Let me say this. I just got my haircut by Russ. Im a barber myself for 37 years, so naturally, I can spot talent quickly. Russ is all that and more. Hell of a guy who is meticulous about his work. Great place to get your hair cut.

I had long hair for over 10 years and decided it was time for a change. In about mid April last year (2019) I went in and talked to Biff, who a friend recommended for me, and discussed getting my hair cut. Then about two weeks later I came back and it happened. I have never been so satisfied with a haircut in my life. It was hands down the best experience Ive ever had and now this is the only place I will go to get my hair cut. From how incredibly friendly the entire staff is to just how the atmosphere of the whole place feels is absolutely incredible. I wouldnt even worry about having to have someone else who works there cut my hair because Im sure the whole staff is as competent and accommodating as Biff is. Plus, theyre dog friendly! I dont believe it gets any better than Shears.

I’ve been living in the springs for about a year now; and as a member of the military, I need to have a good haircut every couple of weeks. The downside of all of that is finding the your “go to” when you move duty stations. After a year of searching, I have found my “go to”! Shears is fantastic! It has a very personable feel to it, and the barbers are absolute pros! Kiana is an amazing barber who will cut it exactly the way you want it! To my Army brethren, stay away from 15 dollar chop shops on B Street and on post, spend a little more for quality and get to Shears!!!

The staff is friendly but I was very disappointed by the actual cut. I had grown my hair out and it was past my shoulders. I wanted maybe several inches off. She ended up cutting probably close to 6. And it didnt even look good. Overall, a very disappointing experience when I had hoped it may become my new regular spot.

I am bald but have grown out a beard and highly recommend Biff for a beard trim. Hair cuts from fellas with hair looked solid as I was waiting. Prices are very affordable and atmosphere is awesome.

Very dissapointed. The cut was ok, but they were extremely unfriendly. Took my 9-year-old there. They barely spoke to him. He felt very uncomfortable, & when we left asked, Daddy, why are they so mean?

Shears is the best. The staff is super nice and really good at what they do. The place is clean and quiet and there is usually parking (metered) right out front. My only gripe is that they are cash only.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend!!! If I could give Shears 6 stars I would! I have been getting my hair cut here for over a year now and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Has an old-school Barbershop feeling to it and its never overly busy. I love the fact that its appointment only, so I can get in and out without having to wait very long.

I was visiting C Springs and was a walk in. Kiana gave me a relaxing and downright wonderful hot towel head/neck shave and beard trim. This being my standard grooming regimen for years, I have experienced a large number of barbers/shaves, and Kiana is right there among the best.

I have had Elizabeth cut my hair for the last 6 to 7 years and now I have added beard trims to that list. I leave after every visit looking fantastic without breaking the bank. The entire staff is friendly and the shop is very clean. I will continue visiting Shears for years to come.

They do a great job but keep increasing the prices. Make sure you call and as as the price on their website is out of date. I was told $25 on the phone for a normal cut.

Nice and friendly staff but if you have several colics (cowlicks) as I do, you will probably need to find a different place. I was directed towards Kianna after informing them of my colic situation and while I was optimistic at first, after rinsing and combing my hair later that day, the optimism left the room. The search continues for someone that knows how to cut hair with many colics in it...

Best haircuts and best value in all Colorado

Came in about 12:45pm and was told I couldnt be seen until 2pm. I said thatd be fine and went to do some reading at the library while I waited. Came back at 1:55pm and she started cutting someone elses hair (presumably the person booked before me)...waited 30 minutes and watched as someone *else* came in after me but was still taken in ahead of me. I just needed a quick, 10 minute haircut -- wasnt worth all that wasted time. When the time came to put more money in the meter I decided to just leave. I wont be back.

I was extremely disappointed with my hair cut since the person cutting my hair was in a serious rush and did not really focus on what I was asking. I asked for a trim, and she cut all my hair off. I also said that I wanted a fade, and yet she did not do that.

Been going exclusively here to get my haircut for 5ish years. The haircut kept me coming back, the rapport i built with my barber (and the haircuts) keeps me coming back. An indecisive person like me prefers to give a bit of creative space to the barber and I have yet to be disappointed. Straight razor + hot towel on the back of the neck sounds trivial, but its the small things in life that we forget about sometimes.Have you been going to a random stylist at some chain store your whole life because its what youve always done? Break out! Spend a few dollars extra one time and see if its worth it. Spoiler Alert: IT IS!
