This church is amazing. The festival in August has the best food and is by far the most family friendly festival in Cleveland. The fish fry for Lent is truly a treat that words cant describe. When food is involved, hands down the best in the area. I cannot forget about the people who make this church what it is. I am not Romanian, but when you come here they treat you like you are one of there own. I highly recommend you give this wonderful place a try.

Absolutely Love this Festival. It is a family tradition, we go opening night and then either Sat or Sunday. Love the food, the music and the Romanian Culture. The food, and gifts are very reasonable priced. Been a family tradition for 14 years.

I came here with my boyfriend while we were visiting from canada. we wanted to see the inside of the church but we didn’t think we would be allowed to.. but surprisingly we were! mihaela took us on an amazing tour of not only the church but the little museum inside as well. she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. i’m romanian and it’s so amazing to see such a huge sense of community still alive today :) we were going to return the next day to buy some items from the gift shop but unfortunately we didn’t have time. i will most definitely be visiting this church next time we are in cleveland.

A beautiful Romanian Orthodox church in the West Park area of Cleveland that features architecture from Maramures (north central Romania), with beautiful iconography inside the church in the nave, as well as beautiful stain glass tiles.

We have been attending the Lenten fish fries for many years. There is a nice selection of fishes and sides. We have met many nice people sitting at the family style tables. The service is always friendly and accommodating.

A beautiful church filled with gorgeous floor to ceiling Byzantine iconography. The priest is a gifted preacher and pastor, and a wonderful liturgist. The singing and preaching is great at this parish. The Orthodox Church is definitely the place where we know not whether we are on Earth or in heaven, and this parish is that experience par excellence.

Awesome fish fry, fresh fish, family atmosphere

Food is excellent. The chicken stew is delicious. I also had the fresh sausage and chicken schnitzel, which were also very good.

The food was great! It was a rather long wait for the food but I have to believe it was because of their appearance on Good Morning Cleveland. There were so many people!!

Beautiful cathedral & we go to their Romanian festival every year in August. We love mamaliga and meat tete.

I am a member of St Marys Romanian Orthodox of which I love through my. This coming Sunday on February 2nd 20/20 our service will be conducted Vicar Bishop of Cleveland along with father Grams our parish priest and other hierarchs of our episcopate etc

A beautiful church with a rich history. The annual festival offers great food and a wonderful opportunity to meet people and learn about a different culture. People are friendly and fun to be with.

Food was very good and no buffet line. All food was brought to your table. Choice of pike, whitefish or shrimp. Very large crowds throughout the allotted time.

Its so tasty. the staff was very friendly and attentive. this place has a nice feel to it.

Best Lenten fish fry!! All home made----not greesy at all, I always get Mac and cheese and cabbage and noodles for my sides, yum! Even the bread is delicious, someone told me its from The Breadsmiths bakery, it sure is good----oh yes and beautifully yummy deserts!!!

Great food at Lent with their Fish Fry, and a go to for my wife and 4 kids on Fridays..the congregation and parishioners, well...not too impressive. Not friendly or welcoming, from getting soft drink tix to the hosts, just not a place I would go to worship, in any language... but they got my money, and isnt that what its all about anyways.

Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldnt stop. The service was very helpful and observant.

The bill was fair I would say. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.
