I have been living in this building for some time and never had a had a manager who actually takes the time out to listen. Ashley W. has helped tremendously in her short time here and I feel as if we have someone who takes their job seriously. I thank her for all the help getting the laundry room back up and running thank you !! Awesome work.
My move has been great and very convenient. I now live 5 minutes from my job and my building consists of tenants who look out for each other. My property manager has a very pleasant personality and has been very professional. Its been a long time since Ive lived in a complex with management. Ive been sharing my experience with family and friends.

Ashley W. Woods, have made my living experience one of the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to renting. The first time I met her she knocked on my door introduced her self as the property manager gave me her telephone number. Anytime I would call Ashley about the security being compromise; entrance not closing she would take care of it, steps having gaps leading to the second floor, done. A.W.W. Is a take charge lady. She will be missed in zone 4.
Easy and convenient online process for renewing my lease -- however I hope there will be opportunities to talk to a property manager face-to-face and not go totally electronic.
The worst leasing company in Chicago. Been here 4 months and Im not happy. Maintenance is terrible, Management is even worse. Would not recommend.
Haven’t had hot water in 4 days! 4 days!! No notices, no call backs, and have been calling Resident Care for 3 days with no luck. Nobody is here to help at all. Please Don’t Rent Here unless you want your packages stolen as well!!! Been here 3 years but this last one has been unbearable.
I have been calling with maintenance issues for my refrigerator since 3/26/21. After multiple failed attempts to repair the refrigerator I was finally promised a new appliance on 5/7/21 and have yet to receive it or at least a follow up call. I have lost hundreds of dollars in groceries and I am unable to store breastmilk for my infant. I have made multiple calls pleading for a new appliance or status update with no response. I will now be seeking legal counsel.

This is the worst company ever. (5901 S Michigan) The furnace goes out at least twice a week and its hell trying to get someone to light it. I have to put in a work order for mice at least once a week. Its trash in the front and back of the building. Doing the winter time they didnt shovel. Its just the worst I dont recommend 0/10
There was water leak from above my apartment maintenance fixed it within hours ...so kudos to pangea.
I always love the service. They tend to you needs in a timely manner. Even the smallest things, they are serious about taking care of.
The service person arrived promptly, following my instructions to call first. He took care of the problem to my great satisfaction and followed safety protocols.
Zone 6 leasing agent Tatiera is so SUPPORTIVE and consistent! Im so glad she was my agent! She is very patient and showed actual interest in being an advocate for me in getting this apartment! Her professionalism was impressive and I would recommend her to anyone interested.
I recently started renting an apartment from Pangea. Ive been a tenant for 3 months. I quickly had to find a new place to live and move in, and they were efficient and very nice. I went into the office and the young lady who helped me fill out my lease was very helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend leasing from Pangea. You talk to real people and they make it easy and understandable. Really a great place!
I want to leave a review for my agent Tatiera from zone 6. She was prompt, greeted me with a huge smile and maintained professionalism the entire time, which is very important to me. Tatiera checked in to see how things were going and also sent a congratulations text when I got the unit. She was a delight to work with. One lasts thing, I can tell she loves what she do.
They made the move-in process simple and professional. Good experience overall.
Unprofessional and careless, the apartment I was forced to settle for I’ve been having plumbing issues with since I moved in 2 weeks ago, they respond to the work or but just do a temporary fix. I can’t use my toilet or shower/tub comfortably

Not satisfied Im paying rent and my pangea account studying sending me emails saying Im not. Ive called pangea and left voicemail even told my landlord and no one seems to care so unprofessional. I have proof.
Do.not rent at 5300 S.Michigan Ave 8 units already moved out because mices are out of control Pangea take forever for work order pest control dont really help mices from coming in because they will glue holes on carpet where holes are then 3-4days mices chewing on holes Daniel the owner is a nasty owner he doesnt care about tenants he will put new refrigerator and stove in then next 2-3months you will see mices out of control do not rent there! Im currently moving out in few days NOW THERE A NEW OWNER NAME VICKY

Zone 6 staff Lakila and Tatiera are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The moving process was a smooth transition because they answered all questions accurately and they exhibit patients when questions were asked multiple times.

If I could give them no stars I would. I’ve been a tenent for 3 yrs & have to argue & get upset every time something needs to be fixed. Just had an issue where the maintenance guy came & took my lock off my door & left my apartment unsecured. There’s 50 managers & no one takes responsibility for anything. They have a customer service line to report problems & put in maintenance requests but that’s all they do. I just asked for Pangea’s corporate number & office address & was told that wasn’t possible. Who is responsible for managing all of these incompetent people? I’m so frustrated every time I have to deal with them. The receptionist at the office on 4801 s Drexel, Chicago, Illinois 60653 is the only person that seems to care. The worst reality ever. The apartments are not of good quality. Plumbing is horrible & etc.
DO NOT STAY HERE! “It’s an old building” meaning the walls are tissue paper thin, you will hear everything and I do mean EVERYTHING at ALL types of the night. They steal your packages and no one will do anything about it even though it’s “24 hr surveillance” Yea right. And heaven forbid you have an inconsiderate upstairs neighbor.If you do stay, don’t do a year lease. Trust me.Worst apartment experience EVER.The staff (minus the building manager or whoever has access to the “cameras”) is nice though.
I have live with Pangea for about 2yrs now, I have recently caught like 10 mice in my apartment went to my property manager about it he told us he knew he been getting complaints but yet nothing was done. Had to go through hell & hot water for someone to come out now, Im looking to just move into another building and they are trying to give me the hardest time. I wouldnt recommend pangea to anyone when I 1st moved in it was great but after a while they seem to forget. Not to mention I have had a new property manager every 4 months so we never know who to actually speak with. I am dissatisfied and cant wait to move out. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤦🏽♀️
I called yesterday for a maintenance request at 3:35pm. A young man named Taiwan, Terran, LaQuan, (something similar to that) answered the phone in a laughing fit. He asked for my information to verify my account. Well, he wasnt hearing my response because he couldnt stop his giggling. Still laughing, he replied, would you repeat the address part?. I smiled as I said, youre laughing so hard you cant even hear me. Just as I was gonna say, whats funny? I wanna laugh too, he hung up the phone.I called back and someone picked up. I could see it was time lapsing on the display indicating an active call but no one would say anything. I heard light ruffling, as if someone was struggling with a headset. I kept asking if someone was there, but after 27 seconds I disconnected the call.Now, I know cell phones are irratic and subject to dropped calls but I assure you this was intentional. I had full bars and was in a stable zone.That was very unprofessional conduct.

Ive had water problems in my apartment for months now and no one seems to care or be concerned. I have put in work orders but no one seems to get to them until the problem worsens . And even then its patch work or cover ups but the problem still exists. I will no longer recommend pangea to anyone. The one star is just for location.
Excellence is what comes to mind when I hear the name Pangea. The customer service I revceive is second to none. I am particularly enamored with the staff in Zone 6. The Zone 6 staff continues to meet and exceed my needs as a tenant. I wake up each day knowing that I am supported by a team of individuals who are committed to the well-being of its occupants. Moving here has been one of the best decisions Ive made over the past year! Thank you Pangea!! I been living here for about 2 months, i had a couple of issues since i been here but the landlord have been very helpful and kind. Every issue i had was taking care of immediatly. I like staying here. The building is always clean and maintanice is always ready. I would recommend pangea to all my friends.

I had a few issues 1 of my issues within an hour they were ready to take care of the problem I have been a tenant for almost 2 years all my experiences have been a delight customer service are professional and attentive my property manager Evelyn goes beyond the call of duty she responds immediately and work with me if I have any problems satisfied tenant
