My car was towed due to a mistake where someone reported it as abandoned. I was treated very kindly by Officer Chris and Officer Adrian, who were very understanding that this was a mistake, and helped me out in a tough spot. They were empathetic to my situation, and went to special lengths to help me. It was an experience unlike any other towing experience I have heard of before- these guys view themselves as doing a public service for the city, and are not just out for profit like many towing companies. I am quite grateful to those gentleman for their assistance.

I had just been in a very traumatizing accident and went to the impound the following day to recover my totaled vehicle. I didnt know what to expect but once I arrived, I discovered the most amazing staff of people. Everyone who works at this place is so kind. They helped me through the whole process and gave me words of comfort that meant so much to me. You guys are the best. I will never forget all that you did for me.

If i could give zero, I would.Terrible service for DAYS! Website down, nobody answering phones....resulting in additional fees AFTER an illegal/improper tow/impound. Already had AAA on the way when CSPD decided to impound. Went in late Wednesday/early Thursday. Could have picked UP Thursday, but unable to reach someone on the phone until late Friday afternoon, right before closing with no way to get a tow in time. Closed Monday for holiday, fine. Just more revenue for them! Would not allow inventory of vehicle prior to tow out. Items missing from vehicle to include cash/change, a gift card in center console ($50 value) and other miscellaneous items that are inconsequential.

We didnt have to wait that long. The attendant was very nice. No one wants to have to come there but the staff made it better. If I had a complaint, it would be you cant reach them by phone.

Unfortunately my car was totaled in the accident but I was able to have a tow company meet me there and sold the car for $300 after signing the title over. Just make sure you have the title and a ID and of course there are fees associated with the impound but only about $30/day.

Many thanks to Alan Harmon and Ed Trujillo and their supervisor for helping my mom get her stolen trailer out of impound. They worked with us and helped problem solve so that she would get it back home.

Friendly staff for the most part except for a guy that works in there. He was kinda rude.

The clerks at the window are extremely impatient and they do not communicate well with the customers. Its as if they are judgemental, of why the vehicles in their lot are there. Its there but the owner of the vehicle is not the reason its in there. My suggestion is that they be more understanding and work on their communication skills.

If you ever want to get your car impounded this place Id recommend

They avoid all calls and emails. when you go in person they give you the run around. Took a POA in and was told it has to be on there form and they never told the insurance agent when they shared that they have received his messages but not once replied back with the POA form from them, thatThey say is the only form acceptable! They just want the people’s money for storage! Worst place ever to deal with! Don’t let them tie your car here if you have a choice!

I was in a car accident on 8/17 and my SUV was totalled so it was taken to impound and we couldnt get the rear door open to retrieve several items! Katelynn was awesome and crawled into the rear and handed everything to me!Katelynn showed extraordinary customer service!

Well for police impound lot the guy that helped us out was pretty nice, and got us in and out of there as quickly as possible. He even made sure that our vehicle would start before he headed back to his office. So, overall for a situation that could have really sucked it was pretty decent overage

The gentleman at the check in very helpful. I was in an accident and when he saw this he was even more polite. At least some part of this experience was decent.

Good luck if you have to get your car from here. I pray for your immortal soul. I dont mean what the city charges, which is bad enough. I mean the employees.This is the grumpiest, most unhelpful set of people Ive ever seen. Maybe its because the building looks like its a dingy jail cell and these poor folks need some sunshine. Or maybe a Dementor lives in the building. Actually, thats probably it, because you will leave feeling like you just lost a little bit of your soul.You will wait for a minimum of 15 minutes, even if no one else is there and no one looks busy. When you go back up to the window to check that they didnt forget you, you will get the glare that lets you know they just added 5 minutes to your wait time for daring to question them. Then they will go back to talking amongst themselves. It will not matter how friendly you are - they will be short, dismissive and rude. Apparently, you are interrupting them from whatever the hell it is they do otherwise.Honestly, they are probably the single biggest deterrent to stop illegal parking. The fees are bad - really bad. But once you survive an encounter with the employees, you will cross yourself and promise to never park in a loading zone again.

I was in a car accident a while ago and my car was totaled. The police had my car brought to the impound. Although I have never had my car impounded before, going there to get my things was a very easy process. I went in with my proof of ownership and I.D. and was able to collect my things without any problems. Overall considering the bad day of a bad accident this was a pleasant experience.

We sell used cars and every once in a while our customers we hold a lien on gets impounded. I wont go into details but getting your car back is a NIGHTMARE! The staff is nice and all but.....

Place has very strict rules and is not adaptive or caring for people personal matters. However the gentleman who handled my pickup was pleasant and helped a lot.

Yes its a small inconvenience to get back your impounded car but its to teach a lesson Im not choosing sides Im just saying your car was impounded for a reason right? You broke the law, or forgot to renew the registration or insurance, whatever the case the whole point to paying the fees and fines is to make sure you dont do it again. And yes some cases you didnt do anything wrong like someone hit your car and its undrivable so it was impounded, the state and or town still has laws and regulations to follow. If you want to blame someone for how difficult it is to get back your car, blame the person who drives down some road doing 120mph and smashes into a mini van killing an entire family in a car thats not registered or insured and the persons licence expired 5 years ago. So just remember, yes the process to getting back your car is a major pain in the rear and super time consuming, but its put in place for very good reasons.

My car was stolen they were very helpful and informative.

Had no problems getting my stolen car back, they called me n told me what paperwork they needed to release it to me, brought it n all was good (except my car dam thieves).

My sons car was stolen and after it was found by the police, Thank You So Much!!! And retrieving it was a good experience as well. Really nice staff!!

1 star for incompetence... starting Jan2019 impound auction is online only... group of us found that out after waiting for 1+ with no personnel, website is not up-to-date. Hopefully this saves someones Sat morning

They refused to file a police report in person, and wanted me to get on line. Then, the supervisor at the station was very rude, callede a liar, and even snapped at me, and wouldnt go out and file the report. I forget, who is paid to help who in this situation?

Slow service for having plenty of staff and only three people to help. Total wait time: 20 minutes.

I think its unfair to impound your vehicle when youve had an accident,and then they stick you with high towing and storage charges per day and then when you go get your stuff they only give you 15 minutes to get your stuff, talking about stress. Granted the employees deal with lots of riff raff they tend to be stand offish. Is it the badge they wear or us physco citizens.

They treated my AAA driver like a delinquent child and it really offended him. My AAA driver did absolutely nothing wrong yet he was treated like a criminal. My car was totaled by a drunk driver and I was taken to the hospital immediately after the accident so I couldnt choose where my car went.
