. Sadly this giant company has come in and taken over that company and been completely the opposite. They changed our garbage day with no notice so our garbage was set out day after day awaiting pickup, they wont answer a phone call, but will put you on hold for 30min (ask me how I know). I recommended Springs Waste to every new neighbor in our community, I cant wait to do the opposite for this company. We will be switching ASAP!
I left over a dozen messages months ago and no call was ever returned. I cant cancel service becasue of the lack of response, another quarter is up and I will have to refuse to pay and see if they will contact me or walk in, as Ive already begun the unanswered messages again. The email they give us is undeliv.
My experience is similar to all the other reviews.There is no way to get ahold of them. I am not even sure how I can go about canceling my service because you cant get in touch with them. You cannot online, over the phone, nothing.I also have had missed pick ups, which wouldnt be so bad if you could call them and get it fixed. But you cant.
WORST trash service EVER. I should have paid attention to the red flag when my 2 voicemails requesting to start service were never returned. Ive left several voicemails as a customer and never got a call back. Minimum hold time when calling was always 10 minutes, up to 30.Twice I requested extra pickup and had issues each time - the first time the driver wasnt informed of the request and didnt pick up the moving supplies (boxes) that I was instructed to leave next to the can. After calling several times and not getting ahold of anyone, I brought the boxes to recycling myself. The second time I paid $40 for additional bags to be picked up. I had discussed their weight and contents with the customer service person, but when the driver got here he said they were too heavy and he couldnt take them. He was able to take 3 of the 15 bags we hauled out, and when customer service called to tell me they wouldnt be taking the rest of the bags they refused to issue a full refund. So my husband has now had to haul these bags back and forth to/from our house a couple of times. Hes not a weightlifter - if he could lift the bags the driver certainly should have been able to too (hes a bigger dude than my husband).Theres more to say but I dont want to write a novel. Just caution anyone looking for a good trash service to NOT use this one.
I wish I could give zero stars. This place doesn’t pick up your trash, will not call you or email back, when we cancelled they continued to call with an automated system saying our service would be cancelled if we didn’t pay the next bill. They have no organization, no customer service, and obviously are a poorly run company. Raccoon’s are a more reliable trash pick up service. Do not use!!
When this was Springs Waste, awesome.. Once Waste Connections bought, service just completely tanked. Missed pickups on recycling, today being the second time and now they are shifting my schedule so I will have to wait 3 weeks for a recycle pickup.. They never answer their phone or leave you on hold in hopes you just go away. If their agents are this busy, perhaps they should reassess their quality of service, which is zero right now.
One morning I was running behind and I did not have the trash out I hear the truck coming to a stop to realize that he passed m my house because I didn’t have my trash out.. it’s my fault.. anyways he was going to my neighbors next luckily he heard my cry’s and was able to reverse and give me a moment to go get the trash good guy! I have been calling and leaving messages for THREE WEEKS! Customer service is the absolute WORST! Can’t resolve anything. Nobody answers phone. Nobody calls or emails back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!Springs Waste was AWESOME! These people come in and take over, merge, or buy out, whatever happened. Now it stinks! Springs waste girls we’re always attentive and responsive and resolved issues immediately!This place is AWFUL!
Do not use this trash company! The customer service is the worst Ive ever had with a company. If you call in it takes 45 minutes or more to get a person on the phone. You do have the option to leave a message to have someone call you back. Ive left 4 messages during my time with this company and NEVER got a call back. They miss picking up trash and their solution is they will pick up twice as much the next week! I dont want trash sitting around for a week in my hot garage and I pay you to PICK IT UP weekly. I canceled my service with them mid cycle because they missed picking up my trash twice in a three week period and 2 months later I still have not received a refund on the remainder of unused service. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Waste Connections. There are much better trash companies to choose from.
My recycling pickups have been missed repeatedly over the last few months. This is not the company I originally signed up with, because they took over Springs Waste. Service was poor since waste connections took over or “merged.” I have called several times, throughout the year, with no response. They do NOT answer the phone, but rather have a message for call back. This is unacceptable! This is NOT the way to conduct and maintain business!
After the buyout from Springs Waste our service went to hell. We kept getting double billed even though we were reassured everything was fine. Getting through on the phones is impossible and when you finally do, dont dare show any frustration, theyll instantly hang up on you. The customer is aways wrong with them. The saying buyer beware couldnt be stressed more! We are happy to cancel our service and change to GFL which turns out to be cheaper!
No human to talk to, missed pickups, bears spread trash several times! Late fees! Had atomatic payments...why? Terrible!! $$$$lost someone needs to go to the news..i chatted their robot thing cant cancel! Bills will come and collection .This is crazy!

I have been with springs waste for 5+ years. I was with waste connections before springs waste. Now that the company’s have merged I’m stuck with waste connections AGAIn!!!They miss pick ups all the time. Call and ask why and it’s the same answer, our drivers are behind. No compensation is ever given but our bills go up almost every year. If I miss a payment by 1 day I’m charged a late fee. So waste connections can be late for a pick up but I can’t be late for a payment. The reason they give for not giving compensation is because they are still picking up. Well I’m still paying my bill so why do I have to pay a late fee but waste connections doesn’t? Only reason I’m still with them is because they are not as expensive as their competitors but they are getting there. They better get better at their jobs before they raise the price to much.

Glad Im not the only one having issues trying to get ahold of someone my trash was missed yet again today, and when I try to contact this company its either be placed on hold for 20+ mins and be sent to a automated line that just hangs up on you, or I receive someone and then get placed on hold only to be hung up on. I have been trying to cancel my service for months now and have still been receiving past due bills and letters stating it will be sent to collections.
I needed a dumpster for a remodel. I spoke with Christina who was absolutely wonderful. I havent had someone so polite help me with anything in a very long time. I have been e mailing Robbin to arrange everything and it went quick and easy. I see a lot of negative comments about customer service but I have been more than happy with my transactions.
Supposedly Springs Waste Management were bought out by another company. We were advised via a postcard to put our garbage out Monday, 9/20/21 at 7 am, for pick up. I have called many times and left 3 messages, with no response. Apparently this new company is only good at picking up money but nothing else!
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Its been two weeks since the last time they picked up my garbage. They tell me everyday to put my garbage on the curb at 0700 and someone will pick it up, but they never do! It bakes out in the hot sun until 1900 when I have to bring it in the garage so the bears wont get it. Its making my whole house smell and the garbage has piled up so bad that I cant park in my garage. The same thing is happening to my neighbors. I call everyday to complain and they tell me the same thing; someone is in-route to pickup my garbage. It has been this way ever since Springs Waste was bought out and management doesnt take any phone calls.Cascade, Chipita Park, and Green Mountain Falls residents!! Call Teller County Waste and convince them to start servicing our area. Waste Connections cannot continue to treat our community this way. We need to force them out of business.
We have been trying to get ahold of them for MONTHS. Weve called multiple times and was on hold for an hour everytime before we gave up. We have also sent many emails trying to get in contact with someone. Some weeks our trash is picked up, other times they dont come to our neighborhood at all. Terrible company and service.
I have been trying to cancel our service for over three months now. They dont respond to phone calls, e-mails or texts. However, they still continue to send me past due bills and automated calls. Their roll-off can is still sitting in our driveway. I feel like painting our account number on it and dumping it off at their location. Wish they would get their act together.
They kept missing pickups. When they did pickup, half the time they left a mess behind. Calling goes to voicemail, and nobody returned my call 3 times I left messages. Then I paid 10 days late and they charged me a late fee AND a $30 reactivation fee. What a wonderful company to do business with. I rewarded them for their wonderful practices by switching to a different company and giving them the deserved rating on every platform I find. Save yourself the aggravation and steer clear of these people.
They do NOT empty my dumpster. My dumpster sat for 4 weeks until I had my new service empty it. My bill was always paid on time. Called WC many many times, I left messages through their online billing website only to be called back twice saying they would fix the issue. They never emptied the dumpster. I got a bill for August 2021, yet they didnt provide service. Every holiday week, they skipped me, saying we will pick it up next scheduled pickup so the trash sits for 4 weeks yet they bill for full service. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE SERVICE AS AGREED.
This used to be a good company many years ago but has Drastically declined over the years! Recently switched and it’s been months since my toters are still in my garage. They haven’t picked them up and when I called this morning they can’t pick them up for another three weeks! So glad I switched to another company
One of the worst trash company in colorado springs. Never on time. Im never late paying my bills, they messed up my bills after changing company and they disconnected my service without my knowledge. I called them 5 times and left voicemail, never heard back. I also sent an email through the customer service and no one ever called me. I called for the 6 time and was on hold for a very long time. I spoke to one of the customer service and she stated that they have disconnected my service and I have already paid my bill on 6/10/21 and I have prove of that. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
You can’t reach anyone at WC, hold time is over 30 minutes than it dumps you into vm and they never call you back. Over charge and under deliver!
We cancelled our service. They acknowledged our cancellation and took their bins after a few weeks. However, they continue to send us bills. Do not sign up for their service unless you are ready for a legal battle.I will remove my review after I receive a written acknowledgement that we do not owe them anything.
Abhorrent customer service. Did NOT pick up recycle. Does NOT Answer Calls. Will NOT Return Voicemails. Would NOT Recommend. UPDATE: Now going on three straight weeks of not picking up our recycle and not returning calls. UPDATE on 09/20/2021: Just when you think they might have your address on their route and they pick up once....just wait....they are a no show and you get a call that they missed you, please hold all your recycle until your next scheduled pick up; but, they dont show up week after week after week. Would love to cancel & would love a refund for non-service; but, cant get through and no one calls back. Absolutely awful.
We recently moved to the Springs and with so many choices of trash service we figured we would use the one the previous home owner used since the cans were still here. My first three or four messages to the company were simply to try to establish service. My subsequent 15 or so messages have been an attempt to get them to pick up their cans (nice at first but not so nice after multiple tries). I have yet to receive a call back and the cans are still here. Ironic that Im about to resort to taking trash cans to a landfill because I dont have any idea what else to do at this point.
I previously had springs waste until it was bought out by waste connections. I had little to no problems before waste connections took over. They are consistently not on time, they are impossible to get ahold of if you have problems, and if you get them expect to have many problems. The most recent problem, they were supposed to pick up my trash on Tuesday and we watched as they picked up all the trash on the other side of the street and just never came back. They just skipped out while side of the street. My neighbor tried calling and we did as well.. We tried emailing them, with no response. When my neighbor went in they told her that she didnt have their trash out at 7 am, which is a lie. They came to pick up our trash today two days later and gave my husband a hard time saying they were going to drive by and not pick up our trash because they had to verify if we paid. Yes we paid, and our trash was supposed to be picked up two days ago. If you get them also expect that if there is any sign of snow.. Whether it has snowed or not, they will not be coming for a couple of days. I will be changing my trash services as soon as possible . Dont get waste connections.
Waste Connections has a single job: to pick up recycle and trash on the day of service. They aren’t doing that. Zero stars would be awarded if possible. Must be nice to pocket people’s money without providing a service.
I had springs waste but they were bought out by waste connections. After double charging us and raising our rates we decided to end services. I called 4 times and the line would just disconnect. I finally went in and the receptionist to the right with short curly hair, was rude and unhelpful. When asked why we were double charged she couldn’t give a clear answer. Well, two weeks later they hadn’t picked up their trash cans so we went back in to make sure they would pick them up. That same receptionist was just as rude to an elderly gentleman in front of us. He would ask simple questions and just ignored him to the point he would ask his question three times before she would snap her response to him. She snatched things out of his hand, and was completely unpleasant. The receptionist to the left was sweet and tried to be helpful. But baby on the right is hurting this companies already poor reputation.
Worst company. Have called multiple times over the last three weeks to cancel service on a house I sold. Left 2 emails to cancel my service and still have never received a phone call or any communication back. They just charged my account again for 3 months of service. Filed against them with my bank to stop them from charging me in the future and reverse the charge. Cant even just cancel the service on their website, absolute joke of a company.
Rates went up. Autopay didn’t work last quarter so they didn’t pick up last week. Called three times. Left a message every time. No call back. Went into the office today, canceled and still had to pay for the week they didn’t pick up AND a reactivation fee. Really looking forward to my new provider.
Last week you picked up the neighbors trash but drove past my cans. So no trash or recycle pickup. This week you managed to pick up the trash but again missed the recycle. What is going on?
I am fed up with this company! It has been 3 weeks and they have not picked up my trash, out of the 3 residents in the home we have all called and left detailed messages, waited on hold for multiple hours, and now were ending the service. Nothing to my knowledge has prompted this terrible service. They wont come pick up their garbage container, there is no communication with its customers. I dont recommend their service to anyone.

Would not answer their phone, if you ever did get a answer they put you on hold then hang up . Trash pickup depends on driver, called several times about the driver missing the whole block next and last time there was the mailman parked behind the trash can about 4 feet . Because this driver wouldnt stop to move the can closer to his truck, he drove on by . Last straw this company is worthless, no quality in anything about their operations. A lot of excuses and thats it .
Absolutely horrible, I had L and L for years, they were bought out by Springs Waste, I only ever had minor issues with both companies and they were always quick to resolve any issues. Since Waste Connections took over we have only had our trash picked up once in over a month. They do not answer calls and do not call back, email seems to be the only means of contact. When we called to find out why they did not pick up there answer is we are short drivers and office staff, Im sorry your company is having hardships but that does not mean my trash does not get picked up. Asking about a credit fell on deaf ears also, claiming they picked up double the trash when they did pick up the one time, we did not overfill and we had no trash outside of the bins, how is that double? I hope for their sake they get it worked out, already setup new service with Waste Management.
Consistently miss pick-ups, even in summer. Recycling only picked up every two weeks, and if they miss they just say see ya next time and you must go another 2 weeks before recycling is picked up. Poor and unresponsive customer service. National company that has acquired springs waste systems here in CO Springs; very obvious it is a greedy company that doesnt care about providing a quality service.
Horrible service now! When it was Springs Waste I had Zero service issues even in the dead of winter. It has been over a month since my recycling has been picked up and when I call I’m on hold for 20 minutes then it just sends me to voicemail. Nobody called back. When I finally got ahold of someone they assured me that the problem was fixed and my recycling would be picked up on next service day. Well that was 3 days ago and there they sit. Horrible
Second update: Kudos to Heather, the only employee there that knows how to provide any customer service or how to apologize. She found my payment, fixed our account and personally drive down to pick up our trash from the last two weeks and the cans. It’s very unfortunate that they don’t have more employees that are willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.Update: Someone finally called after a week and a half about our billing issues and trash not getting picked up (after multiple calls and emails). Not only are they not removing the additional month we were double billed for, but they are claiming they refunded our $81 in April that was paid for May through July and that they suspended our account because of it. The bank confirmed that they have not refunded anything. To top it off, they want us to pay them another $77 to cover April through June 10. April was paid for in January, they have provided zero service since May, and they still have my $81!Do not use this company. They took over Springs Waste in April and have been absolutely horrible. They have not picked up our trash three times now, they didn’t apply our payment, and they double billed us for July. They don’t answer the phone even when it’s business hours, they don’t call back, and they don’t respond to emails. We were very happy with Springs Waste, and I’m sad that they sold to the worst company ever. I’ve never dealt with such terrible service before from anywhere. We called to cancel, but of course no one answered. They’re likely going to steal our money from the three weeks of service they didn’t provide and the month and a half left for what we paid for.
This company has the absolute worst customer service. My wife and I called their number 5 times over a 3 month period to figure out why they put our account in collections despite having made a payment that was 3 times the quarterly cost. During that 3 month period we never got a call back. It finally took my wife going into their location to tell them we are done using their services. The lady sat and tried to tell my wife we were still in collections, to which my wife replied you had 3 months to call us and figure that out. You refused to do the most basic customer service so we refuse to pay you another dime. Now we are simply trying to get their trash can to be picked up, which costs money when you setup the account yet they never showed up to pick up the can two weeks in a row. I dont understand how you can run a business like this. Ignoring paying customers until they leave your business, then continuing to leave products that cost money with those customers. I sincerely hope you guys go out of business.
Pickup is fine, but poor administrative customer service. Since transition from Springs Waste (who were superb), I have had a continuous problem with incorrect billing periods. No reply either through email or their app. Calls are met with unreasonable wait times. Very close to changing providers after more than 15 years with Springs Waste. Sad.
Failed to pickup our recycling 2 weeks in a row. Each time they failed to pick up our recycling, we received an automated phone messages saying they would pick up the recycling the next day. Needless to say, this company has failed to perform a job we have paid them for. Would suggest using another waste management company if you have an option!
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR SERVICES, they should be turned into the Better Business Bureau. They were missing my garbage pickup at least once a month, usually every other week, and the hold time to talk to someone was always at least 20 minutes. Then when I called to say I was moving, I told them I was going to have a couple extra boxes put by the garbage bin and to take it out of my refund amount, no problem they said. I called for two days in a row (20 min. holds of course) to make sure they werent going to miss my final pickup since the new owners were going to be moving in the day after. Well, they didnt pick it up AGAIN and claimed they couldnt pick it up until the following week. I asked for a manager to call me, no call, even though I was told one would. Then I had to pay $110 for a junk company to come do their job for them AND have yet to get my refund. Dont waste your time or youll be stuck on hold at least once a month due to them not doing their job.
It’s really unfortunate that what was once a good company has turned into this. Thankfully we have switched to a new local trash provider yet it’s been two months and they still haven’t come to take their trash bin away.
Havent had a pickup since in almost 2 months. They got paid though. Had to go with another company. Trying to cancel, but no answer... No website.... No customer service. Ideally I want my money back, but I dont think its gonna happen. They should come pick up the empty can at the very least.
These people have been the worst to deal with through our move. First they didnt pick up our trash. So we decided to switch companies. Now instead of picking up our cans they dropped off 2 more!!! Can I get ahold of them to fix the issue? No. Absolutely not. This whole experience has been miserable.
This is a horrible trash company. Its impossible to call them, they wont return messages, their auto billing is screwed up and will take your money then try to bill you and threaten canceling. They text me night before pickup to say theyll pick up on time and then dont show up. Ive been told everything from bad weather to unsafe conditions in our area. POOR management!! Company is horrible!!!! EVERYONE IN MANAGEMENT couldnt caresless because they know theyll get your money. Dont use this company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

One star is very generous, they deserve zero. I have been contacted four times now that my account is past due. It is now July and I moved out of my old place in December 2020. I have been told by 3 different representatives that my account has been closed and it’s a mistake in the system.Now, I’m being told that my account is getting sent to a third party collector and it will affect my credit. I’m tired of being harassed and threatened by this company. I feel that my only option is to report them to BBB.I wish could get a hold of a customer service representative. Apparently, they just stop caring and send everything to voice mail. Terrible company!!
So I came onto this company when I first moved here because they were right across the street from us. Never really had any issues I had them for 14 years and then all of a sudden they started charging like at Christmas we would have extra stuff and they literally started charging per bag just ridiculous amounts. we have been loyal customers for 14 years and never paid late and I just felt like when I called to ask about it there was no consideration and the lack customer service that was received had me change immediately.
Our guy John is great, nice and helpful. We had a bunch of yard waste (previous owner didnt believe in yard clean up) and John had no problem taking it all. I tried to call the office to give them a heads up and no one answered and never called back. That is disappointing form a customer service aspect but John the driver is great
I moved and so canceled my trash and recycling service at the end of March 2021. Filled out the electronic form on their website, and answered a call from their rep to confirm. They say they will refund me for the pickups that I paid in advance for but have not used.In June I received a voicemail and a paper bill saying I had not paid for my ongoing services.I leave a voicemail restating that my service was cancelled. They never return my call.I receive another voicemail the first week of July again saying that my bill is now 90 days overdue and will be transferred to a third party collection agency.I again call them back and leave another voicemail, as apparently no one answers the phones there.I no longer live in Colorado springs and cannot visit their location as others have done to get customer service. I do not know what to do to have this resolved.
This company acquired my old trash company, Springs Waste, in February. The company that I work for also contracted with Springs Waste. Since then it has been a long slow train wreck. It is hard to get anyone on the phone, they dont return voicemails, their online pay portal is buggy and unreliable, service is unreliable, and they cant keep their commercial accounts straight. I paid for and scheduled a pickup for an old screen door on Tuesday. It is now Thursday, and no pick up. I called four times, and have been directed to voicemail four times. Once I can get someone on the phone, I am switching to a new service provider. Dont waste your money.
Would give 0 stars.Missed pick up 2 weeks in a row. Got my neighbors, but not mine. Had to call 11 times before I got someone on the phone. I was told that they would come by yesterday to pick up what they missed, but they didnt. 15 calls today before I could talk to someone. Now they are telling me that they cannot come until Monday, which is my normal pickup day, so on the 3rd week. When I ask to talk to a supervisor, the only answer I get is that they are all in a meeting and I will get a call back. I am still waiting for a call back from last month, so why should I believe that today will be any different?
I was originally a Springs Waste Customer for 10+ years prior to the merge. I always received great customer service. Sadly I cannot say the same about Waste Connections. Over the last month I have called and left SEVEN messages and have yet to receive a call back. 4 were to discuss my bill & 3 were in regards to services needed.. I am in need of a bulk pick up, but cant even get anyone to answer the phone or call me back. Management is doing their company a great disservice by not having more employees available. You bought another company & most likely doubled or tripled or clients- have someone who is able to pick up the phones and take care of your customers. We will be going into the office next week to cancel our service because its obvious Waste Connections doesnt care about its customers.
I heard when Springs Waste got bought out things would get worse. They are not kidding. Since the buy out, half the time our trash isnt picked up on time. The recycling has now twice been not picked up at all, but you get a message that you can leave it out the next week with extra items at no extra cost, no kidding, like someone is going to pay extra because you didnt do your job? Now Im in the process of trying to cancel the service and cant talk to a live person. The website is completely useless.
We have been using their services for at least the past eight years. Overall I give them 4.5 out of 5.Every now and then we are not able to get trash outside of gate and into alley way for pickup. For the past 2 years we noticed that if we dont get trash to alley they will not take it. Mind you its only six feet to alley and its a cyclone fence so its very visible and easily accessible. Before it wasn’t a issue but now it is which leaves me asking what changed? Company policy, driver or ....? Otherwise they are affordable and great and I do recommend them.
The people are so friendly and provide great service. Whenever we have an issue they work to solve it immediately. Great service!

I like so many other reviews am having a very bad experience with this company. Since the original owners sold this business to Waste Connections things have gone downhill....Fast.From January to current (June) I have seen my bill go up $5.00 with the last increase there was no communication, no notice. I have phoned numerous times over the past few weeks. Left messages for them to call me concerning this increase, but to no avail. Customer Service will not return calls. Your put on hold if you do call. Maybe you will get someone, maybe not. I dont have the time to wait hours to get this resolved.I even wrote an e mail to them on their website several times concerning this issue. Still no response.....I spoke with my next door neighbor who uses this service and spoke to him about what he is charged. He is getting his service a lot cheaper than I am and mind you, his house sits next to mine.After this quarter I am dumping this service and going to another reputable company that has good customer service. It is obvious Waste Connections of Colorado Springs does not. Jacking up the bill without explanation is ridiculous and uncalled for.Any one that is thinking of using this service, I offer you some wise advice. DONT. Horrible business........ :-(
Terrible company. They miss routine trash and recycling pick ups frequently and are impossible to get in contact with. I am moving at the end of the month and have been calling them to cancel my services, but no one answers and they do not respond to voicemails that you leave them. I believe that I’m going to have to walk into their office to cancel my services, which is just atrocious for a business to make customers waste their time over something that simple.
Havent had trash pick up in 3 months. Called and emailed 12+ times trying to give benefit of the doubt that I miscommunicated and didnt get a single response in over 4 months. I cancelled my membership and recently got a charge for 81 dollars despite cancelling and my costs originally being much cheaper. I now have to get my bank involved to get my money back. This company is a scam and without exaggeration has the worst customer service Ive seen in my life.
This is the absolute worst company. Similar to the other latest reviews, our trash and recycling is not getting picked up on a consistent basis. I have left 4 voicemails over the last 8 weeks, filled out the contact form and emailed the customer service. I have yet to hear back from anyone. They are taking money. But they’re not providing service. I feel some civil action coming on because it seems like many people are getting scammed here. We cannot wait to change companies. I will hand deliver our garbage and recycling bins to their offices with all of the garbage we paid them to pick up and never did.
STAY AWAY FROM THEMI moved to a different company because it was much cheaper. They didnt come pick up their cans for like a month, I had to call 3 different times for them to come pick them up. Then I just got a call that my bill is $90 past due when we cancelled like 4 months ago. So I called to fix the issue and they made me leave a message, they dont have anyone answering phones. It pains me to say, however after Fantastic Service with the former company, Springs Waste, the current group, waste connections, has been a Colossal Disappointment. Unable to contact, or receive a response for over an 8 day period, from Sept 3, thru Sept 10, 2021, no one would answer their, Phone, email, Virtual text, voicemail.My service was suspended for no logical reason. I have re-occurring payments and a receipt that the account was charged and in good standing. On the 9th day, after massive efforts on my part, and No effort on theirs, I was able to talk with a Sales person. Not a customer service representative. Kristy, the sales rep, had no answers, however kept deflecting my concerns to you need to talk with, Nikyra in customer service. With No clear direction on how I could reach her. I plan to head over to their offices on Monday. I will let yall know how that turns out. Well I Hope!

They have been very reliable for weekly pickup, and also helpful in posting holiday schedules if it applies. Also if there is a change, they have so far always notified me prior to having trash out. Thank you.
Same as everyone - Springs Waste was great. Waste Connections is terrible. Switched to Infinite Disposal and have been very pleased.Theyre refusing to refund me after cancelling my service over a month ago. They owe me almost $400 for multiple properties.They wont respond to emails. They will never respond to your voicemails (ive left 5 the past few months, never a call back). Hold times are about 30 minutes each time I call before the call drops. I gave up after an hour and a half on hold.Service was cancelled at one of my properties and I got zero notification there was an issue with billing. I even called to make sure there was no issues and was assured everything was set up well.At one property they leave the cans were constantly left literally 10 in the middle of the street after picking up trash (that is if they even show up.) All properties had service disruptions, despite the crews and routes being the same.
They did not pick up my garbage for 3 weeks. They did not answer calls or return voicemails when I needed them to come. I finally reached a human and fired them-started service with another provider July 13. They are sending threatening notices about paying a bill for service I did not receive and dont want. Their cans are still in my alley waiting to be picked up a month later. Do NOT hire this company as they are completely worthless.

I just want to warn any new customers looking for service to avoid Waste Connections at all cost. For the last three months they have missed pick up after pick up. They wont anwser phones, respond to emails, or reply on social media. Im talking for weeks and weeks, no communication to listen to complaints, and no person to speak to in order to cancel services. I finally got ahold of someone, but only after the BBB was involved. I switched services a few weeks ago and the NEW co finally picked up all the old trash left behind by WC. And I STILL have the old bins from WC because they havent picked them up either. Its a mess and totally unprofessional. Waiting to see what my final bill from them looks like since they literally didnt come for a month.
I am a disabled widow, and I believe my driver is aware of this because he will occasionally bring my cans back up from the driveway. Very punctual and reliable service! Thank you!
One of the worst companies to get a hold of. I’ve been calling for the past 3 days and have left voicemails for a return call and still have not been contacted. Billing is bi-monthly, for trash only it’s $30 a month. I have switched to Infinite Disposal and if they service your area I highly recommend. They do referrals and they offer a 1 month credit for trash for both parties. Day 4 and I’m still waiting to be contacted by Waste Your Time Connections!
Another edit: After getting everything “fixed” weeks ago with this horrible company I get a bill for who knows what AND they have still not come for their can. This is over two months now of trying to drop this company. I really do not see how they are in business.Edit: After SIX WEEKS of calling and leaving voicemails and emailing I filed a complaint through BBB and WC called me within 2 hours. You can also leave a review with all of your experiences with this company on the BBB website.Original: I was with my trash service for 8+ years and then these turds took over with no notice or warning. Customer service either doesn’t answer or is super rude and unprofessional. There are sudden mysterious charges on my bill I can’t get explained because they won’t answer the phone. Now the company is blaming the customers for their poor management through the local news company. Good luck with that.
The switch over from springs waste was not done well. But the criticisms of the company are because people didnt understand or bother to go on the website and establish their account. We did that and have had absolutely no problems at all. Anybody whos having problems needs to establish an account with waste connections.
I have to echo nearly every comment made during the last several months about their terrible service and lack of recourse.I suggest those of us who have been affected report this not as poor service but as fraud as it is obviously a wide-spread issue across town.
Their billing practices are atrocious! I received a reminder that my bill was due an hour before I even received my bill vie email! And their prectice of giving only five days to pay a bill is crazy. Most trash companies give you until the first of the following month. They also don;t always pick up when they are supposed to. The weekend of the Fourth of July, they stated they were going to pick up the Friday befor the holiday instead of the Monday, then they picked up on the normal Monday. In the mean time, the whole neighborhood had their trash sitting out on the curb all weekend. Ever since They bought out Springs Waste, the service has gone down hill.
If you have ANY OTHER OPTION for trash and recycling pickup, use that instead. Ive been a customer of Springs Waste/Waste Connections for a year at this point, and they have managed to miss pickups 14 times. With 52 weeks in a year, that means they are missing pickups 26.9% of the time, or more frequently than 1 in 4!I have called after every single time they missed the pickups. They always make some new excuse (or worse, try to blame me for not putting out the cans, even though I personally put them out on-time, every time). I frankly waited way too long to write this review, but I figured each time that they would make a change and actually fix stuff so they pick it up consistently. After a year, I figure enough is enough. People need to know to avoid this company. Their poor service is an infuriating waste of everyones time.I only have one option for pickup since Im a renter and its managed through the property manager so Im stuck with it, but you dont have to be.Edit: Update 3 months later, and they still havent fixed this. Theyve missed 5 of the last 6 weeks, stuff is piling up, and they wont answer the phone or email. Ive ended up having to take stuff to the far side of town where the county drop off is. Oh, and no refunds. They continue to just take money for a service they dont perform. Time to beg the property manager to switch to a company that has a modicum of competency. Wish me luck!

Horrible horrible company. Didnt pick up trash for a month and never returned calls. I switched services and couldnt be happier. Stay far away from these guys if you want your trash picked up.
I use waste connections for recycling. They come every two weeks for that service, and yesterday they just didn’t show up. When I called customer service they had no idea that an entire neighborhood wasn’t serviced and couldn’t explain it. If this was my business I’d redirect a truck immediately or work overtime to ensure my customers were taken care of, their response...just hold onto it till your next scheduled pickup and we won’t charge you extra. If that’s what they call customer service I’ll be into other options.
