Byrons is a great event space for any occasion..It is a great location in a historic part of Charlotte and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet walking distance to it all!The catering service was good and the staff was very helpful with the lighting/setup/projection monitor. Very professional.

Love the new layout and flat entry way. Ive enjoyed working and setting up events here, as well as attended several. The layout is great. Big open floor plan. Great caterers and staff. Check it out for your next event.

Being an Old School individual like myself, I am not necessarily into trendy venues. This old knitting mill with its edgy industrial architecture fits the bill for many young couples like my brother-in-law and his bride. The reception area is several thousand square feet capable of hosting large parties. Staff was attentive and bathrooms were clean. Parking deck a short walk away. There are probably different levels of food options to accommodate your budget but when it comes to most venues YOU WILL PAY. Food was good and I will leave it at that. Two concerns....there was no way, from what I could see, to drop off women, children, older people from a car to any entry point without walking a short distance. We had several people with walkers and some older people who had a little bit of a struggle, especially since it was raining. You may want to check with the staff to see if there are other entry points for individuals with issues. Another concern, the ceremony was held in part of the mill where business offices are located. It is kind of a Grand Hallway. The doors on one side were not locked from the outside and we had a few stragglers enter the building during the wedding. They were very quiet when they realized there was a ceremony taking place and promptly left. I would suggest locking, signage or even an attendant to prevent this from happening. Overall, everyone attending plus bride and groom had a wonderful time.

Great place for an event. The space is nice but still not a huge fan pf the food. I dont know who caters but it is not anything to remember other than I would eat before going depending on caterer.

Amazing wedding reception here. Staff were so accommodating. Beautiful venue. Decor was fab.Lots of space for dancing.

Perfect venue for catered events. Location has an edgy, hipster vibe based on funky brick interior and exterior, its location in the south end section of Charlotte, and the unique pass-through area one must walk through to get to the actual facility. Their catering partner has great food, wonderful wait staff, and a slick, well practiced approach to serving mid-sized groups efficiently but graciously. The facilitys audio systems are not perfect, and Ive observed glitches at many events. During a daytime event you often hear squeaking from footsteps on the floor above. Not ordinarily a problem unless the event is Solemn or somber.

My Grandsons wedding was here on Saturday. The venue was fabulous and the service the best. This is a perfect place for a wedding of over two hundred people.

Rochling did a great job. The Entertainment and the Food (Sea Bass) were very good.

As the owner of the Celestial Cakery, I can easily say that Byrons South End is one of Charlottes best wedding venues. My husband was eating in this building back when it was the Spaghetti Warehouse in the late 90s (and reminds me every time we deliver a wedding cake). We love working with the staff and delivering a cake to such a beautiful venue just makes me smile :)

We loved Byrons South End! We moved in the middle of wedding planning and Byrons did everything to make our wedding planning seamless. Everything we needed was done electronically- communication, layouts, payment. The actual wedding day and leading up to the wedding was perfect. They accommodated everything we needed and made it as low stress as possible. The service at the wedding was phenomenal. Guests said that if they motioned for the waiter, most of them hustled right over to help. The food was fantastic and there was a lot of it. The space is gorgeous! I loved that the tables and chairs came with the venue. I was so happy to use Nebel alley for pictures as well as the courtyard for cocktail hour. The ceremony and reception was inside, which was great since the day was very warm. Danielle, Crystal, and Stephanie were very professional during the entire event. I worked with Danielle. I didnt meet Stephanie until my wedding day, but she did an excellent job! Did I mention how delicious the food was? Everyone raved about the appetizers and loved the buffet we did. A lot of our guests stayed at the Hilton City Center downtown, which has a stop on the light rail, and used the light rail to get to the venue. The East/ West stop is right there! There were a lot of opportunities for great photos with a gorgeous city backdrop.

I have been to several events in this space from wedding receptions to business meetings. The food is good.

Because of eating at Byrons on October 23rd, I ended up extremely sick within 30 minutes of eating here. Sadly, I was hospitalized for 5 days from this eating experience.I was mislead by one of their servers about the contents of seafood in one of the buffet choices.The owner has not taken any responsibility to contact me personally, even though the very hateful head chef assured my wife that he would.WARNING: IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES, BEWARE. This is NOT A FOOD ALLERGY SENSITIVE catering service.
