Very nice, clean and the ambiance is soothing. The only reason I didnt give it all 5 stars is the language barrier. They didnt clearly understand me until they grabbed a 3rd person. Great place overall

Beautiful experience. It was however the most expensive massage I have ever had. 50 min coming in at over $300USD.

What a shame because this spa would get 5 stars from me for the 90 minute massage I had. Unfortunately I’m giving it one star now because I don’t think I’ll ever be back due to the fact that I’ve phoned 3 days in a row trying to book myself along with 2 of my friends for massages and other treatments but unfortunately I’ve not had a call back. Guess I’ll be spading a few thousand somewhere else.

I was given a gift card for the spa and made an appointment for the foot retreat. They ask you to come thirty minutes early for paperwork, which is very quick. I was given a tour of the facility, shown to the locker room and given a robe. You can take advantage of the wet sauna, two dry saunas and relaxation lounge with heated loungers while you wait. Very relaxing atmosphere. My treatment was done by Christine and she was wonderful. The room is a little bigger than I am used to which was nice. After treatment you can use the pool and hot tub, though I didnt. It is an expensive spa so not something I would do regularly but as a treat it was perfect.

The Fitness Center has been updated with equipment including a Power Rack, Concept 2 Rower and Power Blocks that go up to 120 lbs. There are over 20 fitness classes per week, including favorites like Aromatherapy Yoga, Mat Pilates and the Chuan Shred (awesome fat burner!). The pool and hot tub are first class all the way, though weekends can get busy with families. The locker rooms over deliver with recovery and relaxation options galore, ranging from the Far Infrared Heated Chairs of the Relaxation Room to the Himalayan Salt room as well as Dry and Wet Saunas. The treatment rooms are all well done with every one of the therapists very good at what they do.

The Best in Chicago! Ive been to most of the 4 n 5 star. From Trump to Four Seasons n Peninsula, by far this is the best!

Gross. The aromatherapy showers werent working, one of the two steam rooms was broken, and one of four warm stone lounges was broken. Couldnt understand the woman who gave me a tour at all. There was a very high level of street noise in the relaxation room. I am also fairly certain that there is prostitution going on there. I was told that all of the treatment rooms have two massage tables and a shower, and there was an unusual number of couples getting massages at lunchtime on a Monday. Ive been to a LOT of spas, and this one is not ok. I actually left without getting my treatment, which Ive never done before.

A spa that suits a great hotel!Took my SO to the Chuan Spa for a special celebration. I had scheduled a couples’ massage a few days in advance for a Sunday afternoon. They were booked up, except for a 6:30 time slot, so we took it.The Chuan is immediately very relaxing. We were a little late so the masseuses met us with glasses of prosecco and took us directly back to the couples’ massage room. They brought bags for us to put our clothes in, to take to the locker rooms later.We had two excellent 90 minutes Deep Tissue massages. They were experienced masseuses and were very attentive to our needs. When we were done, we sat in the relaxation room for another glass of complimentary prosecco for another half hour. Eventually, we retired to the luxurious dressing rooms. Great sauna, steam room and rainforest shower. Extravagant.Expensive but worth it!

I’ve had several hot stone massages here, and the experience is always wonderful. The saunas, steam room and heated lounge chairs in the locker room are amazing as well.

Great facilities. Nice people. But a mandatory 23% tip is crazy. My tip I had to pay was $58 . It brought my total to $314 for. 50 min facial. Thats crazy. The facial was a joke. I only had 3 minutes w the steam on. Thats not enough time to open the doors so I told her not to extract because Im not damaging my Pores! She put a pineapple peel on me and took it off immediately. Thats not going to remove the dead skin lady! And I only got a 5 min face massage. Thats all my facial was.no machines, nothing. I could have put product on my face and got the same result. Thus, I wouldnt recommend u waste ur money... give it to me instead. Lol

I attended this spa on 6/14 and the spa was nice but i had a very bad experience with the customer service agent charge my card fraudulently .I purchased my voucher from gilt city and i got it for a great deal $245.00! it included a massage, glass of win(which i did not receive) and a chocolate bar. When i first arrived i was greeted by the young lady and she proceeded to look me up and found me and ask for my gilt city voucher which i gladly gave her to scan in her system. After my treatment i went back to the young lady to check out and turn in my card she gave me to access the locker room and etc, she states to me Ok, everything is already taken care of with your gilt city voucher and all there is to pay is a $45.00 service fee so i said fine and gave her my credit card. Once she ran my credit card she ran it for $245.00 the same as the gilt city voucher which i already paid for a month in advance and provider to her once i arrived at the facility. Once she gave me the receipts to sign i told her im not signing this because you told me its 45.00 service fee not 245.00! i told her i want her to reverse my money asap and she had an attitude and wanted to refuse but she knew that i knew how gilt city works it prepay not pay on arrival and plus she stated earlier that everything was taken care of by the gilt city voucher. she reverse the amount of $245 but i still have not received it till this day!I called the spa today (6/15) and explained what happen to the manage Adita and she only she stated she can only gift me a day pass to the pools, which i already received because that came with my voucher purchase, and totally ignored my grievances and try to offer me something with any value after one of her employees basically committed fraud on my credit card and for that I ADVISE YOU GUYS NOT TO GO THERE AND SPEND ANY MONEY WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY COULDVE DID THIS TO A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DONT KEEP TRACK OF THEIR CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS.

The facility is quite nice but there were 5-10 children in the pool splashing and screaming. Please dont claim to be a 5 star spa and then let children in.

Amazing little piece of heaven in downtown Chicago. Will be back.
