North + Vine is the best modern building in the bustling historic old town neighborhood. The amenities, safety protocols and staff are top notch! If you are looking to move or even if you arent you check it out. They offer a variety of units/layouts with incredible views. Pool season is coming, dont delay checking it out!
This is real luxury don’t be fooled by some of the other buildings. Thanks N&V
We looked at this building as another option for my move to Chicago. It was probably the worst experience I have ever had. The lack of care or regard for people with special needs or disabilities is disgusting. Rather than listening and trying to understand my needs they simply rattled off their policies over and over. Basically saying that they could care less about my disability and needs and essentially saying I either needed to accept their policies even if they do conflict with federal ADA policies. Stay away! especially if you, your family or anyone close to you have any sort of disabilities.Update: The response below from the business manager she was copied on every single communication and was fully aware of how we were treated yet she never even once reached out or so much as sent an email to try an understand what was happening yet here she is loud and proud on a Google review. Please spare me the We are sorry to hear about your experience line you were very much a part of the terrible experience!
Excellent Amenities, location, dog friendly, parking garage, neighborhood. Has everything you need and right by Red Line. Looking forward to life at North & Vine post Covid restrictions.
This place is so beautiful...mask wearing are enforced and environment is very conducive.
North & Vine is an exceptional piece of property. The amenities, location and great staff make this property feel like I am living at an exclusive complex. 633 West North Ave defines Chicago living. One might say that you shouldnt take amenities for granted, but I sure do living here! Gym, Large pool deck, grills, gym, rooftop lounge, bikes and electric scooters! Did I mention the gym? It doesnt take long to realize you are living in a prime location after a couple days of exploring. To the east...Old Town/Wells. To the west...North Ave/Clybourne corridor.
North and Vine is situated in a great location in Old Town, Chicago. However, many things slip through the cracks with the management team and the communication between residents and management is quite poor. Rent payments and additional charges were confusing and not transparent. It was common for my rent balance to be wrong and it would only be corrected after several emails and phone calls (if it was fixed at all). Throughout the COVID pandemic, the management team was constantly changing rules and rarely communicated these changes or enforced mask-wearing in the building. The main amenity spaces were well maintained but the dog spaces were almost unusable. The dog run was not cleaned often enough and would reek most of the year. It was common for most of the run to be yellow/brown or to see algae growing (see picture attached). The dog wash also often smelled of rotten eggs and was very rarely stocked or fully working (i.e. dryer was broken for months despite submitting maintenance requests to fix it). The back hallway entrance (which dog owners must use) also smells terrible most of the year. Additionally, the elevators were down at least once a week and the management team rarely acknowledged this or communicated with residents a plan to fix them. I would warn against living here if you are not physically able to walk up stairs if needed. There were many times when only one elevator was working which led to a huge backup. There were also times when none of them worked despite workers being sent out repeatedly to fix them. Overall, it is important to get everything in writing from the management team because they do not communicate with each other and many promises/expectations did not end up being the reality.
