This is the last time I will go to this place they are no help! I came here on two different occasions. The first time I came here I told the representative what I was looking for and where I was looking for an apartment, how about I never heard from him as a matter of fact I had to end up calling him and then I had to end up calling his manager after talking to his manager, he act like he had an attitude and then I still didnt hear from him anymore after that. So I proceeded to look for apartments on my own. When I became unsuccessful with not finding an apartment, I went back to Chicago Apartment Finders and got someone new. They ask me what happened with the other representative? and I told them that he never called me back to let me know of any apartments that he may have found for me or anything. Then they look in the computer to see who was the representative that was helping me and they tell me, oh he left the company for another job. I feel like that was so unprofessional because if I was his client then I should have been handed off to another representative that could help me find a place and I should have been made aware of that rather than left being hanging and not get a phone call. Anyways the new representative wasnt in any better. His name was Chris and he was the assistant manager which makes it so bad.He showed me one apartment and he was supposed to be looking for other places for me and I never heard from him either. So if youre looking for an apartment DO NOT go to Chicago apartment finders because you will not find an apartment through these people they will leave you hanging youll be better off trying to look for an apartment on your own! Oh btw, this is the location in Hyde Park.

I came to Matt with the following request - Im moving to Chicago from Boston in June, Im available to look at places on this ONE day in April, and the apartment needs to fulfill these 32 criteria, 30 of which I cant quite explain.Matt was traveling later in the day on the one day I was available, so he obliged me the ridiculous favor of waking up early and picking me up at 7am to go look at apartments. Including a quick and delicious trip to Julius Meinl, we saw seven places in two hours, every single one of which was completely on point. If he had brought me back to the office after that and said, okay, now were going to spin this wheel to determine which one of the apartments we saw youre going to HAVE to live in, I would have been totally okay with it - thats how well he had chosen places to show me. By 10am I had an application in on the best of the bunch, and within a week wed locked it down.I had planned an additional trip out to take care of apartment stuff before moving, and ended up not having to do any of that. Matt is truly wonderful at his job - very smart and insightful throughout the process, and willing to extend himself to accommodate impossible scenarios. Five stars.

They are the worst apartment finders I have come across. Do not use this service unless you want your precious one and half hours wasted with no result at the end. I scheduled an appointment with them online and went to their office on time. They seemed to fumble around with appointment details. The staff had no clue of what was going on. They did not know which apartment I was talking about till I showed it to them online on their website. They said it is taken up by someone else. There have no connection with their own call centre so they will have no clue about you when you show up. Very unprofessional !

I had an appointment with Chris on Saturday after I completed a questionnaire with my apartment requirements earlier. He took 1 hour to work on the computer while I sat there. He made 1phone call but that didnt lead to anything. Even though I said I wanted 2br in hyde park, he took me to see a 1br loft in printers row! I think he needed to pick up the keys so I was a convenient errand. We went back to his office and he said no one is open on Saturday and he would make calls and hed call me back Sunday to see more. He never called back. I recommend not using this lame company and using either the property owner or do it yourself. Tis company stinks.

I am currently looking for an apartment and was referred to apartment finders because they supposed to do the hunting for you. The first time I went with the agent Raymond I had to meet him at the property, which is not too bad but once I gave him the critiria on exactly what I was looking for, the follow-up was just unacceptable. You have to continually call to see what new listings were available, I was shown numerious apartments that were out of my price range which was frustrating, I ve invested money for an application fee thats supposed to be valid for 45 days but havent seen anything that is worth applying for. I finally gave up because it seemed as if I was making more progress on my own. I would recommend that if the job is too much then maybe they should hire well qualified agents that can handle the demands of the public, but then again this is a free service. So you get what you pay for......

I walked through the door no one Greeted me. I asked about apartments, the gentlemen gave me a card and told me to look online.

Customer service is TERRIBLE, the young lady detoured me away from even viewing the unit, She was very rude, and this isnt the first encounter Ive had with them. This is the second time and BOTH times were HORRID. they have no care and concern for the actual customers. She told me before i waste my time and energy i want to know who you are THEY NEED TO BE REPORTED TO THE BBB.
