The installation team works like a fine tuned machine, if any problems are encountered they just dont come to you with the problem but also with solution choices for the problem. The owner or his representative is on site everyday to insure things are going well. The price is reasonable for the quality of workmanship and material used.

Hardwood Giant did an excellent job installing new bamboo flooring in our condo. They communicated and responded quickly and answered our (many) questions about the process. Our family really enjoyed working with the owner and his team. The results of the floor speak for themselves, they look amazing.One of the most important pieces of this process is selected the correct stain color. It was great to have ideas, but the owner and his team sanded off parts of the floor and truly took their time and found the exact color we were looking for. We ended up doing a 50/50 mix and everyone was incredibly patient while we made the huge decision and worked through the options.Refinishing your floors is a great option instead of replacing if yours floors have that ability and Hardwood Giant will make the process a great one for you!

We had water damage and had to replace our entire downstairs floor. Phil came out and gave a really competitive estimate. His team came out and were able to fully replace our floors in just 3 days including tear out. They stayed later the 3rd day so we could get it all wrapped up and get full use of our floors. Hardware Giant sanded my existing hardwoods and installed some new as well where previously was carpet. They did an amazing job. Better than that a new dog did some damage and they returned and repaired as well the dog damage. They do a fantastic job. Real pros! Highly recommend. They did a waterbase so no oil smell and better than that, we think holds up better

Recently used them to put down new floor. Floor looks great. Very cooperative re questions and issues we had. Very concise re details like fireplace surround, carpet thresholds, stain color and dropping off shoe molding before installation of flooring so we could paint it correct matching trim paint color before they installed it.Its those little details that they helped with that is a good indication of how professional they are.

Overall we had an excellent experience with The Hardwood Giant. We had about 1000 sq feet of existing hardwoods that needed to be sanded and refinished, along another 500 sq foot new hardwood that needed to be added. We could not be more pleased with the final product. The floor flows together seamlessly and the color/workmanship is amazing.Phil (owner) worked with me from start to finish, being the only person I ever had to speak with at the company. He was the one to give me a very thorough quote on the first day and was there first every morning to talk me through what they would be working on that day and answer any questions I had.I was also very pleased with the communication and customer service of the company. Phil took the time to go over every option with me for our floors and balusters, probably answering 20+ e-mails from me over the course of the experience.These guys did an awesome job and we are thrilled. Weve gotten a ton of compliments on the flooring and I couldnt recommend them more.PS, we used Jacobean and Ebony 50/50 mix for the color. Its awesome!

I had an excellent experience with Phil and his team. I had my first floor refinished in order to create a more modern look, and I also had new hardwoods installed upstairs (after removing 30 year old carpet). I also had a pretty tight timeline, since I wanted the work done before I moved in, and my lease was ending soon. The upstairs and downstairs look brand new, and you cannot tell which floor is new and which floor is refinished. Phil kept me informed of his progress throughout the job. I just bought a house in Charlotte and needed to get the floors refinished prior to moving in. I was dealing with a time crunch and needed to get the job done as quickly as possible because I had to get moved in. I met with the owner of The Hardwood Giants, Phil, and several other flooring contractors. I liked Phils style the best. They started working within 48 hours of getting the quote and the floors look like new! I changed the color of the floors to a natural oak, but was given multiple options to choose from. Phil and his team installed and finished approx 900 square feet of gorgeous hardwood flooring in our home two weeks ago. Owner was extremely professional and quick to communicate. Estimate and final cost were extremely competitive and fair. His team was a dream. Weve done a lot of remodeling and this is the best team weve encountered. From start to finish, the entire process went exactly as Phil predicted. Except for one important distinction: It was a thousand times better than I imagined. I never doubted him from the initial meeting, but when remodeling, it rarely goes as planned.He explained with sufficient detail to ease my mind. Wood is organic and unpredectible. His stain absorbed and resulted in an impressive deep, rich color.We happened to be onsite during some of the work, and was blown away by the precision of the staff. For example, the guy cutting the quarter rounds made one trip to the chop saw for EACH ROOM !
