Very good personal experience overall. I was happy with my trade in and the speed at which they helped me. Even one of the sales guys chatted with me about cars while I waited even though he wasnt making a sale. They seem to have good comeodory amongst each other and were very in tune with each other and what was going on with each customer. I cannot speak how they deal with selling cars and if they fairly price their vehicles as they were only buying mine.
If I could give them 6 STARS…I would! Excellent excellent service that has renewed my faith in dealership service departments! My Mom (who is elderly) brought her car up there after having a less than favorable experience at another shop (who said she needed a new engine—nope). They told her EXACTLY what she needed, priced the work honestly, and kept me in the know as I am on the West Coast. I work for another manufacturer, and I am thrilled to know that there are still good people left in the auto business…and a few of them are at FOUNDATION HONDA. Special thanks to Georgiann and Derron! Outstanding!
If I could have given 6 stars I would have. I had the pleasure of dealing with General Manager Delano Palmer. Great, honest guy. Very hard to find that nowadays, especially with dealerships experiencing fierce competition due to the shortage of vehicles and the laws of supply and demand.Delano was always available for consultation and always called back as he promised. I am from Buffalo, but if I lived in Ohio anywhere near Cleveland Heights, Foundation Honda would DEFINITELY be my car dealer of choice. First impressions mean a lot to me! Give Foundation Honda the opportunity and you will not be disappointed!
Had a great experience at Foundation Honda today. I was returning splash guards that I purchased from there for my Honda Accord that I was planning on installing my self but decided against doe to not having the right tools to get the job done. I am thankful to Jayson G., Parts and Service Director, for offering to have one of his technicians install them for me. Many thanks to Carlos R. for doing a great job and getting it done while I waited. Great service!
MAKE SURE you ask upfront about all costs associated with the services you want to get today. Got quoted for a routine oil change/tire rotation and asked them to take a look at brake pads/rotors while doing it. Hit with a 70 dollar inspection fee that I was never told about.Hard to be pleased with good work when bad tactics like this happen.
Service Director (Jayson) Listens To The Feedback!I personally had a bad service experience along with the recommendations. I was not a very happy customer when I left the service center. I moreover, noticed both the wheels on the right hand side were curbed. I was pretty furious after noticing that, I wrote a feedback on google, reached out to Honda and composed an email with all the complaints I had. I received a text message from Foundation Honda asking me for feedback, I was not kind there either.A couple of days later I got a call from Jayson (Service Director) that I could not pick as I was busy with the work. He dropped a voicemail as well as a text message. After my work, in the evening I decided to call him and explain every gripe I had, he was pretty calm to listen to me and showed the willingness of resolving the complaints I had. He offered me wheel replacement for the wheels were curbed by them, not only that, he offered me the replacement for the third wheel as well because it was curbed in the past by me and I wanted it to be replaced to have all 4 wheels in perfect shape. The good part did not end there, he went further ahead and offered me filling the full gas tank as well because I had to drive the distance for the visit.-- Below are somethings I am not very pleased with.- They charge 3% extra for servicing if you pay with credit card.- The recommendations are not accurate.
Excellent experience with new sales person k. Assisted me from start to finish with purchasing a 2018 Nissan altima. I really appreciated his time spent with me .
I recently bought a 2020 Honda Accord Sport in October of 2020. At the time of purchase I added a tire and wheel package which covers me for 72 months on any tire damage or rim damage (even just cosmetic) with a $0 deductible. I finally needed to take advantage of the package due to having a nail in my rear tire and 3 rims that have cosmetic damage. I call the warranty department for my replacements and they advised me that my policy had been canceled as of March 2, 2021 via Foundation Honda. So I called over to Foundation Honda and spoke with Ed Wooden in the Finance department, who basically said my policy was still active on their end and that he would email the warranty company. Mind you he did not get a contact name or anything from me so I do not know exactly who he emailed that day. Ive called Ed Wooden back at least 7 times, but only got him on the line 2 times out of the 7 which he basically said there was nothing he could do because he was not the one who sold me the package and he already emailed the warranty department. When he finally let me get a word in, I explained to him that the warranty department gave me a direct line for him to contact so they could verify the policy was in fact still currently active. He said he would called me back. It has been 3 days since that phone call. I am still riding around with a nail in my tire because I refuse to pay twice for something that is covered and it doesnt seem like Ed Wooden cares about the safety of past purchasers since he did not make the sale. I have also left messages for another person in finance, they never returned my phone call. I asked to speak to a manager as well, no answer, left a voice mail and still no call returned. HORRIBLE service. I will never purchase another vehicle from this location EVER. I will be going up there in person today to see what excuse Ed Wooden has today as well as the general manager. I need to figure out how to make a complaint because this is unacceptable.
I think I may have to change my review. Final assessment. Honda Foundation ran a advertisement regarding turning in your lease for 1Kgift card. I called several times no answer. Finally I speak to someone, Wendy, she seemed very nice. I took a trip there. They evaluated my car and met the criteria to receive the gift card even took pictures. However, no one has called me back to almost say sorry we are no longer interested nothing. Not to mention when I fist called them about the ad no dates when mentioned.now it appears to be expired. Imagine That! Dont lease a honda right now u guys
Its nice for car service.
This place surprised me (in very good ways) because I’m not easily sold on any car deal, ever. It usually takes me weeks to finalize a deal because I negotiate everything. Yesterday morning I called Foundation Honda because even though they were 35-40 miles away from me, they had the exact trim and color I was trying to purchase at Great Lakes. Salesman at Great Lakes had no idea when they would be able to get the car, so I took it upon myself to contact Foundation Honda to see if I could work up a better deal & just buy from them since they had exactly what I wanted, so why wait? I was connected to Sophal Yan at Foundation Honda and all I can really say is wow! What an awesome experience all the way around. He and I finalized an even better deal than what Great Lakes had going for me within a matter of a few hours - via text! I picked up the car that same evening! Sophal was the exact kind of salesman I like to work with - one that listens to the client’s needs/wants, did not come off sales-y at all (idk about all of you but I cannot stand a stereotypical car salesman) applied zero pressure, kept every single word he gave me throughout the process and made it honestly one of the best buying experiences I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be going back to Foundation Honda and specifically Sophal for my next Honda, I highly recommend that you consider working with Foundation & Sophal for your next ride too. Thanks again!
Not my dealer but my dealer sucks so I stopped in here to schedule an inspection. One of the service men came out and was extremely nice he even checked a few things on my car and gave his opinion for free. I asked him is there a way I can tip you for this and he would not accept it. Great first impression.
I was very happy the way sale person ray hall welcome me and my husband in and ask us what we where looking the color and even what type of car we want he was not a pushy sales representative he want us to get what we wanted and or expectations was important for him the we left happy and with a brand new 2021 crv and we was very happy I highly recommend this dealer place you will walk out happy.
The 3 stars is due to the finance department. The sales associate I worked with was great. However, if you choose to go here please get your own financing. I have been trying to get in touch with someone in that department for weeks now. I’ve left multiple messages and have even talked to the GM and still have not received one phone call back. They claim customer satisfaction is their priority but in my experience that has not been the case. By them not contacting me they are failing to hold up their end of the contract we signed which states I may cancel my GAP insurance. So again please get your own financing because once you purchased from them they no longer make you a priority.
Ray was an awesome sales person, he truly made be feel comfortable & I express my concerns & what I was looking for & what price range I could afford. He met all those expectations. A job well done.
Evan was my dealer but the whole team at Foundation made my car buying experience awesome. I am still awed because Evan continues to address any of my concerns in a timely fashion.
Went in yesterday to get an oil change as usual, while waiting I spoke with one of the reps and they got me into a 2022 Honda civic, I wasnt sure it would happen, but they did, it was a WONDERFUL experience, thankyou to Honda for taking care of me
I went there to reprogram my radio after I got a new battery from Detroit Auto. I was in and out in 10 min and I didnt have to leave my car. The staff was nice and helpful
Wonderful place to buy a car! Professional staff, got me in and out quick. No games, just got a fair deal and was very surprised how fast and easy it was.
Great staff!! Really focused on providing a good customer experience!!
Great Service Advisor, Marc P., addresses all concerns, helpful & honest. Great, professional & clean facility. Shuttle, coffee & WiFi available. Love the detailed colored service report. Love Foundation Honda!
WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!Bought an SUV from the dealership in November. They scammed us into an added warranty which, we explicitly said that we didnt want. But then got our first car payment bill and there it was on the autoloan. My wife called and emailed them more than 40 times, and they took months to resolve it. They promised us to back date everything and give us a full refund on the added warranty, 6 months later we got less than half. Now when we try to get a hold of them again....absolutely no response.Even called the manager Delano, as suggested in the previous google review but he has also not responded.Again DO NOT BUY FROM HERE, THEY NEVER HELP YOU AFTER THE SALE IS COMPLETE. There are plenty of other local dealerships to go to instead.
Worst customer service experience of my life!!!We were new in town they knew that we needed a car immediately. All good customer service until we signed the paper. They told us that an extended warranty was included, but what they meant was that it was added to the price. It was late at night when we signed the papers and told thwir finance we had to bring our kids. Our bad, for not reading the fine print of the contract. We had signed agreeing to an extended warranty without realizing.Only a few days later we processed the paperwork to cancel the warranty, we even have a copy of the email. Now 4 months later we are still paying for this added warranty, Ive called more than 25 times and have been directed to speak to more than 7 different people at this one location alone. Always being told that they will take care of it....Nothing had happened. The worst customer service, completely dishonest. Do not buy from here.
Ceez is THE BEST Purchased 2 cars through her customer service always A1 !!!! The entire staff is very nice but she the best
Ive taken my car here for years! Georgiann, in the service department, is THE BEST! Shes always such a ray of sunshine!
Only went there because of vehicle available, a typical dealership and paperwork headaches, Buying a car should be easier.
Not a honest dealership they changed everything we discussed over the phone in person
Found via internet, very casual atmosphere greeted without corralling, at my leisure found Ray I explained I never drove a Accord and wanted to, had my eye in a low mileage Accord which was already sold. Ended up driving two older versions which were impressive. Ray answered every question if he didnt know he got answers, so helpful. Further discussions revealed a really good warranty program included in less than 100k vehicles that blew me away. In addition to Honda this dealership itself offers no that lasts as long as you own the car. An exceptional additional warranty. All in all, worth going here because the philosophy and the people show integrity. Ken B
So many people told me good things about this dealership but my experience there this weekend was everything but satisfactory. I came in on Friday with an appointment that was moved an hour earlier with the intentions of viewing the car and test driving. I feel like my time was wasted as i sat in the dealership for hours (wasted a whole day) being moved from one seat to another waiting to view a car only to find out that they were in the back filling out credit apps for me which I didn’t ask for. Also being told that I was not approved for the car that I wanted and they kept insisting that i look at another vehicle. Long story short I sat there for 5 hours, did not test drive any vehicles, and still ran my credit. I am very disappointed in service from that day and they reached back out to me I explained my experience only to be left without a response. Why even reach out to me after you wasted my time. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Go to toyata right across the street has much better customer service.
I went to Foundation Honda to purchase my new car. First I’ll say that, they do make you feel welcome. Going in I was a little over the edge because of my past experiences purchasing vehicles. The team there really do a great job! Every question I asked, was answered. Everything that I wanted, they made sure I got it. I had a few bumps on my part financially and I still got what I wanted. Special shout out to Colleen, Jamere, and Fredrick the finance guy. Great Job!
First of all this place is as clean as a doctors office. Every time I go I am greeted and all my issues are addressed. I always make an appointment,,,,,Wait time is usually an hour or so until youre given an estimate. Unless theres not many people ahead.I have a 2017 honda accord sport and there was a loose shield just dangling beneath my car they were able to just bend it back into place without buying a new part. (Thanks Honda)Some of the estimates were high but its great to go to the dealer and find out exactly what the problem is.I love the free car wash so my baby always goes home shiny!
Excellent service. Ashley T is always friendly and helpful.
I live in the Buffalo area and I called them because they had a used MINI I was interested in. I was put through to Michael Lesko and he checked on it and informed me it was sold. Unfortunately they didnt have any others so we said our goodbyes. The next day Michael called me back to let me know the financing fell through for the other guy, so I asked him to hold the car for me and we hit the road. He told me what items he would need me to bring and I was able to email some of them to him before I even left. I arrived at the dealership around 4:30, he had the car all ready for me to test drive it. While we were waiting on the paperwork he showed us the high tech service department and the very nice customer waiting area. Once all the paperwork was filled out I was on the road around 8:30 that night with my new MINI! Michael & the financing gentleman (I cant remember his name) were very professional and friendly. Michael is very easy to talk to and such a friendly hard working person. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, near or far.I also have to note that their dealership was really cool. They run a fully automated-style shop and run off of solar power!
I definitely recommend that anyone who values great customer service and fair pricing find their way to Foundation Honda. My salesman Raj is genuine and hard working, not pushy or phony. Charlie Lopez and Keaton Eggleston go the extra mile to make sure they secure financing that works for the customer. I’m using present tense because I will definitely give them my business from now on. Very pleased!
I had a great experience with Foundation Honda. The sales team (Colleen and Evan) and the management team (Delano and Nick) went above and beyond to make me comfortable with my purchase. The finance manager (Terry) was pleasant to talk to and explained the finance process thoroughly. Its obvious that this dealership puts the customer experience above all else. All of the associates i came in contact with were polite and courteous. The dealership is a little out of my way, otherwise I would take all my maintenance to them. I assume the service department is top notch as well. Thanks again to all involved!
Very Clean & Nice Dealership. Parts Manager Scott is very Genuine and Professional.
The Honda service team welcomed me to the garage, having arrived on time. My scheduled service was finished ahead of time, and I was offered coffee, television, and a clean waiting room. After I was directed to the cashier/receptionist, I was provided a free car wash and additional information for later visits. Also, as a courtesy, I was asked if I needed anything else, and my license plate was fully secured. The global Honda Network provides if I need further maintenance!
Sold a car with a rotten frame on front passenger side which was dangerous to the public and self. Would love to post pictures but it will not let me. 58,000 mike car so beware.
Nice people nice prices
I had been going to Honda Motorcars at this location for over a decade before Foundation took over. After waiting for four hours in their waiting area for service, I had to enquire about my car because i was given no updates. I was told the the technicians cant turn the key in the ignition cylider as it appears to be broken, a problem that did not exist when i came in. I came in for tires and road trip check up.To make matters worse their sopposedly repaired drivers door lock did not work after being ensured everything was fixed.I also paid 236.18 for a new tailgate latch handle and repair on 3/29, this broke on 4/1.Either this place is incompetent or running a scam, either way avoid Foundation Honda like the plague. You will be robbed.
So many professional and understanding to work with you to get what you need... Thank you Wendy
UPDATE: Spoke with General Manager of Foundation through a personal phone call. Very accommodating. Matter will be discussed with my wife and issue put to rest. Thank you all for the personal care.Martin
NEVER BUYING FROM HERE AGAIN! Bought my lease out and financed my car on 9/3 and it is 10/6 and the lease still hasnt been paid off and I am showing past due because they cant get their act together. No one can give me an answer and no one is of any help. The general manager is only available by email and wont take phone calls. They care more about getting good reviews and followers on their pages than they care about giving proper customer service. Go to a different Honda dealer. There are plenty in the greater Cleveland area that I am sure would be more helpful.
Not sure what happened,Had a great experience with the old dealership Honda Motors, but when I went in to look at a new Civic I walked around the dealership for almost 15 minutes without being helped, and when I was, the person I spoke with for 10 minutes told me she wasnt in sales and Id have to talk to a salesperson about buying a car. What a waste of time. My father just referred me to his dealership in Bedford and it looks like Ill have my first American-made car when the Holidays are over. Apparently Honda Motors was one of a kind.
My visit went well, it didn’t take more than the estimated time for my appointment which was good. Mark was very friendly and helpful.
Came in for regular service and had a great experience. Waiting room was comfortable and all the employees were pleasant.
I walked through the show room... and not one person offered to help me ...the insurance lady told me to go to the front desk ... he never looked up from the computer.... I would say the new generation should comprehend the FOUNDATION of customer service is based on CONSISTENCY.....COMMUNICATION... and CONSCIOUSNESS.... time is the measurement of events passing.... every time I go there it’s Something?? Perhaps I’m the problem? Parts department seems to be good ... some one must be on the floor to talk to an individual as my self who is expecting a smile and a how can u I help u ....
Updating my original review from 1 to 5 stars because Foundation Honda did what little others do, and reached out when they wronged me, and made it right. Long story short, I had gone in to buy a vehicle, which they sold and didn’t tell me until I arrived, after promising not to waste my time and treat me wrong. I appreciate that they took my review and opinion seriously, and appear to be fixing prior policies to not cause bad service to others. Thank you Foundation Honda, I appreciate working with you this time, especially Wendy and Charles, I love my new Honda Civic, and hope this dealership continues to show customers they care to improve like they showed me.Note: they even went to far as hand delivering me something I left in my trade in to my house!
I had my car serviced at Foundation on Aug. 26, I made the APPT. for 8:00 a.m. I dropped off my car at 8:02 a.m. and was given a link to track the progress of the service. at 12.15 I called the service rep to find out when would my car be looked at, he did not answer the call, at 1:15 I called again and finally had to ask for the GM of the dealership, he did not answer the phone, I luckily got his secretary Mary who got my service rep. to call me and she also called me back. I told her I was unhappy that my car wasnt even taken back until 1:15 and I had an appt! I asked her to relay it to the GM and she said she would bring it to his attention. My service rep. finally called me (after Mary talked to him) and told me they have to fit cars in, what do they have to fit in when u have an appt? car wasnt done until about 4;30, when I picked it up the paper work said I got a complimentary car wash, they forgot to do that, no car wash. Then I received 3 emails telling me to watch for a survey and I should give them perfect score, if not call them to discuss it. Well the G.M. knew I was unhappy and he didnt take the time to call me, why would I call them. Unorganized and paperwork makes it look like you get free car wash when u dont Last time at Foundation!!
I had a great experience at Honda even though I do not drive a Honda vehicle they still service my vehicle. They treated me so kindly. Ashley B was very helpful walking me to my car.
I purchased my SUV from Motorcars Honda in 2018 and have been going there for my routine maintenance. I found out that Foundation purchased the dealership and I continued to use their service department because I like to make sure my SUV is in top shape, I prefer going to the Honda dealer over other service centers and I appreciate that Foundation provides a great value for their services and they have reasonable prices and some great specials. All the staff is friendly and I have always had a great experience as a customer.
I’m 61 and very nervous about Covid. We brought our car in for service and we used the night drop off but was nervous about the pickup. Spoke with Richard Bergman, head of service and he sweetly arranged for me to have contactless pick up. I’m thankful that he listened to my concerns and very pleased to say that it worked perfectly. Thank you Richard! Beth Schreibman Gehring
Georgiana was great and sweet as always. The care for my car is so far so good. The cashier was friendly and nice as well.
Im from NY and staying in the Cleveland area. I came to Foundation Honda on recommendation from my friends and family and boy was I glad I came here!I was greeted by and taken care of by Fielding Cloud. This gentleman provided excellent customer service and reassurance as I had a very horrible experience at a dealership in NY. He made himself available to me, readily answering any questions I had. At one point I had a question regarding the car and technician Derron Marsh came out to answer my questions. These two gentlemen, Fielding and Derron, were excellent, very knowledgeable in their fields and definitely deserve recognition for their work!
Intentionally misleading. They are resorting to fooling people into thinking theyll win money by coming to their show room. This should already say enough about this place. The images very clearly show combinations and prizes that are not true. The confirmation code is all that matters and yours has to match one on their board. Save your time dont go. Hopefully theyll see this tactic actually keeps informed customers spending their money elsewhere. Shame on you Foundation Honda.
They lost my key, floor mats were missing after supposedly being detailed. All of this in the first hours of purchase and never responded to my emails or phone calls about it. Still waiting to hear from them on the situation.
I came in for a recall. Also, my keyless remote battery light was on. I asked if he could reset it as the light never went off after having gotten the battery replaced at Jay Honda. After attempting to explain to me, THREE times, that the replaced battery may have been bad from the start, I FINALLY understood! I commend Mark for his patience and generosity as he replaced the battery out-of-pocket. My experience at Foundation Honda was great!
Took my CR-V in for service 9/5/2020. I was hesitant about going in for service because of COVID-19. Upon arrival I see everyone wearing mask which eased my mind about my choice to come for service. Ashley Turczynski signed me in and took care of me during the time I was there for service. Ashley explained EVERY item that the technician said needed to be done. This was not a cheap service call. I was actually shown under my car and saw the repairs that were needed. Everything couldn’t be done that day because it was Saturday and there were parts they had to order. Ashley T is such a doll. I been coming to this dealership since 1999. I purchased several cars from “Motorcars” never had a problem. This was my first visit since changed to Foundation Honda. Completely satisfied and the car runs like new. There was one small discrepancy after I drove my car home and that straightened out.Never had an issue with any of my service from this Honda dealership.
The service was fast and friendly and the order was correct
Foundation Honda in Cleveland is a great dealership and repair shop if you own a Honda for buying their vehicles and repairs.
Diego, Sophal, Charles were extremely helpful and customer service was great had a great attitude very knowledgeable would really recommend 10/10
Just bought a 20 Civic from Rich Klimkowski at Foundation. He was outstanding to deal with and Kelsey Unger in finance was terrific as well. This is my second new Honda purchase from them since 13 and I also use their service dept for my Hondas and their service is always excellent.
The only place I will ever have my accord serviced
I love this place
Nice and clean facility during Covid. I felt safe, everyone had on masks.
I bought a Civic type R and took it here to have an inspection done to make sure everything was good. They charged $160 for the inspection and told me two of the tires had tread below the legal limit and one of them actually had a nail in it. So I took it back to the dealership I bought the car from (Ford dealership) and not only did all my tires have considerably more tread than foundation told me but there wasnt even a nail in any of the tires. Its pretty clear they lied to me to try and sell me some tires I didnt need which is very disappointing. Im sure they do good work just make sure you actually need what youre paying for before you get work done here.
They know about Hondas
I worked with Fielding Cloud and had an excellent experience. Fielding paid careful attention made sure I understood the nature and cost of the work. Then the technicians turned around the work faster than I expected!
Awesome Business, awesome staff = Happy 2001 Honda Prelude Type SH ATTS (only one of its kind registered in the state of Ohio Per-BMV) Owner! Ill be back for some special care ❤
Isaiah Bush is phenomenal. I went into Honda just to look at the selection of cars, long story short I walked out of there with my new Honda civic. Isaiah is a very knowledgeable salesman! He was very kind and made sure I knew all of the car features as well as the perks of additional services. The customer service was excellent and he really exceeded my expectations. I love my new Honda and I will absolutely return to foundation Honda in Cleveland Hts!
Anyone and everyone looking to buy a car needs to consider going through this company no matter where you live. I live in MT and I contacted Sophal Yan about a civic type r they had that I was interested in. After talking back and forth for a bit they sold it to me for sticker price which is incredibly rare for this car, most dealerships will mark them up an easy 5k dollars. Not only did they sell me the car at an incredible deal they even offered to have the car personally delivered to me. Hands down the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Sophal Yan is an incredible sales person and I recommend anyone to go through him.
Service was amazing! My experience with Kyle far exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond and made sure I left with a car that I liked. Drove home in a car at an amazing price! I would highly recommend this dealership to all my friends and associates. Thank you Motorcar Honda!
Great both sales & service! Always nice people doing their best to take care of the customer.
My previous experience with this establishment left me a little hesitant to return. I was having an oil change done in January 2020 which ultimately ended with me paying for new breaks. During my initial visit, I felt like the cost of service kept increasing throughout my entire visit and when I received the final invoice it was something much higher than originally communicated. I noticed this week that there was an unfamiliar sound while accelerating and chose to give Foundation Honda another shot... and I am so glad I did! Their new staff member Mark did an outstanding job communicating both the issue and the cost associated with fixing it. He not only told me what was causing the noise, but took the time to show me! Mark is an excellent addition to the Foundation Honda team and was able to regain my trust in this place. Because of him, I will definitely be returning! If you do choose to go to Foundation Honda, I highly recommend Mark Piccolomini!
Service was absolutely amazing!!! Called in spoke with Miguel yesterday for a few moments, next thing I know I’m there looking at the car that made me smile super hard!! Everyone there was super helpful. Drove home in a new car & at a great price! Kudos to Miguel Edwards for assisting me!!
Great service the service person Brandon help very much.i was very satisfied 100%
My first experience at Foundation was terrific. I went in for a repair covered under extended warranty. Not only did they replace the part for free, but they were able to do it the same day. Every Foundation employee I encountered was extremely helpful and welcoming. Foundation is quickly becoming my preferred local Honda dealership - although I didnt buy my car from them, Ill definitely look there first when Im in the market for a new car.
Absolutely phenomenal dealership. Ive had my accord serviced here several times and every time the staff was excellent, quick, and kind. It was time for a new vehicle and there was no doubt in my mind where I wanted to shop. We had the pleasure of working with Michael in sales and David in finance who were both exceptional. Michael was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and we enjoyed meeting and working with him. David in finance was a pleasure and knowledgeable and kind as well. We could not have asked for a better car buying experience and working with people that made you remember that car buying can be fun again. Michael and David are assets to your company and we thank you. We will never go to another shop for service or place to purchase a vehicle.
FALSE ADVERTISING OF A PROMO. Said if you match all the winning numbers you’ll win $5k, I thought ok this is probably untrue but let me call anyways. They said no if you match everything up you’re a winner! I come in to get more information and they tell me oh no but you can have a “consolation prize” which is a smart watch ok y’all lied but where is my watch then?? SURPRISE: the watch doesn’t exist and they just want to give you a sales pitch. Y’all lied about this why on earth would I want to buy anything from you???? Never in my life would I buy from somewhere that blatantly lies to potential customers. Shady as hell.
Excellence customer service.
Will never buy a Honda vehicle ever...!!!Updated after one month of buying the car.Even though I worked with Nagaraju Tulam to purchase a SUV, he and the finance department of Honda did not approve my lease application because they made a mistake on my application even when I had a valid visa status and valid documents to prove. As a billion dollar company, I wonder why Honda does not know any thing about valid US visa documents to approve their customers applications. This is the worst customer experience I ever had during my stay at USA with a dealership. Foundation Honda acted very unprofessional in this manner and I immediately returned the vehicle. They did not even appologize for their mistake and nobody seems to care about this as well. I went to Toyota dealership right across the Honda dealership, and they were very nice, helpful and understood the situation and approved our application rightaway to purchase the vehicle. This is not an efficient dealership and will rip off your time, energy and money. Therefore I dont recommend this place for any one looking for a Honda vehicle. Go for Toyota or other dealership around the Cleveland area and they will respect and will give you the best customer experience. Will never buy a Honda vehicle again....!!!!
My experience at foundation Honda at first was a great one. I purchased a 2015 Chevy equinox on September 5 2020. Sad to say I had to bring it back September 12,2020.The timing belt needed changing and my crank shaft went bad. I only had 54,000 miles on it when I purchased it. They completed the work and I was back in 2 weeks in the service department, because I had a knocking coming from the under body of my vehicle. The service department found out it was a pipe that unbolted. I had the car for almost a month after that was fixed and my engine light came on. The service department inspection showed that my vehicle was consuming oil and oil was being sucked into my air flow chamber. They had to change my silenoid because they went bad, my head gaskets had to be replaced and I had to get my cam sprockets replaced as well. This has been an on going problem since I purchased this vehicle. Foundation Honda has had this car in the repair shop for the past 5 months and Im still paying for it. As of December 28th my 2015 equinox is sitting in foundations garage waiting to be repaired. Foundations service department explain to global warranty that I need my engine replaced. I filed a complaint with the attorney general and the BBB. I found out that foundation Honda has an F rating and bad business practices. I have been driving a loner for a month because my car is still not repaired. The loner cars are new cars that they still sale to public, so I would not advise purchasing any vehicles from foundation Honda. I have been driving new CRVS that only had less than 1000 miles on them, thats how I know they were new and had the purchase stickers still on loner vehicles. My calls are being pushed to voicemail, Dalono palmer which is the manager is avoiding me and will not take any of my calls. I have requested that they find me another vehicle since Ive only had my 2015 Equinox 5 months. Now Im being ignored and I still do not have my vehicle I am paying for.
GREAT customer service seriously. I would go here again and again. It really felt like they cared and that is really important to me.
These are amazing people. Came in. Was greeted warmly and assisted with energy and helpfulness. They got me into my first SUV and I love it. Introduced us to their amazing service department. We look forward a long relationship.
Helpful staff
I had Cierra McNickels, super sweet and professional, got me exactly what i was looking for in a speedy time. Even the process before the appointment was very consistent and professional.
My boyfriend and I have been in the market to buy a brand new car for some time. I currently have a 2008 Honda CR-V that has been working great for me, so I decided to some research on Honda Dealers because the brand is so reliable. During my search, I came across Foundation Honda and after looking on their Facebook page, I was very impressed by the promotions and great deals that they have to offer. The videos featuring the young lady by name of Kayla, are very entertaining and they always keep their page updated with the newest information. I can’t wait to go in to find out what deals they have to offer me. Hopefully I’ll win one of those prizes :)
I scheduled the A 1 3 service for my 2017 Ridgeline RTL AWD weeks ago. When I scheduled the appointment I also selected fuel system service and entered in the notes requesting that the parts for TSB 18-018 be ordered in advance to save me a trip. I also noted that Id be coming in on my lunch break and needed to return to work so if Motorcars was busy, Id happily reschedule. I know all this information was stored because it appeared on the reminder email I recieved the day before my appointment.I arrived yesterday at ~12:40pm for my 1:00pm appointment. I was greeted by the usual crew of rowdy kids working the service line. I was instructed to pull up to the stop sign where I waited for my assigned service advisor. Once inside I was informed that she had no record of my request for the 18-018 repair for the fuel filler cap. Whats the point of having your customers enter detailed information online and assigning a service advisor if that information is never reviewed? An hour and a half later (so much for a long lunch) I pay and head out to my truck. I find the engine cover, fender, driver door, and door handle covered in oil or grease! How lazy, incompetent, or careless are your techs to return a vehicle like that to the customer?!?! So now I have to wait again while a detailer tries to wipe all the crud off my truck. The best part is that guy uses the same exterior quick detail spray to clean off my leather steering wheel! Seriously? So now I have to schedule yet another appointment to get the fuel filler issue corrected. I can promise you that Im done with your service department for good. The last time was just an oil change and tire rotation and it took a solid two hours!
They were helpful in selection of new & used cars
Horrible Communication between front desk and the service department. I made an appointment for a tire a have a warranty for, I pulled up to the service door for my appointment and wasn’t asked any questions. The service person put air in my tire and told me to have a good day. After talking to 4 different people and getting to the bottom of why I was there, I still sat for 4 hours for a replacement tire. I was told by the person scheduling person this was going to take an hour...just 1 hour. Horrible experience! The Customer Lounge is the reason for the 1 star. It was nice a comfortable.
Great service
Best car buying experience ever! I’ve purchased or leased many cars from many dealers over the years, both new and used. But, I’ve never had such an outstanding experience. I recently purchased a used car that I found online. Jeff was a low pressure, but enthusiastic and attentive salesman. One of the managers, Vinson, took time to lead me on a tour of the facility, including the impressive & modern service area. Even Steve from finance was friendly, patient and quick. I truly felt valued as a customer, unlike so many dealers that value just your purchase. I never felt as a lesser customer because I was buying a low cost used car. In fact, they treated me like I was buying a brand new car. Kudos to the entire organization!
We traded in our vehicle a year early and we believed that the transaction went beautifully. The reason we traded in our car a year early and put a lot of money down on a new car was to avoid having to pay the ridiculous over mileage costs. We figured we would pay for the down payment to not get hit with the fees later. We got a call a year later from Honda Financial services letting us know that our payment was past due on the old vehicle. We explained that this was traded in a year prior and there must have been some sort of mistake. We attempted to get a hold of this dealership several times and couldnt get a hold of anyone to help us. I even wrote an email to the general manager, Roberto. We finally got to our sales rep and he said that there were files he didnt have access to and suggested we did research on our end. When we called Honda Financial Services, they let us know that our vehicle owed close to $1,200 for over mileage. Not possible! We specifically tried to avoid this. Honda Financial Services then proceeded to tell us that when we let them know our car was traded in a year prior, they contacted this dealership and this dealership said they accidentally placed the car on the used car lot. Who knows how many people test drove this car and racked up the mileage before it was traded in a year later! When I asked the dealership to resolve this issue, they said there was nothing they could do. This hit my credit. I had no choice but to pay the $1,200 for miles I didnt accrue. Unfortunately, my family and I will never buy cars from them again and I cant help but think that there are very unfortunate business practices happening between their four walls. I emailed Roberto again today but am expecting to not hear back. Its unfortunate because I really liked our sales rep and trusted him.
If I could move my Honda warranty to another dealership I would. I bought my car from Motorcross Honda and Foundation bought them. The lady that was my point of contact did her job to the best of her ability but the constraints that she was under made it difficult.A rodent chewed my wires and my car wasn’t working properly after having my car for a day I got a two quotes. One was for over $2000 and the other was for $660 after speaking with the gentlemen he told me he couldn’t guarantee the work if I chose the $660 route and I should do the more expensive option. So I called my insurance company to make the payment and they called me back and said that the work would only be $535 and I should just pay it out of pocket since my deductible was $500 I said ok and went to pick up my car. Before my car was complete they found another problem with my rear caliber that was under warranty but you can’t change a caliber with changing the brakes and that would be an additional $400. I asked them to repair and and to my surprise my car was $1200 dollar. I was furious. The lady tried to explain the difference between insurance hourly rate and customer rate which I understand by my insurance adjuster just told me an hour ago what the rate should be. After going back and forth we settled on $1090 and I went home.On my way home my tire pressure light comes on no big deal it’s been cold and my car was sitting a few days I get out and notice the same tire they took off to replace my caliber was flat again no worries a simple mistake I filled it and was done. Until I wake up the next morning. My tire is completely flat I take it back to Foundation and the young lady says it’s going to be $35 dollars I told her I wasn’t paying it because my tires were fine when I dropped it off and we didn’t do an inspection when you gave it back. She relented and fixed my tire. Long story short don’t spend you money fixing or buying a car there’s no customer culture here. I felt deceived and they are just like every other car dealership!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I tried to buy my vehicle at the end of the lease and they keep telling me I owe thousands more than what my residual was on my lease papers. They takes WEEKS to communicate and get back to you. They send incorrect forms to my home with incorrect values. Very dishonest and crooked place. Will avoid in the future.
