Im just mad it took me so long to find this shop! I was a random walk in 3 months ago and havent left yet. I love my gel pedicures and gel manicures. Staff is friendly, professional, prompt. The space is clean and tidy with so many options for colors. I havent read the rest of the reviews yet but I will be surprised if anyone had a bad experience

Came in for the first time today and I love my nails! Sara was so meticulous, I’ve never seen my nails look so perfectly clean and pretty! I got a no chip mani and regular pedi, took just under 90 min total and I paid $65 + $20 tip. The salon is clean, bright and comfortable. Used their restroom and it was very clean too. They have massage chairs and had the tv playing w subtitles along with music at a comfortable volume. I will definitely be back :)

Efficient time wise, very clean facility and good music, but received a painful dipped nail set by the male employee on staff. You can see the cuts on my fingers middle, fourth, and pinky finger (photo taken a day after). Would go back but definitely ask for someone else.

Love this place for the quality of my no chip mani and my pedicure but booking a service is a nightmare! I really love these gals- it kind of makes me crazy that they don’t have an online portal and they don’t answer the phone. I cant ever get a hold of anyone to book an appointment.

I went here to get a dip manicure It was absolutely terrible. I had dip nails on and instead of soaking them off with acetone my technician decided to file them down which took almost an hour. I had shown him a picture of what I wanted and he told me that he could do it I wanted a very thin French manicure. He put on very chunky white tips and said it’s gonna be a little thicker. I said I don’t want it thicker can you not do it the way I showed you? He said no then proceeded to rip off the tips ripping off my nails in the process. The entire time he was commenting on how terrible my nails were. This took almost 2 hours of my day, I had to go to another salon for them to finish the job as I have a wedding this weekend. I will never be returning.

Excellent experience and service from the lovely people of Nails by Joy. They accommodated me with a last minute appointment and we’re extremely neat and detailed with my pedicure. Highly recommend!!

1st and last time I’ll come here to get a pedicure.Was scheduled for a manicure and pedicure but declined the manicure due to how poorly my pedicure went along with the technicians professionalism. After the 3rd time asking to remove the ingrown nails, she finally acknowledged I was not happy. She got up stormed off and came back and finished the pedicure without removing the in grown nails. I declined the manicure after and expressed my unhappiness of service. Still paid and no concern from her or staff.Very unprofessional and terrible experience!

I recently moved to the wicker park area and luckily found my go-to nail salon. I can tell the techs are particulate and prioritize quality. The place isnt big but its clean and cozy.

Nails by Joy is the BEST nail salon in the area. Hana did my nails and its an exceptional job. The salon is beautiful, clean, and sanitary, and the manicure work is some of the best Ive seen. Could not recommend anywhere else!

I just started going here after following my technician, Annie. Nails by Joy is a clean and comfortable place to get your nails done. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. They even give paraffin treatment on your heals included with a pedicure. The products they use are top quality and my regular manicure has already lasted six days without chipping. They also offer a punch card incentive for a free manicure.

This place is great! Their staff is really thorough and always does a great job on my nails. The pedicure is especially good, they use hot stones to massage your legs and do a hot wax wrap on your heels. My pedicure and no chip always last a long time without chipping. I would suggest calling ahead and making an appointment, Ive seen many people turned away who try to walk in without an appointment.

I walked in at 4pm on a Tuesday and was attended to immediately. Very thorough and clean. Great price at $30

Exactly 1 week later and my power dipped Manicure is lifting completely off the index finger. A costly discovery of poor quality work.

A young man did my nails he was very thorough and gentle. My no chip manicure has lasted a very long time.

Very clean and modern salon. My no chip lasted longer than 2 weeks which will keep me coming back. They also play sex and the city which is a +1 for me!
