I only had a belt buckle swapped on a leather belt so far, but I can honestly say that the experience was a 10. William is a joy to speak with, so personable. I got my belt back a lot faster than the time quoted and the quality of the work is amazing!!! Hands down my new go to repair shop.

Where do I even begin? After researching multiple places in Chicago, I settled on Without a Trace to repair my YSL handbag. There were some pretty large repairs to do (tears, rusting, paint) and I was skeptical anyone would be able to take it on. Not only was the service amazing from when I walked in, but Without a Trace finished the repairs two weeks in advance. My bag looks better than the ones I’ve seen new at Neimans. I am so impressed and will returning for sure with more bags and clothing. If you’re looking to get anything repaired and support small business during this time - look no further. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

Expert workmanship and great service. The work they do is truly amazing. Ihave been using Without A Trace for several years to clean my shearling coats. Last year, I took my Louie travel bag to them for refurbishing. I wish I had a before picture because this thing was in such horrible shape I was expecting them to say nothing could be done to save it. Well they worked their magic and about a month later I picked up a bag that looked brand new (after picture attached). Most recently I took an old fur coat I inherited from my grandmother and asked if it could be made into a blanket. Again Without A Trace (specifically Bob the furrier, who I might add is AMAZING to work with) worked their magic and the end result far surpassed my expectations (picture attached). If you need to have something restored back to like new condition I would highly recommend you take it here.

I sent them a leather Tumi briefcase for some customisation work. It came back exactly as I had imagined it. Faultless work and my idea perfectly executed.

Without a trace did outstanding work on an overcoat that I tore. I shipped the coat in from New York and got it back within two weeks. The prices charged were substantially lower than prices in the New York City area. And the work was terrific. Cannot tell that there was a tear.

Amazing work! Gave them a leather Prada bag that has followed me around the world and it showed. I picked up the bag and it looked brand new! Completely worth the price. Give them the bag you dont believe can be repaired...

STAY AWAY -Send them a bag for cleaning, came back painted a completely different color. They claim that they told it known that cleaning and painting is the same thing. Which is absurd.If you care about your stuff, stay away from this place. Contemplating a small claims suit at this point.

I have brought many sweaters in to be rewoven which they do extraordinarily well, but was surprised to learn that they do fur repairs and design updates as well.I took my hooded white mink/white leather reversible jacket in to see what they could do about the sleeves that had worn, since the rest of the jacket was in pretty good shape.
