Came here for birthday pedicure. Git the #3 Parafin pedicure. I will never go back to regular pedicures! We received a glass of wine plus the service was awesome!

10/10 recommend! Quynh did a fantastic job- the best dip manicure with tips I have ever gotten. Her attention to detail was so precise! My nails look fantastic and I will be coming back regularly now😊

After seeing reviews from the other nail salons, I took my wife here. They let me sit beside her in the massage chair while she got her pedi/mani. I liked it, wasnt packed laid back and they did a great job and she is very happy. Before and after pics attached.

I found this place open on a Sunday and went into get my nails done for my pinning ceremony for nursing school thats coming up. It was my mom who is 61s only day off to go and so we went together for a mom daughter day, which apparently many moms and daughters decided to do the same thing. Everyone in the shop was talking to each other, and they were busy. But they made the play so fun everyone was in a great mood! We had the best service and the nicest people taking care of us Quinn and her husband good job. Her husband was sweet as can be to my mom making jokes the entire time with us. They really made our visit fun and memorable! We will definitely be coming back, very happy customers! And no that wasnt the mimosa talking 😁😍😊

My favorite thing about this place is the people! Q, Quinn and the rest of the staff of some of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve ever met. They always make me feel welcome and they know me by name. The salon is clean and my nails and toes always look amazing. I won’t go anywhere else in Charleston.

I see a couple bad reviews and just wanted to say a few things. I have not been to Royal Nails & Spa in about 3 years. Every time i went i always had a great experience, especially with Q. She is a wonderful nail tech and very nice and would always spark up conversation. I was never overcharged and everything always came out great. Since i’ve moved i haven’t trusted another nail salon and started doing them myself! I wish your nail salon the best!

Hands down the best nail place in West Ashley. I have tried many other nail salons here and nothing compares to Royal Nails. Sure it is not the nicest looking nail salons on the inside, but the quality of their work is amazing. Q and Quinn are great, and if you get to experience the funny younger man, than you get a show also!

I usually dont give 5 stars but I received excellent customer service and my gel mani is bomb!

Charged $25 for fill-in, which is fine, but then charged an extra $5 to remove polish, then when the guy did them, cut 2 different fingers, because of how far down he took the gel, while filling with the drill. Still charged me full price and the one still hurts and it was done Sunday. My poor finger looks terrible and he didnt do a very good job. He put everything away and forgot to do 3 fingers, had to show him that he wasnt done. NEVER going back there!!!!! Pictured is three one thats still hurting.

My go to nail salon. They do a great job, are clean and Im so pleased with how my nails have been doing that I actually make appointments so that I can sit with my favorite tech Lee. Everyone is really nice and I always have a good experience.

BEST nail salon experience ever. I’ve been getting dip powder for years, all over the world. I went down the street to another salon and had a terrible experience. The nail tech at the other salon soaked off my polish and then WHILE I WAS SOAKING, told me the dip mani would be $95! I asked to speak to a manager and the nail tech told me she couldn’t work with me because I was too difficult. I wanted dipped nude nails with some gold flake - no design, no painting, little effort and $95?! I left and went to Royal nails. Quinn gave me the most excellent dip manicure and I tipped her $50 for the holidays!!! Go to Royal. Excellent manicure and customer service.

I have been on the hunt for over a year since I moved here to charleston for a good go to spot for my nails and it had gotten to the point that I just didnt have them done for 5 months! My word... yuck I know.I have been wanting the ombré French tip look and couldnt find anyone who could do and was starting to give up when I decided on a whim to give this place a shot.They werent busy at all when she said it was going to be a 20 minute wait which I was willing to wait but decided to go with a pedi as well. She was gentle when she should have been and did a great job. I wasnt super super impressed with the pedi and I even got the higher end option but I think Ill stick with the basic.My nails turned out PERFECT! It was scary to put full trust into a new nail salon but no one made a fuss when I showed them my picture and they really couldnt have been better. I felt like she truly cared about her job and the job they did on their service. Plus they were all full of compliments so that of course didnt hurt.So happy. Ill be back for sure!

I love my nails today was my first time there. I went and had a full set done with ombre gel color, the lady that took care of me was so sweet and kind she actually held a conversation with you and made you feel like a human and not just someone whos paying. I will definitely be back and I will tell everyone to go here. And she actually listen to how I liked my nails. A+++++

My first experience here and I am impressed! Ive been searching for a nail salon and Royal Nails & Spa will be my go to from now on! The atmosphere, the staff, its so welcoming and inviting! The young guy that did my nails (hate that I didnt get his name) wil be my nail tech from now on. He does such a fine job. Hes careful and very detailed. I will be going back.

I had a beautiful experience at Royal nails and spa. I called to inquire about some services and from the very moment the person answered the phone, he was incredibly polite, attentive, in extremely knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed to get off the phone, nor did he pressure me to come in. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately. I was asked what service I want in and directed to a seat. The young lady that completed my service was polite, extremely meticulous, and professional. She paid very close attention to my nails and explained what was being done and why. She often asked me if she was being gentle enough or if there was anything but I was uncomfortable with. She evening asked for my approval during every step of the process. I loved the attention that she paid to details in every single step. I was very pleased with them from the initial phone call til the moment I walked or the door.

I stopped by for a pedicure and manicure but due to the storm and their internet still being down, the fine folks here could only accept cash. They were very apologetic! Good thing I had $27 cash in my wallet so I treated myself to one of the best manicures I’ve ever gotten.Thank you to the Royal Nails & Spa family for still being open and patient even after the storm...so people like me could relax a bit!

The people at Royal Nails and Spa are awesome. My daughter wanted to have a special celebration the day before her wedding. The folks here were so accommodating, first we had to cancel because some of the girls were weather delayed. Then we were 30 minutes late for our new appointment. All the ladies and owner were so kind and took their time to make it a very fun and enjoyable time, they could have easily rushed us since we were late. And the cleanliness of the salon was outstanding! I do not believe I have ever seen such detail to make getting a pedicure and manicure so sanitary. They all went above and beyond to make the day a great experience! Thank You Royal Nails and Salon for all you did, when we get to Charleston again we certainly visit you because of your wonderful service.

My 84 year old mother and I enjoyed our manicure/pedicure today. It was my moms first time getting a pedicure. She loved the special care received from the owners daughter. She did a great job on French manicure. Mom loved it! The husband/wife took special care with my pedicure/manicure. Its a family own business that know how to treat people with care. I decided to try them because of the ratings from this site. There were more positive than negative comments. When Im in town again visiting mom and Nails need to be done, this is our place.🙂

One of the best places I have been to for a manicure and pedicure! It was so quiet and calm. They really spend their time on you! Not only that, but everything is so clean and maintained which is so important. My nails look wonderful and the prices were good. I definitely will be a regular now!

Every time I go somewhere else to get my nails done, Im disappointed !! I will only go to Royal Nails from now on. I love this nail salon, so clean and relaxing. John, is so attentive and nice when you walk in. He always does the shape of my nails perfectly. I have never felt rushed or hurried out the door like some other shops I have been to. Ive never been to any of the other techs so I cant speak on the way they work. All the techs seem to please the clients they work on from what I could tell. Usually they have smooth jazz music playing and always offer something to drink...water, wine, and hot green tea. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday mid day when its not so busy. This place is getting really popular.

Poor customer service by Q, the so called manager. My first time trying the S&S set was there and within a day, a nail chipped! I traveled an hour to get a repair, only to be told be Q that I had to wait an hour for this simple repair! Needless to say, I was NOT a happycamper! She didn’t even apologize for this! I wasted time and $$$ at this place! Nails didn’t even last a whole 2 weeks!

I loved this place. This is one of the best nails salons Ive ever been to. The sanitary of this place was something that you didnt expect. Everything were thrown out right after using. The staffs were extremely friendly and they really took their time doing your nails.I love the designs of the nails and the price was reasonable. Theres no reason for me not to come back here. I am so happy to have come across a nail salon in Charleston that does an amazing and absolutely flawless job. I’ve been twice thus far - once for my pedicure and the second time for my full set. Pedicure was great for the price and super relaxing. For my nails, I usually get a full set with shellac polish. I was shocked to know that it was only $55. I’ve paid much less for nail jobs that weren’t even close to as good as this place! I also have not had to wait very long to be serviced! I’ll be back for my pedicure in a week and a fill the following!

I was visiting Charleston for the week and called right when they opened on New Years day. I did tons of research and loved the fact that they were very sanitary with disposable liners and tools. I was welcomed immediately and sat down for my pedicure. The man who worked on my feet was so sweet and accommodating. He offered me the different beverages and even let my boyfriend sit in the chair next to me (of course he put the massage chair to use) as well as offered him a drink. The color and details on my gel manicure + pedicure is impeccable and he really took his time! Especially with the massage. I told my boyfriend if we ever visited again or moved to Charleston, that would be the place I would return to, even if I had to drive! So worth it.

I came here to get my nails done for Christmas party and I left the place with fabulous looking nails. This was far from my expectation. The young lady Q was extremely helpful as she helped me pick out the colors and designs.Another plus for this place was the sanitation and everything that they used for you were thrown out right after. The staffs were very friendly and you really relaxed here while someone took care of your nails. The prices were very reasonable and Ill definitely come back here with friends!!!

I wanted a specific person to do my nails so I approached and asked if he could. He said yes and told me to sign in. I did so at the front desk with a female employee. Returned in 20 min, got my nails done but was told they are refusing me of further services bc I was rude. I asked how was I rude and was told I’m not supposed to walk straight in a request services from a particular person I should speak with management first. Well how the hell would I know that if rules and policies aren’t posted and the so called manager has no name badge to identify herself and her title. I’ve been getting my nails done for 20 years and never been denied services for something so ridiculous. I will tell everyone I know to never come here. This Salon is the most professional, sanitized, and friendly location that Ive seen in the entire city. The staff are genuinely nice and catering to the needs of the customers. The most impressive thing is how organized and clean every inch of the salon is. I would literally sleep there. they sanitize everything. definitely worth every dime. oh, and they are very affordable!

So friendly and accommodating from the second I got out of my car. They opened the door for me, offered me something to drink, helped me pick the color I was looking for, and instantly started my pedicure. They have a very clean space and comfortable foot baths/chairs. I went here because of the other highly rated reviews and am so glad I did.

If you’re a walk in be prepared to wait. If you make an appointment a couple of hours in advance they’ll get you right in. The staff is very nice and professional. The service is consistent and you’re guaranteed to get what you want. I’m never going anywhere else.

We all know the feeling of going somewhere else because there are no openings where you normally go and you just need the perfect nails or polish . Well that happened to me and I got black balled by Royal nails they close at 7pm I arrived a 6:45 pm and the advised that they could not assist wil a pedicure but Que the owner helped with a Polish change at this time I was upset of the service I received by the prior nail company and I just wanted it done right well Que decided because I was upset with the other nail company that I had an attitude with her and she banded me . Because I grunted .its so sad to see that nail Companies that come a dime a dozen refuses work when we all know word of mouth is w all you need so. Apologize that your not trained in customer service after I have been a customer dororw than a year and I spend 85.0)0.a trip . I often come to this salon for my eyebrows and a manicure every so often. They do an amazing job here. The staff is very friendly and professional. I went to another salon and that salon ruined my nails. I came to Royal after and they removed the other salons mistake. They gave me exactly what I wanted. I would always come to this place only for now on. Theyre great people.

Fantastic place! Very welcoming and even with a full house, they make everyone feel important. They also have men and women prices for pedicures on the price list, which made me husband feel welcome. I read all the reviews and decided to give them a try. This is the first time I have been completely satisfied with my nails! The lady that did them took her time and worked her magic. She made a nail where there wasnt a nail so that I didnt have to cut my real nail!!! Whattttt????!!!! I am totally amazed. It was so clean and they offer beverages. Definitely found my new spot!!! I went in for a basic pedicure with gel polish and SNS dip. The pedicure lasted 10 seconds and my cuticles were practically the same once completed. It was a waste of my time and money as I will go somewhere else for another pedicure and SNS...poor service and would not recommend to a child!

Nails always look fabulous and gel manicure lasts sooo long with no chips in color. Work in health care, wash my hands constantly, color always looks amazing for weeks. Live at least 45 minutes away from here and will drive every time to get my nails done. Love their service, very friendly people.

My husband and I visited Royal Nails & Spa on Sunday for a walk-in. I got a gel manicure that Im still very happy with. My husband got a much needed mani and pedi and he told me it was incredibly relaxing - he said he didnt even realize how much hed needed it. The facilities were very clean and the service was wonderful. We were in and out in time for an appointment we had an hour later - they were very accommodating. The prices were also reasonable. Well definitely be back!

The best pedicure Ive had in probably a dozen nail salons in the greater Charleston area (Mt. P, downtown, West Ashley, North Charleston and Hanahan) I try new salons all of the times while Im out running errands.Ive received a pedicure at Royal nails twice and both times it was a full 45 minute long spa like experience. I didnt feel rushed, received a long foot and calf massage along with a bottle of water. This is also one of the cleanest nail salons Ive been in, a drop of water was wiped up immediately.

My mom, sister and I went for a manicure and pedicure. We called about 30 minutes prior to our arrival and they set us up with an appointment, so no wait! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by someone with a smiling face who asked us to pick out our color and sit down in the chairs. All three nail technicians were super polite, friendly, and conversational and did a great job on all of our mani/pedis! Im a cuticle-biter and she performed some sort of magic and made them look neat and clean without causing me pain/blood loss (which usually happens)! Awesome customer service, attention to detail, and all three of us finished at the same time - so no skimping on the massage by one of the techs! Super clean facility - they even use the liners for the foot-soak tubs, which we personally appreciate!Great place- sad we are from out of town! Highly recommended!

Ive been to some salons where techs rush if people are waiting and make you feel like you are getting less than what you want. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable.

I cant even allow myself to give my experience here any stars! I was the very first person to walk into their door when they opened. I expressed that I want a full set with gel polish almond shaped nails. What I got where short stubby nails that was just above my natural nail which is NOT very long at all! I told the guy that thats not what I wanted and he got an attitude with me and sent me to someone else. I explain to the new guy what I wanted longer almond shaped nails, he said okay. I asked to have the nails removed and redone but he assure me that he could add acrylic to the nail to make it longer and that I wouldnt have to worry about it breaking off. When he was done the nails were a little longer but it was still very thick on the tip and had acrylic stuck all under my nails! When he was done he then says to me OKAY YOU CAN GO! Needless to say for $45 and two technicians later I WAS VERY UNHAPPY!

My wife and I pampered each other with a pedicure and manicure today. We had a most wonderful and relaxing experience. We cant wait to visit again.

Phoned ahead at 12:32 and they were busy so set me an appointment @3:15. Got here at 3:15 was told to go to a chair at 3:25 still sitting in the chair waiting (no one turn the water on and its getting cold) As of now 3:40 Im still sitting. Aww! This will be my last time cause when I came before I did not go threw this. Feeling need to leave!

Omg omg omg this is the BEST nail salon I’ve EVER been to. The people are down to earth and hospitable. I was greeted with a warm welcome at the door and given an estimate of how long it would take to start on my nails. One nail technician was sweet enough to get up and meet me herself. Oh did I mention I came in 30 minutes before they were closing? My nail tech Quynh (sorry sweetheart if I butchered that) “Quinn” spent a full hour perfecting my nails. That’s a full hour AFTER theyve already closed. She was extremely meticulous and nice as she spoke to me while buffing my nails to the perfect length and shape. Definitely going to be my go-to nail salon from here on out. I got my first gel extension nail full set and I’m hooked so long as I go to Royal Nails! Thanks so much!!-Ryenne ❤️

Omg what a WONDERFUL experience! The young lady who did my pedicure did an outstanding job! It was so relaxing and she scrubbed and massaged my feet and legs for at least 30 mins! I left feeling like butter! :) There was not excessive chatter and the place is spotless! I will definitely be back!

First time and last time. Very cold and quick pedicure followed by an even quicker full set application. Spent $72, turned around about 4 days later and had to get an entire new full set, somewhere else. Very disappointed.

I got just the basic pedicure and it was fantastic. I cant imagine how awesome the 2 higher level ones are! My guy took his time and was just extremely thorough. Its the best pedicure Ive gotten in years. They didnt try to upsell me anything which made the experience that much better. My only complaint is that it took about an hour or so, but is that really a complaint! LOL

I dont like my nails. I gave the Tech a picture and she did not execute it! My nails were not filed properly and my hands came out very different! I ask for squared nails and she made them round. I wish I could post a picture but its not giving me the option.

Enjoyed myself immensely! Just wanted a basic pedicure and manicure but ended up with the SNS powder manicure (so many colors!!) and getting my eyebrows tamed lol.My mistake was not looking at the price list cause I ended up spending $90 (😥😪). But got a coupon on my receipt to use for next time... awesome. And to get a complimentary wine, mimosa, beer, or champagne is a surprise. Will visit again

The staff was rather friendly, but not sure if theyre experienced enough for acrylic nails. When I walked into the door I was greeted fast and was given a seat. The young man started doing my nails and put the fake nails on without even measuring them first ! One was too big and he just pulled it off ! A lady came in behind me and they had me go to another gentleman and had the guy who started finish with the lady. My only issue with that is, he rushed to measure out my nails ! They were uneven, first was my mistake because he first showed me a length and I said it was good but it was to short but that was on the first nail ! He took that one off and continued to cut the rest. Some seemed as if they were cut diagonally ! I wanted a round shaped nail. The other gentlemen who finished, did NOT file my fake nail down to my real nail and just put a very heavy coat of acrylic over it. It was ridiculous. I was trying to be kind and not mention it but I couldnt help it ! Not for 35$ when I can get a better full set for 25$ ! After he does this and tells me to wash my hands, I discover a hair under my acrylic. I mention it to him, he does attempt to file it down, when he realizes that its too deep and he would have to take the acrylic off.. he goes itll be under the nail polish, nobody will see it. I am getting my nails done for me not for anybody else, I know its there and thatll bother me. After this dispute, I was not going to pay the total price, I gave him 20$ and dashed for the door ! I unfortunately just decided to paint my own nails which I did a horrible job. The young lady who does pedicures looks like she does an amazing job. I wouldnt recommend anyone here for acrylic but everything else, absolutely. Customer Service is excellent as well.

I have been to this place before and they messed up my eyebrows really bad. Well today I am trying to find a place to give me an eyebrow wax and decide to give them another chance. Well they refused me service and the staff was not very nice. Lets say I wont be back and really hope yall dont either.

The past two times Ive been here, my experience has been great, but when I went there yesterday to get my regular service, my service was horrible. First, the nail tech that worked on me wasnt the nail tech that always does my nails. So I gave him a shot but shouldnt have. He wasnt friendly nor sociable. When he was filing the old SNS polish off, he was hurting me by being too rough on my cuticles. I had to tell him that it hurt. He did the other fingers and asked me is this better? I told him yes. I didnt make a big deal about it, but when he started using the machine to buff my nails, on my middle left finger, he got too close to the meat part of my finger and cut me. I started bleeding and when I had to tell him that he just cut me, he said poor baby and kept on buffing on that area. I had to ask him for a bandaid and to get up and wash my finger because I didnt know what germs was from another client in that bufffing piece. At the end of my service, he asked for payment and I asked him for a discount and he gave me $5 off. Smh. I paid with no tip and he seemed upset. I dont recommend this salon anymore.
