I am one of Taday’s regular customers. I love the fact that I don’t have to travel far for quality nails and pedis. I usually go to Viki for my nails and pedicures, she’s really good. The shop manager is also very pleasant and hands on with clients. Highly recommend this shop!

Mae is awesome! She is nice and also good at what she does. She is gentle as well which I think is really hard to come across. Ive had very bad experiences with nail salons in Chicago, which resulted me in doing my own nails in the end even though I used to do nails. After my co-worker recommended Mae, I am very satisfied with the quality.

The service was not good at all nail service saturday bye Monday the nail polish was coming off would not fix the issue will never go back customer service stinks.

The staff servicing me really took his time to do my nails and to make sure they came out the way I wanted them. they also took his time making sure there were no mistakes, and fixed them if there were any. The pedicure was amazing, and again, they took time to make sure my nails were to my satisfaction. Will come back again when its time to do my nails again!

My nail tech is May! Shes amazing! They are All efficient and fast and they do not cost a lot! Ive been going to this establishment for a little over eight years and even though they have a new owner now the new owner is still just as great as the last one.

The shop owner is rude the techs are rude .. they have a sense of entitlement that they are doing you a favor so they can treat you poorly because you want your nails done or etc. they don’t seem to really like black people but because some of them are good at what they do black women are ok with the bad treatment which allows them to continue to create these bad moments. They are fully aware that we as a race don’t stick together so they don’t care if they lose a few clients. Next🤷🏾‍♀️

I got my no chip nails done on 6/25 and she did them fast. I complained about why there was so much of my real nail showing and another lady just painted over it. The next day my nail i called because my nail cracked and the paint chipped on another, and a man said I couldn’t have a refund he would give me a new set. However when i got there he only tried to fix the two nails that were broke and repainted the others. He still refused to give me my refund... it is now five days later and i woke upWith two broken nails🙄. I will never return here a waste of $53 and they didn’t even last a week

I love Taday nails and almost always get a perfect no chip manicure or eyebrow waxing from there. Very pleased with the overall service and selections .very friendly staff!

Clean and professional environment. The quality of product and skill level of laying smooth thin gel/acrylic is unmatched. I have been addicted to Taday nails for 2.5 years now. Tuan does an amazing job on LAYING SMOOTH GEL, and SHAPING my stiletto nails. My nails are always even. I get compliments all day everyday. Get there early, and prepare to wait because perfection takes time.

These people messed my eyebrows up. They were not shaped and extremley thin. Do not do business with them. I would give it zero stars if I could.they refused to give me a dicount and told me to not come back. They are under new owners. Trust me!! When i say stay away from this place its trash..

The worst service I ever received Twon has the poorest customer service and for him to be the shop owner he doesn’t know how to accommodate his customers he needs to train his employees on how to do a no chip manicure they polish so far away from the nail bed to where you literally will need a polish change less than a week and he never has heat in the winter time and he never has air conditioner in the summer! The worst never again✌🏿

This place is horrible. The receptionist very rude. There was a miscommunication on pricing. Instead of him to explain, he felt the need to scream in front of the whole salon. He proceeded to say that they don’t want to give me service. I agreed to his price but I started to cry because he was adding on to my stressful day. Then they didn’t want to give me service and wanted to call the police. I will never go there again. They are very rude

Its a hit or miss with this shop, the best customer service comes from the women. On numerous times theyve tried to give me gel when Ive asked for Acrylic, made up some random price to charge me, and were rough with their tools.

I had the worst service ever, I’ve been going here for quite awhile. I wanted my acrylic tips soaked off, it took them maybe 2.5 hours to do. I told the girl I wanted a fresh set, no you should do overlay on your own nails, fine I’m ready to go. She shaped my nails so horrible and painted them so bad.. I will not be returning.

The place is pretty decent. My technician took his time and did a beautiful no chip manicure. The customer service is straight forward and honest. As far as the work and quality I think this place is cool Im not sure if Ill call this home but definitely in the meantime.

I went to this nail salon for the first time yesterday to repair a broken nail and get some fresh polish. At no time did anyone there show any common kindness, say hello or even smile. The owner claimed he couldn’t pronounce my name which is Denise and even commented about how I wrote it, but whatever. When I sat down and told the nail tech again why I was there she said no problem and started to work. I noticed throughout she kept yanking at my hand as if to tell me to move position. After about the fifth time of yanking at my hand I politely asked her if she spoke English, and she said yes. I then let her know she could simply ask me to move in a different position rather than yanking at me. She never even said anything after that. Nothing. I simply did not matter to her and will never give another dime to this place.

Cheap and easy. Its not really a spa. Its more like a nail shop. But you are going to get in and out quickly and for a little bit of money. They take appointments which is hard to find in some neighborhoods. Its not fancy nor luxurious but it gets the job done. Everyone was nice and professional. You have to have cash for tips.

Please do not put yourself through the strife of this place. If you want real nail care, if you’re particular about the style or health of your nails, if you love yourself...STAY AWAY.On the other hand if you want something quick, careless, and cute on the surface don’t let me stop you.There’s a huge communication barrier that prevented me from getting anywhere with this place. I’ll never go back.I ended up paying for something that wasn’t what I asked for and couldn’t be corrected. Never again.

This place does AMAZING nails. Quality is superb. However, the wait time is beyond excessive. It is counterintuitive to the idea of a spa being relaxing. On several occasions I have waited hours to be called my turn and still forced to wait extra time to be tended to. I would still recommend if you adequately estimate how much time youre willing to wait any given day and tack on an hour or two.

Now they could have gotten 5 stars. However on several occasions I have had to go back because of rushed work. And its always puckered polish because nail tech dont use enough base or whatever its called so polish will adhere to the nail. Yes there is always a wait. But I clear my schedule so if I have to wait no problem however I dont want to keep running back for something that should be done correctly the first time.

My $30 no chip lasted 5 days - not 2-3 weeks as promised. The manager insisted the streaks and discoloration was not their fault and further suggested that my nails were dirty. Taday will not see me as a client tamorrow.

I’ve been going to Tuan since he was on 51st and would always ask for him by name. I went away to college and always would come to him to pamper myself. Once he opened his shop it didn’t matter who would do me nails. I go on days that aren’t busy so I can’t complain about the wait. I travel all the way from Marquette Park to have services done and will continue to. Good Job Tuan & Keep It Up.. 💋💅🏾

I decided to give them a chance after reading the reviews many times and they are close to home. Normally they are too busy but this time they werent so I thought I would have time to get quality service. I started with a pedicure which was okay except I came in with a nice length and left with very short toe nails. They just need to be shaped evenly and painted. Now going into the full set experience. I asked the nail tech if he was going to push back and clip the cuticles before they put on the nails they told me that is a separate service and extra price. I asked them not to used the drill. They told me they couldnt do my nails without using the drill. The nail tech was rude and said do you want the full set or not. This should have been my alert to leave but I was going to give it a try. Once he was done with everything I stated this doesnt look right. You could see a bit of my nail between the full set and my cuticle/skin area. I asked the nail tech what is this and he tells me its my skin. He calls the manager and they tell me once I put on some lotion it will look better. Here is what my nails look like after only two days and spending $22 on a full set. It looks like I need a fill in already. I always wondered why women nails look a mess after they say they had they nails done and this is why because they want to charge extra for a service that should be included in the whole process. This looks a mess as my friend said after seeing my hands.

ZERO stars. My toe was cut during a pedicure and Eva laughed. She put some blue ointment on it before I could see what it was. One month later and my toe is still swollen where it was cut. I even got a tetanus shot as the tools used are placed in an oven instead of brand new for each client.

I Called The shop at 6:15 asking if mama was there after checking and seeing when they closed on google(7pm it said )for eyebrows they said yes. I made it to the shop at approximately 6:30 or before. When I arrived the sign by the door said Monday’s they close at 7:30pm I opened the first door which was unlocked then proceeded to open the second door but it was locked I pulled the door twice in which it didn’t open then finally the man look up and said “ were closed” then got back to working on the lady. Overall I was very disappointed in my experience here they would get 0 stars if I could!

I love Taday Spa when they do a good job. Im always satisfied with my nails and feet. The only thing I dont like is that the wait time can be a bit much, so come early! Also, they let a new girl who didnt speak english do my eyebrows. She acted like she understood me but she obviously didnt because she messed them up. They acted like it was my fault. It at least couldve been free for the inconvenience. Ive only been back once since and that was an emergency. I will be finding a new nail shop where I know for sure theyre licensed.

Shop is ok. Guy who manages place is kinda brass. He tries to be cool but hes kinda rude has an arrogance abt him. Hes pretty good so hes asked for alot. So, he goes super fast. Ok but not ok for me. Because, hes at the front desk and he does nails at the front he delegates the customers to the workers so while ur sitting there and hes doing ur nails hes constantly yelling bk and forth across the room which i think is extremely unprofessional!!! I could go on and on abt my dismay. But, Im tired of typing. So, go at ur own discretion. It depends on your level of expectations from these shops out here. Theyve taking ova, the workers barley speak or understand English and the customer service sucks and they dont give back to the community! Ever!!! But, we still go faithfully and give them our money! SMH!

Ive been going here for years but they are skimping on the massage after the manicures and pedicures and the attitudes are rushy and dry... especially for the amount of money they charge.

I have been going to Taday since I was 17. In this year, 2018, I will be 25. I came into the shop recently on a Saturday at aprox. 11:05a. I came in for a powder dip mani with tips and a regular pedi. Usually I am in and out with the exact same service in about 1.5 hours. This time I did not leave until after 4p. I witnessed three women leave claiming they had been waiting for three hours. I truly had nothing to do that day (thankfully) so I waited. Twan, the owner, kept saying there were only three people doing nails that day. When everything was over I asked my nail tech if I could have a discount for being there for five hours. He forwarded me to another nail tech who spoke better english. I said the same thing to her and she said everyone has been waiting a long time. I asked her, for five hours? she, with obvious attitude nodded and said yes!. She then said I could ask Twan directly so I did. Twan immediately got defensive and said there was only one person who could do the powder dip I needed - even though he suggested I get that service since I told him I had developed an allergy to gel and acrylic. Then, my nail tech pops up and says (in english, which he pretended he couldnt understand when I asked about the discount) well you didnt let you fingers soak long enough - not only as if that would have added another hour to my mani, but not to mention he had my hands in pure acetone over boiling hot water, which made it unbearably hot, while he took his thirty minute lunch break. I contested still. Twan finally says hell grant me a $5 discount which brought my total to $65, but not without first informing me that this money was coming out of his pocket. Last visit I paid $64 for the exact same thing, so when I asked why after my discount it was still more than my last visit. He informed me the prices had changed. The pedis are now $10 more and instead of the prices being written on the giant chalk board in the front of the shop like they always were, he printed them on office paper and taped them on the tinted windows of the shop. Also, they havent done the cash discount in three years.....It became clear to me that not only does loyalty mean nothing, but they think its acceptable for people to be waiting for three hours. The quality of the nails work has gone downhill since I first went and the staff is far too lackadaisical when its packed full of customers. Twan only cares about squeezing as much cash out of the upper middle class demographic that frequents this spot and is pretty disrespectful to people who have legitimate questions about his practice. Really hate to do it but I cant come back here. I will be seeking a professional shop.

Cant give them half a start because I would however the nail tech that did my nails was wonderful. Shes the only reason I wanted to go back. You see I got my nails done there once before.. since they had lines out the door I figure I would give them a chance. The wait time is crazy but I knew I would be waiting long. When I went to get my fill in I waited for about a hour and a half and before I decided to step out for a cigarette. I asked the guy at the front desk how long till I was called & he asked for my name again & then he told me where I was on the list & it was cool for me to step out. I was outside for seven minutes before I came in & say down for 30 minutes until I looked up & learned that my nail tech was doing somebody elses nails. I was furious but not wanting to be the angry black chick I just asked the guy how long again. I told him how I noticed n my nail tech had another client & what was going on because I was next... All he could say is ok ok youre next. Some other client came in to complained about her broken nail & he told her they would take care of it. Agreed some time I noticed he was telling her that shes going to take you as he pointed to my nail tech. Im thinking to myself I know shes not gonna go before me. So I waited to see what was about to happen next & you wont believe he let the broken nail client go first. Thats when I got up & left. SMH they dont respect us so I wont be giving them any more of my money.
