Our apartment is beautiful and management has been mostly responsive to maintenance requests. We live in a location that makes package delivery difficult and I was a bit frustrated by the lack of problem solving on staffs part when I called to express concern; however, when I emailed my concern to management, the problem was addressed with more feasible solutions. Marni is appreciated!Update: our lease is coming to an end so updating to reflect our entire 2-year experience.DLG was flexible and allowed us to extend our lease by a couple months which was helpful! The package situation was never addressed. Folks complained about missing packages during the entire time we were there- DLG seemed unwilling to update the system which was disappointing. The Sheridan/ Lunt building became a bit of minefield of pet waste in the back in 2021, which seems to be more of an issue of inconsiderate neighbors (who lets their pets poop on narrow concrete walkways without cleaning?!?) than management, but it have been nice if that area were regularly cleaned up by maintenance, especially when the issue was brought to their attention.All-in-all, an average experience for us. The units are beautiful and DLG is responsive and takes action toward issues that have a simple fix. You won’t have unaddressed maintenance issues in your units and the communication is usually pretty solid. I would consider renting from them again, but some room for improvement to be a “world class” service.

I recommend working with Dee... She is OVER THE TOP a polished, professional leasing agent who should in fact teach other agents in the industry. DLG has an amazing portfolio of units and buildings in the Chicago area that are so well maintained... You can just TELL that DLG treats their employees like gold.. Because that is what they are delivering to their future tenants..

Wow! Moved into a great unit in July. Had a small plumbing leak a month later. The tenant portal makes requesting maintenance so easy and the staff was great at following up. From request to repair was less than 24 hours. Christine at the office was friendly and phenomenal!

DLG has been one of the best renting experiences in my life....and Ive rented a lot.The staff in the rental office is stellar. This company is by far the best in Chicago. The maintenance crew is amazing, you call with a problem and it is quickly, and I mean quickly resolved. Im so happy in my building that Ive stayed here almost 11 years. For what you get, the rent is more than fair. One person in particular has been exceptionally kind and understanding to me. DLG belongs at the very top of the rental company list. For me to take the time and review them is proof how much I truly appreciate them. In short, if youre looking for any apartment..look no further than coming over to any DLG building...Im sure youll be pleased.5 stars!

We live in Lakeview and the remodels are great. I work in construction and like living in a place thats remodeled nicely where I dont have to fix everything all the time. The management is very responsive and has helped us as soon as we asked for it. The best part is they are dog friendly!!I would recommend them to anyone.

Ive had a great experience with DLG! Ive rented from several leasing companies around Chicago and this is by far the best experience Ive had. The maintenance team is super responsive and very prompt. Ive had great correspondence with Marni, shes been so friendly and helpful every time Ive reached out. I had the opportunity to move from an older unit to a brand new updated one and couldnt be happier, its absolutely gorgeous! I have a pup as well and DLG is incredibly pet-friendly! Property Manager- rude and nasty. Some of their units are in horrible shape. Then you try to apply for a unit and they want you to sign a lease before you even get approved. The is a recipe for a lawsuit. Cant bind someone to contract without an agreement of terms. They need to read Real Estate Law 101. Just because you own and manage your buildings does not mean you are above the law.

Their business I like, I love. Their business I dont, they do well. Good neighbors.

Absolutely horrible!!!! I have called several times about faulty wiring and still no one has fixed it. Now the heat is out and a fuse blew again leaving me without heat of any kind! Called the leasing office after getting no response from Maintenance and the girl at the office HUNG UP ON ME!!!! Nothing but issues and have lived here for just over 3 months. Worst management company I have ever had to deal with!!!

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with this management!They do have a mouses in their building 6954 N Sheridan and the building is full of bed bugs.
