The manager keeps this place clean and free of major trash unlike a lot of places in the springs. He has a great attitude and customer service skills. And you can tell he genuinely enjoys people and he goes above and beyond. I don’t rent a storage unit here but I have seen the property and I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with the owner on several occasions when I had some questions, and when my dog went missing he was very gracious and took my number so I had to call me if he saw her, and he had suggestions as to where I could look for her that were quite helpful.

I stored my household goods in a 10x20 unit at American Storage for 14 months and I was always super happy I picked American Storage as my storage place. Easy access off the highway. The staff is very helpful and easy to work with. You have access to coffee, water, and a bathroom when the office is open. When I lost my keys, they cut the lock for me for a reasonable price, and they just always made things easy. I really appreciate the staff and management and highly recommend American Storage.

This is a great LOCAL self-storage business. Dan and the others in the office are helpful and courteous. This is my go-to place to get my propane tank refilled before I go out camping for the weekend.

By far the best storage Unit Facility that I have even used. I have used this storage facility for 5+years. They have ALWAYS been friendly, Caring, attentive and most of all have had the, “We do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do” attitude. The facility is safe, secure and managed extremely well. I receive updates to any changes, ideas, and discounts they have to offer, all the time. They offer bill pay online which is very convenient. They as well have propane to offer at a very reasonable cost. The facility is extremely clean and anyone whom store their property at the facility is like family. We all care equally for each other’s space by picking up after each other and even saying hello when passing. I can say that I can’t remember a time I actually gave a review for any company but was compelled to do so for American Storage and have sent a BBB REVIEW TOO. They have gone above and beyond for any and all of my needs. I will continue to use them and refer anyone who’s seeking a storage facility to them. 2019 has been a pretty rough year for my family.. havent been able to pay all our bills, this including the storage unit. Though we paid late ( a lot) this storage facility staff have been so nice! Great prices, good access and security. Been using them for several years now and have been satisfied. My rolling door came off the tracks and the maintenance staff was on top of the repair. I recommend using these guys and will continue using them for my storage needs.

They are very nice and easy to work with. Do automatic payment and I get a receipt every month. I got a discount for our service and they have cameras every where! We have used them for years.

Ill start by saying upon arrival the staff is friendly and welcoming. The units are new and vary in all sizes to fit your needs. They also store vehicles. No need to worry about anything as it is in a beautiful part of town and there is 24 he security.with that said this place and the people that run it are more than just a business they are a collective of wonderful people who truly care. When I fell on hard times they have never threatened my things or pushed for what I dont have.. they are always understanding and are more then willing to work with you in hardship. They understand that life happens and are willing to listen. My family fell upon hard times to the point I thought all was lost and without even knowing me as more then a customer they reached out a helping hand when there was nowhere else to turn. They opened there gates after hours to let my family get things we needed to stay warm when we fell victim to homelessness. Not only that but they put us in a warm place to stay and food in my childrens stomachs which helped us get on our feet and for these reasons I cant stress enough how imperative it is to do business with organizations like this! This is a place that truly cares and gives back to their community. My family is living proof! Its so important in this day in age to keep companies with these values and morals in our community forever. I recently stored a vehicle at American Storage. From the moment I walked in I had superb customer service. Their manager, Gray, was attentive and very personable. I rented units here for 19 years, was out of state for most of it and my stuff was watched over vigilantly. I had no problems and a good experience.

I have had a storage unit with American Storage for two years. Their location is conveniently located and the staff is always extremely friendly.

We had stored our camper and had a storage unit there for a while called to upgrade spoke with management they said they had the unit we wanted available I asked if I should pay now they said it wouldnt be a problem they could hold it till after I got off work I showed up after work they had rented it to somebody else there was no others available for the same cost but we could rent a more expensive one that was in climate control but we would prefer drive up sorry was said nothing else done to keep my business and the people who sold the camper to tried to call them for days and could not get a hold of them to rent the spot I had Taren I believe was her name lacks people skills and professionalism all the times before I had a really good experience the maintenance man is very nice and was always checking on everything due to a tight time schedule I wasted no time in moving to a different company the nice couple who bought the camper ended up there as well I hope they will not continue on this path it is a nice facility

Nice price for just the right size unit

Second time w/American Storage, clean facility, security gate, high ceiling units, and unique locks on the units. Over a year this time, and stuff stayed pretty dust free; that is good, but most importantly; even after all the downpour rains this year ( 2014 ), I could find *zero* evidence that any water ever got in the unit.If I need storage space again, Am Storage will be on the top of the choices.Thanks!

Outstanding customer service sets this place apart from rest, they went out of their way on the phone and in person to help look for ways to better their service with questions. Excellent location (not even a minute away from I-25 exit) and prices first attracted me, but because of staff they will get future business and referrals from me. This was the first place I called because of reviews, and ended up wasting time calling 8 other places which could not match the price when their one time set up fee is included. They offer active duty military discount as well as a one time coupon on their website.

Jessica, TJ, and Aneshia are awesome people, and provide great customer service. I have used them several times for both business, and personal. Recommend them for sure.

My Mother passed away last week and we realized as a family were going to need a storage because we were just not ready to decide what to do with all of her belongings. American Storage was easy to get to so we just ran over there. We had no idea what size we need we had so many questions, They were very helpful and to this group of four upset people they were so nice. They took time to listen to stories about our mom ( I am sure they had other things to do) we in no way felt rushed through the process. We rented a 10x10 climate controlled unit at good price and the 25 dollar move in for this month was helpful, the storage is very clean. I was very impressed with the customer service great job guys! I feel extremely disrespected. I have only been their customer since 8/13/18) So when i first contacted them to get a storage unit for business purposes it was because they are 24 hour access the lady I signed the contract with, her name is Taryn and she was very nice except she did not provide me a lock so i had to buy my own, no big deal right, well not even 1 day of moving in i was there maybe an hour getting some tools for work at 11pm and some guy on an ATV passed by me 5 times in 30 mins and the last time asked when i was leaving because he was tired and wanted to go to bed (im guessing he lived there) and i stated within 20 mins we have 24 hour access and he said 24 hour access does not mean u can live here for 24 hours a day like what? wow i then left and blew it off. Well the next night i had a customer need an auto rescue and i needed a certain tool it was 12:15am and i went to type in my key code and it said INVALID TIME The next day i called Taryn and asked her what was going on she then questioned that i was in fact a business since to have 24 hour access you must be a business she even went as far as asking me to bring her down a business card. At that point i was ready to bring down my LLC paperwork I felt disrespected. She called me a liar!I was thinking about just moving out at this point due to the 24 hour access i needed never working so I was a month late on the bill i decided I would talk to them about my 24 hour access, well I called to pay then my balance only at 20 days late this is what i get told by Taryn Okay, there was a situation with your lock (the same lock i had to buy) first she says due to billing issues we had to cut your lock so u will need a new one but then right after tells me that she was walking by and my lock must had not been latched fully and it was laying on the ground so she picked it up and threw it in the drawer (if that were true wouldnt you pick up the lock and latch it or maybe call the customer?) and didnt she say she had to cut it off which she legally couldnt do anyways? I then had to pay them 330 dollars and she finally offers me a lock since who knows what really happen to mine. Well i go to put the lock on and notice the type of lock she gave me could not go into the hole because there was no hole due to someone cutting a previous lock off. So I went to tell her about it and they were closed (20 mins before 5pm when they say they close) I then had to go buy ANOTHER LOCK leave my property unlocked to go buy the lock I came to bring her the lock that she gave me back the next day I parked right next to the office front door and was complete an estimate for a customer of mine. I was that parking spot for 5 min when i notice a fire truck behind my car I then heard a female say, thats her so i looked up and saw Taryn pointing at me when talking to the fire men they knocked on my window I stepped out of my car they asked me if i was okay and if i was under the influence of drugs or alcohol i said no why ? they said the lady called 911 I then told them how sorry i was that she wasted their time when I had only been there 5 mins and I was so embarrassed that this lady called 911 instead of in that 5 mins asking me her self if i was OK if she was really concerned she wasting the firemens time when they could have been helping someone who needed help. the next night i went to grab some tools and the gate said invalid time. LADY I GOT 24 HOUR ACCESS so i left a voicemail stating i will bring my business elsewhere if i do not get my 24 hour access it is costing me 100s of dollars by not being able to get these jobs done because i cant access my tools. . I want my things and im taking my money elsewhereUPDATE : OMG so they action off my storage unit right and my dad goes and bids on it for 30 but is and wins right. Well he grabs some stuff and then all of a sudden he calls them to pay the 100 dollar deposit and they say no u r related to the owner u cant do that and we are not giving u the 100 back or any of the stuff or the 30 buck. Lady u can bid on your own unit.

I always feel my trailer is secure at this very clean location.

IT WAS AFTER 6PM, MY WIFE CALL THE EMERG NUMBER----GREY ANSWERED---HE WAS AT HE GROCERY STORE---STOPPED WAHT HE WAS DOING, RAN BACK TO THE STORAGE LOT AND WORKED TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM. OFFERED ME HIS STORAGE UNIT, STILL COULDNE FIT, SO HE GAVE ME A SLOT OUTSIDE, SAID DONT WORRY, MY HELPER, DJ; WILL COVER YOUR STUFF, KEEP IT DRY AND WILL GUARANTEE IT WILL BE ALRIGHT. KEPT SAYING THAT THIS COMPANY WANTED TO BE KNOWN FOR THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE IN THE SPRINGS---THEY ARE!!!!!!!!WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY, ALL WAS DRY, ALL WAS CLEAN AND TAKEN CARE OF---GREY APOLOGIZED FOR THE MAKESHIFT COVER AS THE STORE WAS CLOSED AND HE COULD NOT BUY A BIGGER TARP---WHAT???? HE WAS GOING TO BUY A TARP TO COVER MY FURNITURE, IN A RENTED TRAILER???CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS FINEST---I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE FACILITY TO ANYONE WITHIN 100 MILES---ABSOLUTELY THE BEST AND MOST CUSTOMER ORIENTED ORGANIZATION I HAVE EVER DELT WITH.

Best storage facility around!! My husband and I lived in Fountain, received orders to deploy, and needed a place to store items that we would need just before and right after we returned. I did thorough research of storage units around Colorado Springs/Fountain and this is by far the best. If you live in the southern part of Colorado Springs or in Fountain it is definitely worth the drive. The management was excellent in working with us after we returned from the deployment and very attentive to his customers!!..........We had the 10 x 30 unit ( width x depth ).......Fit 2 vehicles (camero & Nissan XTerra) side by side with enough space to get to the back and in/out vehicles. Also had plenty of extra room for storage of household items and room to spare. ........24hr access, GREAT service from the staff, very clean facilities with coated flooring, military discount, e-billing was always on time, great price, easy access off of I-25, well lit........I recommend this facility and will always use this company in the future!!
