I love TIGI!! I had nothing but bad experiences with hair salons for years until I started going to TIGI (formerly Toni & Guy). Downtown is wonderful, the Hairdressing Academy is also amazing. If you want to keep your length and have healthy growth, theyll do that for you. My daughters have mixed hair (African-American/European) and theyve helped me create a care plan for them as well that has been so helpful!

Put myself on the wait list for the day and was able to get an appointment same day. Christine made my hair look amazing. Going to have a great anniversary dinner

Alex cut my hair and fixed my at-home disaster of a bang trim. She took her time and was so meticulous. I never once felt as though she was rushed or not giving me her total attention. Cale is an exceptional barber. He provides an amazing men’s cut for my teenage son. Cale always trims and styles to perfection and is generous with his time and attention to detail.

Cale Loving was amazing!! I came in with a super vague idea of what I wanted that I couldn’t fully articulate. He talked me through ideas, gave me advice, and then produced exactly what I wanted without me even realizing it was what I wanted in the first place. Can’t recommend him enough- phenomenal service!

Lets just say that it was once in a lifetime experience. It might be because the hairstylist I had, had no clue of what he was doing or... He didnt had enough time planned for me. I paid a lot of money for a bad transformation. Such a bad thing I did not took a picture. I looked like I was flying on a broom around the world lol. Make sure you ask for pictures before you have someone play with your hair. There are some good stylists in there. I just had bad luck.

Holly was my stylist. She knew how to handle my thick course hair, when she finished my hair was silky smooth! She did a fantastic job. Only thing I would do different Id have her do my brows too!

The only reason why I gave this location 5 stars is because Esther saved the mess another hairstylist created here. When I first made my appointment, I asked for a balayage, and I went with the first available hairdresser since I didnt know anyone at this location -- that is where I went wrong. The person who did my hair the first time did such a poor job; it was brassy, not blended at all, and looked nothing like the picture that I showed him. So, I called the salon and was rescheduled to see Esther to fix the mess on my head (which unfortunately took another four hours, but that was obviously not her fault at all). Esther was verily WONDERFUL throughout the entire process! She gave me a beautifully blended blonde balayage that I actually LOVE! I cant recommend her enough! Please do yourself a favor and see her to avoid what I went through.

When you ask for “Ash BROWN balayage” & end up walking out brassy bleach blonde; far too upset to even ask them to fix it or argue about pricing. Which overall would’ve been fair if I liked my hair or was notified a trim would be as much as a normal haircut which is another $75 on top of $130 for color- like a generous fool I am I still gave a small tip for the wasted three hours of time but compared to what I was planning on tipping it was just a drop in the bucket. Overall the total (plus the tip) was $230 which I payed quickly just to get out of there (without crying in front of everyone).I told Jon Bravo that all I want is an ash BROWN balayage & minor trim (for the dead ends). I also didn’t want ANY brass because it clashes with my Asian skin tone & I didn’t want super light/white tips.......somehow I ended up with everything I specified I didn’t want. He did apologize for leaving the toner in too long hence the large amount of gray but I definitely won’t be coming back again anytime...ever. I have a lot of brassy splotches all over my head & some parts of my hair are completely white! Not to mention the green-ish gray that’s covering majority of my head!!!I hadn’t been to a salon in over ten years due to some awful experiences but this one definitely takes the cake!!!!! I thought if I had researched what I wanted & looked into a highly regarded salons that I thought I could trust, I’d get the hair style I’ve really wanted for some time but the joke was on me apparently.Trying to end on a positive note- the shop as a whole isn’t bad. They offer you drinks & are even willing to run to your parking meter for you so you don’t have to run out mid appointment. Everyone else seemed very happy, client & artists alike. The shop is very clean & the staff is fairly friendly.

Alex is the Best! She can handle curly hair which is an art! Also, Im very impressed with their new cleanliness routines.

Jeff cut my hair with such precision, and provided me with exactly what I wanted in a short layered bob. Oh yes, and he didnt cut my bangs too short! I had an amazing experience here. My downtown 2 hour parking was coming to an end and I was no where near finished with my appointment. An employee ran out and fed my meter for another 2 hours! She took great care to understand what I wanted and worked with me throughout the whole process. When my fastidiousness led to my parking meter running out they sent someone out to put quarters in the meter for me. Best haircut Ive ever had too.

Great hair day with Bea today. As a first time client, I was apprehensive about my visit. But I was greeted with a smile and from there my appointment only got better. Always had issues getting a proper cut (my hair is incredibly thin) but that was not a deterrent for the stylists here. The entire staff is friendly and sweet and make you feel right at home! A glass of wine also comes with it which is awesome

Myself and my little girl had haircuts by Esther and Alex. Both did an amazing job, best haircut weve ever had!! Alex knew exactly how to cut curly hair and my curls havent looked this great in years, if ever. And Esther did phenomenal listening to what we wanted for my daughters hair. Cant wait to go back for color. On a side note set aside some extra time for a cut, they really take their time to be exact, so the cuts usually run about an hour or so, which I was unaware of.

Very nice staff.Ive been going here since the downtown location opened. Theyve treated me great at every visit, even though I am a man with a really simple haircut.Pro-tip: they include 2 fringe cuts between full haircuts, these are free clean up cuts that dont take very long. This allows me to only have to actually pay for a haircut every 2.5 months or so without this getting too out of control and my fade still looking nice. Thats definitely something you dont get at a cheap hair salon.

I have been to salons all over the Denver and Colorado Springs area and this is far and away the best one I have had my hair styled at. The salon is located right on Tejon St. (right across from Jack Quinn’s) and has only been around for 2 years but the employees they have there are all top notch and are incredibly experienced with cut and color. If you’re not totally sure about a style or committed to a certain cut, the stylists will actually LISTEN to what you want done and bounce other ideas off of you. They provide great feedback and suggestions yet at the same time, don’t pressure you one way or the other. Your visit also entails a complimentary glass of wine which is just another plus to make you feel right at home. I haven’t had to wait an extended time for an appointment aside from the time they took to dedicate towards my hair. I’ve never had a more relaxed visit and will definitely be back.

I had Alex as my stylist and she was great! I went in for mainly a scalp/conditioning treatment with a slight desire to cut my hair much shorter. I have very long hair and havent had it cut short in probably 28 plus years. I told Alex my idea (and my hesitations) and she made me feel super comfortable with cutting it and her excitement to do the cut rubbed off on me and definitely put me at ease (hey cutting off a ton of hair is a big deal!) I would highly recommend Alex for your hair needs! Ill def be going back to her!

The salon is clean and well-kept. Didnt have to wait a second for my appointment and had a great cut. Typically would get it done at the Toni & Guy Briargate salon but its incredibly convenient having a salon of theirs downtown.

I was just able to have a walk-in haircut with Christine. The whole experience was excellent from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left.Christine was clever, approachable, and had a comforting personality. She also gave me a great haircut. For me, the experience is worth at least as much as the product, and Im very pleased with both.

I got my haircut and had a pleasant experience until the very end. I have naturally curly hair and the stylist used thinning shears on my hair. I was unaware that texturizing hair and thinning shears were the same thing. Can someone at the salon tell me how to recover from this as my curls are now frizzy and damaged.

Very friendly staff. Ihave been looking for a stylist ever since we moved to Colorado Springs. Bea did a great job cutting my hair, just the way I like it. She was very talkative and made the visit enjoyable. They even put a quarter in the meter for me! The only negative is their website assigns all these initials to their name and never explains what they mean. But otherwise a very pleasant experience.
