Got a full set and a pedicure for my daughter and I, and they did a wonderful job and I will definitely be returning.

Great walk in service. Always friendly and do a professional job. Always get the French manicure with gel and it lasts for well over a month!

This is a nice place to come if you’re in a rush and just need something done so you don’t look like you don’t keep yourself up. However for the routine pamperers who pay attention to detail it might be wise to look elsewhere. But if you’re not doing any foot photo shoots anytime soon this place will do. They don’t buff your feet so if you’re callused make sure you ask specifically for that. My friend and I both went here together and we both feel they just did an OK job. The staff was super nice

I enjoy going and being pampered at California Nails of Beachwood. The atmosphere is so pleasant and warm. And the work is excellent always happy when I leave.

Horrible customer customer and horrible work. I have natural long nails. Never had any nail breaks within years. I survived the shutdown last year with all nails fully in place. Just needed a fill bad. Someone referred them to me and it was the worst thing I could’ve EVER done. My pedicure was poorly done. I’ve lost 2 nails which broke down to the nail bed. Have nails lifting up. Also others are splitting across in the lower nail bed. When I called I was told that it was nothing they could do because three days had passed. I spent over $100+. Will not recommend and refused to spend another dollar with them. I called yesterday at 12:42p

My big toe may have an infection got my toes done while on vacation in Cleveland for me to wear big house shoes my entire trip. My toe is is bruised and now has pus coming out the side a week later. I will be going to the ER tomorrow and I will be asking for a refund. Never showed my toes too embarrassed how I go to get my feet done and leave out in worse condition than I came in. I am scared my toe has an infection.

Omg best place ever! I love coming here I’m always satisfied when I leave. I wish I can get an appointment with Kathy she is the best and I love my nails long she seems to be the only person that does them exactly how I like it.

They are expensive for no reason! I got a fill in and change of polish for $108. Just for gel polish it cost $35 not even including the acrylic. They have been increasing their prices every week without notifying, and they over book just to be crowded and have people wait for a long time

We was there almost 2 hours for a pedicure. I understand it’s a pandemic. But I spent 200 dollars in this establishment, we was there till closing time. At the end I asked if I could use the restroom and the lady gave me a nasty look and told me they didn’t have one. Will never spend my money here again

I did not like my service because for 1, the nail tech was on a video call while doing my nails, 2, He did a VERY POOR JOB on my nails, 3, they failed to tell me that they were ONLY doing Gel polish, NO REGULAR polish at all when I walked in, no sign nothing.I really believe that all nail techs should be on the same level of performance. My daughter and I received the same nail shape, but hers looked professional and mine look like a true beginner had did my nails.. I will NEVER go back☹🙁

Ask for Nate if you’re getting a pedicure. He fixed my toes after I didn’t like the job the first lady did. He is the best! They looked fantastic after he got done with them!

They have tons of people working for pedicures and manicures. We got in for 3 pedis no waiting. And they did a feat jib and stayed open late for us

I live 2 hours away from the Beachwood Mall, so I came in to this place with my Aunt unplanned. I walked in, requested my manicure and was quickly seated and given my choice of dip nails to choose from. As I was choosing, I requested an ombré look and possibly a design on my manicure and I was told that the lady that will be doing my nails does not know how to do that. (Which later I realized that half the store is new and don’t know what they are doing). I agreed for a simple two color nail design since the price was fair, $38, and I requested tips to be added. After hastily buffing, clipping and filing my nails she proceeded to grab the dip powder. She was speeding through the whole process as if she was on a tight schedule. (My aunt was done with her manicure at this point and she left to shop around) I stopped her trying to tell her that I requested tips to be added. The lady got up with the biggest attitude to get the box for the nail tips. She glued my nail tips on terribly, half of the nail tips didn’t match my finger size, and parts of my nail where showing on the sides. I decided upon a shorter length this time and she clipped down my nail at a good length. I asked for an almond shape but she did not shape my nails before dipping them. She went through the dipping part fairly well for a beginner only missing one spot, but she used the wrong powder for the sparkle dip I had on my two ring fingers, resulting in blotches of cloudiness on the nails. When she was done with dipping and layering the manager came over to “fix” my nails. She RUSHED over, GRABBED my hands and Clipped them off while STANDING over the table and taking to three other people. (Which were all her pupils PRAISING her and saying things like “The pro is in the house”) She didn’t even take a breath to look at my nail shape and my hands to see how she should clip them! I, seemingly uncomfortable, tried to point out that she botched my nail shape - which still Standing over me she responded with “you wanted almond shape right?!?” I decided to not pick a fight and set a mental note for my self to ask for a longer nail from the start. I pointed out the spot that the previous nail tech missed and SHE literally ASKED me “do you want me to re - dip your nail?!” Like no, OBVIOUSLY I want a bad manicure so I’m going to point out a mistake that your pupil made because I’m paying money for this and I DON’T want it fixed. At this point, the manager was giving me a nasty attitude and I overheard her mumbling sarcastically that she “doesn’t know what she is doing”. The manager finished my manicure and barked directions for how long they needed to dry. I was so upset and disappointed with my manicure I should’ve not payed but I was to anxious not to. They charged me $48.60 which is ten dollars more than the original price. I was so upset I just wanted to get out of there, so I payed and left the salon. I later realized that the job was done even poorly than I thought with half of my nails having a gap between my actual nail. I walked in asking to speak to the manager telling her about the poor job which she responded with “oh, I did not see that, if I did it would’ve been fixed”. So I asked for a refund, to which she responded it’s not their policy to give refunds. So the receptionist upon instruction, gave me a slip of paper as “credit”.Credit, to drive 2 hours to a salon with the WORST customer service I’ve EVER experienced, to re - botch my nails :)

Kathy is the best, she has done my nails for years, Nate rocks at pedicures. I always let him pick my colors and I always get many compliments on my pedicures and my manicures.

Over charged for the services on top of being there over an hour! After waiting for so long I was told I couldn’t use their rest room. But I was charged 200 dollars for my and my daughters services and didn’t receive a complimentary damn thing

Kathy is amazing!! She is fast and thorough. She also has a pleasant attitude. Little pricey but you get what you pay for!

Went in for pedi. Not expecting the great work because most places are lousy, but the woman who worked on my feet did an amazing job. She took her time and made sure she did a good job. Also the other staff seemed very friendly and nice. Will definitely get my business in the future.

My experience was quick a little rude they were very persistent for u to get gel when I said I wanted reg polish they made a comment like no one gets regular polish no more ... but if its my preference and Im paying just do it. I asked for my nails to be short so I assumed that they were but by the time I left I paid over 80 dollars for regular polish and a pedi no nail art nor designs I shouldve waited for my regular nail tech my first visit there and its safe to say I wont be back... disappointed 😞

Great Atmosphere! But, the paint job isn’t the best and my nails are THICK from the side angle. They worked very quickly.... and it shows.

I had an appt at 10:00am I was prompt at 10:00 for my appt, the light were out, door was locked and no one was there. At 10:06 I called hoping calls would be transferred to a cell phone and I could speak with someone. The hours posted on the door said Monday open 10:30. I waited til 10:15 no one arrived doors are still locked lights out. So I walked around the mall to kill time till they opened. I arrive back at 10:30 employees were in the back didn’t come to the front of the store til 10:35. Kathy(owner) came to the front I let her know I had an appt and had been there since 10:00. She said she arrived at 10:10 which is unacceptable if my appt was at 10:00 And didn’t call to let me know she would be running behind. Told me she couldn’t take me she had another client. She was very unprofessional and provided absolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Kathy (owner) never apologized for being late had the nerve to ask me where have I been all this time. I arrived on time for my 10:00 appt she was LATE! She didn’t arrive until after 10:15 which is when I left. I would never patronize this business and will deter anyone else from doing so. I know a lot of people and have a great client base and have clients that gets serviced here and they will not be returning. I have my own business and I know how providing excellent/poor customer service can impact a business.

Honestly I enjoy this nail shop. I stopped going for a while and started doing my own nails because I have a hectic schedule making it hard to schedule an appointment with them. Whenever I am able to call ahead or set an appointment this is the first place I choose. Nate is fantastic with pedicures. I believe its Kathy who is really good with acrylics, she’s fast normally, when shes not in a talking mood :-)

Very courteous kind and patient staff. I traveled here from Pa due to the nails shops being closed in my city and this is one of the best nail salons in Cleveland.

Went in yesterday and loved the atmosphere of this place! Everyone at the front was incredibly nice, they helped me choose a color and i was sat right away. The older man that did my nails did an amazing job, and was very pleasant. Will be returning!

I got a gel manicure and a toe polish change. The nail technician was extremely skimpy with the gel polish to the point where the front edges of my nails are even missing polish in some areas. The edges of my nails also feel rough and undone. I have never had a gel manicure feel so thin on my nails before. I doubt it will even last a week. My toenail polish was done with regular polish it is patchy and already looks grown out because he did not go near the cuticle with the polish. Also, when you Google the salon and click website off of the Google search result it takes you to a California Nails website that apparently is not theirs and has different and much cheaper prices. I was expecting to pay $31 for my gel manicure and $10 for the polish change and when I went to check out they told me it was $40 for the manicure and $15 for the polish change plus tax. That was a big difference from the website that was linked to their specific location on Google. They said they were aware of the website, they have not fixed it and yet would still not honor the cheaper prices. This is one salon I will never return to. Poor customer service in general.

I have tried on multiple occasions to get services here and I am not kidding EVERY SINGLE TIME the staff is always in a hurry and more concerned with letting you know when they are taking the last client. This last time I called over the phone I was told the last client will be taken at 3 I arrived at 2pm. I was then told that I could sign up BUT it would be an hour and a half wait and it was no guarantee I would even get service.I counted it may have been 3 customers at that time. I give no stars only had to put the one you see up to even give an review. I WILL NEVER AGAIN ATTEMPT TO SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY WHERE IT IS NOT WANTED AGIAN. I assume you would have to be there when they opened up to get service.

This is my first time at this place and the experience as far as the technician could have been better. He said his name is Chase. I came in to get my nails repainted and gel polish removed. The wait wasnt too long but as I sat to get my natural nails clipped and polished, Chase proceeded to tell me that my nails are all over the place. I ignored this first insult then as he painted my nails, I was getting ready to put my hand under the light and he rudely asked me not to move and that hell move the light for me. Im thinking I did not know that hed move the light for me so then, I was scared to even move my hand or do anything else wrong (in his eyes) somehow the light beeped while my other hand was drying in it and he said to me Whats your problem?! And I still didnt say anything until after he gave me a look, I finally said I dont see what the big issue is. In the beginning I did tell him that this was my first time getting gel nails removed and yet he was still being mean and rude to me. I didnt like the way he made me feel as a customer and a First time customer at that. I should have told the manager but for peace sake I didnt. I just wanted to go. I left upset and uncomfortable at the same time.

If I could give zero stars I would. I got a fill in with gel polish and it started to chip at the sides the next day. I went back a few days later to get it repaired and the nail tech tried to make me pay to fix his mistakes. He was extremely rude and unprofessional the entire time. After getting it fixed the polished chipped again later that day. Don’t waste your time or money here!

I made an appointment to get my nails a few days in advance for my birthday. I arrived promptly for my appointment but was asked to leave because they were busy.

The owner kathy is awesome. No one does nailsbetter. She is creating an empire. Owns 5 salons.

California Nails is by far the best nail salon I have been to. The staff are very polite and welcoming. Makia, my nail technician, did a fabulous job on my nails and I will definitely be back to see her!

Out off all the nail shops I’ve been to California nails is best experience I’ve had EVERY time I step into the spa to receive service . They make sure from the time I walk in to the time I leave that I’m happy and satisfied Makia is my nail technician and I recommend her to everyone I meet. I receive compliments on my nails everywhere I go. I give this nail spa FIVE STARS!!

If you are looking for a relaxing place to get your nails done this isnt the place. I popped in for a manicure and gel polish change and it wasnt pretty. The gel polish is already peeling off and it has only been 5 days. I guess I could go back and have my nails fixed but its not worth it. Just beware before you waste your money.

Over priced paid! I paid $30 just for nails to be polished no manicure was included. No music, no TVs, the tech hardly spoke to me. Nice clean neat work. Nice place but over priced.

I walked in at 7:05 for a gel manicure. One of the nail technicians yelled from the back “what are you doing here”. The nail technician next to him began to laugh at the comment. The two were extremely rude and unwelcoming! I left shortly after due to the first nail technician’s tone when asking what color I wanted. I will NEVER come to this salon again! The workers are unprofessional and this establishment should not be in Beachwood mall! If I could give 0 stars I would!

Went in asking if they had availability, the guy at the desk said it would be a 25 minute wait and said he’d call when someone is ready for me and to grab a drink, waited at the mall for an hour, no call. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I got my feet and hands done by two different people had to keep coming back not a problem but when I got my hands done the girl was unprofessional she had a very bad attitude she paid more attention to her phone arguing with somebody then my nails my nails were cut uneven I asked questions I got smart remarks I wanted my nails a certain way couldnt get it completed I told the manager I was unsatisfied with my service she didnt care neither she just rushed me to pay and out the store

I cannot believe the experience I just had. Zero greeting when I walked in. I was told to sit down and someone would be with me and they pointed to whom would be helping me. She was proceeding to chit chat with coworker for ten minutes and I sat there. She finally comes over and then hands me off to a gentleman with zero personality who barely spoke to me the entire time. I wasnt given lotion at the end and the staff all wears sweat pants and look like they rolled out of bed. Go ANYWHERE else but here. Dont waste your hard earned money. I usually go to Anthony Vince across the street but with the rain I decided to run errands and then go here - mistake!

Got a fill in and and two nails fixed and the new nails already came off before my old ones. And she cut two of my fingers. Been once and never going back.
