We had been on the road six weeks with our 35 Class A with toad and needed an oil change. Every shop I called for the past two weeks were too busy for me. On a lark, I called Valvoline Instant Oil Change at Grants Pass, Oregon. To my surprise their bays were more than adequate for our big motor home and they took us right in. Did a great job at a fraction of the cost of the big truck-big rig places. Recommend to RVers needing an oil change on the road!

The wait to get in wasnt too long, but once I got in, they got the oil changed and checked the fluids and tires promptly and I was on my way in under 20 minutes.

In my honest opinion from my experience 2nd time and 2nd vehicle. They care more about your vehicle than the money. Didn’t push a bunch of products on me like their competitor. I live in California but work in Grants Pass and I recommend getting your vehicle serviced at this particular location. Never been to any other Valvoline locations but this one is 100% professional and 110% caring. Thanks GP team!!

I went in for oil, transmission, and coolant all at once - they were generous to offer rear differential at a great price as well. Honestly if you want a quick change at a reasonable price this is where youd want to go. Felt like they gave a darn.

This place made me feel so well taken care of. I’m a 26 year old female living on her own for the first time with zero knowledge about cars and i didn’t feel taken advantage of, i felt like they truly cared about my safety and the state of car.

Pretty good service. The gents their especially Cole, seem to be a tad stressed and in a sour mood and sometimes that runs off on the customers. They always make things right though.

Ok. They never gave me a detailed of my receipt. The service never checked my tires.

Absolutely stellar!! I lost fluids and broke down on a Sunday. After a brother came with tools. I was able to get going. But still needed fluids and a once over.The staff their helped me out. Made sure everything was cool 😎. Getting me all squared away. Even made sure I was safe in case I lost more fluids. (Thanks Sean) and the other crew members.Go see for yourself, they rock.

This place gets 10 stars from me. I took my wifes car in when our normal place was busy and they were spectacular. I brought my truck in today and it was even better than before. These guys are courteous, professional, fast, and the prices arent half bad either. I highly recommend them. Chase was great to work with both times as well.

Well as you drive in you first get yelled at.. That startled me big-time! No hello nothing. I found out they yell at you so you dont fall down into the hole and anyway he apologized his name is Kenneth it turned out i felt he did a pretty good job on my car. replaced items went fast and I really appreciate that professionalism after the yelling part which kind of got me a little upset and change my mood to scared & annoyed it did go better after I said hey do you know you kind of startled me & he apologized. I would recommend them i guess overall pretty good job on my car I felt they also replace my windshield wipers i hope they were honest. Well ok well see i have a long drive ahead of me to Cali

Unbelievable too slow. Employees with black masks looked spooky and untrustworthy. I waited for almost an hour for an oil change. Employees chatted with one driver and it wastes our time. I decided to leave the Valvoline slow service to go to other fast efficient oil change service. Valvoloine Instant Oil Change service sucks!

Me and my fiancé work full time and I’m a full time college student, so I haven’t been able to maintain our vehicles like I used to. I sent her in our car to get the oil changed because I just can’t afford the time to do it for her. Anyways I had to change the valve for the VVT today and noticed the oil is jet black. She had the oil “changed” about a week ago at this store. I just don’t understand why they charge her a premium for a synthetic oil change and not even do it, then up sell her on an air filter and transmission oil change?!?!

Called to get a quote and an appt...but it was FCFS..so I roll up and Im next in line. The technicians were pretty friendly and knowledgeable. They did upsell me a few things I could have done myself with a lil discount but I dont mind paying for convenience when a place is fast, clean, and friendly. I will definitely return as needed.

The attitude of the team members here is really terrific. After feeling a little unsure of the work performed by a different lube place I pulled in here to Valvoline and they still did a quick check and top-off of fluids - at no charge! Very impressed! I went by to have my AC checked since my usual oil change spot did not have this service. All of the staff were very nice and the place was quite clean. They hooked up my AC and even though the problem was not in their normal services told me exactly what was wrong for no charge. I will definitely be back to my new favorite oil change spot!

Just had my first ever oil change done on my new car, and let me tell you, these people are quick, and incredibly friendly. Not only did they change my oil, but they also checked my tire pressure and Ken pointed out how my wiper blades seemed pretty tore up. They take the time to ask you questions about everything to include the fact that I really needed a rear differential oil change, not always do we have money to compensate for a vehicles troubles but when you do its nice to get that vehicle fixed before it has major issues. Provided that my experience with a little bit longer than usual, no need for all the apologies, when you have to get something fixed and youre paying for it you might as well just wait it out for 10 more minutes. I like these guys and their great service, I will be back thank you

Just went to my get oil changed, ended up having to get my sepintine belt replaced and transmission fluid. Tim (an employee there) was wonderful, he explained all what needed to be done and made the process so easy and efficient! The whole crew is a wonderful team and gets the job done!

WORST OIL CHANGE EVER!!!!!!! I drive a diesel, and came in for a synthetic oil change, and to top of my DEF. Long story short, they charged me for 2 units of DEF @24.99 a piece, and I could see, they barely put in one unit. On top of that, I dont believe they actually changed my oil. It was black as black after they, changed it. I called him out on the DEF fluid, and told him I watched him put not even half of a unit in. I got out of my truck, and stood there and watched him pour the rest of the first unit in, and then it took ANOTHER full unit, of which they already tried to charge me for. Total cons. You could have heard a pin drop when it took that entire 2nd unit. Total liar. To make matters worse.. I call in and ask to speak to the Regional manager, on 10/22/18. Kayla answers, she says his name is Cody and tries to call him. No answer. She said she will give Cody the message. He never calls me. I call back on 11/2/18, Melissa answers. I tell her the story. She reaches out to Cody again, leaving another message to have him call me. He doesnt call me back a 2nd time. I call in, AGAIN, for the 3rd time on 11/30/18, again, Melissa answers. I ask her, Who in this business even cares that you have an unhappy, upset customer? She apologizes and says she will email the marketing manager, and maybe he will call me back. Nope. NEVER heard Jack sh*t back from anyone. The worst oil change ever, along with horrid customer service on top of it. I would steer clear from these con artists especially when the owner/regional manager doesnt care whatsoever about his customers!!!!!

Great for a quick oil change and for the fact they have cameras showing you under the car, but I wish the guys would just stop trying to diagnose my car and just give me my oil change

What a joke. As expensive as taking it to the dealership, but they tried to upsell me a bunch of stuff I dont need and couldnt even reset the oil change notification on the car.

Fast friendly service. AC recharges available, can change belts on most vehicles as well. Typical upselling throughout, but a nonpressure environment. Decent prices for most services, mostly go for the speed and efficiency though. If they notice something off that they cant service they let you know too, which is nice.

Great dudes, they really help out and want to make you happy. They value their customers, even first timers. They wont mess around. Their only bad review here appears to be from someone who showed up when they werent open. 1 star for that?

I sat there and watched 3 cars get their oil changed on the other side while I waited for over 30 minutes behind a truck that was already getting changed when I pulled in. I finally got mad and left. The worst part was that before they pulled the third car in an employee pointed out to another that I had been sitting there a while and maybe they should have me move over. He shrugged her off and just motioned the next car in. That pushed me over. Nobody was communicating with me about why the car in front of me was taking so long. Nobody talked to me at all.
