I am very pleased with the results of using the grout smith. My 56 year old tub looks brand new again! It was a very quick process(3 days) to do a tub and all surrounding walls of tile. Scott and warren were easy to work with.

Groutsmith came to my home to repair/replace some grout in 3 rooms in my home, Primary bathroom including shower and toilet areas, laundry room and a secondary bathroom. Candido and his wife Trini were professional, offered advice on grout color, and took their time to do the job well. They did not rush to finish in a hurry. They showed pride in their work and as a result the grout looks as I imagined and makes the rooms look fresh and clean. I highly recommend Groutsmith.

The Groutsmith completed grout work, cleaned and sealed tile in our shower. The technician showed up as scheduled and completed or project in a timely manner. The Groutsmith team was fantastic. My first contact with the owner was on a phone call from him. He had missed an appt but wanted to call and apologize. That led to us meeting and him confirming that his team would do a great job if we gave them a chance.The main project was our shower floor. We have the small hexagon tiles, so that means there is ALOT of grout work.Not only did the existing grout get cleaned and sealed, new grout was matched up and used to make the shower look better than it did when it was first done. GREAT JOB.We also had our main floor tile/grout cleaned. My wife said it best a day or two after the job was done- “Man, our house looks and feels great.”Job well done, I’m glad I picked up that phone call from the owner, thanks guys!!!!!

I had Groutsmith of Charlotte repair and clean my master bath. A few weeks later everything began to peel and was not satisfied with work. Contacted owner Warren Stone and said nothing could be done but it was under warranty for a year. I’ve tried to call, email and text him and never gotten a response back.Very upset he ignored my concerns and does not hold up to his warranties!!! I noticed Warren only communicates thru Google very unprofessional!!! I have tried many times to call him but never calls me back. He mentions in his response to fix it but never calls me back!!!!Other reviews say exactly the same issue as mine.

Am a realtor and often recommend Groutsmith to my sellers who are getting ready to list their homes. Groutsmith can quickly and reasonably make your tile showers and floors look like new. I had the opportunity to use Groutsmith for my daughters house that she just purchased. The tile floors and grout were extremely dirty. There were some loose and cracked tiles. The technician that came in was extremely pleasant and went about his work. He did an excellent job and the end result were floors that looked clean, fresh and like new! Thank You Groutsmith!

Example...They dont work on Saturdays but made a special exception for me because I wanted it done before I moved in. This company painted my cabinets and did some carpentry work. The job was done well and looks good, but the communication was terrible. And now that the job is done, and I reach out with a simple question, no one responds. Makes me wonder if anyone would be around to warranty the product if I had a problem. Do your homework and consider the very poor communication when considering this company. (I have been dealing directly with the owner - and would have expected more)

We used Groutsmith of Charlotte to clean and replace/repair grout and tile in three bathrooms, including our master bath. The technician did outstanding work and completely refreshed each of the bathrooms. I am extremely pleased with the results. It looks like we renovated our master bath, when all we did was clean the grout!

I hired Warren at the Groutsmith to repair a leak & replace drainpan for $1800.00 & he subbed it out to another contractor for $600.00 who did not do either job, only replacing the tile & caulking & now have to have all the new tile (which I provided) torn out to replace drainpan & repair leak & Groutsmith will not even return my calls or make it right! I would never recommend or use them!

I had a grout clean and seal service started in August in master bathroom and was not satisfied with the work done. Contacted the owner, Warren Stone, and never received a response to my emails, texts, or voice messages over the last 5 months. I remained polite and professional hoping they would eventually address my concerns. They were supposed to schedule a return visit to complete another bathroom but I have never heard back from them. Very poor customer service!! DO NOT HIRE THIS BUSINESS!!

Warren came out almost immediately after contacting them and gave me an estimate. Scheduled to have my standing shower recaulked due to grout. The guys who came did a good job. My only complaint is they could of cleaned up a bit better. I had to clean some of the excess caulk off. Other then that they hid a very good job and were extremely easy to deal with and reasonably priced.

The 2 young men that cleaned, re-grouted, and sealed our master bathroom shower were very polite and professional. They did a great job with the repairs!!! The tile shower looks brand new. I was also impressed with Groutsmith warranty. The owner Warren was very friendly, prompt, and professional. However I wish I had been told what a dusty mess the repairs would create. I would have taken EVERYTHING out of my bathroom. I had to clean and dust all my cabinets, sinks, countertops, mirrors, tile floor, and soaking tub.

Having used Groutsmith in the past, I did not hesitate to contact them again for additional repair work in my master bath. Very professional staff and high quality of work. From the first phone call to set up the inspection and estimate through completion of the work the team was highly professional and responsive. They came when they said they would and explained in detail both what they suggested should be done and why. We received a written estimate and the cost was very reasonable. The install was completed carefully and the finished work looks great. Cant say enough good things about this company.

The team did a very good job. The tile is old and worn but is now lightEr and cleaner. The grout is 100% improved. Cleanup was good but not perfect. The team should wear booties to avoid tracking after leaving the work area. I had some spots to clean up afterwards. Overall good experience! Thank you.

My kitchen floors are tile and looked old and tired. The grout was different colors after 20 years. The Grout Smith cleaned the tile and grout and sealed them and they look like new! Much cheaper than ripping them out and starting over.

I hired this company to clean, re-grout, and caulk my shower area. As a consequence, they asked for a review of their services which I did complete. They advertised that as a “thank you” they would supply me with a quart of grout and shower cleaner. To date, I haven’t received ANYTHING. It was a ruse to get a review and nothing more. In my opinion, it was very DISHONEST !!!!!!!

Poor quality of work first trip and second trip. Too many photos to post. Owner was not quick to reply to handle this... Caulk is peeling, grout lines are spotted color is washing off, uneven lines. We have to pay more money to have someone else come back and fix this job. After several months of disputing the work. Warren, finally offered a full refund. This was the right thing to do and should have not taken so long.

Warren Stone from the grout smith came to my house last week. Our master bath shower was in bad shape. I was considering a new shower/ bathroom renovation. After our previous contractor botched the job, we had The Groutsmith re-grout our master shower and replace the tile on the shower floor. The work was amazing and was done in half the time we thought it would take. Cheryl and Warren are very responsive, honest and friendly, and Craigs work in the shower was professional and thorough. We feel secure knowing our shower is sealed and protected and under warranty with a great company.

They were on time and did a great job. My shower looks wonderful.

The work was done professionally I can say. But Im just not satisfied with them not knowing how to clean the shower doors. If I could give 2 and a 1/2 stars I would. Personally I dont believe that the work is completed without the whole shower being cleaned.

Think about this business before you hire them. My initial impression of the work was good. However, I had to have them back three times to repair peeling. Then when I tried to get it fixed the fourth time, their service was abominable. I emailed over a month, did not get a response. I called and was promised, but never received, a call back. And then they wouldnt even answer the phone. I am going to have to pay somebody else to come in to fix their screw up. Even if they had answered the phone, they could have explained that their service is always terrible and my expectations that they would honor their word were unrealistic. At least then I would have known that they have terrible service and just dont care. Now I know they have terrible work and service but they dont appear to care. This is from a very disgruntled customer who would like to help others avoid the difficulty of working with the Charlotte GroutSmith franchise.Notice that the old reviews are good but the most recent reveiws reflect my experience as well.

We contacted the local owner of Groutsmith in mid-March of 2018 to quote on tile cleaning/grouting in our bathrooms and laundry areas, caulking in the same areas and restoring the shower base in one of our bathrooms. We were pleased with his quote (we had used other contractors in the past) and planned for May completion of the job. The Groutsmith local office contacted us several days in advance to confirm the appointment in May, and the technicians showed up on time. They were knowledgeable of their jobs and friendly. We were totally pleased with all of their work. After they left, we noticed a few areas that we had not realized that additional grout work was needed. The office promptly set up a return visit to complete the work. The difference in the appearance of the floor tiles and shower/bath tiles was amazing. The shower base looked new. We were very pleased with their work and will continue to use them in the future.

Initially, the owner came by to quote the job and was very professional and knowledgeable. That’s where the pleasant experiences came to an end. The employees that came to do the work just rush through the work and do a sloppy job. There was paint left all over the tiles. They were supposed to clean the grout first and then paint it but all we got was a sloppy paint job. They had to come out 3 times to fix the terrible work they did and after that I just gave up and didn’t want to deal with it anymore.Fast forward a year and the paint is coming off. Not worth any of the money I paid.

From the time Warren came and gave me an estimate thru the final stage was very professional. Would definitely recommend them.

Job unfinished and theyre not welcomed back into my home. Tile and grout related work fine, not spray on resurfacing. Job botched, unfinished and unattended for a week, no reply from the owner! Wife just slipped in tub and banged her ankle badly. This is the first negative review Ive left on the internet, thats how annoyed I am right now.
