I moved to Cleveland a little over a year ago and have been looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop. I tried Mikes Service given the great reviews and I couldnt be happier that I found them. Howard talked me out of more costly services I thought I needed, he inspected a part of my car that I worked on personally to ensure it was done correctly at no additional cost, and the service was fantastic. I wont be going anywhere else.

I had an oil change and safety inspection at another Cleveland repair shop. After I left this first shop, I started to hear a terrible noise like a whirring sound under my front tire. When I brought the car back to the first shop, they said that I would need to spend $400+ on a new front wheel bearing. I brought my car to Mikes Service, and he quickly identified the problem being that the previous shop forgot to tighten my lug nuts on one of the front wheels after the safety check. Thank you to Mikes Service for valuing my life and safety, and for saving me $400 dollars on a repair.

Honest and straight-forward service. This is the kind of shop where they will tell you what needs to be fixed and what doesn’t. They will also tell you when it’s time to walk away.I took my car to another shop in the area when my car didn’t pass e-check. After $600, the car still wouldn’t pass. This shop gave me straight-forward advice and the e-check fix was just a gas cap.

The first thing to know about Howard (Mikes son, who operates the shop now) is that hes an honest mechanic. You wont go in for a battery and come out with new brakes and shocks. Many years ago my Pontiac (remember those?) was spewing white smoke. Another shop told me I needed a new engine. Someone recommended Mikes service for another opinion. Howard knew immediately I had a bad oil pressure sending unit (as I recall that was the part and it was about a $60 repair.) He had me on my way in a day and Ive been going back ever since. Howard will tell you whats wrong and give you a fair price to fix you car.
