I dont usually write reviews, especially not negative ones, but the service I received here was subpar. 2 stars simply for the fact that the nail techs are friendly and I was helped promptly.I came in for an acrylic set removal. Arrived a few minutes before opening and was seated immediately at the time of my appointment. The nail techs here are super friendly. This review is solely based on the quality of the service received.After I was seated, the tech filled a small bowl with acetone, and asked me to place my hands in the bowl. Ive never had acrylics removed in this way, but I thought it was new technique and thought it would be a matter of minutes.Well, theyre working on another client and 20 minutes go by and my fingers are still soaking in acetone. The tech checks in on my fingers and leaves to check in on their other client. Another 10 minutes pass by and they finally comes over to remove the remaining acrylic.30 minutes of my fingers sitting in warmed (its on top of a heater) acetone and my fingers are dry and caked with residue. They remove the rest of the acrylic with a dremel, files, and buffs my nails. And by the end of the process I still have acrylic goo all over my nails and fingers and my finger pads feel as though theyve been stripped away by acetone.Ive visited before for a gel dip manicure and pedi and wasnt super impressed, but thought Id give it another go. Unfortunately, wont be visiting again.

My first time here. Place was recommended by my daughter’s mother n law. Place was clean that’s definitely deserve a star ⭐️ for that. I booked water tower pedicure. Was told to pick color off the wall by the door didnt really like the selection it was just ok. I thought that was my only options for regular color options. The person who did my nails didn’t offer me any other options . Fast forward another client comes in he offers her a whole swatch of different colors to choose from she didn’t have to asked he explained to her the colors came on no chip and regular. Obviously she was new to the place like me. When I expressed to him that I was unaware of the selection they were nonchalant about it like oh well . Wasn’t accommodating at all. I definitely would not have chose this color considering all the other options I seen on the color swatch after the fact. I hate to not recommend a place based on one person but, the same accommodation should be offered to me regardless of if I received the water tower or the lakeshore pedicure. I will not be returning.

This place is freaking awesome! I used to travel an hour+ just to get my nails done because I knew Id be in and out on time and have the designs I wanted for a reasonable price. The team is very personable. The jelly pedis are bomb. Ive been coming here for 2yrs and sooo glad I moved closer lol. Thank yall.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Tuyen and T Nail Bar!! T and I crossed paths late in the evening the night before a big meeting I had scheduled when my nails were a HOT MESS!! She squeezed me in as a last appointment of the day, and the rest is literally history!! I have never been able to find a nail artist as talented as Tuyen, and I am so happy to have her in my arsenal! Her work is unmatchable. My full set or fill lasts a minimum of 3 weeks, and have lasted as long as 5.5 weeks without breaking a nail(which is unheard of for me because I’m REALLY difficult on my nails 😐). If you have a chance to stop in, I’d HIGHLY recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

A friend of mine recommended T Nail Bar and I visited the shop for the first time a couple of months ago. Kayla was my nail tech & she did an amazing job with making my vision come to life! The black matte and 3D flowers were beautiful—the matte stayed fresh the entire time I had it (which has never happened!!) definitely recommend!!

After more than a year getting nail care this was a wonderful way to get back into nail based self care! Ethan did a great job with the mani and pedi and I left feeling like a brand new person! Ill be back soon for a polish change!

I always get great service and quality when I come here. My friends say why do I travel almost an hour just to come here to get my nails and toes done, I say “when I find good service and the quality is even better I don’t mind the travel”. Every time I come here I get Kayla she does me right every time and she takes her time. I’m sure the rest of the nail techs do their thing too but I’ve been going to Kayla since I started coming to this nail shop and she do her thang! And especially since this pandemic they really make sure to keep everyone including themselves safe and the shop is clean and sanitized.

This has been my go to nail salon for about 2 years now. I always get good quality acrylics here and never experience chipping or lifting from my nails. I highly recommend this nail salon if you’re around the area.And even if you’re not around the area, it is still worth the drive. 🙃

I would recommend Tnail bar to anyone. I love the welcoming feel when you walk through the door. Everyone says hello and will assist you even if the person is not doing your nails. They are opened minded to my ideas for nails. I have never heard I can’t do. They can look at a picture and resemble the same exact one on your nails. I love how prompt they are with time. I usually come one my break and it literally take one hour depending on the design and I make it back to work on time. The pedicure selection and names of them are creative but most importantly the service is great. I took my daughter for her 5th birthday and now she wants to come back every time I have an appointment. I have never got attitude or bad service they even work with you if you have to reschedule. The most important thing to know is BOOK with and APPOINTMENT they seldom have walk ins.

I’ve never gotten my nails done before. Not even for prom (I went to Walmart and got some stick ons and called it a day). So my visit was the first time ever getting a mani/pedi. And let me tell you, it was great! I took my daughter as well and both techs in the shop were super kind, welcoming, comforting, and listened to what I wanted (and even listened to my 6 year old’s requests). They also entertained my daughter, who can be a handful because she just talks and talks and talks. My nails are absolutely perfect, they’ve never been this pretty! I did a last minute add on to my appointment and they not only accommodated, the vibe I got was “oh of course we’ve got time to do it!” Totally worth the money!

This is the go to nail salon. I live over 28 miles from this location and its my favorite!! The ladies are so nice and make you feel welcome. Its nice to be able to show a picture or explain what you want and get it. I have never been disappointed. During COVID they also have offered press on nails. I highly recommend this salon.

I got a pedicure done by Ethan and he is a magician. When I came home my husband was like wow this is the best pedicure you have gotten. I am a forever customer now. I love it, it’s super cute and clean inside and their Instagram is great!!

I got an acrylic ombre full set done but it was not a good experience. The girl who did my nails was not professional and she made my nails so thick that they looked awful and very unnatural. I was on a trip afterwards and kept wishing I had gotten my nails done from somewhere else .. for the money I paid I was expecting better results

I’ve been looking for a nail salon in Rogers Park since I moved to the neighborhood in June. I found out about T Nail Bar in instagram, and saw you could book appointments online. It was super easy & efficient. I got confirmation immediately, and text/email reminders a few days before. The space is super clean, beautifully decorated and everyone was so relaxed and kind. My nails still look fresh, after two weeks and I work in food service. This is my new spot for sure, so happy I found out about them!

Supporting a local, female-owned business should be a priority and T-Nail Bar is such. More of a nail salon (this aint no chop shop) it is hygienic, peaceful, courteous and professional. They are renowned for their acrylic work, but Im just fine with my thorough mani-pedis. One caveat: they do not carry the latest nail color collections and their selection is minimal, so BYOP....

I had a nail ... emergency we should call it, and they not only accommodated me wonderfully but they didn’t make it uncomfortable or anything of that sort or being it was such a small and quick service. I didn’t feel judged or like a bother either. They gave top notch service. The place was welcoming, the other customers were cool, the overall vibe was very nice. Also they followed all Covid protocol, and one thing I want to give kudos too, they all work together as a team, like mindlessly. That says a lot about a business. The owner, Tuyen, did my nails all 4 years in college. I have been waiting for her to come back to Chicago and once she opened her shop, I knew I had to go...yesterday was the day and of course she didnt disappoint. She uses the best products for her customers and she is the best at her craft. As I was a faithful customer then, now is no different and I will be back in 3-4 weeks (yes! my nails will last til then!)

I called to inform them that I was running 5 min behind. They essentially told me not to bother coming. I responded and told them that they would be losing a customer over 5 min and the lady said that it was okay that it didn’t matter.

I will never go to another salon. T Nail Bar is the best. Here’s why:- I’ve had 5 no-chip mains so far from T Nail Bar. 4 of those NEVER CHIPPED AT ALL. No pulling up at the sides, no cracks or chips. I work at a local business, and every customer was stopping to tell me how great my nails looked. My nails have gone from fragile and short to strong and long. When they remove my polish between manis, my nails look healthier every time.- The one “less-than-perfect” mani I received was a total fluke. There was an issue with the chemistry of the polish. When I noticed the polish looked pretty rough around day 4, the salon offered to fix it FOR FREE! Even though they have a busy schedule, they fit me in within an hour of my call. Their customer service is beyond amazing.- Every nail tech is talented. When they aren’t working on clients, they are practicing. They are always mastering current trends and finding new ways of bringing artistry to the salon. You don’t just get a mani, you get a piece of wearable art.- The prices are beyond reasonable. Comparable (if not lower) to other local salons. Of course they charge a fee if you don’t show up to your appointment... Their schedule is tight, and their time is valuable.- Everyone is so nice. Jazzie has been my main nail tech, and I’ve never met such a talented, hard-working person before. Whoever hires for the salon knows how to do their job. All the techs are passionate and lovely.Again, go to T Nail Bar. Make an appointment in advance. Bring cash to the appointment (they take cards, but there is a small fee). Enjoy having the best nails of your life.

T nail bar is, in my opinion, the best nail shop in chicago. everyone there is so dedicated to their work, and i have never heard of anyone going there and leaving unhappy. tuyen does my nails and if i dont have an idea in mind, i give her the freedom to do whatever she thinks ill like and she never disappoints. ill never go anywhere else, t nail bar is truly the greatest.

I am a cosmetologist and an RN. Very rare do you find places that actually use quality products, very clean and aseptic but also creative. On top of that the warmest and friendliest group of girls. I can be somewhat demanding (LOL) but never have I ever felt in any way they responded begrudgingly or in a way that made me uncomfortable for asking for a service. With all great services sometimes its to be expected for them to be booked and busy, so much so I drive all the way from Lafayette, IN (because I moved). I do not have any problem making an appointment for services I know will last, with no damage to my nail and still going as extravagant or conservative as I want without breaking the bank. That only implies they are as good as I think they are. 5 stars.

Everytime I have ever been here, its always taken atleast 2 hours for a simple fill& a basic paint. today, after getting my full set I have never been more upset with how my nails have turned out. I was cut and burned multiple times. my nail tech had glued herself to me 4 times, and when I asked for a 3 coat of paint she gave me an attitude. my nails are crooked, uneven, and blotchy because of my telling her how I like my nails to look. its over priced for doing such a bad job, I will never be coming back.
