So I was getting manicure and a pedicure with gel polish but the tech that was doing my pedicure failed to tell me that it was an additional $20 for gel polish, (but I could have asked) that was the first thing that I was upset about, the second thing is…. the tech that did my pedicure was not thorough at all, I tried to explain to her that she only exfoliate it 1 foot but she act like she did not understand, it was like she was a newbie or some thing, and the male owner of the salon did my manicure, and they put very thin coats of polish on my nails and a very thin coat of topcoat and my nails were peeling two days later….So be very careful when you go here they’re very expensive and the work is poor quality!!!

This place is very UNPROFESSIONAL !!! my sister went into the salon and asked them could they do a design and the old man said yes. He started to do the design and it looked horrible. She then sees a another woman getting 5 star service with drinks etc and she never received anything. My sister asked for them to just paint the nails a different color because the design looked horrible. It honestly looks like little niece did it !! 1/10 DO NOT GO HERE!!! Energy is horrible and definitely wasn’t Welcoming.

I got a wax,acrylic nails, and a pedicure. I think that my wax experience went well, however they definitely did not do the best job. My nails look good but will last two weeks at most, they did not put enough coats. The other reviews are pretty spot on and it is not the most professional place however I did enjoy the final product but I was totally overcharged.

Im so happy I got a gift certificate here. Today I was thinking gonna have a me day. Everyone is super friendly. I had Laura do my pedi and she did good. Kary finish me up on doing my ombre nails and my eye brow waxing. Such a good vibe here honestly. The inside of the place looks good. Im going to go back to here again and make this my main spot from now on. The drive is so worth it with people who have good attitudes and doing good job on their work.

This nail salon has been one of the worst experiences Ive ever had in my entire life. I have had acrylic nails since 1997 that has been 20 years and Ive never in my life had someone take my money and completely rip me off the way that the salon has. They are completely unsanitary and intentionally do not do their job correctly just so that you come back for repairs and spend more money and then will sit there and argue with the customer rudely and even when theyre in the wrong and know that theyre in the wrong they will still tell you dont come back here dont come back to my salon we have to charge you even knowing that the mistakes that were made were on their end and not the customers!!!! I highly recommend never setting foot in this salon, it is disgusting and the employees are extremely rude and the quality of their work is horrific!!!!

I didnt think the owner was rude at all, everyone was very very nice and it was great customer service. I DID get over charged, but that being said my nails looked fantastic. I got a gel French manicure on my hands and a regular pedicure for $55 before tip. The combo special was $35. I know gel is an upcharge and French is a $5 upcharge, but unless gel is always an additional $15 I was overcharged. It honestly seems expensive to me, but they did a fantastic job. The guy especially seemed to take extra time for my poor bad feet lol, he was gentle enough (I dont like when they are too rough) but he still managed to make them feel like brand new! 👍

I wouldn’t recommend supporting this business. I’ve had two experiences in total here that does not make me want to give them my money. The woman who I assume owns the business is very passive aggressive, and the staff in general doesn’t seem to genuinely care about their customer service. The main woman (owner) high balls you on prices if she feels she can (b/c you may be new etc), which means she doesn’t honor the prices listed on the website. Also the quality of pedicures especially, is poor. They tend to rush through their work in order to get you out. I just don’t find them friendly and find they look at their customers as people to get money of off. I just rather support other nail salons, with friendly skilled staff. And there is almost always a long wait.

Came to NC for a wedding was able to call the business before hand to see there availability. I was accommodated the moment I walked in. The business was clean and very diverse. They even had these oven sterilization units to clean the tools they used on customers. I thought that was very unique considering where I’m from they just have the glass jars for sterilization. Awesome service. I would recommend.

Visited here for a pedicure, early afternoon, deluxe $35. No wait time to get in a chair, but about 30 minutes to get someone to come over. No prob though enjoyed the soak time.. very nice, clean establishment. Staff was nice and friendly. Mixed staff, young lady; Bree black did a wonderful job with my pedicure. Because of her I will go back.

My experience was first class which started when I entered the Spa. The staff is diverse and professional. I was quickly approached after checking in to be seated for my pedicure. Yome took care of me and it was the best pedicure I have ever received. It was attentive and my feet and skin felt baby soft all over again. My fill in was professionally completed and my instructions were followed to the t.I am very very pleased and will return!

I’ve been going here for a few years and they’ve always been amazing. The staff is super friendly. I recently went in for a pedicure, messed up my toes on the way home and came back to have it fixed. Even though they were super busy, they squeezed me in right away. Also, they have the BEST massage chairs.

I have only been to this salon once and it will be my last. The employees were very friendly and I waited for less than 5 minutes. I came to get a gel full set. When I was all finished I was pleased with how my left hand looked. But my right hand had 2 crooked nails. After I paid and left the salon I noticed that my nails were not the same length or shape. I only paid $35 so I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to my friends.

Came here the day before my wedding to get my bridal nails done. She also helped me pick a color which she really did not have to do. The salon doesnt has a axiton odor. I believe they will do better & absolutely love here!

My Day Spa is a great place to get just about anything you want to pamper your self, somethings you an appointment for but to get your nails done or waxing and other things you can walk in. The wait is not long and everyone is nice and professional.

I walked in at 10 minutes to closing & asked if it was too late for a pedicure. I fully expected them to say yes but instead they told me to take 1st chair. I was even happier when I felt that they took the same care & time for me as if I were the 1st customer of the day. Fantastic!

Am really disappointed because this is my first timeComing here.the black girl with tattoos on her chest was so non-apologetic and she has non-chalant attitude.she wasted my time. She could have said she doesn’t know how to make ombré nail but instead she keep doing rubbish and when I told her, she turned deaf ears.

We recently moved to Highland Creek and was looking forward to having a nice salon so close....given the other reviews were good, I went in on a Sunday to enjoy a relaxing pedicure. What I got was by no means relaxing...the owner or managers 3-4 year old was running around the salon the entire time. Not only was this annoying but I was also made to wait...with luke warm water for far too long.... Then, when I was ready to pay, the mother said, oh sit over there to dry.....but by then, I was fed up and said, no thank you, I need to pay...Im late for another appointment. Will not be back....

A gift card my husband purchased there (almost $200) had to be used within a specified time. I was 20 or so days outside of the time frame and the owner wouldnt let me use the remaining balance ($67) to pay for a $15 fill in. Losing a customer over $15? Poor business judgment. And to think, I didnt complain the time one of her employees left a nasty cut on my toe during a pedi! (Nor did I receive a discount) Disappointing. I wont be back.

Worst experience with nails! I got a regular mani and the lady seems to be the owner not only cut me twice but did a horrible job painting. She kept trying to get me to get the gel nail color I told her I wanted to give my nails a break. My finger got infected because she made me bleed and blamed it on MY finger... I don’t think she meant harm but she can’t see, she was struggling to see with glasses. Recommendation is to use the guy or the younger woman she did a good job on my toes.

I was looking for a nail salon while I was in town and I found My Day Spa. When I walked in i felt the love. I came in for a pedicure and Becca took good care of me, she very sweet and she took her time. Thats something I like when getting a pedicure!! I stopped going a while back but figured Id give it a try again. Took me nearly 2 hrs to get a normal pedicure today and ended up leaving without getting the mani I wanted bc it was taking so long. They got me right in so I didnt think there was a wait, but I sat with my feet soaking (which turned to cold water eventually) for over 45 minutes. I would have rather known there was a wait because I wouldnt have wasted that much time.

This is the third time I have gone and each time has been a huge disappointment. They are not polite, it is not relaxing due to the owners child running around. The wait is ridiculous and their time management is terrible. Each time I have waited way over the estimated time. This last time I waited two and half hours after they told me I only had to wait 45 minutes. I will not go back for a 4th time.

I have been getting nails for 12+ years and My Day Spa is by far the worst salon I have ever been to. I was a regular for 5-6 months due to working close by, however my last visit I was cut not once but twice. She was shaving my nails done with the machine and it slipped (so she said) and cut the entire side of my finger wide open causing blood to go everywhere. I was offered peroxide and a bandaid, that did not even cover my cut. I was then handed off to another employee who did a good job, besides the fact he sliced under my nail with his nail file. When I went to pay, I was still bleeding in both places and I asked if there would be a charge, she said are you serious? I said, I am still bleeding and I was cut twice and only offered a band-aid that the blood had seeped through. I was told, that I would not be given any discount and to pay the full amount. There was a large crowd in and I did not want to cause I scene so I paid and left quietly. I have since called twice to speak with the manager and sent numerous messages on their FB page with no response. I plan on calling the Health Beuer as my finger is now pussing and inflamed.

Old pedicure chairs, they never offer you a drink or talk to you. The guy that did my nails never speaks & when I asked if he could take my nails down, he didnt even answer me, he seemed irritated. Theres always kids yelling in the back, not a relaxing environment. Ive been a few times for convenience sakes & will never be back.

The worst customer service. This is due to the fact that the woman that runs the shop is very rude and can be mean to customers . Please dont ask any questions. She will move you to the end of the line and make sure you get service last ... I will never go back unless there are new owners.

This was not a great experience. I went with a very good idea about what I wanted my nails to look like, which were the stiletto nails, but left with something like uneven claws. The technician smelled of smoke and after sitting and observing, the place did not seem too clean. What made this such a bad experience was mainly when drilling started. He drilled very deep into my nail, to the point where I thought it would penetrate to my skin, Im very nervous about taking off these acrylics too rough or accidentally breaking it because the nail WILL come off. To end the experience, I paid too much for a fill.. all in all, please dont go here

New to the area tried this place once and I wont come back. Dirty counter, chairs, not hospitable. They charged me to soak off SNS when I planned to spend over $60..took 2 hours to even get me started. And I agree with the other reviewer-had their kid running around yelling. I will not come back.

They now charge an extra $5 to take calluses off and also charge extra if you use a debit card. I’ll be going to Relax from now on...
