I have visited this salon multiple times over the past year and have never left feeling amazing about my service. I tend to go these for emergency last minute services. In this instance I needed a repair on my big toe right before wedding. I went and told the owner what I needed then he gave the service to another tech to take over. I assumed she was new because I had never seen her before but I would’ve never guessed she was completely unaware of how to do it. The owner instructed her to just cut down my big toe nail and replace the gel French design on there. I don’t know if she didn’t understand but she proceeds fo cut down all of mt toe nails, where another techs informs her that’s not what I wanted. She cut my nails so low that I ever screamed because she was cutting some of my skin. The owner comes back and she lies to him saying I told her to do it. He instructs her to rectify the situation by filing the toes on my other foot down to match the other. I told him I am not comfortable with her doing it and I would like someone else. He ignores my frustration and says she has to fix it because they work on commission. She then fails to follow instruction again and cuts the nails on my other foot and paints the worst French pedicure on my toes. At this point I am furious. He then tells me they can’t do French because mt bails are too short as if that was my fault to begin with. I tell him I just want white polish. He finishes, I don’t even look because I was in an angry rush to leave. The next day I see a bubble on my toenail. And later that night I look down to find my toe like the attached picture. I do not know what hard substance they painted my nail with. I am a very understanding customer but if your techs aren’t trained do not entrust them with customers or at least help them through the service. If you’re thinking about going here Save yourself the time.

The owner is a very good soul!! He went above and beyond to make my experience golden. He made sure my nails were perfect and he even took the extra time to stay after hours to complete my services. Generally love coming here. Will keep coming back. I recommend greatly!!!

It was big humps in the acrylic, was not spreader even. One nail was shorter than other. Yoy can see have thick n uneven the nails are. I never been so embarrassed when other people saw my nails. Their response was whoever did your nails did an awful job.

Wonderful staff, very friendly. However, my tech didn’t fully paint my toes? Certain spots weren’t covered and when I was sitting at the drying station she said my nails were done but I got home and they were smudged from putting my shoes/socks back on. Disappointed since it’s my first pedi but truly enjoyed the foot/calf massage portion of the service.

My experience here was excellent! Peter took his time and shared his knowledge/experience of nails and product. He made sure to do what was right to keep my nails healthy. My dip powder manicure looks great. It was obvious the employees cared that each customer received the best and left happy. I just moved to the area and would definitely go back!

They do good pedicures here no so good manicures. Nails did not look good, he knew it, and still charged 65. Poor quality.

The service I received today was exceptional. Linda did my pedicure and was very understanding to my small nails and Kim did my eyebrows perfectly and my full gel set which I love she made many recommendations on designs and helped me get long lasting beautiful nails 😍 The service is always awesome and I love all the updates the salon has done. I love to see the same management for the last six years. I will be coming back again and spreading the word!

Peter is an amazing artist !! He’s truly committed to providing excellent customer service. Lynn did my pedicure . She gave an awesome foot and leg massage . The paraffin really made my feet nice and smooth . And the massage chairs give that extra body massage that put the experience over the top . The staff created a very relaxing peaceful atmosphere . Really great experience!

I went to this Nail Salon about a year ago for 1st time and when I went there they were about to close the salon as it was 7:25. But the Owner(dont know his Name) was so nice, after knowing I had function next day morning he kept did my nails and stayed back 1 and half hour extra.Same thing happened 4 months later I didnt have time to get nails done earlier before my vacation starts and I went day before leaving for my holiday. That too around 7:45 ish I reached in parking lot and saw Owner locking Salon and walking towards car. I asked him I was just checking if he was still open. Upon knowing i coudnt come next day as we were going on vacations. He literally opened his Salon for me and did my nails.I dont think this can beat any customer service. And just because of this treatment I will keep going to this place. Amazing service and always happy with my nails👌👌❤❤

Everything was good overall. I called at 5pm on a Sunday, to get a 5:30pm appointment, which was great. The only thing that could have been better was the quality of the polish job. It was a 7 out of 10.But, I would use the same person, and just ask them to do a neater job when polishing my toes!

I am so pleasantly pleased with the service I received and the way my nails came out. (Exactly what I wanted.) everything was cleaned and sterilized for me. They use plastic coverings for the pedicure tubs And when I was done…I even saw the OWNER scrub the pedicure tub clean HIMSELF!Very impressed can’t wait to come back!

Ive been going to My Nails & Tan for years. I love the service and warmth of the company. Peter is so AMAZING and no matter how busy he is he still treats you like his first customer. Peter and his team always welcomes me with a beautiful smile and greeting at the door. I wont go anywhere else because Ive always had bad experiences at other nail salons.

Peter did a great job on my gel manicure. This was my first time at this location as I received a Groupon for Christmas. I don’t get my nails done very often due to working out and just using my hands a lot. Upon arrival I was greeted fairly quickly by one of the other salon technicians. She directed me to sign in and choose my color. Although both technicians were busy with other customers, Peter came just in time to start my appointment. He is very quick working but makes sure to clean everything up nice. We actually talked about the different nail products that his salon uses and which ones would best suit my nail type. I was very satisfied with the overall look being as how my nails are very short and difficult to work with. They had great color choices and I was in and out quickly but it still felt very relaxing to be pampered for just a bit. I will definitely be back to use some of peters suggestions!

The nail technician was very thorough. She took her time to make sure every step was done properly. My feet feel and look good.

My friend had a bad experience buying this service & I kept telling her to give them another chance & the same exact thing happened to me. I bought the Groupon, booked online as they requested. I called the salon before I booked to clarify the process. Two days later I received an email that my appointment got canceled, no reason given, I called the salon back & the lady was rude, didn’t know anything, insisted I call her boss (but didn’t tell me a time the boss was coming in)..I tried getting a refund, it wouldn’t work go back on my credit card, so now I have Groupon bucks…and had to spend MORE money to buy the service elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT BUY THIS!! SERVICE SUCKS!!

Today was my first time here and I just loved my nail tech Julie. She took her time. She held a very good conversation and the whole time. She was gentle and so sweet to me. I plan on coming back. Also the establishment had a peaceful vibe!!!

This has become my new dedicated nail salon for my 11 year old daughter and myself. Not sure of my nail techs name (older lady) but she has some my acrylics twice now and always done a good job. My daughter has been seen by two different nail techs for her gel polish change - one of which I believe is the owner (a gentleman ) they are always so sweet to her. I love their customer service and my favorite thing about this salon is that they make appointments so we are not waiting around to be seen. Last visit I also got my eyebrows waxed and she did a good job. We are permanent customers.

DO NOT use this establishment if you are planning on using a voucher or Class Pass. They will purposely claim that they never received your reservation for a selected service even though you have a email with proof of your reservation. Drove 45 minutes away to enjoy my RESERVED service and was turned away. Never again!

Ive been going here for 3 years and the service has been nothing but amazing. I went here to get my nails done for prom and they were beautiful then as well. Today I went today and Ms. Annie was so amazing I will be going to her every time.

All good except I had to wait 45 minutes beyond my appointment time.Also wouldn’t take my Groupon due to all kinds of gymnastics I’m supposed to go through to redeem it including booking through Groupon’s sight (not available). Overall quite frustrating.

I was in town and needed a pedicure. After looking at the reviews for this nail salon I decided to go. Im glad I chose My Nails and Tan. They were very professional. The man at the first booth took my temperature and provided hand sanitizer. I felt very comfortable. Kim was very friendly and provided great service. When I return back to Charlotte, I will definitely return to this salon and look for Kim, she was great!

Service here was A+. I do not like the turn and burn feeling at other places. My Nails & Tan is the perfect balance. Staff is super sweet and do a fantastic job. This is my new “go to”.

These ladies are very fast and very good. I purchased a Groupon for a deluxe gel manicure and deluxe pedicure, and I was in and out in an hour! Appointments are recommended, but not required. This is my second visit to them. I came in during my lunch hour; no one was here so I got served promptly. Everyone else that came in behind me was then met with a kind hello and service, too.

I can pop in anytime and they’ll get me in with minimal wait. It’s quiet and relaxing and my manicure will stay for a long time without chipping. It’s my favorite nail place in Charlotte

Terrible experience. Peter said he would seat me in 30 minutes of my arrival, then proceeded soak my nails off to make me wait 2 hours before telling me “he didn’t feel like doing my nails because they were going to close.” Then proceeded to say “You people always cause problems and always want free service”... very derogatory and unprofessional. Clearly people of color are not welcome. Thankfully I caught Peter on camera saying this, will be posted as well.

I love this salon! They really take care of your nails unlike some places I’ve been to where they just rush to get the job done and damage your nails in the process. I never have a problem making an appointment and they don’t make you wait long when you get there. Everyone is so friendly and good at what they do, my nails look beautiful every time. I would recommend this salon to anyone!! Great services for a great price!!

I came with my friend to get pedicures and we were a couple minutes late for our appt but everyone was super nice and helped us get settled. Anna gave me top-notch customer service and made us feel at home. She even gave me really good advice with one of the polishes on my toes and it came out looking perfect. I would highly recommend!! The horrific way I was treated in this establishment today was atrocious. As you can see from the picture, I did NOT get what I paid for, and even though the owner of the salon was wrong, he called the cops on me and wouldnt do his job.I had green on my nails before I entered this so-called nail salon and as you can see from the picture, they did NOT get all of the green off of my nails. These pics were taken are AFTER my fill.I didnt realize any of this was going on because I was very comfortable in my pedicure chair, my eyes were closed most of the time. I didnt realize I had to watch the owner do my nails and make sure he didnt leave any traces of green, I assumed since I was in a salon and not a beauty school, I could have the luxury of closing my eyes and enjoying my pedicure.I asked why the green wasnt completely taken off of my nails to begin with and he said that he went over my nails twice but couldnt get the green off. Instead of telling me this at the beginning, he started doing my nails and ignored the fact that the green polish was still on.Instead of doing what he was supposed to do and give me excellent customer service, he told me I used cheap polish, that my nails were the problem, and that he could get it all off with a manicure - that he refused to do for free.I then asked him to refund part of my fill because I didnt get what I paid for and he refused. He said I was being loud, disruptive and belligerent. However, I never raised my voice at him, I was questioning his integrity because I couldnt understand how an owner would be ok with such horrid results.He called the cops and I sat there for a while waiting for them to show up, but I had things to do and couldnt wait around all day.This salon is an abomination and the owner is a cowardly simpleton who had the unmitigated gaul to resort to name calling when one of his customers dared to question his shoddy work.Please do not give this business any of your money.

I really like going to “My Nails & Tan” I normally see “Linda” but I have gone to other workers when she isn’t there; I was satisfied all the times. Clean nice atmosphere welcoming attitudes, the owner, he is the kindest person. I recommend this establishment to all who want to walk away with a smile.

The owner went above and beyond to make my spouse’s and my experience one to remember! He educated me on nail health, took his time, and also created a relaxing and fun experience for us. If we are ever in the area again, we will be sure to come here!

Highly recommend this place. Peter was a gentleman who spoke fluent English and did a fantastic mani/pedi. No short cuts and fit for a queen!

My wife got a full set here and was really disappointed with the work. She asked for a refund and they refused. On top of that they made her wait an hour just to speak to someone and it took 4 hours for the work to get done because the owner had to fix a flooded toilet. DO NOT GO HERE!

I came to get the whole 9 done. Pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was okay however the nail tech cut my skin on both hands and still burning till this day ever time I use hand sanitizer. He took three hours to sculpt my nails coffin shape and still came out weird looking shapes. I’m upset because my birthday was the next day and supposed to take pictures and don’t wanna show nails in it. Also my eyebrows were wax and didn’t look so afterwards but charged me 10$ . He did add a couple diamonds to my nails for free but I think it was because I asked for ombre and he didn’t know how to do it, he was asking his other employee how to do everything while working on my hands.

They had good service and put detail into their work.
