Ive lived in this apartment for about 3 years now and Ive gone through a lot of changes in management and maintenance, and I can speak from experience that the current management has been doing a wonderful job to maintain a well kept complex and adhere to my person requests and questions. I enjoy living in this location very much for the convenience and fun, that is still not too close for privacy and comfort. Id recommend a courtyard balcony, its a beautiful space!

Would not recommend living here to a friend. I have now lived here for 2 years and have dealt with 3 different management/ownership changes. The employees lack professionalism when explaining charges, rent fees, or sending basic information needed for renewals. From the very first experience signing our first lease to renewal leases, there has always been incorrect information displayed on the lease that we have had to correct before we were able to sign. When I came to the office once to have my key that I lost be replaced I was told to go to Lowes and make a copy of my roommates. Having worked in leasing before I know this is not correct protocol. The hallways are stained, there is always trash on the property and furniture that sits by the dumpsters for weeks. Overall, there is a lack of attention to detail, professionalism and care for their residents and the property itself.

335 and their new management team has really stepped things up in the past months. I am pleased to see positive changes in the community and have a responsive team that is here to help their residents. I have been living here for 2.5 years and have seen a few management transitions, and this one has been for the better. My apartment is spacious and I do love the outdoor terrace. For the price and location the small down falls (no dog park or large green space,) are worth looking past. The maintenance staff are incredibly hardworking and they are prompt to respond to issues.

Loved the tour I took here! Ricki Wilson was awesome and was able to answer the millions of questions I had about both the property AND the area. Its one thing to have great amenities etc. but its also nice when theres someone on staff that also knows about the area you could be calling home soon too.Even though the place sits off a kind of busy street, the plethora of gated entrances made it still feel like a private and cozy community.

I’ve lived at Three30Five for about a year and a half now and have loved it. The apartment itself is in such an awesome location - walking distance to all the best things South End has to offer. The amenities and updates in the building are great, especially for the price. I’ve also had a great experience with the staff. Pam, the leasing specialist, is such a sweetheart! She always comes out to say hello when I’m walking my dog. The only downside to this complex is that they are MAJOR sticklers on parking. I’ve been towed twice for not having my pass displayed well enough, which is frustrating. Other than that, it’s a great place to live.

I have lived at 335 for over a year now. I moved to a new apartment within the complex after my first year lease was up and had some complications come up with the new apartment. They were so quick to adjust things and make sure my move was as quick and seamless as possible. Any issues or maintenance needs that I have brought to the staffs attention have been addressed very timely! The leasing office staff, Pam and Ricki, are so friendly and quick to help with any questions/concerns you may have. Overall it’s a great community that puts their residents first and makes sure to provide a great living environment as well as fun activities/amenities for residents.

Also to get your sweat on they have a workout room. Also they have a really nice theater room that you can reserve anytime you want. Also they are pet friendly so don’t hesitate to bring your furry friend along with you 😊. I highly recommend 335 apartments it is definitely the place that feels like home👍🏾. Active Resident, as fair and honest can be...The only reason why I give this place 2 stars is because I love my washing machine, and the work Julio did to get it installed. For that, I agree that the staff is nice, but last I checked theres no awards for that. The Space:I currently live in one of the Tyber units (West side of complex, +900 sqft) and absolutely loath my decision for having rented here. Sure its large and cheap considering the price-per-sqft in this location, but theres absolutely no storage, aside from a large walk-in closet. You dont realize how important storage is until you look around and realize everything is on display. A mere coat closet would have been a redeeming quality. The Quality:Insulation and sound proofing leave much to be desired. Worst case scenario: Upstairs resident who has no clue as to what good-neighborly etiquette consists of. I can here every step/stomp taken, parties thrown, bowel-movement exhausted, sexual encounter explored. Ive been forced to complain directly and indirectly numerous times, but understand theres not much that can be done to prevent this when the units are poorly constructed. Aside from my neighbor, my unit overlooks Tremont Rd, and of course they dont tell you during walk-throughs that this is a primary emergency vehicle by-way. You can hear the firetrucks blazing past multiple times a day. And lets not forget all the construction! There is literally construction noise coming from every direction of this complex. I work from home often and its quite the inconvenience in dealing with the constant background noise piercing through my headset when on calls for all to hear. The Presentation:I dont know who was hired to do the redesign of the complexs renovations that occurred, but theyre gawd awful. Interior design is definitely not their calling. If you dont believe go look at the mural on the exterior near the office and try to make sense of it, therein lies the theme youll experience during your stay, unrelenting chaos. The Amenities (Good, Bad, Ugly):The gym is sufficient, everything I need to get a good workout in when Im not at the Dowd is available. The pool is tiny, you dont realize how small until you go on a seemingly perfect day for dip and realize how impractical it is for a crowd of 20 people. The parking Garage, this is the worst change yet. When I first moved in, the parking situation was nice, there was plenty of space for Green Decal holders. Now that construction has consumed more then half of the outside northern parking, everyone is given access to the garage and if you dont have your vehicle parked prior to 9pm during the week days, theres a strong possibility youll have to find parking outside, blocks away from the building. Not cool when its an amenity paid for as part of my leasing contract. The Nail in the Coffin:The Penrose Apartments across the way just installed bright-white LED sidewalk lights that point directly into my unit. Its like having a high-powered flash light in your face from dusk till dawn. Ive complained, management has said theyre doing something about it, a month later I still cannot enjoy my large balcony at night when the temperature has cooled, traffic has died down, the water feature gurgling soothing sounds and the beer in hand relaxing my nerves. At least the decision to renew my lease is easy, never in a million years. Not to say this is the universal experience, I just know there wasnt fair, honest and recent reviews during my search.

I have lived here for 15 months now because the location is amazing. However, if you live here be use to having to evacuate the building an average of once a month due to the fire alarm going off. Sometimes it’s during the day so hope you aren’t on a work call (aka everyone right now due to COVID) or it is the middle of the night (right now I’m writing this review at 3 am). I understand that things happen but this is an issue that has been going on repeatedly and most people don’t even leave their apartments because they are so use to it going off and I have friends who won’t even stay at my apartment because they are over it (I repeat they don’t even live here and are over it!!)! Otherwise, this place has been about average but this is an issue that needs to be addressed and if there were something that I don’t want to malfunction at my home, it would be the fire alarms.

Overall a decent apartment building but wildly overpriced given the incredibly poor management. Recently there have been issues with the fire alarms consistently going off every few hours (including the wee hours of the morning.) Management sent no email informing residents about what was going on. Further, the elevators are frequently broken with, again, no communication from management as to (1) the fact that the elevators aren’t working or (2) when they plan to fix them. Lastly, I’ve had multiple issues getting packages from the management team. When something gets delivered they typically hold it in the office for you to pick up. Staying on brand, this poor management team is never in front office except during normal business hours when we are all at work. (They also close for lunch which eliminates any chance of you popping home mid work day to grab something from the office.) I once called and asked the management team to take my package and leave it outside my apartment door. They forgot to do this and then complained that “calling is really not efficient for them because they get so busy they sometimes forget something they don’t receive via email.” Basically if you’re going to spend as much money as it costs to live here you’ll be better off going somewhere with even slightly competent management because you won’t find it here.

The apartment also had an amazing view of the uptown Charlotte, especially at night! They dont usually list three bedroom apartments on their website but if you call they usually have one available (Not use why they dont list them since I know people are usually ALWAYS trying to find a good 3 bedroom in South End!) Lots of guest parking which was really nice when I had friends visiting. It is a 5-10 minute walk to Sycamore Brewery, Rite Aid, Blaze Pizza and more! Ive lived in Charlotte for three years and this is the cheapest rent Ive been able to find anywhere. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice 3 bedroom with their friends in the heart of South End!

Nightmare experience living here. Terrible “management” as stated by several other reviews. They raised our rent 168% for no reason, send harassing emails, and exhibit zero care for residents. The cowards will stuff “official notices” in your door instead of behaving like civilized human beings. Our attorney sent them a cease and desist letter it has gotten so ridiculous. We experienced regular 3 AM fire alarms, poor apartment build quality, and vandalism to our cars without care. We are thankfully on countdown to moving out and absolutely would not repeat this experience. Turnover is high, with more people moving out than in, take note. If you are considering being their tenant, you would be wise not to. Ram Realty/510 is horrible. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

I’ve been trying to get an appointment to take a tour but i have not been successful in the last two weeks. If you call the leasing office, there’s an automated answering machine that does not let you connect with a real human. They mention on website and on the answering machine that their office is open on Sundays 1 pm to 5 pm. We decided to walk-in without an appointment but the office was closed and a board that said they are not open on sundays. It’s not very difficult to update this on the website. I signed with this apartment about two months ago. It was pretty short notice and I didnt know the area well but needed a place due to a new job. I chose 335 because it had the most fair rent for what you get of the apartments I toured in south end. After living here for a little while, I feel like I really lucked out when signing with this place. Its in the best location. About a 5 min walk if even to Atherton Mill and other shops which have coffee, Sephora, Anthopologie, Free People, West Elm, Etc. Theres also QC pour and Pins Mechanical on the same street, which are always lit. Its about a 5 min walk from the light rail east/west station as well.As far as the apartment goes, Ive had a great experience. Angel was my tour guide and hes always so helpful when I have talked to him. I feel like the staff is actually there to help versus some apartments just wanting your money. A gift was provided upon move in (I got a suitcase). I have put in a few online maintenance requests since move in and theyve all been taken care of so promptly. I always see the maintenance workers on site and theyre super friendly. The garage also feels super safe, as its harder than most places to get in without a fob.I live in a studio apartment, and while it is expensive, I feel like the place is so modern and kept up that you get what you pay for. Other South end apartments are close in price and while the locations are good, some places are kind of trashy. 335 is definitely not. Its mostly young professionals like the rest of south end, but people respect the community for the most part. This is the safest Ive ever felt in any apartment.Overall, I love Three30Five. I intend to sign again next year and wish I wouldve signed a longer lease. (fingers crossed that the rent doesnt go up too much next year)12/30/20 UPDATE:I have moved out since I last wrote my review. I loved this place at first. During covid the management changed and all of my favorite staff quit. The recycling started getting piled up bad in the garage. Hallways became noticeably dirty. I got 2 flat tires from the garage. Every time I would walk into it I would see at least one screw on the ground somewhere (not sure what was up with this???). I still wanted to live here because I saw the unit next door to me was $200+ cheaper and had the same floor plan. I was told I could not downgrade in rent so I decided to move elsewhere. My AC was also broken for over a month and I had an in-window unit. Not a place you want to pay around $1350 for after fees and utilities. One positive thing that I will say is the new staff was kind enough to give me some mail that was sent there after I left and I also got my full deposit back. This place could be really nice again with a lot of improvements

People in the front office are not rude, and not understanding. Events used to happen weekly, now they never happen. Communication on their part is HORRID. Love living here. Been here 5 months and really enjoying it. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Maintenance issues are fixed quickly. They have lots of resident events, sometimes more than one a month. Building is generally very quiet. Walk to the light rail in 5 min. Sycamore brewing is around the corner. Wooden Robot, Common market is a 10 min walk. Free Starbucks machine is fantastic. Lounge game area is really cool. Very close to uptown, Ive walked in 20 min. If youre a runner, you can easily run through the shaded craftsman home neighborhoods in Dillworth, which is only a few blocks away. The common areas are great, the only complaints about the building I have is the pool is rather small (but really, that hasnt been an issue), and the guest entry is hard to find and confusing for people, and its also nowhere near where they can park. Other than that, its fantastic. We have a great view of uptown, and the apartments are modern and updated. Recommended.

Worst apartment we have ever lived in. The walls are paper thin. We can hear the neighbors above us day and night, and people walking in hallway from inside of our apartment. When we informed the complex management they said it’s just inconsiderate neighbors and did absolutely nothing. We had to endure waking up at 3 am to loud noises from our upstairs neighbors. We have professional jobs and are often up all night with noises. This place just seems like they were in a hurry to cash in on the boom in Charlotte and threw up some walls and signed people up.There is new management and they say they are adding insulation to the floors as people turnover so that is good.

This place is a bit of a joke. It looks classy upon your first visit, and the amenities are nice, but once you move in, you quickly see beneath the surface. The main issue is maintenance, and keeping the property clean. There are constantly beer bottles left in the stairwells, dog waste bags overflowing from the waste bins, and no timely follow-up on requests. I contacted maintenance at 2pm on a Friday to let them know my microwave was CATCHING ON FIRE, and they didnt respond, and instead, left property for the day. I had to go down to the leasing office several hours later to figure out next steps, and was told Id be contacted on Monday. Completely unacceptable. Also, trash collection is a mess (no pun intended). The chutes are always jammed and trash overflowing into the hallway. The building trash compactor continually malfunctions and makes loud thumping noise, often waking us up in the middle of the night. The other issue is the low-grade construction – the walls and floors are just too thin. We hear our neighbors all the time, and have been kept up late at night and woken up early in the morning because of them. The nicest thing about the property is the club room and pool area, but the pool chairs are always broken – there are 10 working lounge chairs out there now. For a building with hundreds of residents, that just doesn’t cut it – unless you get out there at 10am, you don’t get a seat.A new management company came in a couple months ago and has made claims that they are changing things, but I’ve yet to see changes. The only change I’ve seen is that we used to have bi-monthly resident socials and those no longer happen. Save your money and go rent elsewhere!

The location of 335 is amazing. Moved in almost 2 years ago and Greystar management was amazing. My roommate and I got a steal on the price of our place so our current rent isnt terrible, but from what I understand, the current starting rent is pretty high. Im not completely sure how it compares to other apartments in the South End area. I do love our apartment. Neighbors are all around our age group and will sometimes hear parties being thrown but only on weekends when expected. During the Greystar management area, there were bi-weekly events (if not more frequently), free exercise classes, and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful.Im honestly not sold on new management. They are friendly enough, although I have never approached them with a serious complaint. Maintenance does respond within 2-3 days of putting in an order. They are currently hosting free exercise classes once weekly (although have not been great about always communicating this). When they took over, there was talk about monthly social events, but they have hosted none over the last few months. They arent terrible, but personally had a better experience with Greystar.

Came to Charlotte without any previous knowledge of the area, only by a few people who lived down in the area. Signed a two bedroom spur of the moment with 335, taking the chance of the unknown. I was super impressed at how beautiful the complex was, including the courtyard/gym/pool and the apartment itself. Taylor at the main office made the application process extremely smooth and stress-free. The entire staff was very friendly and proactive when making sure my transition to the area was easy. The location of the complex is phenomenal: proximity to the lightrail, several restaurants, breweries, a Publix grocery store. Overall, Id highly recommend 335 to anyone moving to the area.

Closer to a 3.5:Pros: Consistent resident events, friendly staff, and most of the amenities offered by apartments in the area (gym, starbucks machine, pool table, etc) Also, only about 2 years old so most everything is new.Cons: THE OBNOXIOUS POOL RADIO playing at all hours of the day for every resident to hear on their balconies, through the paper walls, and anytime you wanted to open a window. The pool is tiny. And whether you want it or not youre forced to spend $125 a month on SLOW wifi, crap cable tv, and useless valet trash.
