This is my 3rd visit. My 1st visit was pleasant but I didnt like the nail tech. Then my second visit my nails were done by Evelin and I fell in love. So now, if she isnt available, I guess I will wait till she is. I also loved the tech Alady ( 7 colores) who did my pedi. She takes her time and does a great job. Prices were reasonable, very clean, wait time not long for how busy they are, whole environment is wonderful. I recommend anyone give them a try.

I’m really disappointed I wanted my nails to come out good and I ended up with these nails & I was charge 50 for these nails.

I like to go early during the week roughly before or right afternoon. You dont have to wait. I pretty much get Kim or Lona whom I love to do my pedicure. They can take their time on me instead of rushing trying to serve 20 ppl in 20 minutes 😆

Terrible customer service! I came here on a whim just to get my eyebrows waxed because of the previous positive reviews. Depending on the service, I’d consider coming back for a gel mani/pedi later this week. I waited almost 20 minutes with little regard, then when I asked if there was an issue/hold up, I was told it would be another 15 minutes without apology. With all of those employees present, it would have been nice to be told that when I first walked and you all asked what I was getting done. A little courtesy goes a long way. Respect potential customers’ time!!

Hope this review helps someone. Arrived to the salon at 2:30 and sat in water until 3:00pm I ended up leaving the salon at 6:23PM. This was probably worst nail experience I ever had. Called back into the salon to talk about my experience and how my toes were still messed up even though the man attempted to fix it a second time. I asked for my money back and they could just take the polish off I didnt care. The manager yelled at me over the phone. Very unprofessional when I was discussing an experience I had. If you want to experience a LONG wait time, RUDE customer service, and TERRIBLE quality? This is the place for you.

Went up there to get a pedicure and I’ll never go back . The lady was to rough even after me telling her multiple times she’s hurting me . They didn’t offer any of the complimentary items they offer I had to ask after 15 mins into the service. Manager did nothing to make anything right.

This place is very unprofessional even under new management. I do not recommend them andI definitely will not be returning. I went into V Nails today and I was told it would be ten minutes for eye brows, So I waited and after 15 minutes, I asked how much longer and I was told 5 more minutes and after 10 minutes still nothing, but other customers were coming in during that time and they were receiving services, but I had been waiting almost 30 minutes and it wasn’t even many people in there.

I was greeted when I arrived at 5:45 and asked what service I needed. I just needed a simple fill in on my nails. I sat down and patiently waited while service walkers walked around cleaning and talking. A lady next to me had been sitting since 5:30 waiting for an eyebrow service. At 6:38, the lady asked how much longer it would be and didn’t get a response. I walked out at 6:45 and heard an employee say sorry as I left. This isn’t a bash post, but just awareness that customers should be treated better. I wasted an hour waiting on nothing!

This was our first time. Had an amazing experience. Staff very friendly. Would recommend to any first timer in the area.

Husband and I are new customers. Friendly staff and clean environment. A gel manicure, pedi and eyebrows for me and husband received Mani and pedis. Both are pleased with service and will be returning.

I have been coming here for about 2 years getting my eyebrows done. I got a pedicure done a year ago and was not happy at all. Today I decided to try them since there is a new owner instead of driving 25 min to my normal spot and was very pleased with my service today. I will definitely come back again for a pedicure... The last owner, the male was very very rude, he made you not want to cone to the Salon. Tina was great and thats why I kept coming. Now that its a new manager, the salon seems more welcoming.... Tu is great and so is Lily!!

Great services, but if you are in a rush or expecting to be out of here in a timely fashion. You won’t! My third time coming to the same lady who is amazing and does amazing work. I’ve made appt twice and each time I’m waiting 30 minutes after my appt. at this point I’m upset. Kind of makes me not want to get them done after waiting so long. Oh yeah I’ve came back twice in one day and still running over my appt time.

Tu is the best nail technician i have ever had service with in over 30 years of getting pampered. She is extremely talented and I love her.....

Just got my nails done and they physically hurt, when I called about having them removed it would have been another $10 on top of the $60 I already spend and they dont offer refunds so Im stuck with hurting nails until I can get them off

I was impressed with their COVID preparations you can see that they take the safety of their customers seriously. I highly recommend this salon.

Came here during Covid 19 of course everyone is ready to get themselves pampered you would look the manager or owner who ever he was would have a pleasant attitude. He was rude and spoke to everyone rudely. The workers seemed relaxed but know very little English which is fine because there’s other ways to communicate but because the voice of the salon is the man who is rude it’s left a terrible impression. I was asked for my ID to verify my card they told me they had Apple Pay but didn’t which i was calm about because it easily could of been a miscommunication. I didn’t appreciate the hostility when i was Asking if he could manually put in my card number which all old card readers do. I get there are bad people in this world who do use fake credit cards and call in and etc and he was doing what he needed to protect his business but the way he expressed himself and etc was disgusting

Despite what some of these reviewers said, this is a really nice and friendly place. They are always to me, all of the techs. And she always, always does a great job with my eyebrows. I’ve been to places where I’ve paid $18 for my eyebrows and they didn’t even come close to how great of a job she does.

The whole entire staff, from new to old. Extremely humble and fun atmosphere. Great customer service. I moved to the other side of town and I still make that trip to come over here. Great customer service goes a long ways and its very hard to find! They take the time to give you that quality service and attention that you deserve. If anyone is not satisfied, they go above and beyond to fix things to assure their customers are satisfied. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I can respect that. I have been going to this nail salon for awhile . I used to enjoy going there but now I dislike going there . Theowner named Richard is rude and disrespectful. He talks to his customers very disrespectful especially women of color . Today he just was rude to my daughter and my daughter loves tutu and I love Evelyn . If you disagree with his prices he gets very upset . Be careful going there, he likes to refuse you service and be disrespectful.

I had my nails done Tuesday January 14th. By Saturday I already had 4 come off. I have never had this happen till I got them done here. Very disappointed because it was the first place I went to since I moved to the area. I will be going somewhere else to have all this fixed

The owners Richard and Tina are the best and so is the entire staff. We just had a baby and she has now acquired an Uncle Richard and many aunts! V Nail Spa is the best nail spa in North Charlotte. Richard and his team are always friendly and give great customer service on top of doing great work! The team knows most customers by name and welcomes new customers. My nails and toes always look amazing and they grow so fast and aren’t brittle! I have been going here for 4+ years for my nail overlay, pedicure, and eyebrows...they have great customer service and their work is quality. I absolutely LOVE Richard and his staff. I found this place last year due to positive reviews and even suggested it to family. About 2 mos ago I went on a Saturday and it didnt seem busy although many were in pedi chairs being serviced. I was asked what I needed and I said a gel polish as I wear my own nails and Richard stated okay 20min! After 45min I was asked again and I said if reg polish is quicker fine...he rudely and abruptly stated NO ONE CAN DO GEL NOW...UGH!! So I politely got my things and walked out...I wanted to share as each time TU and Evelyn have been PHENOMENAL but the off/on attitude of Richard is not worth the headache to wait and spend my hard earned money to be barked at!!

I dont usually do reviews but, I went to a new nail salon V-Nails and Spa. My whole experience from start to finish was AMAZING Richard took really good care of me, my nails look VERY GOOD hands down my new salon home will definitely be coming back. He is very detailed with his work, and wants to make sure you are very pleased with your nails. Richard also did my pedicure and was very detailed with that making my experience wonderful and relaxing he really wants to please each and all his customers. He is the man when it comes to shaping your nails.

I would not recommend this Nail salon to anyone because the owner Richard is very rude and has actually caused a lot of customers to stop coming because of his attitude and they have you waiting for hours to receive services. My sister and I were actually customers for 5 years but after dealing with his attitude everytime we go there or them allowing other customers to be serviced before us when we were there first or hearing him treat other customers very poorly I decided to find somewhere else which I’m glad I did because if I’m spending my money at a business I expect to be treated respectfully and fairly especially if I’ve been a faithful customer who has supported your business.

I will NEVER visit another nail salon! The service is always excellent and they take care of me and my young daughter. Their work is of awesome quality and they go out of their way to make sure I have a great experience. They also have Sunday hours, which is great when my Saturdays are booked.

Sonya did my nails. They looked pretty good when I left the salon but they werent what I expected... the nails are too thick, and have too much product around the cuticle.

Had an awesome nail tech, ask for Tammy! I decided to take a break from my trusty tech over at Bella and tried this spot for a simple fill-in because its minutes from my home. While I enjoyed my tech, I didnt enjoy the undisclosed fees that were on my bill when I was finishing up. There is a debit card usage fee that is passed on to the customer (undisclosed at time of service) and the prices differ from whats on the menu posted by the front door! Probably wont return because Im treated so well at my home salon but I do recommend Tammy if you are wanting to try this place out.

Staff was friendly, but whoever did my nails, she didnt introduce herself, did a terrible job. None of my nails ended up close to symmetrical, and several nails are visibly jagged and catching on everything I touch. I had to go home and file the nails myself afterward just so I didnt have to deal with the jagged edges. Maybe they take more care if you get all the bells and whistles, but I would absolutely not risk spending more money on the off chance that they suddenly figure out the basics.

One of the best nail shops I have been to in a long time. Staff is friendly and courteous I am able to get in and out in a timely manner even just being a walk in. I have not been disappointed and would highly recommend this nail salon.

At this point I should have a standing appointment being that I come regularly the same day every 2 weeks to get the same services. But when you have been a customer for 7 years recommended others to go there there should be no way that someone can come in after you to receive services before you after you have been waiting. I’m unsure of how this process works is it not first come first serve or you take customers just as you see fit? This is not the first time that this has happened but I can guarantee that it will the last. My money spends like anyone else’s and I can take my $80-90 every 2 weeks to a place that will appreciate my being a loyal customer. The response I received was that person had an appointment but every time I check you don’t take appointments so as you can see there is some contradiction here. But how did you have an appointment when it was asked of you who was coming with you? If that were the case and an appointment was made then you would know who was coming....then again another lie....but not to worry because I do not take kindly to lies or liars and the disrespect will be remedied. Today I was in the shop 1/26 and I witnessed a conversation that was beyond inappropriate Richard handle the situation very well she called him a racist which is not....Richard runs a very clean, nice, respectable shop and he does a wonderful job with the nails pedicure manicure. I’ve been in Charlotte for about four years and this is the only place I would ever go to get my nails done. There is no one good as Richard and the people that work at his shop. And when I come I always bring my mother with me because she refuse to go any place else! Tu did an awesome job on my nails today!! And Evelyn does excellent pedicures!!! I like to start off with a compliment. Tina is great with brows, Sona’s pedicures are awesome, and Tu’s manicures are superb. I give them all a star each. With that said, I had to take points off for Richard, the owner. I find him to be very rude and nasty. He seems to have a problem when you request a tech for service. So much so that he had the audacity to charge me more for my request and was surprised when I said ok because I guess this was his way of attempting to discourage me. What can I say? The ladies work is just that good. I will say that he only hurts their tips as I supplemented the cost toward my service. I am not sure if Richard is racist, per previous comments, but there is definitely a difference between how he treats the black customers vs Caucasian. He also treats women he finds attractive different than others. I’m sad to say that I am actively looking for a different salon because of this rude man. It’s too bad because, as I stated, the ladies I mentioned earlier are true assets to this business. But not enough for me to keep taking this man’s rude comments and inflated prices that seem to only affect me or those he has an obvious issue servicing.

I have been to other nail salons in the area and I feel like at the other places I was rushed out and sometimes got sloppy work. It was always inconsistent. They did a great job and really took the time to pay attention to detail and make sure I was happy.

Usually I am very pleased with my nails and the service but they hired a new girl and she has no clue what she is doing my nails look horrible even the manager said they looked horrible but the manager just simply told me if one falls off come back and she will fix it for $36 bucks I should not have to come back in hopes that you remember me and fix the mistake and if you plan on hiring a new person do not let them use your paying guest for practice I am so disappointed they know better.

Excellent service and great staff! My first time at this salon and I will definitely be returning. I came in after work so it was around 5:30pm for a pedicure and full set ombré. Even though they close at 7pm they were patient and made me feel comfortable. The nail tech I had took her time to make sure I was satisfy and was always tentative to make sure I was happy with the results and service. Usually other nail salons I’ve been to will rush through you and not take the time to shape and file your nails. I highly recommend them! Thank you guys for the service, I absolutely love my ombré set.
