Mary did my coffin shape dip powder nails with tips and she was fantastic she gave me exactly what I was looking for. Lynn did my pedicure and she was also amazing, they both did my nails and toes at the exact same time to be time conscious for me and my schedule which was so so awesome! Lynn noticed imperfections and redid two of my toes which I value so much because she took the time to fix the job to make it perfect. I will be going here from now on they were amazing

Everyone acts nice but not equally competent. One decent stylist to do good manicure. Extremely poor maintaining accurate scheduling process (they say Yes to customers immediately but often triple book). I assume they do this to have more business but it creates inconvenience at minimal, frustration, and significant loss of time for those who have tight schedules. This is my third and last time as it has been same problem each visit. The same “I am sorry”excuse is not as valuable as my time and ensuring my own patients or kids get attended to punctually.

These people are amazing, I started coming here 2 months ago and I can say I finally found the nails spa perfect for me. They not only are really friendly and professional, they also have all the services you may need in one place, which is very convenient. Very clean, friendly staff, no long wait times! I’ve been using this nail salon for years and highly recommend them for you mani/pedi needs! I just went yesterday and had tech Sam do a gel mani/pedi and my nails look amazing!!! I cut my nails very short and he was very thorough and precise with the color I chose!!! I love it and you won’t be making a mistake by going here! Also the massage given during my pedi on my legs and feet was hands down best I’ve had...ever!

I am writing this review based on last 4 visits. Every time I come here, they keep me waiting and take other customers and they dont have an answer why do that. I am not given the manager contact to complain.in my last visit employees here even fought in front of other customers.I have to keep checking everytime whether they did my pedicure and SNS well and ask them to redo. If you dont talk, they just do whatever they want too. This would my last visit to this place.

Tom did my nails and the girl who did my pedi did a wonderful job as well. We came in as a party of 3 and all of us are completely satisfied. I had originally wanted something different and they were accommodating to each request as things changed due to time constraints.Tom was above and beyond friendly, funny, kind, and engaging. I highly recommend him to anyone going here whether it be their first time getting their nails done, bad previous experiences, or they desire conversations. He was so nice and has 20+ years experience. He worked quickly to get us out in time and even working quickly did not compromise quality. I will definitely return based on that when he can take his time.Thank you so much!

My go to nail salon. This place gives me the best manicure of my life EVERY single time!! These are 1.5 weeks old. NEVER BREAKS.

The people are great and really nice! I asked for a specific nail design and Ann was very professional and did exactly what I asked for. She constantly asked me if I was ok with how it looked throughout the process and even checked up on me the day after to see if I was pleased with the service. Ann took her time to make sure the shape and design looked perfect. I absolutely love my nails and definitely would recommend coming to this nail salon!

If I could give more stars I would. I made an appointment this morning with Tom. I walked in picked a color and was seated right away. Tom has over 20 years experience and it showed. Very detail oriented! I have been to many nail salons and hands down, Tom is the best! I had a pedicure and manicure done.

I absolutely love this place. IMO, the best pedicures in town. Go with the herbal pedicure and you wont be disappointed. My only regret is that it took us so long to find this place.

The staff members went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 7 girls on a Saturday afternoon. They explained all the services and were very attentive. I had an amazing manicure and hand massage by Lynn, she was excellent! Ill definitely will be back.

Amazing place! Not only is the location gorgeous but the service is great and Im so happy with my nails! My little sis got cute nail art and I was able to get SNS on my fingers and regular polish on my toes. We will definitely be coming back :D

The herbal pedicure is my favorite! Very relaxing. Zen is always clean with amazing technicians. I appreciate the attention to details as well as expertise. Color selections are amazing. Largest SNS color selection of any salon I’ve been to in Charlotte area. Highly recommend Zen Spa and Nails.

Not impressed! Ive been here twice and noth times was not impressed with their customer service. This time, 11/7/19, I brought my daughters to celebrate my eldest daughters Birthday. I scheduled an appointment for 3 to be seated near each other. We came in and they preceded to seat one daughter. I tried explaining we were together and they clearly couldnt understand me nor I am them. I tried again to explain and was told sorry, were busy! Another worker sneered. I canceled the other two appointments. I wont be coming back.

I had a fantastic experience here! I got dip nail powder and was a little nervous because at a different spa the dip lasted three days and cracked off. Not the case here!! It lasted long and looked beautiful, I will be back! They’re so nice here and really take their time.

I have been getting Manicures for around 8 years now. I had fairly positive experiences at other salons however I always had to wait and then hurried along. Bo at Zen Nails was recommended by a friend .She is wonderful! She always takes me as scheduled and knows me by name. Everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I had my nails done by Tee about 6 months ago and she did amazing. I meant to make thus review then, but i have two kids so im busy and forgetful. Cindy is also amazing. The receptionist is kind and sweet. All of them are very helpful. I show them pics of what i want and they deliver.

I went to this salon for the first time and my nails look horrible. The staff were VERY unfriendly and my nail technician scraped my skin and cuticle and made it bleed because she was being VERY rough yet she pretended it wasnt her fault. She also shaped my nails very thick and uneven and forced me to say that it looks pretty so that she doesnt have to do it again. She put clear and nail polish all over my fingers and just laughed. She didnt bother to put the clear polish professionally because it goes away. The staff also looked and talked to me as if they were belittling me. They also charged more without letting me know beforehand and practically forced me to tip them. I thought I should give it a try because it is in promenade and thought it would be nice but no. They are only friendly do white customers. Not worth $45. Never going there again.

Have never had a problem as mentioned above. The staff is funny and they like to make you feel welcome. They speak English 99% of the time and they understand everything you are saying. The girls even call my mom Grandma and we feel right at home. I love this place!!

Lynn does very good work. Every time. She makes my nails happy.4-11 today she made my nails look so beautiful with that light pink natural looking SNS N 4. She did an excellent job.

So this was such a wonderful experience. The staff is so friendly and helpful and love the ambiance. It was more of a party than a nail experience. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderfully friendly staff. At the tome, I felt like my manicure was rushed and had to ask her to go backAnd my nails. She also only put one coat. Cheap.The manicure a day later has already started to chip.

I have gone to Zen several times to get pedicures. I have always been very happy with their service. Very friendly and they do a great job! I recommend making an appointment as they have been very busy lately and the wait seems to be getting longer for walk in service. Reasonably priced.

This is the ONLY Nail salon I will get my nails done! Thad been doing my nails for 2 years I went from from nails to natural long nails! These people are more like family! They even stayed open late for me tonight! Love you guys Forreal ! So friendly.

My first experience coming here and it was amazing. Very relaxing atmosphere. They play relaxing music and use aromatheraphy. Mia did my gel manicure and pedicure and it was literally the best I ever had. Im so glad a stumbled upon this gem.

The service was great and all their tools are sterilized, plus the whole atmosphere of the salon is wonderful! It is the biggest salon I have ever gone to, and I didnt get that stuffy, unclean vibe that a lot of nail salons have in Santa Rosa. I got a pedicure and the nail polish has lasted more than two weeks, which for an active person like me is very impressive. I would definitely reccomend:)

Not sure what happened but my last visit was disappointing. I took my in law to cheer her up and though my nails and pedicure was great my in law’s manicure was not good. If I could post the pics I would.

Ive been going to Zen For over a year now. Chloe is amazing! My nails have never looked better, and Ive tried many salons in Charlotte. Zen is clean and comfortable. And if Mia isnt available, ask for her sister, Mia. Shes also a great technician.

The service was good, but they added an $8 tip without my acknowledgement! I even wrote a 0 on the tip part. I do this on purpose and leave cash tips. I wonder how many people this has happened to?!?!

Went here with my daughter. They did some cute nail art for her and we had a good time.

I highly recommend this salon. I have been going there for over 2 years. I have not found anyone who does a better job with SNS! They also do a wonderful job in pedicures. They are courteous and friendly, and do all that they can to meet the clients needs.

LAN is my girl! She’s super sweet, pays attention to detail, carries a nice conversation and is very funny ! Also very good at her job and very personable. She makes my eyebrows loook great and she takes her time with me and my nails 10/10 recommend

Went for an SNS manicure. My technician clipped my cuticles WITHOUT sofenting them first, which was super painful, and caused her to draw blood not once, but twice. She ignored my request for round nails, and made them very square. She buffed the polish down way too much in some spots, so the SNS looks very uneven, and there is leftover polish all over my fingertips. No option for lotion, paraffin wax, or anything else was ever presented. $40 down the drain, wont be returning.

Thank goodness you were able to re-adjust my scheduled appointment. Also, I fully recognize that you are new owners and I hope you will continue the $5.00 off in MTW with a required document of paying in advance $5.00 for a 6 month membership.

Would not recommend. Got a pedicure and SNS applied. Both had to be re-done at another salon a few days later... it was that bad! $75 to get it done, too. Ouch.

I originally wasn’t going to leave a negative comment but after my daughter went again and had another poor experience, I will. My daughter took me to Zen on mother’s day and I was looking forward to a little pampering. What happened was far different. Two young girls were doing our pedicures and while my daughter’s tech did a decent job, my tech had little interest in me and merely played with my toes while whispering and giggling to the girl next to her. The entire visit went this way and was the poorest pedicure I’d ever had. Quite a disappointing Mother’s Day treat. I recommend going somewhere else.

I will never go anywhere else! Not only is the space beautiful, clean and relaxing the service is the best Ive ever had. I went in with my mom and we had hour pedicures and sns manicures. David and Ray were fantastic! Even tho it was a busy Sunday they took so much time and attention to make it and amazing experience. And our nails are perfect!!! By far best in charlotte

I was in Charlotte this past weekend and stopped in for a pedicure. I bought the special and I got robbed. The girl that did my pedicure was pure lazy. A couple that was beside me got the best pedicure and mine was horrible. Was not pleased at all with this place.

Chloe and David are awesome. I highly recommend coming here where they actually care about your nails health.

Loved Zen Nails! I got SNS (highly recommend) and they didnt chip and lasted for 4 weeks. They have so many SNS colors, it was hard to choose. The salon is big and very nice. I definitely recommend.

I used to come here all the time for SNS manicures and I LOVED it! However, I recently returned to get my SNS manicure off which I got done while out of town at school. Being that I used to have SNS all the time when I lived here full-time, about a year ago, I was not concerned and ignored the strange customer service I had gotten both on the phone and in person. I made sure to specify that I had SNS on my nails and requested a nail tech familiar with SNS to take it off and give me a regular manicure. My nail tech was a male whose name I dont remember well (Tony maybe?) who was very entertaining to talk to but clueless on what he was actually doing. He proceeded to scrape the SNS off my nails with his own fingernails DESTROYING my nails and then told me to NEVER get SNS again because its too hard to take off. After much nail pain from the removal I was then told that my then color that I originally chose would not look good or last (it was just white) and he picked out his own color and put it on my nails. Zen used to be fabulous but it has gone VERY downhill which is sad! I will not be coming back as my nails still are very thin which is not the case usually after getting SNS removed... if done right!

I tried SNS for the first time at my regular nail salon who has been my go-to for the past 4 years. However, my experience was awful and my “SNS” nails started lifting off and two even popped off within a week of getting them done. Desperate to find a resolution (and a new salon!), I came across Zen Nails & Spa and their great reviews of SNS online. I walked in on my lunch break and Teresa quickly took me in and started from scratch. She was respectful, pleasant, and made sure I was taken care of. I was also surprised by the selection of colors they had available — anything you could possibly want!! I’ve now had my new SNS nails for over a week without any issues. I will be returning to Zen Nails & Spa from now on and will be recommending it to everyone - you will not be disappointed!

Worst pedicure Ive ever had. Polish on my fingers and cuticles; she didnt bother cleaning it off. You can see streaks where the polish wasnt fully applied. Wont be back.

This was my first experience and it was awesome. Chloe did a great job on my mani pedi and she was very informative about my nail care. I think, what impressed me the most was the sanitization of the shop and there isn’t just one expert tech, they all do very good work. I was constantly looking around and every customer looked happy and the lady sitting next me, her nails looked like something out of a magazine. Dude did a great job polishing her nails! The shop is nice and the customer service is wonderful! And they have, I know, over 500 different polish color options.

The experience was satisfactory but average at best. The staff was not as friendly as in the past.

I give this place 3 stars because they do great work (lots of SNS colors), but their customer service is weird. Not necessarily rude, but weird. If you can deal with awkward customer service in exchange for a great SNS mani, you’ll be fine with this place. Details of my visits below:First visit: I was seated quickly and the nail tech told me to go pick a color—so, I did. When I went to sit back down, someone was in my seat and he was doing their nails. Then the nail tech who took over doing my nails, stopped midway to do someone’s eyebrows. But my finished product was awesome.Second visit: A nail tech seated me quickly to soak off previous mani. Someone came to tell me another person will do my nails because the other nail tech had to eat—I understand. I went to the other tech and when she took the foil off my nails and got started, she sucked her teeth and mumbled something when she realized I had extensions on my nails. She appeared to get over it quickly, though. However, in the middle of doing my nails, she FaceTimed someone. But again, loved the outcome.

Great pedicure, but not the best and nails.

It took three nail techs to get my nails right. I got SNS done and Donna left bubbles in my polish/powder. I had to leave but I left a bad review on their FB page and they asked me to come back so they can fix it. I did and the guy they had fix it globbed on so much top coat, it didnt dry. So the third nail tech had to fix his mistake. Two days later, my index fingernail chipped (one of the nails she had fixed). And there is a crack in my thumb nail. Im not rough with my hands. The first time I got SNS done was in St. Louis and they were perfect and lasted for four weeks. After two weeks, I have to get this SNS redone, thanks to Zen Nails, but Im going elsewhere. Btw, Donna screwed up my pedicure too. She barely removed my callus like I asked her to.

My nail tech chomped gum the whole time.I was unhappy with the way my nails were turning out ... Too long and thick. She did not care at all! Very rough sloppy work.
