Made an appointment online and checked in when I got there. Only 3 chairs in the waiting area, all of which were occupied by a family, leaving me to stand by the door and cash register, and having to dodge every other customer that came in the door. It seemed most were immediately greeted by their stylist and taken back for their cut, but after standing there for 15 minutes without any update about or from my stylist, or so much as a simple apology saying they might be delayed, I let the nearest stylist know that they could just cancel my appointment as I was getting tired of standing there without an update. I have no idea if my stylist was even there, but seeing other comments about them being rude and/or not professional at this location, perhaps I should have expected it. Too bad, as I was excited about this being my new go-to place for hair styling.

Melissa is a pro. Took her time with me and made me feel comfortable on my first visit. Love my haircut. Will be back.

I am new to the Charlotte area and came across this place as being one of the better places for a haircut. It definitely lived up to expectations. CHANDLER did an excellent job on my haircut and left me extremely satisfied. The service is a bit pricey but I would still recommend this place to anyone who truly wants a nice haircut.

Been here a couple times and both times leave looking like I just left Great Clips but paid four times as much. Its pretty pricey, and the haircut is certainly no better than Great Clips. The store is beautiful inside, but thats really about it. Pretty disappointing.EDIT - Figure Id give these guys a second chance. The haircut wasnt that bad this time, though still no better than a Great Clips. I did get their Clean Shave whatever it is, and it was pathetic. I went home and actually shave again because they did such an awesome job. It was chopping and had stubble everywhere. If you really need a haircut or shave, DIY!

While the first haircut was excellent, each one gets better and better as she learns your hair.If you need a haircut, do yourself a favor and give Chandler a call - she’s awesome!

Went for my hair appointment yesterday that I scheduled with KELSEE. I had been going to this specific roosters for about almost 3 years now. Not all the time have i come out with the best of haircuts, but never have I left with the atrocity I left with yesterday. I went to have hair that grew out over quarantine to be trimmed. Not only did i have to wait 25 minutes after my scheduled time due to her taking someone before me for some reason, but I left with half my hair shaved off, cut UNEVEN, it does not match, and it looks like i cut my hair myself. On top of that my hair was not washed, shampooed, or styled though i had to pay for services in which stated that would he provided! Honestly I probably could have done a better job had i done it myself. After being told by Kelsee that my hair was finished I had to point out that it was uneven for her to then realize she did indeed need to fix it! What a joke! Regardless, I am absolutely appalled. I go back to school soon and now not only do i have to go to another barber to have my hair FIXED, but i will go back with hair much shorter and much more dumb looking then I would have wanted! So what I have come to realize is that the staff here do not care about the service they provide, but the money they earn. My haircut was rushed from what should have been a 30 minute slot to about 10 minutes. I will NEVER go back to any roosters ever again in my life and I hope people see this review so they can steer clear of getting a half A** haircut for a premium price. Boy did i learn my lesson

After many years of going to haircut places in strip malls (Great Clips and the like) my wife convinced me I should try a place that specializes in mens grooming. I made an appointment with Nicole for my first visit some 8 months ago. I was warmly greeted as I entered and immediately was seated for my haircut. No waiting or calling ahead to see how busy they were. The first part of the hair care was a dry cut. I figured that would be it, as my hair is not so fussy (except for a curly patch on one side). My chair was spun around and I was asked to lay back for hair washing. A hot towel is draped across your face and the warmth is very relaxing. This was not a one minute dunk-and-drip, but a thorough cleaning, massaging of the scalp, and rinsing. When this is done, you feel like a new man. Post washing, the cut is completed with a wet cut to really shape the hair. A finish with some styling gel and you are out the door. This is a half hour that is well worth the effort and is really good if you do anything in life that is stressful.I have been back every 6 weeks since that first trip and the treatment is always top notch. I feel that they value my business. I wont ever go back to hair cut factories again.

My son and family have been going to Kelsee at Roosters in Rea Farms for as long as I can remember. Kelsee has always been simply amazing, professional, and has gone above and beyond to make sure my whole family has the best service and hair cuts. She listens attentively to your wishes and makes sure you are happy before you leave. She even has special coffee creamer for her clients to sweeten their day. She is an artist not just a hair cutter and she is truly an amazing person. Especially great eith kids of all ages. You won’t go wrong at this place. A salon like this may be more expensive than a sports clips but trust me when I say its worth the money. Ive realized I can go almost twice as long without having to get a follow up haircut than when I used to go to sports clips so financially it comes out to be about the same. I have been in Charlotte 5 plus years and finally found a place that does a great mens cut at a reasonable price. Clean, attractive and modern place. Cassie is the best hairstylist i have had ever!

I have been to a lot of establishments over my life and never felt the need to leave a review for any business before I went to this roosters. I have been other Roosters before and had fine experience. At this establishment though, the service is horrible, the ladies took advantage of me thinking I was a first time customer and charged me $35 for a haircut with no hot towel, no shampoo, no shave, nothing and still full price. On top of that she did not show me the back of my head when she was done and I can see why, literally worst haircut I have gotten in my life, no exaggeration. Uneven lines and clumps in hair everywhere. If you are thinking about going here I recommend saving the money and going to great clips, because honestly their service is better.

I went there at 10:30 on Friday, November 3, 2017. There were 4 women and one man waiting for customers. I had an appointment with Amanda bu for some reason the woman checking me in assigned me to the guy instead. He was an absolute newbie - and I had asked specifically for an experienced person. While the guy did his best the women had a little party in the backroom. It was uncomfortable as I felt I was intruding on them. Very poorly managed - I suspect the owner does not check on them that much. Go to Great Clips - same mediocre haircut for less than half the price and friendlier staff.

Made the mistake of walking to hair Cuttery out of desperation, big mistake worst haircut I’ve ever had luckily. I ran into this place, the service will be top notch place smells good it looks great. there’s nowhere else to go. My hairstylist Tiffany was awesome super friendl, She treated me to a nice head massage shoulder massage and the hot towel over my face felt amazing. Most importantly she was able to correct the mess and I now look normal. Thank you Tiffany will be coming back I definitely recommend this place.

Sorry, but when the stylist leaves after they tell you to come in even though you are running 10 minutes late, it is terrible service. I get that I was late but if you say to go ahead and come in, then the person should stay and not leave work early that day.
