I went to Retention Nails for the first time a few weeks ago for a gel manicure since my usual place was closed, and I have been so impressed with the quality. Maya was my tech and she did a great job. This will be my new go-to spot. They were friendly and got me taken care of right away even though I didn’t have an appointment. I like the ambiance as well- nice and clean. Definitely recommend!

I went last weekend as a walk-in and got their top pedi (Sue got my feet ALL the way together!) And they were able to squeeze in a mani. I originally wasnt going to get color gel, but I said, what the heck! Lets do it! Im so glad I did! Im definitely doing color gel on my toes because my clumsy self smudged my toes when getting in my car and they were kind enough to fix them for me. The place is sooooo clean, relaxing and an overall good energy. Im now a loyal customer!

Wanted to have my nails done for our honeymoon. I haven’t had many great experiences in the CLT area at other salons (always feel rushed/herded through even when I made an appointment) ...but not here! We did dip powder which I had never done before, but it was amazing! They were really good at explaining the difference and took the time to troubleshoot my needs and concerns. The customer service is above anything I’ve seen in a long time and the cleanliness takes the cake. Excited to find a place meeting my needs!

This salon/spa is the best around…hands down (no pun intended)! I’d heard great things and admired the Instagram posts for months and finally decided to get an appointment today. I was welcomed by the lady at the front desk, who promptly checked me in and guided me to the nail colors and beverage station. The spa like atmosphere was so relaxing. The music had me in a zen like state. The pedicure chairs were best I’ve experienced and Tuieng’s attention to detail with my mani/dip and pedi was amazing! Teresa and her team were incredible! I made an appointment for my mother and I to get pedicures. My mother was very nervous about the process since it was her first time getting a pedicure. Luckily, our nail tech, Kris, was so sweet, understanding, and communicative! My mom soon relaxed and enjoyed. Retention nails is just minutes from home for me but if it were a little farther, I would still visit! I went after school on a Tuesday to get a mani/pedi and I was so impressed by the service! They were responsive, kind, and thorough…. I really enjoyed my relaxing pedi and yet I was still in and out of there in less than an hour with two services. I’ll be back!

This was my first experience with retention nails and I really enjoyed it. My nails are absolutely gorgeous very pleased with the service and they provide the best black tea with cream and sugar that Ive ever tasted in my life. Chris did a great job on my eyebrows and Daniel didnt mazing job on my acrylic gel nails if youre looking for a place to go definitely come here.

Everyone was WONDERFUL! I’ve never been to a salon that was so thorough, professional, and efficient. I asked for a regular pedicure and gel manicure, it was the best I’ve ever had and I was out within an hour! I really appreciated that staff communicated if they had availability or not, rather than having people wait around for a long time and rushing current customers to fit people in.

This place is fabulous! The owner is so warm and welcoming and the staff is very professional and can do beautiful work on your nails. I highly recommend the VIP room with the full body massage chair it is spectacular. One of my favorite things to do after I get a mani/pedi here is to walk next-door and get a custom cupcake from Swirl. Highly recommend! Not only does retention nails and spa offer great service but the entire facility is extremely clean and well-maintained which I appreciate. Very stylish too!

This was my first visit to Retention Nails, and my only regret is not finding this salon, sooner. It is run so professionally- they refer to you by name, make sure you are comfortable, and satisfied, and handle appointments extremely efficiently. I have never been to a nail salon that had such attention and focus on cleanliness and hygiene, and I cannot praise this salon enough for this added detail. Let’s just start by I walk in and a lady was complaining about her nails and she just got them done. I was going to turn around and leave but I was going to give them a chance. She then states she doesn’t think I will be able to get my nails and toes done today that they are booked up. I never been to a nail salon where they turn people away. Let’s just say I will not return.

It’s so difficult to find a nail salon that does a stellar job with both SNS mani’s and pedi’s. Usually it’s just one or the other. I visited for the first this past weekend due to the stellar reviews, and I was not disappointed. Everyone was so helpful and kind and Maya did an amazing job on my ombre nails. And they actually give you a foot massage! That is not a given for most places. I am so happy to have finally found the perfect nail salon. Believe the hype!

My first impression was the cleanliness of the salon, & how nice it was inside. I got the deluxe pedicure & oh wow, was it amazing! Peter I believe his name was, gave the best leg/foot massage! I really enjoyed my pedicure! This evening I went back for an SNS full set. I was greeted by Teresa & she was very kind, & helpful. The selection for SNS colors is great! Maya was my technician, & she was awesome! I love when the nail technician has a desire to meet/exceed the customers expectations. She paid close attention to detail, took her time.. kept asking if I liked the shape, the color, she wanted me to be completely happy with my nails & I really appreciate that!Love my nails, I am very happy & I will be returning !

This is the place to be. They are pristine, hygienic, and the provide immaculate service. The owner checked on me and offered a variety of beverage selections . Even the background music put me at ease. Daniel did my pedicure, and he made my feet look perfect. He was so sweet. I confided to the owner that I have not been to a nail salon for any kind of service in two years due to my issues with anxiety. They put me at ease and made me feel absolutely comfortable. Have had my nails done at Retention three times now and have had a great experience each time. Very clean and very professional. I had come in yesterday and chose a gel color I wasn’t 100% happy with and they were more than accommodating to let me come in and have it changed!

ABSOLUTELY beautiful salon with courteous and professional staff. We had a fabulous time in the private room, which is a 2 person luxury experience. The chairs are elegant with an amazing massage setup.They even have beautiful window treatments that they can set to whatever open or closed setting that you choose! I had a gel dip manicure done on October 3rd by May and I am obsessed! It’s now nearly 3 weeks later and besides outgrowth my nails still look amazing!I scheduled mani/pedis for my fiancé and I before our engagement photos. Kris did a really good pedi/mani on my fiancé and May is my go to technician.Making appointments is easy via Instagram messenger or a phone call. I’ve never had to wait when making an appointment and I’ve always had excellent service. Their Covid protocols make me feel safe while still providing a luxury spa experience. I refuse to go anywhere else!

My nails and hands were in a terrible state of neglect after some excessive early spring cleaning. I live in the Cotswold/Oakhurst area and my neighbors had said good things about this new place so I gave it a try. Got a classic gel manicure and my nails look so good. I typically don’t let myself go as long as I had without a manicure and I have been a regular customer at another salon in the area but I’m making the switch to Retention! Everything is clean and beautiful. Service is top notch. She cleaned up my haggard cuticles in no time flat and my nails look perfect. Can’t wait to go back for a pedicure!
