DeskLabs was the perfect place for our organizations annual kick-off meeting. The Garage was spacious, clean, and included all of our furniture and A/V needs. Tom was very helpful throughout the entire event and really made sure that our group was well taken care of. I cannot speak highly enough of his effort to make our time at DeskLabs enjoyable. We have already referred several partner organizations to this venue and will certainly be back for future events.

My team and I utilized the Clark street facility for a lab this past weekend, and we couldnt be more thrilled with our experience! The facility was spotless, the service was terrific, and the price was extremely reasonable. Tom in particular took exceptional care of us and made us feel more than welcome. The company I work for recently moved our offices to DeskLabs for what was originally intended to be a short stay while finding new accommodations. However, their staff and amenities have changed our minds. We’ll be maintaining our DeskLabs space for the foreseeable future. Thanks, DeskLabs Team, for all the excellent work you do to make us feel at home. If you’re after office space, this is a great place to be!

I hosted a work shop at DESKLABS and Tomwas soooo accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed! If youre looking for a space choose DESKLABS they will take care of you!

Terrible place to work. Worked here last summer. Owner showed sexism and was just down right disrespectful to staff and customers. The good reviews on here are most likely because he’s offering discounts to post a good review.

Reviewing during Covid times: This workspace located on the Clark, in Lakeview neighborhood has been very accommodating and convenient during Covid. The space itself that is functional, Offers coffee, fridge, copying machines and good Internet. I rented a private office which was quiet enough. Lots off lunch options around the place

Stay away from this place! Terrible business. Lawsuit waiting to happen. I worked here for two weeks and was harassed by the owner multiple so I quit.

The owner ( Muhsin Okmen) refuses to return the deposit and continued to charge our card after we left. We have complied with all terms and provided the Exit form as required. It is now 3 months since we provided the Exit form and 1.5 months since we left. Today (3-18-20) we are still requesting our money back. We are fighting for our lives and do not have the time for this nonsense.

These type of coworking spaces and the like are cool but I dont entirely appreciate the business mindsets that give rise to these locations. This is by far one of the more smaller coworking spaces with less amenities than I would prefer. It seems like somebody is just trying to take advantage of the trend without any idea to the actual mindset of people who need these spaces. There are a plethora of people that kind of come and go but they end up taking their calls and meetings in the open spaces, kind of disturbing the peace. The kitchen area is average but again most people like to work around this area and it can get interesting.The owner likes to idle his rented cars outside the space. I was in the meeting and I saw him idle his car for an hour and a half. I dont think I want to support someone that has the mindset to do something like that regardless of the impact it would have. Its just mindless.Its a good space to try to set up a business and to get people to work. Unless you are a very small business and dont have that many employees I really wouldnt think about participating in these spaces. There is a reason why we work is going under.

We hosted an event on the rooftop the night before our wedding and had the most pleasant experience working with Meghan and Kendall. They took great care in ensuring that we had the best time knowing that wed be hosting another large party the next day. Additionally, they were extremely helpful and communicative with the logistics. Would highly recommend!

Cool place to work. Held an event there not to long ago and the staff was friendly but not much help. Had to move all their tables and chairs around till we where happy. Usually when we throw an event the staff takes care of that. And their idea of catering was going to Costco...

The DeskLabs staff was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating prior to and during an event hosted there. The space was clean and featured all amenities as advertised. Our event was a rooftop party that benefited a non-profit organization. We utilized the onsite built-in bars, seating areas, umbrellas, and downstairs meeting room. In addition, we brought in a DJ, stage, and branding materials.

We have an office space at DeskLabs and would say that the staff that manages the space is extremely accommodating!Our office along with the shared spaces in the building are comfortable and the people that frequent DeskLabs are friendly.

Desklabs is a great place to get work done! Awesome vibe, friendly staff, and ideal location. Their rooftop is hard to beat and the daily cookies and coffee are nice :)

It s nice place to get things done if you dont have an office.

Our team started here and it was great but there were a lot of grumblings about the landlord. We ended up having enough odd conversations that we also decided it would be best to relocate.

The owner of this company owes my business a lot of money. According to our collection agency, he also owes other contractors and even cook county! Find another space to rent...this man has no morals.

Ive been at Desklabs for 5 months and could not be happier. Apart from the location (5 minute walk from the station) and an array of food options within walking distance, the space itself is perfect for work. The office is comfortable, spacious and well lit. The internet is fast, and there are several desks, nooks and conference rooms to work in. The team that runs Desklabs is very professional and attentive to the needs of their customers. The beautiful garage/event space, great coffee and the community are added perks to the experience Highly recommend it.
