It’s hard to find a nail tech who does great quality nails. I have been going here for a while now and have gotten what I’ve asked for every time. Ty does my nails every visit and she always makes them perfect. Her specialty isn’t the fancy nails you see on Pinterest with designs and gemstones. But if you want your nails to be the shape you ask for, the same length and to last longer than usual, ask for her. I am always consistently happy when I leave there.

I went in to get my nails done for my wedding. I showed one picture idea and was told that she doesn’t do designs, okay no problem. We came up with a different look - a pink color with sparkle over top. When I went to check out I was charged an additional $20 for a design. I have been here many times before and this is NOT the only time they have added on a hefty fee out of no where. She also changed the add-on design fee from $12 to $20. Still confused on how I got charged for a design when the very first thing she said to me was that she does not do designs.Edit to add picture of my $20 “design”

Overall decent service. But I got a dip powder set done last Sunday and they started cracking Tuesday. Its now Monday and every one of them is chipped or cracked. Never had this problem before so its a little upsetting

The atmosphere was nice but the guy that did my nails didnt really listen or pay attention to detail. He was very rough with my fingers, nails are crooked and there is polish around and under my nail. Very dissatisfied.

I’ve been going to Luxia Nails for over a year now and I’ve never been more impressed. I went to three salons, being new to the area, before I came here and I will never go anywhere else. They do an exceptional job. I like my nails sleek and pay attention to detail, well so do they. Luxia Nails always exceeds my expectations. Amy and Henry are great as well as the rest of the staff. They are so friendly and accommodating! The salon is always very clean and the decor is modern, you feel good just being there. There is a flower wall in the back for a photo prop, who doesn’t love that?! 10/10 recommend!

I am never one to write a bad review. I got sns nails done here and within a week, they were falling off. I went back in to get them redone, they charged me again, half price, but no one told me changing the color would mean I had to pay to replace their mistake. Now, 5 days later after they repainted, it is coming off again. I do work with animals but I have had sns nails before and it was NEVER a problem. I simply went there to ask for a refund for spending about $80 for poor quality and I was told I could not get a refund. I work 2 jobs so it did not allow me to come back until my only day off. This is ridiculous and I will not be going back, nor referring customers here.

I walked in today for a gel mani and it was a wonderful experience. Annie made sure that my manicure was perfect and even fixed a nail that SHE was not happy with, twice. I dont know of many places that would do that. They are one of the cleanest places around and I would not bring my business elsewhere! Thank you for a relaxing experience!

What isn’t to love about this place? Annie and her team are the best. Annie, Ty, Kim, and Lyn (there are two other ladies and a man as well. I just don’t know their names) are the best. This is the ONLY place I’ll go for my nails and toes! I drive an hour away from where I live just to come here. The service is always top notch. They are very sanitary. The atmosphere is amazing. I come every two weeks to see my girls!

I have only been in Charleston for 4 months and have yet to find a nail salon that provides excellent service and experience... today was the day!!! I went to Lucia and had Kevin as my nail tech. He was courteous, professionalAnd efficient. He introduced me to Dip powder versus acrylic. Totally am loving my nails!! He took his time and did not rush. He took the time to get to know me as a consumer and a person. Truly a blessing being paired with him! His wife, Vivian did my eyebrow waxing... SIMPLY WONDERFUL! I will be back to get a pedi and to explore eyebrow tinting! Will definitely be back. Thank you guys!

This place is amazing! So clean and the staff was so nice and professional. I wish I got the name of the woman who did my acrylic nails - THE BEST! She took her time and double/triple checked to make sure all my nails were the same length and smooth. I wear contact lenses and for obvious reasons I need my nails shorter and she made sure I was comfortable with the length. I will DEFINITELY be coming here again and recommending it to everyone!

I went to Aysia to get the paraffin pedicure. Hands down, shes the best! She was very detailed and took pride in her craft. This establishment is very clean, and cute. The prices are average also. I found this place by accident and now its my favorite nail salon. The service is excellent the staff is kind, and friendly. After having a nail infection from a different salon I was so pleased to have only fresh packs of tools opened in front of me to use for my services! Love this place!

Love it! I get the absolute best pedicures here and its so close to work that I can swing by before I head home! The staff are very friendly and the salon is very clean. I try to make appointments since I know they can get hectic (especially on Friday afternoons), but even when walking in, I havent had to wait more than a few minutes! They have a giant gel selection and an awesome jelly pedicure. Check them out!

I never write reviews on places, but i was so turned off by my experience here. I havent gotten my nails done in a while so I made an appointment for a pedicure and gel polish on my hands. I had to go after work so my appointment was for 545. I got there 20 minutes early and from the moment I walked in the door i felt extremely uncomfortable. The guy doing my nails was rushing so much. I could not even relax because of how rushed I felt from him moving so quickly. In total my nails and toes took 45 minutes. Thats including a manicure that I continuously said I didnt want. I only wanted gel polish change but of course they did the full manicure and i got charged 20 $ on top of the 15$ for gel color, which is fine if that is what I wanted. On top of that I have blisters on the side of my heel from how hard and fast he was scrubbing. I was looking forward to getting my nails done and I left there super disappointed. I would not recommend them, especially if you have work and have to go after 5.

One of the most enjoyable experiences I had on a girls trip to Charleston recently. The staff were all so nice and made us feel so pampered. They did a wonderful job and we felt like we got to know them. It was a true spa experience!

I thought my experience here would be nice based off of the greeting when I initially came in. Everyone was pleasant. This slowly turned into a very annoying mail visit. The two nail techs were complaining about the questions I had and made me feel like I was being too needy. I will not be returning to this place and I advise everyone else to stay away. Im not sure if this was because I was a younger customer but I am very dissatisfied with the atmosphere of this place. The nails were decent but I have seen been and received much better service.

It was fast, but the overall experience wasnt great. We did it as a bridal group and the gel nails were rather see through instead of the blush we wanted and it felt rushed.

When I came in I wasnt greeted and I had to get someone to come help me. I sat and waited for 20 minutes to be seen. Once I finally sat down the woman who did my toe nails was more concerned about finishing up with me as fast as she could so she could get on to the next customer. My whole pedicure lasted less than five minutes. When I got up from my chair I had nail polish all over my toes, and I had a black smudge on my big toe. She never said a word to me, and when she finished she just took my purse and brought it out to the drying station. I took that to mean I was supposed to follow her out there, which I wouldnt have known because she didnt say a word to me. Not a hello or thank you or anything. I felt like she didnt want to deal with me so she got rid of me as fast as she could. Last time I was there I had the same experience. I will not return.

I used to go to this nail shop when they were in the mall but I stopped after they moved out the mall try a couple other places didnt really find other place I like. Went back there the week of Mothers Day to get a fill-in and a pedicure this older lady did my nails and feet.It was about a hour before closing she did an awesome job she didnt rush she took her time and its about three weeks later and my nails still look awesome I think I am back to stay.

Went here to get my nails done for a dance, I got a dip. Nails look fantastic! However, the man doing my nails CUT MY SKIN! SEVERAL TIMES! continuing to put chemicals on my BLEEDING SKIN! I have never had pain in my life getting my nails done and I tend to have a low pain tolerance but this was completely different! I asked him to remove some powder and instead of maybe getting some nail polish remover or something he CUT THE SKIN AROUND MY NAILS WITH THE CUITICLE CUTTER?? I’m baffled.

This was the first time and more than likely the last time I will go there... Firstly I never had my nails and feet done at the same time and I didnt know how to enjoy or focus on what was happening. Deep inside I didnt know if I wanted to laugh or leave. Didnt know if they was rushing to get the job done or multi-tasking .. Had to ask the man to clean under my nails when he know good and well that should be done the young lady didnt show any regards and care for missing up my eyebrows.. Quality and service, 5 stars. The staff here is meticulous about their craft. And extremely friendly.Price, 1 star. I asked for a $20 fill-in. And my bill was $47. First, they said my acrylics were peeling and unneeded a full set. $30, instead of $20. Then he charged me to remove the acrylics that I didnt even want done. $7. The website said a polish change was $8. They charged $10 for my 4-year-old.Beautiful work. But price transparency would be appreciated.The service I received was worth $30. My daughters was worth about $4.I feel like I was scammed.

Yuck. Did my research because Im looking for a new nail salon. Showed up before opening as a walk-in. Evidently they open at 9:00 instead of 9:30. I had another appointment at 11:00, so I specifically asked if they had time for a walk-in. I was assured it would be no problem, so I chose a polish and was shown to a chair. Someone brought a liner for the tub, a bottle of water and suggested that I make an appointment next time. I was shocked, but sat for another minute thinking someone would start the water. Then I got up and left. Wont be back, and have nothing but awful things since then. Other friends had received gift certificates there and re-gifted them rather than go there. Wish they had reviewed them.

Get my eyebrows done every two weeks from here. So quick and efficient! Very personable

Do not try this salon! Was given a price for a pedicure and at checkout it changed. Also went in for a gel fill-in and was quoted $35.00 but charged more. I strongly recommend that if you go to this nail salon use a tape recorder abd put the cops on speed dial because they will rob you. Tom was who did my nails. I was at this salon last year and these are not the same people.

I was going to get a pedicure here. The lady told me over the phone an appointment wouldnt be necessary. I walk in, and the place is packed, everyone is coming in with appointments, and Im expected to wait at least 30 minutes. Plus the girls that greeted me were incredibly rude, like it was a burden to talk to me at all. So I left. Wouldnt recommend anyone go there to be treated like that

Really sad how a place that I was at first so excited about has turned in to a place that rushes you in and out like cattle. I went with my daughter for a pedicure. I received the shortest pedicure of my life. I was in the chair for right under 10 minutes! There was polish in places on my toes where polish should not be! I had been here several times before but I think they have gotten too busy for there own good. The service and quality is gone! I wont return.

This is a good place to get your nails done as long as you want to be overcharged. I use to go there all of the time when they first opened, but now that a lot of people know about them, they JACKED up their prices. If you go, please pay attention to the prices because they will try to give you unnecessary services.

My niece asked to have all 4 of us do pedis at the same time when she called. He said yes no problem. We show up on time and theres only 3 chairs in each room. He lied!Each of us paid for the same pedi but didnt receive the same pedi. Shorter massage time. No special lotion. They were out of champagne for mimosas that come w pedi. Why couldnt they just go to the store?We will never go back. Very shady people!

Just left this place and will never go back. Trying to figure why they place the white people on one side when doing pedi and blacks on one side. They act like they are on a timer and speed through everything. And clearly don’t know the prices to anything. My girlfriend got gel polish and was told it was $15 and we paid $25. I’ll stick to where I been going. AND THEY ARE RUDE.

Went n got a full set...it was terrible I paid extra for my coffin look...never looked like it got my filling done else where n one of my nails popped (from not being completely glued down from initial full set) went back to them to fix it...they acted like they didnt want to n while i was getting it fixed the guy seemed agitated as hell...handling my hand like he had an attitude...fixed my nail in 10 mins n its crooked as hell n still lifting ...ive supported these ppl since they were in magic nails in the mall they will NEVER get my service again!

Stopped in there in my lunch for a mani / pedi. The guy kept pushing the powder. I explained to him I wasn’t sure. He started off with my pedi/ he was more interes in rubbing my feet then actually giving me a pedi. Don’t get me wrong I want my feet rubbed but I want my toe nails cut etc. he kept pushing the powder. I changed my mind a couple time on the mani part and he got upset quick. When I told him what I wanted he said I never told him. He charged me 45 for a classic pedi. He said he couldn’t ge the polish off of my toes by he didn’t even try. Then when I showed him a picture thats on their website he wanted to charge me even more to paint each nail a different color. And he said something snotty about about the picture. When he was doing my pedi I told him he hurt me several times when he was pulling on my cuticles. Worst experience EVER! Wouldn’t recommend, WOULDNT GO BACK. Total rip off. He told me 68 for fake nails a different color on each nail. 🤦‍♀️

I’ve been here before and had a decent experience. This time was awful. I was here with a friend and her pedicure took almost two hours and was still smudged and mine took 15 minutes and was rushed and poorly done. That kind of inconsistency for the same service makes no sense. My technician was clearly hoping to hurry up so she could leave— scraped my skin with emery board, didn’t remove callouses and didn’t rub in lotion or give me any massage. She pulled my pants leg down over wet lotion and hurried me out of the room when she finished. Other tech cut my friend and didn’t have any bandaids or Neosporin. Very disappointed. Won’t return.

Did not get what I asked for.. paid $73 for paint.. asked for gel.. Ill go to the one on san rittenburg next time.

I’ve been here before and enjoyed my experience, however after this visit i will never return to this establishment. Trying to treat myself to an early birthday present i came in after work, an hour and a half before they closed. I understand it was towards the end of their day but I was unnecessarily rushed through my experience. The woman who did my manicure/pedicure was rude, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and anxious the entire time. Instead of leaving relaxed and ready to celebrate my birthday, i spent the entire drive home crying. When i did get home i had to spend 20 minutes fixing all of the gel polish she left sticking to my skin and reshape all of my nails. If she would have given me a chance to look at my nails as she was doing them i would have had the opportunity to ask her to fix them. By the time she was done i wanted nothing more than to get out of there before i started crying.

Luxia Nails Spa has been catering to my nails for 15 years now and they never disappoint. I continue to look forward to the high quality service that I receive from them every time.

After he was done butchering my nails it was time to pay...Ive never paid so much for a full set and pedicure in my life!!! Way too expensive for the terrible job he did.
