The driver on the Collinwood Dr route is consistently driving in excess of 45 mph in a 20 mph zone. There is no need for this type of excessive and careless speed.
Bought out old company. Didn’t tell customers. Broke autopay. Sent quarterly payment immediately to collections.I called, manually zeroed out the balance and cancelled all service on principal.Nice corporate transition. Really stuck the landing there.I don’t think I am alone in this, my whole life is on autopay. I don’t think about it. So if it changes, I don’t know. Maybe call people first.
My residential trash is scheduled for pick up on Thursdays. Yesterday (Thursday, March 4th) my trash was not picked up as scheduled. My wife called to inquire as to why, and was told that it would be picked up that evening. That never happened. I called today (Friday) and was told that they would TRY to pick it up today. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Maybe next month I will TRY to pay my bill! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!
Although they say that they do on their website, I was informed by a manager there they no longer provide service for elderly or disabled people because their trucks are now automated. This is a direction violation of ADA Compliance and is in fact illegal for then not to provide a service for elderly and/or disabled people.
This company is a joke. I needed to cancel my service in January 2020 as I am moving. I had already paid for Jan - March. I was told that I would not receive a refund for the months I had paid in advance and they are going to charge me a $35 cancellation fee also.
Very disappointed with this service. Our realtor recommended them when we moved in. Their rates went up every year without advance notice, they missed our trash on several occasions, and they charged us a cancellation fee I had been told repeatedly over the phone did not exist. Feeling very affirmed in my decision to switch to something local and likely higher quality.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL AND COMPLETELY UNORGANIZED, RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.I dont ever write bad reviews but this is too upsetting in so many ways not to. Our account was deactivated because I forgot to pay (my fault completely, as soon as I realized they didnt come on Wednesday I paid the balance in full ON WEDNESDAY afternoon for the last 3 months and future 3 months) I called Thursday to ask why they have not yet come after I paid the balance in full, the lady apologized and said she sees my account is now paid, they would send a ticket for someone to pick up the trash tomorrow. I was happy with that and she was very nice. TODAY 12:30 PM FRIDAY, I called to verify AGAIN that someone was still coming and asked what time they would be here, she said it would be later this afternoon after the drivers regular routes. 4:53 PM our overflowing trash was still sitting there, so I called once again, a different lady informed me that she sees the ticket for them to come to us but that the driver is in for the day and the soonest someone can now come get the trash is Monday. No apology, nothing. My husband said no, this is unacceptable, our trash is overflowing we called just earlier to verify they were coming and now we have to go all weekend!? Said we would like to speak to a manager...she said she is transferring us now to her Operations Manager. It was now 5:01 PM. It went straight to his voicemail. We tried calling her RIGHT back to speak to a different manager, and we got the main office voicemail. It was after 5:00. Closed for the weekend. We got the feeling she knew the manager wouldnt pick up (or just didnt care) and knew that we couldnt get ahold of anyone afterwards and that she just wanted to go home for the weekend to get us off the phone.I would very much like a refund for the next 3 months and my trash can (and all overflowing bags that will be sitting beside it) to be picked up Monday because you all just lost a long-term customer.

We own a business here in town and they did not pick up our trash one day so I called and they said no worries we will have someone out tomorrow. I come in 2 days later trash is still here and when i try to call I am on hold for almost 20 mins still no answer... NEVER WILL USE THEM AGAIN!
Oh my goodness this service is trash. I paid and they have not picked my trash up for two weeks almost 3 weeks. I called and the lady said she would put in a work order waited and my trash is still on the crub..I will be cancelling their services.

Deleted my previous review. One of their trucks was on the highway in the next lane. A water bottle came flying out of the top of their truck and hit my windshield. Their manager passed the buck and said it wasnt their responsibility. Now they went and deleted my review.
This company has the worst customer service that I have ever seen - and its not just the people that answer the phones. Its on all levels from the people that answer the phones to the managers to the drivers. Our driver doesnt care about his customers or the company that he is supposed to be representing. All he cares about is talking on the phone while he is operating a commercial vehicle. That says a lot about the company to me. Corey was supposed to talk to his driver and take care of our issue. Either he didnt and he lied to me or he talked with his driver and his driver could care less what his manager says. Either way, Im the one that is paying for a service that is supposed to benefit me but its become nothing but a problem. -- I would give you zero stars if that was an option.
This is the worst trash company ever. It has been numerous times they failed to pick our trash up. We always called in for them to pick our trash up. And the manager always made a excuse as to why his drivers didn’t pick up our trash. We went two weeks with them not picking our trash up. I would not recommend this trash service to anyone
I seriously do not understand why this company has such low ratings. We signed up with them two years ago and never have been disappointed with their service. They always picked up our thrash on the said day. On days after a state holiday, they picked up the following day, would not be the same time, but definitely they were picked up.
We had payed our bill and our trash was not picked up for three weeks. They said our service was on hold when we called. She found that we had payed and was going to take us off a hold. Next week comes around and still no pick up. I called again and she tried to say we havent payed. She found that we had payed again. She said we will get someone out to pick it up in a day or two. It never got picked up even after both conversation. So I called again and cancelled. She still tried to say we didnt pay this time also. I have the receipt and everything. This company is not professional. They accuse people of not paying without researching there own paperwork or computer. Or they just didnt fix the issue, any of the times I called them. Poor customer service. I just cant believe they accused us of not paying, even though we have a receipt to prove we have paid.
They just dumped my trash on my driveway and it was all in my can! I had my cardboard flat and folded and they didn’t bother to pick it up. Let it fall out in the street also. When I called I just got “well it’s automated so they don’t exit their truck”! Well I bothered to flatten and fold my boxes in this freezing weather and pay you to pick it up. How about do it?! Time to switch services.Now that I’ve called to cancel services guess what.....no refunds issued even though I’m paid up through May! It’s March 4! So you know I’m upset and leaving your company and you don’t care in the least to even give me a refund. Wow! Definitely time to go!
This business does NOT deserve a rating. On 6/4 they emptied the container but left the bags on the ground. I called and complained on 6/4 & 6/5, I also filed a complaint with their website. On 6/6 I had to track down a number for their corporate office and after two phone calls. I FINALLY reached a manager, Crystal, who offered me 1 free month of service if I stayed as a customer. On 6/7 the FINALLY picked up the rest of the trash, but the took the container too. Leaving me one day to find another trash service. Sadly, I have had the problem with them not picking up the trash on multiple occasions. This company has HORRIBLE customer service and I would NOT recommend them to anyone. When you call their corporate office, you get a recording from the senior chairman stating how customer service is what they strive for. I say thats a bunch of BS, I have never received ANY customer service from this company and I have been a customer for 4 years. You better be aware if you choose them for a trash service.
Can delivery was within a few days. Billing office has some issues; lost track of some random fees and threw them on later. Service is fine, nothing terrible but nothing great. For the price, would recommend looking elsewhere.

Been using waste industries for around five years. Never been any real major issues. Didnt even complain when they gradually raised my rate from $42.00 a quarter to $51.00 a quarter. Yet, when I moved and needed to have the trash can moved, it was going to be a $30 charge?! And to deter me from cancelling, they stated I wouldnt get a refund for they months Ive already paid for but havent used.Called a local company, Stinky Pinky, and they said it was no charge if I moved and needed the trash can moved. Thats all I needed to hear to cancel with waste industries. Not to mention the other company is also cheaper quarterly.
This literally is the worst trash company on the planet! They don’t pickup trash for two weeks and it’s not even the holiday!! It’s the Friday before New Years.... Every other trash company comes by to pick up trash just to let y’all know! Do not use this company! Unfortunately, I was new to the area and didn’t know better. How hard is it to come get trash? Im heartened to see that my experience appears to be the norm, rather than exception. 2nd week in a row failed to also pick up the allowed two extra bags alongside the main bin--was NOT yard waste (grass clippings, etc.) This company has been acquired by a large national conglomerate more concerned with profits above people and great service. Find a local company--like the one that rhymes with Chairborne Proposal
I had two containers for years with these guys. Very hard to contact, issues never fixed such as lots of grease left on the cans from the trucks that end up on our clothes when we move them. They never return calls. Finally I hassled with cancelling them and hiring Airborne, who stopped their truck, got out to shake my hand thanking me for my business. My old Waste Industry cans continue to sit on my curb, waiting to be picked up. Ive tried to call and remind them to pick up their cans but cant get ahold of anyone for that issue either
The service is pretty great and my trash is always picked up. On another note the price is constantly going up. I’m currently searching for a different company to us. My income is limited I am barely making as is.
I cant believe this company is still in business. By far the worst service ever. They failed to pick up my trash the week after Christmas, failed to pick it up the week after New Year. I finally got them to show up on a Saturday to pick it up after having over 2 weeks of trash sitting next to the house and they then failed to pick it up again the next week. Im paying for a weekly service and getting my trash picked up maybe 2 times a month if Im lucky. When I call to complain they are completely rude and blame the customer for their horrible service. Im taking my $ elsewhere.
They were great when we had them, but be forewarned they will not refund if your money if you cancel after you were billed for the quarter! Hey say its a company policy, which is an awful policy. Why did I have to pay for a service I didnt not use for 2 months out of the 3? No explanation beyond we wont its policy. Not a Great way to treat customers.

This company is pretty timely, but has repeatedly strewn our trash across the street and yard. I have personally witnessed employees treat personally owned cans with hateful disrespect and haste. Ive called the company complaining several times and still cannot count the mornings I look out my window to see a careless mess and my dumpster in the middle of my driveway; on its side usually. I hate this company.
This company is going down the hill. I called to make sure they were coming the day after christmas like normal. Asked the lady on the phone if my home was on the route to pick. She told me Yes it was. Came 4 pm and my trash was still there. Had to wait another week for trash pick. I will cancel their services. Their is better and cheaper company this one.
Will not replace your trash can even though they damage it. very unprofessional services they are offer. They dont care about your property just a paycheck continuously leave trash turned over bins all over the place
They tried to charge me a $35 cancel fee. I paid them $36 for 5 days. So then they billed me for $35 can delivery.That means I would have paid $76 for 5 days

They skip entire weeks. There are so many days where I put it out the night before and the next evening my trash was not picked up. They make excuses like there was yard waste, or you didnt put it out in time, which are all complete bull excuses. Then theyll say oh well be out there tomorrow, three days later they still dont show up. They wont pick up all your trash. Youre allowed your trash bin full and one item on the side, so theyll just empty the bin, but not take the side item. They sent me my last bill two days AFTER it was due. You will be better off going with a different company.

Ive had to hire an independent person to come and get my garbage TWICE this month because garbage has sat out at the road and never been picked up even after calling. It is completely and utterly repulsive!
They have repeatedly left trash and broken glass in my driveway. I call them and because I live on post they tell me to call housing. Then I refuse to take no as an answer me they catch an attitude and hang up on me!? Way to support the troops!

There drivers are lazy and rude, leaving trash that sat beside the can, leaving the trashcans in the middle of our circle, making the mail not run. We paid for three months at a time used 3 weeks due to moving and no kind of refund.

Do not rent the bigger dumpsters from them. It takes an act of Congress to get them out to deliver. They will not place the dumpster where you want it. I have a dumpster blocking my drive right now have been asking for them to move the last two weeks and still has not been resolved.
