Not even a week and they literary peeled off. Looks like I paid for press ons but I paid for a service that cost me way too much for it to last 5days! Trying to get a hold of them is impossible and decided that it was best for me to just write a review. Found them from Instagram and they had beautiful designs and was supper content with how they had actually turned out, thanks to Nora, which is why I’m even giving it a 2 ⭐️. But never again, it’s rare that I get my nails done at a salon and best believe I’m not going back to them if I ever decide to back to one. ✌🏼

The thing that sets Backstage Nails apart from other salons is that all of their employees do phenomenal work. I have had my nails done by Lena, Zukhra, and Nora and I am constantly blown away by the quality of their work. Backstage is always at the forefront of the industry (they carry trendy colors and do awesome nail designs/techniques). I am happy to pay the premium to leave 100% happy/satisfied.

I got a basic pedicure that was only 35 min long for $45!!! Way overpriced for nothing special. No massaging chair and very quick foot massage. The lady who did my nails did a good job so its not her fault just over-priced. I will not be returning. I can go across the street for $25 better service and better price.

Clean place with good products, but honestly I was disappointed when I paid $200 and my design looked like sea weeds, not flowers. I came because I saw the high quality of designs on their Instagram, but I must’ve gotten the rookie. I came back to get my gel extensions removed and the tech wanted me to leave with gel still on my nails. In both getting extensions and removing them I felt that the techs put minimal effort to get by, which was reinforced by “is this good enough for you?” questions both times. Probably not coming back.

I absolutely adore Backstage Nail & Spa. I was introduced to them by a friend and have been going since. I have recently gotten into nail design and I have gotten all of them done here. I can take any design and the ladies make it happen. I am always so pleased. They ways use clean, sterilized materials, and they pay such great attention to detail. Any chance I get I’m showing off my nails and sending people to Backstage!

Backstage nails has exceptional service. Julia is amazing!! Give her a design and she can recreate with ease. I love how she can memorize the image and just take her time to recreate the design. You would not be disappointed visiting Backstage Nails. I have found my new place for my no chips.

The staff is EXTREMELY rude. I wish I could leave 0 stars. I made an appointment for a no chip with design 3 weeks before my appointment because they were “booked” (although whenever I go there, there are only 2 customers). My nails broke within those 3 weeks from a previous manicure that was done at backstage nails so when I went for my appointment, I needed extensions. They refused to give me extensions and said I needed to book a new appointment that was another 3 weeks out for that. If an appointment is 3 weeks away, how am I supposed to know if I’ll need extensions or if a nail will break? The staff was so rude and I refuse to ever go back! If you want a friendly staff, I recommend NOT going to backstage nails. Jagi and the other girl that does extensions (not Lina), need to be fired ASAP!!!!

This place is amazing! I recieved probably one of the best no chip manicures Ive ever had. The attention to detail was impeccable. The layers applied were perfect. As many know, sometimes no chip can come out too thick - but that was certainly not the case here. Im so looking forward to heading back!

Ive recently had 3 no-chip manicures at BackStage. Im so impressed with how perfect, quite literally PERFECT my hands/manicures look when they finished. Not to mention, their no-chip manicures actually lasted over 2 weeks. This is a first for me. In fact, I probably could have even waited another week to get my next manicure, but I typically prefer my nail maintenance every 2 weeks.Im a makeup artist & hair stylist, so I pay attention to detail, with that said, I am very picky and quite difficult to please. However, this place has far exceeded my expectations. I have happily found my new place for manicures, and actually I am going to try their pedicure next time.

Super clean and cute inside. Manicure tools are properly disinfected and they do an amazing job with no chip mani and pedi. Paint to the edge, smooth paint job, can do designs, and the girls were so nice. Excellent service :)

I have never been so well taken care of at a nail appointment. This salon goes above and beyond. The ladies who work here are customer focused and offer a professional salon experience that I have not received anywhere else. They also have great promos ! I’ll definitely be giving them more business.

The ladies working on a Monday morning were focused and took excellent care of my group and myself. I’m very pleased with my pedi as I was passing through town on a spur of the moment trip. We all had a great time, very relaxed atmosphere and great service. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Plus 15% off for first time customers!

I used to love this place but my last visit was awful. I think it was this new girl who did my nails. I paid extra to remove my acrylic nail and they did not do their job properly. They dont have those electric nail filer, they kept on using the regular filer and took more than 2 hours to clean and do the manicure. The manicure did not even last 3 days, it started to chip off since they did not remove my acrylic nail properly. Moreover my nails were hurting so bad because of the filing.

These ladies are HANDS DOWN the best around. They are a Grade A European nail salon with first class customer service. I have been to over 25 places in Chicago EASILY and have never had a comparable experience. I’ve been coming here for about 6 months now and without a doubt, it’s the longest lasting no-chip, the highest quality art (if that’s your thing like it is mine), and when I didnt like something, they fixed it completely. If you have any hesitation on stopping in—erase it and make an appointment now! Thank you ladies! 🙏🏼

I will continue to make it a point to come in and see Kristyna (sp?) anytime Im in town. She is amazing. Service is top notch. Cleanliness, care, and attention to detail is better than any other nail salon Ive been to.The gel no chip manis will last WEEKS! I have to get them redone because of my nail growth but there is literally no chips or peeling that ever occur. And Im constantly working with my hands (washing dishes, lifting weights, house renovations, gardening, etc etc). Their mani and polish will not chip, or lift, or get caught in my hair!Makes me wish I lived in Chicago. 😕

When you get regular waxing (down there) ladies, you want someone with a quick hand, but you also need to feel like you are simply chatting with your girlfriend right? This is why I go to Iuliana. She is the most professional aesthetician I have ever had. Also, the spa is really lovely and the room is always the perfect temperature even during cold Chicago winter days. I started eyebrows and eyelashes with her now, she knows her craft ladies.
