I have been coming here since Freshman year of college and now I’m a junior and I still swear by this place! Amazing service and such a nice staff. You can never go wrong here.

Clean and professional! My nails always look fabulous. And the owner is always putting customers first, even if that is being honest about wait times for walk-in customers. I appreciate that honesty.

I am rating it 3 stars for a number of different reasons. I had acrylic fill in done with a french gel manicure. It was quick (which is not necessarily a good thing in this instance) I like that the nail tech was efficient to do the shape I wanted, however when it came time to the color and it was less than average. She did 1 coat. (Not even 2 ...#confused). There was a large group of people waiting so she pretty much just did the color as fast as she could. When I walked out and saw my nails in the light, the color barely covered my nails on the edges, was very sloppy and again she literally only did 1 coat of color. She also didnt do any lotion at the end. At all. The staff was semi-friendly. The owner was the friendliest. Will probably need to go back in 4 days for a color change. Overall, I probably wont go back after that. It wasnt a totally negative experience but dont mess up my color or forget a step....that is all I have to say.

I went here with my friends and we are all very satisfied with our experience. The shape of our nails were literally perfect and definitely will be coming back!

My friend and I had an absolute wonderful experience here. We are visiting town for a couple days and my nails were looking horrible. Walked into their business got, greeted immediately and instantly got taken care of by the staff. I had a mani pedi and my girl got a pedi. Miss Rita took care of me and made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. Super happy with how amazing the service was. Friendly, clean, relaxing environment. 10/10 Well done I will definitely refer people here and if I make it back it will def be a stop for me!

No communication, pedicurist got up and left me in my chair when they were finished without telling me that they were finished with their services. The pedicurist got up and left. No one asked me for payment, etc. I put cash down and finally started to walk out. The pedicurist came out and did not say anything. On a final note, they had somebody smoking their hallway. The smoke was easily smelled in their facility. No a good experience.

Make a reservation as they stay busy. Excellent service but do not walk-in. Make an appointment ahead of time or you will wait

Got a pedicure here when I was in Charleston for a wedding. It was not the best, especially for the price, but the technician was very nice.

The service was terrible worst nail place ever she told me that her she doesnt doesnt do nails before pay while everyone else paid after there service by the way Im the only black person inside and she was done she just got up and walked away didnt even say anything I will be wasting money here again you guys are disgrace

I have been here twice, and both experiences were okay. They offer refreshments, which is nice, and most of the employees are friendly. My first time, I got a pedicure, and it was enjoyable at first. However, as more customers started coming in, my pedicure became VERY rushed and not enjoyable at all. I understand that you have limited staff, and you want to not make customers wait long, but that shouldnt mean that my experience, that I paid a lot of money for, should be rushed. My most recent experience was a week ago, where I got a gel mani and pedi for an important school event. I didnt feel that rushed this time, however one of my friends that I was with was very rushed (her pedi was started after mine, but both her pedi and mani were finished before I had barely sat down at the mani counter). To top it all off, starting a couple of days ago (less than a WEEK after I got them done), the nail polish has already started to peel off. Not worth the $90 (including tip) that I paid for them.

Best nail place in town! The staff here is amazing and they all do such a great job. My husband and myself love getting pedis together and I love having my nails done and eye brows done.

We got pedicures the staff is super friendly and pretty funny. Ask about the secret menu. If she hasn’t told you already. Great experience!

Spent about $35 on a regular gel manicure they chipped 2 days later i could peel them all off right now. Ain’t worth it even though they look good they shouldn’t chip even more each day

Been going there for years and they are great. I have trouble with ingrown toenails and the technicians always know how to handle them WITHOUT pain. The place is very clean. They speak English very well. They are friendly and always willing to help. I like the place.

Mike was AMAZING! I dropped in Friday morning looking for a quick pedicure as a guest for a wedding the following day. We were visiting our in-laws in Greensboro, so I just picked the location closest to us. I had no idea that I was about to have one of the best pedicures I’d ever had! Mike was friendly, respectful of when I needed to take work calls, offered the wifi password, had sincere conversation and the massage portion of the pedicure was far superior to any others I have received. Usually that portion can feel rushed and you can feel like someone is just slapping lotion on your legs, but Mike really cared about the quality. The painting of my nails came out great as well! I was just expecting a pedicure and instead I got a mini unexpected spa experience! Thank you Mike!

They dont do polish change or take walk ins!

No idea where the 5 star rating came for this place.Walked in for a Manicure, was told 10-15 minutes, while Im waiting, additional patrons walked in. At the 30 minute mark, Im finally asked to sit and wait, however as soon as I sit, a couple that came in after I did, were sat to start their service.Left at the 45 minute mark.Extremely poor customer service with no interaction from the staff.

Love the service I get here and the staff is so friendly and always willing to help. They do get really busy at times, but make an effort to make sure everyone is taken care of. I do try to plan ahead and make an appointment just in case. Being out of town though, sometimes my appointments can be last minute but they always try to fit me and do a great job!

The owner wasnt very friendly and she left my boyfriends feet sore but the service was good

After trying three nail salons here in Charleston, this one took the cake. They did my nails very nicely, neatly, and quickly. I got a full set with gel and the student discount made it affordable too! Definitely going to go back! 5/5

I am always treated well when I come into the Tip 2 Toes Nail Salon. They are friendly and want to give the best possible service.

My experience here was not what I expected. I asked for a pedicure and the result was something I could have done myself. They did not remove all of my previous polish from my toes before repainting them. I also waited 2 1/2 hours before wearing shoes and when I finally did my toes all smudged. I got the SNS dipping powder and they gave me a different color than what I asked for. Nice people, but not a good manicure/pedicure. I won’t be going back in the future. Total waste of time and money.

I didn’t think a non-relaxing pedicure was possible before I came here. My feet were soaking in the water for 50 minutes before someone helped. There was 1 lady working on the first floor and there were 3 other customers other than myself. She was running back and forth to each of us, I feel bad for her that nobody else was down here. I timed my pedicure from start to finish and it lasted just short of 16 minutes. Will never be back again. Polish looks terrible and the massage lasted a total of 1 minute, and that is being generous. Oh, and to top it off it smells terrible and I have a headache.

I chose this place because of all the positive Google reviews and I was not disappointed. Each manicurist was thorough (which is very important to me) and took their time for my nails. They used new tools and good products!!! Everything in order and very pleasant. The prices are very good. You stole my heart! WILL BE BACK!

Visiting Charleston and stopped in for a pedicure. The front door is very unassuming and I almost kept walking. The salon is on the 2nd floor and the entry is a stairway. They have a large menu of different types of pedicures. I chose a lavender pedicure and Tina was excellent. One of the best nail techs I’ve had. Very sweet. She mentioned that the salon had new owners for about a month (April 2018) and they have remodeled and added new massage chairs. Would definitely come back!

I got a full set with gel and I kid you not every single nail has almost broken since. There is only one lady available to do acrylic which is ridiculous how can you be a nail salon when the manager is the only one allowed to do full sets. When I went to get it done she was rude and had the audacity to ask me if I got it done here. Not to mention once the nail was fixed she didn’t even bother to take the acrylic off.. just took the tip off and put more acrylic on top didn’t even file to match the other fingers.

I had a wonderful experience. The woman who did my nails was very thorough & made sure they were even. The color selection was great & the experience as a whole was very relaxing. I would certainly go again. I LOVE Tips 2 Toes

This was hands down the ABSOLUTE WORST nail salon experience Ive ever had. I wish that I could give zero stars! I went in for a manicure and although the nail technician was personable, she damaged almost all of my cuticles!!! Instead of trimming them lightly, she basically ripped them off. I had one finger that WOULD NOT STOP BLEEDING because the cuticle was so badly damaged. I was not offered a band-aid or any first aid, and had to resort to using the towel to prevent blood from dripping everywhere. To top it all off, the technician told me to just come back during the weekend to get the fingernail painted--uh, Ill pass on that. Ive included a picture of what it looks like now that it finally stopped bleeding. It is now a few hours after the appointment and my cuticles are still so sore, and when I look at them closely, I see that all of my cuticles are patchy (evidence of them being ripped off!). I really hope that my cuticles can recover from such a traumatic experience. I came in to relax from a stressful week and left even more stressed! I will not return to this salon and wont ever recommend it to anyone.

Amazing! Accidentally broke my nail and just went n and told them what happened. They fixed my nail right away with no wait free of charge! The best nail salon downtown.

Went in here after I was done shopping for food for my friend. Its a really amazing place! Every inch of this salon is very clean and the services here are very good. But, moving on to the manicure. The nail tech removed the cuticles without causing me to bleed and she reshaped my nails nicely. When she was done, I asked her to paint my nails a certain way and she comply with no problems. When she was done, I was very impress with her work. All my nails look just perfect! Highly recommend getting your nails done here! Will definitely be coming back the next time Im visiting my friend!

Every technician here does not offer quality service. My feet were not scrubbed during my classic pedicure- the male technician told me that was because I didnt buy one of the more expensive pedicures. My nail polish was bubbly. I went back to get it fixed and he just polished over it. I left with nails that were not to my satisfaction.

They try their best to fit everyone in and are very polite but they rush though your appointment and due to that their work doesnt last. I had a full set done and they started coming off in two days. For the amount of money you pay, they should last. Ill have to get them redone but I wont be returning here. If they took the time for each client maybe their work would shine through.

Very very dissatisfied. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Came in for an appointment and ended up not getting what I initially made an appointment for. Not even after 24 hours gel polish was coming off. Called to notify the salon and management was very unprofessional and rude. As a first time customer I was very dissapointed, I WILL not be returning and advise people to look elsewhere for nail service.

My favorite nail salon in Charleston! Quality, friendly service. They offer you free wine with a pedicure (I guess its hard to drink when you have your hands occupied so no wine with manicures :)). Its box wine but whatever, its free! Ive come here to pedicures, manicures, gel manis, and acrylics and all have been perfect. Ive also only ever done walk-in and have never had to wait longer than a few minutes. Definitely recommend.

I initially started coming here because I wanted to dry Dip and my friend referred this place to me. Had a great experience. The work was meticulous and thorough. I only go for manicures but they do an incredible job. I do admit, their space is pretty narrow. This has been one of the best nailshops that ive ever been to! And I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Tina was EXCELLENT! Her foot and leg massage was absolutely fantastic. Quick service, nice selection of colors, and great massage chairs. Warm-up drinks were a nice touch!

I have been going here for over 2 years now and love it more and more each time, plus the new renovations make the place look so nice and inviting! Everyone in charleston should use this salon!

I always go here! I love these guys! Great work, but sometimes it does get a little over crowed, but if you make an appointment you should be fine.

At the time thought they were great, except for one of our parties the girl that did her toes burned her with the file. Then after we left noticed that her nails really werent up to par everyones polish peeled off the very next day only put one coat and those that didnt want color one of the guys was super rushed overall not a good experience wouldnt wont go back spent over $130 for two people

Because another nail salon in Charleston had double booked us and another group, I moved my appointments for nails before my wedding to Tip-2-Toes about a week out. They were incredibly accomodating, and we were even put upstairs with only our group for a majority of our appointment. The staff was kind and did a wonderful job! The prices were very reasonable.

I have had a lot of pedicures in a lot of different places, but Ive never walked out of a salon as completely satisfied as I was tonight. The folks there are friendly, professional, and helpful. I was stunned that the techniques they used never hurt for a second--they were completely gentle and knew exactly what they were doing. They have a vast array of color choices, and their massage chair worked like a dream (hooray!). (Lets face it, one of the main reasons I get pedicures is for those chairs, and Ive been to places where they didnt even work.) I will never get my pedicure anywhere but Tips 2 Toes Nails as long as I live in Charleston, and maybe even if I move someday! This place rocks!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! I usually go to Mr. Linh in Mt. Pleasant because he is the absolute best, but I live downtown and was in a hurry one evening so I decided to go to Tips 2 Toes. First of all the man rushed through my entire pedicure, it was splotchy and nail polish was all over my skin. I had a small blister on one of my toes and he completely ripped it off, and made it bleed. He also cut the side nail of my big toe way too much and I jumped in pain. I went back and had someone else redo it. A week later I had an ingrown infected toe nail on that big toe he cut way too much. I recently had to get it removed and it is the most painful experience of my life. A $30 pedicure turned into a $200 experience. Never going here again.

I have been going to this nail shop for years... and since I like my nails long this is the only place that can do them. I love this serivice pedicure here

First off... they didnt do the shape, or length that I wanted... they had someone basically play over my nails, my nails came out clumpy and thick I asked could i get someone that could really do nails, they filed them down and did them right.. but failed to give me the shape and length I wanted so I will most likely never come back to tips 2 toes

Absolutely one of the worst experiences. The nail tech that did my nails rushed through so quickly, cut me multiple times, didnt clean up my cuticles AT ALL, and left some of the sns powder residuals all around my nail beds. The techs around me seemed friendly, but mine was rude and impersonal. I have never in my entire life not left at least a 15% to any service, but I left her 0$ because it was so terrible. Will not being going back here ever.

I usually only go to this salon a year for the pedis done. Best experience Ive been had.Fabulous customer service. My staff told me to come on in and I was catered right away. GREATTTTT STAFFS! My pedis look natural and nice!10 scores for quality. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

SO BAD, DONT GOThey charged me over $50 dollars for a toe polish change and a gel polish change. Both ended up chipping after 3 days. 3 days is absurd. The place is not clean and they take advantage of the fact its the closest nail salon to the college.Really disappointing and never going back again nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Dont waste your time and money.The same thing happened to my friend. When I called to let them know that I will be coming in to get them redone, as it has only been 3 days, all i heard was laughing on the phone and they eventually hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional . I hope this place knows that a lot of people view this as the worst nail salon downtown Charleston

Nails were poorly polished. The acrylics chipped off within a week. The service was terrible!! Do not go to them at all.

Polishes are quite old and not a very large variety unless you like the frosted / sparkles OPI types.The guy that did my pedi was not at all friendly, and the result pretty scrappy looking. My mother in law had her nails done, and the polish was too old we think, couldnt seem to make it dry.Ive had many a pedi cure from a Vietnamese run nail bar like this of far higher quality.

Every time I go I get the best service- this time I got acrylic nails and they are still in perfect shape after 3 weeks! amazing!

Went here for the first time two days ago and had a horrible experience. I went in for a pedicure and a full acrylic set. When I told the owner I wanted to take off my old nails and get new ones she proceeded to rip them off instead of letting my nails soak and as a result ripped off the majority of all my nails. I started to cry because it hurt so bad and she just kept going anyway. When she finished several of my nail bids were bleeding. Needless to say I will never go back again. That was the worst nail experience of my life.

After making an appt I waited 20 minutes after my scheduled appt time and left. My husband waited 15 minutes before someone started his pedi and then over charged him and did a poor rushed job. Never going back!

This place is so sketchy. the steps leading upto it are a good representation of whats inside. gross, dark, lackluster nail salon. NOT A FULL SERVICE SALON. my manicure chipped within 24 hours...unprofessional environment...the manicurists were drinking wine out of water bottles...one free glass of wine with pedicures only...byob also...no manicure chairs...two floor salon seems like it used to be someones apartment...there is a dishwasher, full size fridge, and kitchen sink in the nail room upstairs....

Paid a lot for no reason, wasn’t worth the money

I made an appointment the morning of and when I got there, they were so busy that no one got to me for over 40 min. I sat waiting in a pedicure chair in steadily cooling water. Just unacceptable for having made an appointment. On top of the late service, the pedicure was rushed and not relaxing at all. All I wanted was a treat for my feet after several days of walking all over Charleston. Nope x 10000.

Its ok, expensive and didnt care for my nail shape

I had a rocky start and initially didn’t receive the service I expected. Once they realized I was unhappy, they did what needed to be done so that I was happy with the service provided

Got my nails and toes done Friday and woke up the next morning with chipped polish called to get a refund and was told to come into the store when I got there the woman who was supposed to issue my refund told them it would be 30mins before she could issue a refund that shouldn’t have taken more than 2mins to do waited and when she came to give me the refund was extremely rude
