Something as simple as buying an additional suitcase became a nightmare. They have a website, a mobile app, and a phone number to call. But NONE of these WORK! The website glitches and throws errors. The mobile app gives an error. The guy on the phone is rude and doesn’t even understand the word “additional suitcase”, mumbles and keeps wanting to charge for extra kilograms. The agency at the airport itself opens at 14:00 (who does that?). What if I need to reach you in the morning like a normal person? How come you can’t get your things straight, Turkish Airlines? Horrible service…
Our luggage was severely damaged by Turkish Airlines when we arrived in Chicago. We filed a damage claim at the TK desk in ORD and we have been provided with a file reference number. We have been asked to finalize the claim process online, but unfortunately we are getting “wrong information “ error from the website. I tried to call the US number provided by Turkish Airlines representative, but nobody answers the phone!!!We would greatly appreciate it if you can kindly help us with finalizing the process or help us to understand the reason for the error. The whole experience of flying with TK is turning into a nightmare (broken luggage, way below average business class cabin/service, poor check in experience) I believe we would never fly with Turkish Airlines.
Four flights on this airline and not one was able to get out on time, especially since they seem more concerned with cargo than passengers or luggage. OHare was the worst location both ways.... over an hour at the gate after departure time due to loading cargo going out, making us late and almost everyone missing their connections in Istanbul. Coming into terminal 5, we had to wait for our luggage off the plane for 2.5 hours. Missed local transportation options twice in that time period (every 1.5 hours) and had to sit at ohare for an additional hour and a half. Only positive was that they didnt balk at giving us a hotel room in Istanbul to wait out the 12 hours, though I doubt I will see my visa fee back to wait at said hotel. Oh yeah, and the customer service line doesnt pick up.
The worse airlines people, the agent canceled my trip, and lost my bag and treat me very bad cause I dont have an American passport, I have another passport with green card, I hope I know her name she didnt wear a badge. I didnt get my refund money for my ticket yet, which is $2100, it was the worst experience with Turkish airlines.

I had a flight with turkish airline from Chicago to Istanbul and Istanbul to Erbil. Also, Erbil to Istanbul and Istanbul to Chicago. Once I flew from Chicago to Istanbul, my flight got canceled from Istanbul to erbil on October 13, 2020. They said we are going to provide hotel for two nights in Istanbul because of the cancellation but in Istanbul airport they didn’t provide anything the Turkish airline customer service in Chicago was nice but the customer service in Istanbul very poor not that helpful at all. They told me, I had to get a hotel room on my own for 2 nights until October 15 then we provide you a flight from Istanbul to Erbil. I came back on October 15. Again canceled for the whole month no hotel no flight and then I had to take a taxi and use bus to get into Erbil. The funny things after all this they said we don’t provide you refund for that part you didn’t use in your flight that was canceled on there side because I used other parts of the flight. Basically this is just stealing money from your customers.

Terrible hard to understand english from customer service also doesnt help that the lines sound terrible every other word breaks up as if they have bad cellphone service (best way to describe)... but honestly the reason Im writing this review is because we were jam packed on the flights 12 hours..there was no spacing between the seats for social distancing...just shows that the airline cares more about profit then keeping its passengers safe through this epidemic. Not sure how other airlines are proceeding with social distancing but I was disappointed.
Dear TA, you guys have to change your baggage policy, to make it more fair for the passengers, otherwise there is no difference and no sense with another airlines. This review is the scope of international flights, not domestic and others. Thank you

They have helpful personnel there. We had our flight cancelled and rebooked with a mistake. New tickets were issued with a ticket for our daughter missing. Her ticket was still for the cancelled flight. They corrected that very quickly, all of us boarded on time.

I prefer Turkish airlines over any airlines. When I was checking in the manager in duty was upset why I came late even though I technically came on time since they delayed the flight 3 hours. The staff on the plane are great and super polite and, the food on board tastes great and is plentiful. Overall the experience was great and I was pleased with how everything went.

I bought my ticket from their website almost 3 months prior to my flight date. After a couple of days, I saw that the ticket price decreased by 390 USD. I asked for a price match. But they refused. Customer Service quality is the worst. They send you prewritten emails. I should have paid the least price due to my early reservation. But, I paid the most expensive one. I will never use Turkish Airlines anymore. I am paying the most expensive price and getting the worst service. Go ahead and buy your ticket if you dont mind when your ticket price has a big drop after a couple of days...

I must say the staff was friendly and helpful. First time flying with Turkish Airlines and I was not disappointed. 10 hour flight to Istanbul, than another 2 hours to Cairo without issues. Will most definitely fly with them again.
We have lots of problems with customer service and we didnt fly yet customer service is horrible, I recommend to pay extra 50 bucks and fly with somebody else no more Turkish for us
They took the hand luggage at the gate from O Hare with saying their is no space in the cabin and not gave any receipt and finally luggage is not reached at the destination, bad service.
