The nail tech who did my pedi today dug a whole out of the bottom of my toe with the cheese grater. I can’t even walk. 😞 I am on so much pain. So much for pampering myself after a long week.

I have come here for eyebrow waxes and had 2 or 3 manicures over the years, simply because it is convenient to work. However, I wont come back here based on my last two visits: my last manicure here was underwhelming, and the eyebrow wax I had was just awful.The manicure I received did not cover the whole nail... it looked like it was 2-3 weeks grown out. Sure, you dont want polish on the skin... but you want the actual nail fully covered.My brow wax was very disappointing. I specifically said upfront that I just wanted a slight cleanup underneath, and did NOT want them too thin. Regardless, entirely way too much was waxed off, including the arch on the top so the brows basically just go straight across. Considering my wedding is next week, Im very upset about it. And to make it worse, she was not apologetic, and instead tried to say she didnt take much off and did just what I asked. Im looking at it; theres A LOT off and no one would EVER request this.Maybe others are fine with the level of service here, but due to these recent poor experiences, coupled with the overall lack of friendliness or professional responsibility of the staff, I wont be going back.

I stopped in for the first time for a pedicure. Larry did a great job and his personality fit mine. I enjoyed the experience. Thank you Larry.

I came here to get a short french manicure with green tips instead of white the lady couldn’t even do that correctly, it was really messy. so i told her to just paint the whole nail green, the shape looked so terrible, i told her that one of my fingers need to be reshaped because it looks fatter than the rest of my fingers and she didn’t even fix it and then there is green paint all over my fingers the paint job looks like a beginner painted my nails. i felt like i shouldn’t have paid for my nails. i wish i could insert pictures cause this was a terrible experience i’ve ever had.

This is my go to nail salon & I have tried all of the ones in this area. Everyone is professional & during covid they are as safe as possible. My nails are always done to my liking. I pray this business much success in the years to come!

Every time I visit the place is nice and clean and very welcoming and inviting the quality is great they do very well with pedicures and eyebrows!

I went in to get a pedicure and the environment was lovely. I got the deluxe with warm towels and massage oil. The lady who did my feet put soooo much scrub and oil on my feet. I thought she would wash it off but she decided to wipe it off instead. I asked her if she could wipe more of the oil off. She didnt and put my flip flops back on. She began painting my toes and she had lines, lumps of polish in certain parts of my toes. I asked her to go over them and she said they were fine and didnt go back over them. As I walked out the oil and scrub she didnt get off my feet had me sliding all the way to the car..

The young lady that attempted to give me a pedicure today was sweet. I have been here before, maybe 7 months ago. I was having a lovely day until she cut off too nail off my left great toe nail. I’m going to post a picture so that you can see it. Indeed this shall pass but I will not be coming back to this place of business. By the way Management said nothing to me after looking at my toe.1/4/2021 My toenail has not grown back fully.

Bad experience. Nail tech had a terrible attitude. Nails were crooked despite bringing it to her attention. Also they were understaffed and folks even had to leave because they didn’t have enough nail techs on a Monday morning. Not coming back and don’t recommend.

I think the people there are wonderful. Very sweet attitudes, great service, always willing to go the extra mile in making you comfortable. Trust me you will go to sleep once they start on your feet!!

Very rude man works here with no respect for clients. They will sit you in the pedicure chair for an hour before getting to you and not inform you of the wait time before submerging your feet in the water. Consistently over occupancy during COVID as well which does not feel safe.

I was warmly greeted with a Happy New Year! Even though the location was only open for a few hours, I was well pampered during my pedicure. The lady was lovely and patient (she helped me fell well relaxed and was very attentive). This is one of the best pedi days I’ve had and it started my 2020 off even better. Dont waste your time. Seriously. I got my nails done here once and witnessed the manager in a screaming match with another client in the salon.Never went back. Decided to try them again recently and the next day two of my nails popped off clean. I went back twice to get a repair and after sitting for 15 minutes each time and being ignored the second time the manager got into ANOTHER screaming match with a different client in the salon.Just decided to walk out. Not worth it, the facility is disgusting and far from relaxing. Services are below average - average and pricing is on par with much better salons in the area.So when I say do not waste your time, like seriously - dont.

Very rude and unprofessional the guy got upset with me because I didn’t want an acrylic instead I wanted gel on my real nails and then he tried to make a scene about it definitely will not be coming back to this business again!

So great!Peaceful, quiet,detailed and they had the color I had been looking for at other places for 2 months! I did the upgraded pedicure with mask,stones and massagingvpils and I will for sure do it again, it was worth the price. Decided to try this place since its near my job. Very friendly upon walking in. Little wait time. Tech I had was awesome. He explained the services they offered and made recommendations not to just get my money. Ill definitely return.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is reasonable. Heres why: I received the worst manicure here. I could have done a better job at painting my own nails. They turned out uneven and bumpy. You could literally tell there were multiple layers of polish on there and it was uneven. I have gotten my nails done so many times that I know how to recognize if someone knows what theyre doing or not. However, I didnt ask for the nail tech to redo them because it was a really nice old Grandpa and he didnt speak English so I felt bad.The nails chipped easily, the top coat had fuzz or tiny hair in it, there were tiny air bubbles.. The whole thing was just unprofessional. Will not be coming here again even though the Grandpa was very nice.Also one lady told me the manicure would be $15 while the Grandpa said $14. The price is not worth it.

Only reason for 2 stars is because they were nice. Went here for the first time and treated myself to a $50 pedicure.Tried to grab my nail techs name but she couldnt answer me :(She trashed my pedicure and left me with chunky nail polish for drying. By the time my appointment was over I was just ready to go instead of wanting to get the problem fixed. I really hope owners and management do something about their customers concerns. Would be nice to be able to go here more often since my house is down the street.

Worst experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.. after my wife told the management about the patch on hand after arm waxing, they said to give good discount next time.. and no one cared about it.. regrettable decision to choose this place for waxing. Horrible place and try to avoid if you can.. if LH nails ever reads this, its not about discount its about good service..

I generally like this place, but one of the technicians, the day before my wedding, waxed my skin so hard that my skin was highly inflamed. Not even make-up was covering the red marks on my skin; my skin was still sore. They didn’t charge me because of how upset I was. I would never recommend getting waxed here. My skin was so red and the tech was extremely rough.

The nail salon was so clean.Tony did my nails they came out beautifully.He was very quite which enjoyed.I didnt have people talking a different language while working on me. The only down side was I didnt get my 2 min message in my hands and for working moms and house wives we know how important this is.Overall exeperience was great.The amount charged was what was expected. Ill be back!

I had went in on Monday 12/10/18 for a mani/pedi. I always get a basic pedicure and usually just clear on my nails and always leave a cash tip. I looked at my bank statement the next day and had been charged $50.00. I stopped in and spoke with the owner/manager and expressed my concern. He asked who did my nails and I pointed to the tech. She stated I had a Lavender Spa Pedicure as he pointed to the poster on the wall. I said I most certainly did not, I always get the basic. I also let him know she never asked me which type I wanted. He argued with me and I again stated that I never got the Lavender Spa Pedicure (Ive seen them do the spa pedicures before and they have a special packet they put in the water). Please look at your receipt before you sign it. I wasnt wearing my glasses and have never had trouble there before, but needless to say, I will never go back.

I went in yesterday for gel mani/pedi and Jennifer was amazing. She took her time and did an awesome job on my hands and feet! Ask for her upon your arrival!

They say pick any color from the basket. Gels arent separated from the regular polish apparently.Classic pedi: $25Classic mani: $14Eyebrows: $8=$47I give $5 tip.He conveniently told cashier something in Vietnamese.I prepare to leave.Cashier says he said you chose gel polish .. I said how am i suppose to know that if its in the basket with everything else = $15And he snipped me.Wont happen again.

Well, that’s not the experience that I had (referring to the previous review down below).I went there today, for the first time, and everything was great, at first. When I went in, I told them I want a soak off (of acrylic), a polish change (nails and toes) and eyebrow (wax). Instead of giving me the price for my services, my tech started try to upsell me. She tried to sell me a manicure to go with my soak-off, when I didn’t want that, she told me I should get a fill-in. Just for the sake of options, I asked how much it would be for everything if I got the manicure she suggested. She asked the manager, who wasn’t sitting far from us, who said it would be $45 with everything. I said, eh, I’ll just stick to what I asked for. When I said that, my tech said, ok, it’ll be $23. I said okay. It sounded about right. As she is starting my services (my tech), she tries to upsell me again, bc the girl next to me was getting SNS. I told her no. The girl and I even laughed about it bc we both knew what was going on. Now, the whole time she’s doing my nails, she does not tell me there’s an extra charge for the cut-down (yes, for your real nails and toes). She told me this once she was polishing my toes. I said okay to that, but asked why would I be charged for a cut-down of my REAL nails, esp. if I’m getting a soak-off. Again, she asked the manager. My tech ended up taking the $2 charge off for cutting down my fingernails, but kept the $3 charge for cutting down my toenails. Long story short, my bill went from being $23 to $41, by the time I got back to my seat. I asked why and she said those are the prices. I asked why I wasn’t told all of that when I asked, and they said they don’t like to tell the customer all that information bc they don’t want to “bother them”. I told them, you can bother me bc I like to know what I’m paying for. I also noticed they don’t have pricing labeled anywhere in the salon. They only have pamphlets with the prices that sit on a desk that they show you after the fact (only if you bring pricing up). Also, at the beginning of the service, I said I wanted a soak-off. My tech immediately started to pry off my nails with a fake nail. It took the tech next to her to tell her I wanted a soak off. It took the same tech to tell her that I might be trying to save money today (again, my tech was trying to upsell me). Either way I paid for my services and left the shop never to return. I recommend you don’t either. And if you do go, go to Jay (the brown girl). She’s the tech that helped me and reminded her (my tech) of what I wanted. Jay is legit, she’s straightforward and keeps it real. And she can do nails. ****Retracting Statement: Don’t go to Jay either. She is just as tacky and unprofessional as the rest of them. I went there today (had to, bc I stubbed my toe at work and that’s where I got my nails/toes done, so naturally, I would have to go back), and while I was there, Jay decided to talk about me, IN FRONT OF ME, with one of her clients. The client didn’t say anything, bc she’s a very nice woman. Even helped me by looking for the nail polish I had and offering me her own top coat bc it dries faster (I fixed my own toe). Moral of the story is, don’t go here. There are 3-4 other nail salons on the same road you can go to if you want to be treated more professionally (hopefully).****

Usually, I do not write reviews. This is my first; considering my experience at LH Nails. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! The staff are rude, unprofessional and not properly trained. All of their nail technicians, needs to go back to cosmetology school. My nails were uneven and different lengths.I will not come back! I should’ve took the hint when other ladies were leaving in dissatisfaction and leaving the nail salon because of the unprofessionalism of the techs there! This is the worse! No stars!

Horrible experience!!!!!! I received a pedicure and it literally was the worst pedicure, I didn’t even get polished so I it’s was not a difficult service, barely cleaned my free edge, didn’t buff the bottom of my feet.. the guy did my pedi I think his name is Tony waste of time and money !!!!! I own a Salon myself so I typically would never leave a bad review but this is just straight up robbery..

Recently I went into LH Nails to get my nails done. The manager actually provided the gel nail service as well as a pedicure. The next evening which was a Sunday I realized I had left my cell phone at the nail salon but it was after hours so I would have to wait until Monday to go by and pick up the phone. Not only that I noticed one of my nails had chipped and the polish was starting to pull apart from the sides of my nails. The overall quality was really poor and having gotten my nails done there on a regular basis I was surprised because this service normally last for 2 weeks. The polish appears to be old. I stopped by on Monday during my lunch break to pick up my phone and share with the manager the issue with my nails. He wanted to repair the one nail but I told him I would be back as I wanted him to look at the entire job. When I went back a few days later he only wanted to do one nail and acted as if something was wrong with my cuticles. He was very loud and rude and refused to work with me. Now mind you I am a frequent customer and I have no problem paying for any service I receive. I say all this to say I will never patronize this shop again. Not to be bias but Asians only care about quantity and not quality. They have no customer service etiquette they dont listen and they only try and sell additional services. When have you seen an Asian person patronize any entrepreneur besides someone who looks like them. #shortrudeunprofessionaljerk

BEWARE: If you are going to this nail salon to get your acrylic nails taken off, they do not file them down, they do not soak them. They pry off each nail. After the first nail I was clearly in pain and asked the technician if there was another way he could take them off. He then continued to pry another nail and said this was the “easiest way”. I was almost in tears from the pain, meanwhile the manager oversees me and laughs and asks how long I had my acrylics on and that it was my fault that it’s hurting. Finally the technician filed down my acrylics. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because they do a good job with eyebrow waxing.

This place was fast and efficient, however too efficient. The nail tech left my pedicure to do anothers manicure while I was under a hot towel wrap on my legs. Aside from the towel growing cold BC I waited while she did someone elses nails, she never changed her gloves when she came back to me. Guess the latex gloves are there to protect the nail techs only and not the customers. Sorta like reusing a hairbrush on multiple people.

Worst experience. I asked for a regular full set and was charged $5 extra for oval shaped nails. My nails were also EXTREMELY crooked. I asked the guy to fix them and he shouted at me as if I was wrong for asking him to correct the mistakes. Then told me I needed to tip him. I normally would if I got what I asked for. There was also hair stuck in my acrylic and he said he didnt care. Save your time and go to a different place. Never going back.

This place is very unprofessional my first time experience. The girl by the name of Jennifer messed my eyebrows up! She took off so much hair it showed where had a gash. I went back to this place after speaking with Jenifer over the phone saying shell fix it. The shorter older lady with a bob decided to fix the mistake. She laughed at me in the back in my face for 20 mins. I was mad I asked her for a refund especially after she told me I need my lips wax! She spoke to the manager about my refund and she told me this is not Walmart! She made a public display yelled and talked trash and pointed her finger in my face. She told me not to come back because they screwed of my brows and being disrespectful!! My sister had to ask her what was going on. The manager didnt apologize low life and unprofessional as hell!!!!!

I ususally dont do reviews but after the terrible experience I had at L & H nails I had to write this review in an attempt to spare others.Disclaimer: If youre looking for an upscale salon in the University area, THIS IS NOT IT.First impression: Rude, unfriendly workers. I came in for a cutdown, fill in and gel polish and happened to share this was my first time there.That made no difference as the nail tech seemed irritable and would barely crack a smile. After sitting in the chair, I asked if I could see the nail swatches to select a polish color and the nail tech brusquely motioned towards the nail polish wall and said, Same thing on wall Since I was already sitting, I repeated, May I see the swatches? I havent had time to choose a color from the wall She got up from her chair, visibly irritated, returned with the basket of nail swatches and resentfully handed them to me. Halfway into the service, I realized she had filed most of my nails shorter than the length I told her I wanted. No biggie, I thought...theyll grow back. As she continued, she applied the acrylic so thin and flimsy that my nails not even slightly resembled the form and shape they were before. So I asked, They are a little thin can you build them back up like they were? She pretended not to understand and told me, she couldnt do anything about it, because I had asked for a fill in they cant apply acrylic on any part of the nail other than the fill-in area. So I offered to pay the extra amount to get my nails done properly but before I knew it she stood up, grabbed my nail polish and keys and motioned at me, you go over there, he do for you. he do for you now!Enter the man other reviewers are saying is the manager.I walked over to his chair and greeted him with a smile. I was asked to re-explain the problem. So I did. I told him my nails had been filed too short (nothing could be done now) and too thin and didnt look the way they had before. I said my nails had a natural curve and I liked to keep that shape. He acted like he didnt believe me and said sarcasticly, Your nails look like that before? While I answered discreetly, I sensed he wanted to argue as he continued to raise his voice for all to hear. I said, Yes. I dont have an actual picture of my nails before but this is not how they looked or how I wanted them. I repeated the nails were a bit thin and flat. Id like a natural curve and showed him where. He insisted that since I didnt ask for overlay this is all you get with a fill in. I stated I wasnt there to argue. Even though everywhere else its considered a fill in, I repeated Id pay whatever service was needed to fix my nails correctly. That wasnt good enough. I was more humiliated by the minute as he continued to patronize, play games and sarcastically question me. I finally said, Ive never experienced this before. Im not sure why youre not getting it. I want a natural curve, and this isnt it After arguing and never attempting to finish my nails, he abruptly dismisses me saying: You right! I dont understand, you go somewhere else. They do for you!Based on my experience and the reviews here, Im really not sure why these folks are so rude, unhappy, and bitter. Or why they choose to create a scene in their own place of business. However I can say, L & H is the farthest from a professional, customer service friendly place of business. I will HAPPILY go to other nail salons in the area charging $25 and up for a fill in (L & H charges less...it shows). I HIGHLY recommend anyone who doesnt want a horrible experience to do the same.

Pedicure was okay. Hot paraffin wax is included with basic pedicure, they give wine, but for the nails .....I got a full set, coffin shaped. Within a week 2 nails broke, pretty much fell off! My real nail wasnt broken meaning the fake nail was not properly attached to my real nails. Within 2 wks 6 out of 10 nails had fallen off. Wont ever go back for anything besides pedicure!

First time here, this was a sunday sorta packed and the owner was nice and greeted me i had waited maybe 20-30 mins before a random guy who was a friend of the owners did my nails. He one did not wash his hands, didnt have all the tools in place, rushed a little did not care for my nails before my full set. i was so upset i spent more then usual. WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE

This place gives different prices once you are there. Very unprofessional. The nail tech yelled at my daughter because she moved.

If you come in here stay away from the older man. He is super aggressive and cut me multiple times. He also doesnt speak English so i couldn’t really communicate my concerns. I def won’t be back.
