Really great experience. Communicated very well - provided exactly what needed to be done, and carried out the work very quickly - my car was done the same day. Everything came out great.I liked the customer experience - the inspection results website was cool. And having both a key drop AND a lock-box for picking up the car after hours - totally great. Its amazing to me that other shops dont have this.Ken was personable and professional, was not at all condescending (again, not always the case at other shops), and I think he did great work.Ill likely be back for other work!

I have read the reviews for Masterworks and I was having problems with my 2014 Nissan Maxima.My Navigation screen kept coming on and off randomly.I took my car back to the dealer and they wanted a lot of money to fix the issue so, I wasnt willing to pay that amount of money to get that screen fixed which controlled everything in my car as far as the heat, air radio, and the backup camera. Everything !I was looking for another place to get a second opinion and I stumbled upon Masterworks Automotive & Transmission.I read the reviews and I said this would be a good place to take it and have them diagnose my car.TURNS out that was the best decision I could have ever made !I took my car there and they did an overall check on the car they called me periodically to let me know what was going on, Quoted me a price.They wasnt satisfied with that price so they checked around until they found me the unit I needed for my car and they put that in for me.AND the price that initially quoted me was CUT IN HALF !!!I was TOTALLY SHOCKED !LITERALLY AMAZED !I mean WHAT MECHANIC SHOP DO YOU KNOW that Calls you back AND gives you a price thats...... $1,000.00 CHEAPER than what they had initially QUOTED YOU !I am telling everyone I know.FIRST TIME I ever experienced Anything like this.I Am just VERY HAPPY with the outcome.They really do deserve the five stars !Im literally shocked and very 😊 Happy !

I really loved everything about this place. They found the clunky sound that other repair shops couldnt be bothered with. They called to tell me that one of the services I requested was NOT needed. Thats right - not needed. Ken, who I dealt with most of the day, was both funny and professional. I am so glad I found a place that I feel comfortable with!

Needed a new starter installed. Since I though I could do the work myself, I know what the parts cost and how long this should take. My only DIY problem is that the car had to be on a lift to do the repair. MasterWorks did the work in an hour, and for a great price.MasterWorks is busy, there is a reason! I have personally replaced brake pads and rotors, shocks & springs, coolant reservoir, wiper motor, plugs & wires, I hate having to take my car to a garage. I did not feel bad after paying for my recent experience with MasterWorks.

Words cannot begin to describe how happy I am with my service at MasterWorks! My tire had blown out after I hit a curb and wasn’t able to pull off the tire after removing the lug nuts. As I headed to a gas station to try and put air in the flattened tire, I noticed their shop. I pulled in and walked in and explained my situation clearly panicked. The workers there were able to help me out and were all very professional. The lobby area is very clean and accommodating. I will not forget my experience here at MasterWorks and I’d recommend this place to anyone!

All around amazing service! My car was done in one day and they gave me a loaner car to get to work. The service I had done was less than half the price of the quote from the dealership! I will definitely be using them again.

I am very impressed with the repair and fast turnaround time of Masterworks! The repair shop replaced my transmission at a price that was 20% less than the car dealership. They also completed in two days, and provided me with a loaner while they were fixing my vehicle - something the dealership did not offer. I am also impressed with the online database they provide that allows me to view service history and schedule appointments. This was my first time visiting and using the shop, but theyve earned a repeat customer. I will be going back as I need more work done.

Cant say enough about MasterWorks. I came into town worried about a check engine light that came on as we were driving to Cleveland. Everyone on the phone and at the shop were polite and took time to explain what was going on with the check engine light. Wish we had a MasterWorks in St. Louis so I could recommend them to all my neighbors.

I had a bad alternator and battery and with the help of masterworks they were able to replace everything fast and efficient and I will be using them again for anything on my car. They are also very friendly and willing to work with you if you need time.

I was impressed because I had gotten a quote from Ford before them and Masterwoks charged me less than half of what Ford would have charged for the same service. And they were very professional and easy to talk to. Ken was a great help at putting me at ease.

Professional, thorough, and helpful. Brought in a high mileage SUV with a dead battery but didnt want to just get a new battery in case more things were wrong. Sure enough there were more things but the staff was honest and thorough in their work and they tried very hard to make it affordable but at the end of the day the SUV wasnt worth it. Would recommend to anyone in the area to use them for all their auto needs.

Service was good and quick. They seem knowledgeable and reliable. It’s important however that customers know they close at 3pm on Friday. If you haven’t made arrangements (and miss their call because you’re busy at work) it’s possible you won’t be able to get your car back until the following Monday.

Loose exhaust ... no problem!Needed to have someone look at welding my Subaru’s new exhaust pipe. Ken’s inspection showed the pipes only needed a better clamp. With eight years on the car and 85K miles they did an engine flush at my request and a LOF. All was done well and at a reasonable cost. Enjoyed the overall environment and conversation

There replaced my transmission in my kia sportage under 2nd warranty, the warranty people were trying to put a used transmission in my car, even though my warranty covers a rebuilt unit these guys wouldnt let that happen, they took great care of my car went above and beyond they stayed late to get my car ready quickly and back on the road.. This was my first experience having one of our vehicles serviced at Masterworks. The process was unique in the best way in comparison to what I have experienced at typical dealerships over the years. Their was such a sense of honest no matter what customer service. This was a very welcome and pleasant surprise. I am now committed to having Masterworks manage the scheduled maintenance for all of my vehicles. By the way - the scheduling, vehicle drop off, automated billing and pick up are super convenient as well.

After a terrible (and dangerous) experience at a dealership.. Masterworks Automative is the only place I will take my car. They are transparent, thorough, and extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. The first time I came in they gave me a loaner car for the weekend. Went to MasterWorks Automotive for my e-check. I waited briefly in the pleasant waiting room as my car was driven from the parking space to be checked. The owner noticed that my tire pressure was low and explained how cold weather affects the pressure and the tires. He answered all my questions, demonstrated how to use the shop’s state of the art air machine (digital read out lets you set PSI for automatic shut off), and encouraged me to come back anytime 24/7 to keep my tires in good shape. He went above and beyond in a respectful, professional, and friendly way.

This place is AWESOME! I called about service one day and they had me in and out the next day! They were very well priced, free 2 yr warranty included, very generous, and very fast. The best part was, all I had to do was drop my key off in a provided envelope and put it in their drop box. Good on safety with Covid. AND. When they were finished with the [free] diagnostic, I received a text/email to a link showing me my entire car inspection with pictures and descriptions included, so I knew exactly what condition my car was in! I would recommend them to anyone! 👍🏼😊

I just drove my car in this snow tonight since Getting my snow tires on last week, and it was the first time my car Felt sturdy and safe to drive in many years! They did an incredible job. And the customer service on the phone, and in person, was incredibly friendly and patient and welcoming. They did a wheel alignment and found some other things that needed to be fixed, and my car feels so much different to drive in the best way. From start to finish the experience was incredibly positive. I will be going back again.

I brought my car in for an E-Check. I was glad there was one near me. I was greeted shortly after entering and told I would be next. The owner invited me to sit in their clean, pleasant waiting area and enjoy a snack or beverage on them. When it was my turn he took my car to the bay and said it would take 5 minutes. My car passed, but if it hadn’t I may have felt comfortable enough to have them make the repair because of the professionalism he showed.

Masterworks promised to figure out what was wrong with our daughters car not starting and they did just that. They went above and beyond to give her a ride back to her college after dropping her car off. We were so lucky to find a business that really cares about their customers. Just picked up my van with another great experience at Masterworks. I know it sounds simple but its great that they have features and services that many places dont have.I dropped off my van during a holiday and used the after hours drop box.Im able to communicate and get updates via texts which is great especially since while my vehicle was there I realized that I was due for an e-check so I texted in and (Im not sure when it started but) they do e-checks as well!I felt that I was treated fairly the whole time and they only did the work that was necessary.

I came in for an e-check. I was late getting it (as usual), and they not only fit me in, but I was in and out in about 45 minutes.I have driven by their shop many times, never really paying much attention. The shop is beautiful inside, very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and took care of me quickly. I also watched them with all of the other customers that came in, they treated them exactly the same.

Just last week one of my tires was leaking, it’s a slow leak. One of the Masterworks staff members came out and checked all of the tire pressures for me. Sure enough, one was very low. He then filled my tire for me. I appreciated this during the COVID-19 time since I did not have to touch a thing. Instead of trying to encourage me to have them repair or fix the slow leak, it was agreed that I should return to the place where I bought the tires. I was very impressed with their helpfulness. And this is true every time I have had to take my car in for routine maintenance, oil changes, or when I needed new wheel bearings.

Had a great experience here. They worked with my extended warranty to get my daughters car repaired. They were very helpful in answering all the questions we had (we had a ton!). They were very diligent in making sure the car was safe for my daughter to drive. I will definitely do business with them again!

Great experience with a first visit! Had a pretty simple request but it was handled relatively quickly and I was kept updated throughout the process. Not the most inexpensive place, but you get what you pay for! I plan to come again for any future repairs.

I thought I loved MasterWorks before. Since their remodel theyve worked hard to make everything about their experience more user friendly and professional. Its beautiful. Theres a calm place to sit and grab a coffee. Theyre thorough in their investigation of car-work and clear in their explanations. Theyre patient in their timeline and quick in their work.

Very friendly very fast very affordable real good shop

Its ok..I understand and appreciate the safety precautions installed here due to Covid, but it would be nice to be able to talk to a person face to face regarding the issues/possible work to be done on my car. Dropped my car off today and dropped my key in a slot and basically left my car with no communication with the mechanic. Well see how this goes and I will give an update and hopefully an upgrade to the stars!Update - if there were a way to give them 4.5 stars I would. The gentleman Ken, who I dealt with was a very kind man and kept me in tune what was going on with my car. The pros of this business are that they will get your work done fast. They do a very in depth analysis of your vehicles overall health and they have a very high-tech overview system to show you what is going on with your car, including pictures and an explanation of problems and what the solutions are. My only con, and the reason that I cant give them a 5 is that they are very expensive. I had several things wrong with my car, some major, some minor. Some of the items that they suggested be taken care of and the cost to do them were a bit outrageous to me. An in engine air filter and in cabin air filter costs about 25.00 combined, they wanted 30 bucks apiece! With fees, labor and tax, it would have been over 100 bucks for a job that takes 10 minutes. They also wanted over 400 to change my spark plugs, I got that done for 289, plus tax at another mechanic. This mechanic seems to severely upcharge on parts. Just my opinion. Overall, if money was no object, Id feel very comfortable with using these guys for my auto repair needs, they are knowledgeable and have a nice clean business.
