I am new to the area and searching for a nail salon. I go up to the door and it is locked so I knock. The lady very rudely said we only do natural nails which is what I have. They simply didnt want to do nails. I wasnt even able to say what I wanted done to my nails and I dont use acrylic. It was like she assumed because I was African American I wanted false nails which I did not! I didnt even want a design! Extremely unprofessional!
Professional, friendly and excellent treatment! My nails have a luster that is second to NONE!!!
Run for your life!! Very very rude! They dont even greet their customers..they tell you when you come in wash your hands and pick a color..and then turn their back on you..after finding out you a your eyebrows waxed instead the younger one says something in Chinese to her mother and she finally gets out if her chair..After getting your eyebrows ripped off and waxed she insists on a tip by saying much more by saying how much more you want charged on your card!!? Wth!
I was going to rate them 4 stars because they did a good job with our nails, but the fact is, they didnt do what we wanted and the time was a waste for the price and quality. Their place was neat from a first look, but messy the more you looked behind the desk. They barely talked to us except to say hi, tell us what to do with our nails and when to do it, and to have a good day. Theres only 2 people there. I had a better in-home-kit manicure done by my friend for free than they did for$35/piece. I will not be going back.
Ive been visiting this salon for years for pedicures. They do a pretty decent job. There are only 2 people so the wait time can be significant. On my last visit I was asked to step outside the salon for my nails to be sprayed. It may have been a consideration for the other person in the salon but if there is a concern regarding fumes etc, perhaps a change in the product may be required.
Claudia is a rude disgraceful human who needs a new profession
The service is always great 👍
The price was cheap, and no wait. However, it was mid day during the week. After sitting there for 20 minutes, I realized the place was filthy. There was no hand massage with the mani. Just simply lotion applied to my arms. She set up a regular room fan to dry my nails expecting me to keep my hands suspended while they dried. The capper was my nails are chipping after 3 days. I got a straight mani, but that is what I always get everywhere else I’ve ever gone and this has never happened.
I have been going to this daughter and mother salon for approximately three years....I get excellent service and my pedicures last a good while! I have since moved to amount Pleasant and I still drive back to Charlotte because they do a great job for me. I would much rather have a sponge on my feet instead of the scrapper because that leaves you feeling like your heels are slivered up and besides somewhere along the line I believe I heard that the use of that device was illegal. I will keep going back to Queen Nails.
I stumbled upon this place when I went to the Nail Bar and they were extremely packed with a long wait. This place had no wait and they dont use acrylic so no overbearing smell. Its always in and out when I go and they do a great job. I havent gotten a mani from here yet, but Im sure those are good also. The younger woman does a really great job on the pedis.
Theyre always on time and does great work!!
Quality nails with attention to detail! Excellent prices. Thank you ladies for all that you do :)
Best banana pudding ever
Terrible.First, the salon was not clean and it was completely silent; no tv, no radio - Nothing relaxing or enjoyable about my experience.Second, the nail techs were rude and didnt even take the time to sit down while performing my manicure or the other two customers that were being serviced. They were sure to make us all feel like complete and total inconveniences.Third, my polish was bubbled and chipped on EACH nail within two days. Basically, $12 down the drain.Do not even waste your time at this place OR give them your money.
I did not like this place wasted money
Beware. Let me start from the beginning to paint a clear picture. I noticed the salon as I frequent The Fresh Market in the same complex that is conveniently located near my companies office building.I thought I would give it a go for a quick pedicure/ eyebrow wax during my lunch break.Upon arrival I was greeted by two ladies that asked what I would like to have done. I told them eyebrow wax and pedicure. They told me it would be ten minutes. Seemed reasonable enough so I waited.About ten minutes later one of the ladies brought me back into the eyebrow wax room. Everything was going along fine until she proceeded to aggressively scour my freshly waxed eyebrows with an alcohol swab...Ouch! I asked for cooling gel...she handed me another alcohol swab. No thank you, do you have lotion or gel...??? No answer.I was then told to sit in the open manicure chair as she started to set up. I explained I didnt need a manicure today, a pedicure would be great.By now my eyebrows are on fire. I asked the second lady who was setting up my pedicure station if she happened to have any lotion or cooling gel. Oh yea, be right back. She came back with the green cool gel on a cotton ball and handed it to me. Fair enough. It would have been nice to have it put on immediately after the eyebrow wax but at least I had it now.I asked her what types of pedicures they offered and if she could please concentrate on removing my callouses. She told me they didnt have anything like that...the cheese like grater that most all salons have. Alrighty then- enter some severe scrubbing with the small scrubbing sponge you can get at Wal-Mart as the chair is banging me into the wall with her necessary excessive force. (Sorry!)Mind you, there is no TV on or music while this is happening and neither of the technicians were very friendly.Towards the end of my pedicure experience I asked her if before putting my flip flops back on she could put some lotion on my feet. Pretty standard I thought. She told me no, and that the lotion was over there. I thought maybe she misunderstood so I explained I was looking for her to put it on my feet. She ignored me and put my flops on and proceeded to paint my toes.Once my feet were painted she then walks over to the dryer station with a bottle of pump lotion and asks if I still want some. Sure. So I run some on my less than de-callused feet.Luckily at this point the cooling gel had started to kick in. I was able to see my eyebrows in the mirror beyond the angry swollen red and noticed that the first lady did a nice job.Between the awkwardness and lack of service I would not recommend this Salon. It certainly wasnt worth the $43 I spent.
Safe and clean friendly atmosphere
Been going to for years for my eyebrows.
Only for brow waxing....
