I was able to get my iPhone 11 screen repaired and they we’re able to fix it within 3 hours. No appointment needed. After a week of getting the screen repaired, it suddenly stopped working. I took it back in and they we’re able to fix it in less than an hour! The staffs are very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend this place for getting your screen replaced. The price are affordable compared to other places!

Excellent service, and truly competent engineers!I had my Google Pixel 3 repaired and I was told it had issues from the factory. The antenna was never correctly mounted inside. I took my primary laptop here for service a couple of years ago and Alex fixed it very quickly without charging an arm and a leg. Recently I took in my other laptop which wouldnt turn on and runs on Win XP, because the antiquated music program I use wont work on Win 10. Alex not only got the machine up and running but now the music program works as well. And, he didnt charge me! I highly recommend them. Outstanding service and very honest and fair in their dealings!

Had a laptop motherboard diagnosed here a while back and was told Id be better off returning the motherboard instead of paying them to repair it. I appreciate them not trying to make money on something that wasnt worth repairing and I still had the option to return to the seller.Brought my phone with a cracked screen in a couple of weeks ago. Given an ETA of one week for the new screen to arrive and be installed. Repair was done within a week as promised. Looks like new, and the cost was reasonable.Ill definitely be back whenever I need repairs for both personal and work devices.

They offered to fix an HDMI port for my PS4. Instead of saying that they could not fix it, they replaced the port, gave it to me, and it did not work. Simple as that.EditI left this review with one star. Within a day they called me back and offered further assistance. Alex, the guy who worked on my PS4, asked for me to bring it in and see that it worked on his television. It did in fact work on his TV. He said to bring in my television and maybe then they could fix the problem. I wound up figuring it out on my own, regardless it was so refreshing to receive quick and kind customer service that really cared about my opinion. I’m definitely coming back here, recommending this place to anyone with tech problems, and feel like such an a**hole after being so quick to judge such a wonderful shop.

Chicago Gadgets has been my go to place for repairs of all devices (kids gaming systems) to tablets and phones. We have also purchased a number of refurbished and unlocked products from them over the years and each one has lasted a long time (years). They have good COVID-19 precautions in place.

Its great to find a place that can fix electronics. Took my sons 3DS and they fixed the on/off button and top lid screen. Reasonably priced.They also have phones and tablets for sale if you are looking for a used item.

I found this company on OfferUp and it was only a mile from my house. I needed a phone for downloading some apps and Chicago Gadgets had a HUGE selection of great iPhones for amazing prices! The manager helped me pick the best phone for what I needed and the transaction was super easy. I felt really safe because everyone had masks on and there was plexiglass around the counters. Even better, there was actually ample parking! I would definitely come back here for any electronics I need in the future

So happy Chicago Gadgets reopened recently. In the past, they have fixed an I Pad and Acer tablet for us. Today we picked up our sons Acer tablet after Gadgets replaced its touch screen. Very reasonable charge and done a week sooner than originally quoted.Would highly recommend Chicago Gadgets as the best place to take your cell phone, tablets, etc. in need of repair. Friendly and knowledgeable staff add to a positive experience.

Definitely a bit higher in prices!! Despite from the other reviews I thought it would be a bit cheaper for a refurbished phone not a big selection either plus the customer service could have definitely! been a bit nicer the young lady working most definitely seemed like she did not want to be working there. Suggestion maybe smile a bit or say hello or even welcome in the store!

I have an iPhone 7 and the screen needed to be replaced so I could upgrade my phone. I originally went to uBreakIFix and had such a bad experience, they had defective parts and tried to upsell me. I took my phone back and brought it here. Chicago Gadgets fixed it in under an hour (instead of 3) and was $30 less than any other place. Highly recommend!

The service team, technician and I think it was the owner himself were all extremely helpful and kind to me. I had to find a new phone, and fast after the one I had for years is finally bit the dust. My adorable child callously stuffed a business card into the disk drive of my PS4 console. Alex dissembled the device, removed the offending object without damaging the drive, replaced the heat sink due to the disassembly, cleaned the interior, and reassembled the console like new. He showed great care and expertise despite my device not being market typical. I highly recommend Chicago Gadgets, they know what’s up.

Quick and easy shopping! I came in to get an iPhone 6 that I need to use for a very specific reason. The sales was understanding and pointed me in the right direction quickly. Very nice condition product for my needs and a great price. I was going to buy off eBay or Craigslist but this was much more comfortable as I a could see what I was getting. They through in a free case and guaranteed satisfaction for my first week. She also explained that if I was unhappy passed a week they would work with me on an exchange or upgrade. My Microsoft Surface 4 crashed and I was told that it could not be repaired. I performed an internet search and came across Chicago Gadget. The store is located in an inconvenient location for me but it was certainly worth the trip. The staff is quite friendly. The technician that assisted me was Ali who could not be nicer. More importantly he was able to disassembly and fully repair the laptop in one day for an incredibly fair price. The unit works better than new. I would recommend Ali and the store to anyone that requires electronic repair services. This is simply a great place to do business.

I have had a few things fixed by them. An iPad. A pixel 2 xl. Just recently I dropped my phone and it didnt want to turn on. I tried to reset it but didnt work for me. I hand my phone to Liz and she resets it with in 10 seconds. Phone turns on. Im happy I dont need a new phone now. Didnt get charged .

Took my xbox one x in for repairs. Did an excellent job diagnosing the problem. Although they werent able to repair it (faulty motherboard from Microsoft) they tried their best to do so. They didnt charge me since it was unrepairable. Even had several phone calls keeping me informed of the process throughout. Prices for repairs is excellent compared to other similar stores. Great place to get your electronics fixed. The employees are so nice and answered all my questions. Emmanuel particularly stood out because of his great customer service skills. He is a natural and I loved interacting with him. My phone was fixed within 2 hours and while I was waiting, he advertised a couple of gadgets in the store the best way possible. This prompted my friend and I to purchase an Apple watch and an iPad for a decent price. He also held really nice conversations and made me forget I was waiting to get my phone fixed. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to people because of him.

They are the best for used phones. I search on ebay, swappa and everywhere else and all my recent purchases were from here. Their prices are great, the phones are in incredibly good shape, better than online, comes with a charger and a 7 day return warranty if something does not work. I havent had any issues yet and I am sure I will be back.

I absolutely love Chicago Gadgets. I’ve gotten two phones fixed there and the service is pristine. After I dropped my iPhone, there were some lines on the screen and they honored my 30 day warranty no problem. All 4 women at the front are super nice and helpful, they offered me water and cookies while I waited for my phone. My iPhone5 battery was literally dying (It drained 1%/min) so I found this shop and was able to change my battery in less than 20 minutes! I used the Yelp deal so it was even great. It has been a few weeks since I visited here and my battery is lasting really long! Very satisfied and will definitely revisit.

Fantastic helpful staff! Friendly and went out of their way to help my friend. His vape mod had a couple of loose screws and they not only didnt charge him to tighten the screws, Ali even gave him a tool to take home in case the screws become loose again. This place is amazing!!! All other Game Console Repairs centers told me $100 and a 7-9 wait. My PS4 HDMI input was broken on Sunday and I got a call on Wednesday Saying it was repaired and ready for pick up. Highly recommend them even if the drive is a hour away.
