I have never had more beautiful nails or better treatment! Brian did an amazing ombre pink and white nail for me and I am in love. He shaped my nails perfectly and even added some holographic detailing. I could not be happier! Since I go to school in Charleston Aqua will be my new nail place:) go if in town!

Walked in for a massage and pedicure. The massage was awesome and my daughter got an acrylic set manicure. Prices are reasonable. I would use them again.

Our experience was awesome. My husband and I had a couples massage with Kayla and Benji. Best massages we ever had!Was skeptical at first about this day spa since no reviews were on the massages. Both therapists were professional and facility was very nice and clean. Also a very good price for an excellent service.

Some pros and cons. The place is not very nice (flies all around). But they did offer wine and charge $50 for a dip manicure as if it was very high end. Confusing. They had me get my previous dip off my soaking my hands in a bowl of acetone! I did not enjoy this method!However: I told my tech what color I needed for a wedding and he picked out the most beautiful sheer sparkly pink for me. My nails came out so perfect and lasted without issue for a month. So all in all I might go back if I could afford it.

Walked in to get my lip waxed and they got me back within 1 minute of walking in. The person that did it did a really good job and my face wasn’t red and scolding hot when I left. Definitely recommend! Will have to go back to get my nails done.

I am in Charleston visiting for the weekend, I decided to pop in for a pedicure. They got me right into a chair and Sophia gave me the most relaxing pedicure I’ve ever had. I wish I could have access to this salon all the time! Thanks for adding a bit of relaxation to my weekend!

Im a college student at College of Charleston so coming to this nail salon is very convenient for me. My experiences here are always amazing. Im always treated so nicely! The manger is AMAZING and gives the BEST eyebrow waxes. Its also a great place to get manicures and pedicures. They always take their time and make sure youre a leaving a happy customer. If you are ever in the downtown area looking for somewhere to get pampered I definitely recommend coming here!

I am in Charleston for work. I live in Michigan and I have NEVER had someone do my gel fill-in manicure this quickly and beautifully back home. I am so disappointed that I will not be able to come back to this salon to get my nails done because they literally look PERFECT. I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I never say perfect. Not one complaint. This place is well worth the money. $35 for perfection!

This is the worst salon Ive ever been to. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and poorly skilled. Ive had bad experiences with eyebrow waxes, gel manicure, full sets, and pedicures. The only reason I go is because it is convenient for someone who lives downtown, but I will never be back. The salons in Charleston are overpriced because it is a tourist area and they know people will spend the money, but they are truly TERRIBLE. They will mess up your service, half ass fix it, and THEN try to charge you the full price. They often walk away in the middle of your service and end up having 3 different people work on you. It seems as though they discriminate against younger people and their only interest is to cater to older clients. Its sad and I wish they would get a new salon in their place. Stop giving these people your money.

Very clean facility. Nicole is the best nail tech in my opinion- highly recommended! The spa is spacious for parties and very relaxing. Any smoke smell that may be up front is definitely not in the back. Youll always get a fabulous waxing when you go there. The body wrap machine is one of a kind, seaweed wrap is the best!

Went in to this establishment to have a nail repair the tech that was doing my repair left without saying anything to me just spoke in a foreign language to other techs and left, so I was just sitting there no one else said nothing so I get up to leave I ask how much do I owe, so I guess the owner or Mr asks to see my nail someone will finish. Now I still havent been apologized to or anything so the girl the had to finish just filed it the tech next to her that has a client did the drilling and apologetic to his client for having to stop and finish my nail. I guest since I only had a repair I was important. Ill never return here.

I am still so happy I found this place! I asked for gel nails and she took her time and did an amazing job. Not only do i get a great, chemical-free experience, but theyre always so pleasant. I will be coming back regularly!

Hands down. Great initial experience. They are all artists with their gel productsThey are often super busy, but will always honor appointments. I have to agree w/the other girls, the chairs are a treat to sit in, especially after a hard day at work. I felt comfortable here. My new favorite place to come to.

By far the best manicure I have had! My nails usually do not last a week despite of using gel polish. It has been 3 weeks and no chips, no cracking! Need to have them re-done just because of the growing. Amazing! A whole constellation 😊👏

Had an amazing experience! As soon as you walk in you can feel the friendly atmosphere of the staff. My sister and I went for her birthday surprise so that she can get a manicure and she loved it! The prices were reasonable and the staff was so welcoming. My sister enjoyed every second getting pampered and her nails were beautiful! I recommend this place to anyone! Definitely going back soon.

If I had read the reviews before I went into Aqua Day i would had missed out on the most best experience i have received! I was surrounded by the most beautiful and relaxing atmosphere! being able to allow myself to leave the stress and tension behind. I knew I was in good hands. They were very affordable price! They even have complimentary drinks! Very nice. I felt very assure. And the result of my shellac manicure. It was Amazing! I recommend this place highly!

Two stars because my nails look nice, but the gentleman who did them really made me feel worthless by the end of the experience. I have been before and havent had this issue. Its just not worth it for me to come back, I really dont want to risk feeling that way after a manicure again.

This is a great salon - they accommodated a group of 9 of us for a bachelorette party getting various services including 7 pedicures and a few manicures. April offered complimentary neck and shoulder massages which were the icing on the cake for an already great day. We had so much fun celebrating here!

Great customer service and they were all friendly and very professional. My friend was with me and she also talked to her . . ( Nail post separated ). The other thing I LOVE is that they experiment with colors! 5 stars because my nails are absolutely stunning.

I went here to get a dip powder manicure for which I paid a lot of money and the technician put on an incorrect top coat because the top coat started to peel off the nails within 3 hours of application. By the following day all of the top coat was gone - leaving the weird dry rough powder exposed. I’ve gotten dip powder many times elsewhere and have never had this problem. Unfortunately I was from out of town and couldn’t get back in time to get them fixed. Very upset and would like a refund

I booked an appointment for the Stress Relief Package and had an amazing experience! After reading some reviews, I was skeptical but everything was wonderful. I received a one hour massage from a very attentive masseuse; she even brought in an additional heater since the room was a little chilly at first. I then had a lavender spa pedicure and french manicure done by a nail tech who was gentle and very precise - my french manicure is unbelievably good (and it was inexpensive compared to what others charge for the french style)! Since I booked a package, I got a certain percentage off each set of services and the actual cost was less than I expected. Tip: allot extra time when booking a package and call ahead for an appointment.

Came in today for a bridal hair consult with Courtney. Amazing!!!!!! She took great care of my natural hair during the smoothing process and blow out. She was super nice and friendly from the moment I walked in the door. Cant wait for her to do my hair again on my wedding day!!!!!!

Always give me a great pedicure. The girl who did my most recent one paid extreme detail to me which is something I rarely experience in nail salons. So much better than East Bay Nail Salon.

I walked in a was greeted by a nail tech doing her customer nails. I went to the back to pick out my polish and sat down,waited for a while to get service for a pedicure. The nail tech I had was awesome,but the nail tech next to her was unprofessional. I never felt so uncomfortable at a nail salon before. Only two nail techs I would come to if I ever come back her again. The other nail tech just needs some major improvements and classes to become a better tech.

I have been here before for facials and had a great experience. However, I recently purchased a gift card for a massage for my boyfriend and I. I called to make an appointment, the girl said she would have a manager call back, once the manager called back, she offered me a time and I accepted it. We arrived 5 minutes early, they left us waiting for about 20 minutes because one the massage therapists was missing. Next time, we will do more research before selecting a spa!

Overall nice place, however, nails were not polished correctly and looked messy. Nails had so many layers, they could not dry properly.Disappointed for the amount of money it cost.

The woman doing my nails picked up the cuticle trimmer she had used on the person before me. When I complained she took out a packet with seemingly new ones. She apologized and said sometimes they just don’t have time to do the full “bath”... I assume she means the barbicide or autoclave legally required for sanitation. It was almost halfway through when I noticed the pack she pulled out wasnt sealed, meaning it never got ran through EITHER!!! Im never going back but seriously hope the health dept does.

Wish I had liked it more because the people were very nice. That said....I was really disappointed. Based on the menu of services, I thought it was a real day spa, but its really just a typical nail salon where they say they offer more services. I got a 30 minute foot reflexology which was just a foot soak in a pedicure chair with an unremarkable foot rub - my husband does a better job of a foot rub-it would have been fine as part of a pedicure, but was not a stand alone service. Add to that the fact that the place REEKED of smoke from the smoke shop next door (I thought it was maybe just a person who was a heavy smoker until I was sitting), and I walked out wishing I could go back in time and skip it.

Just went there for a mani only. Perfect! The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. And gave me exactly what I asked for! This place was also very clean - thats big factor for me. I will definitely go again! !

Ive been to many nail salons and was excited to go to one on King Street (which is a nice street in Charleston), but was terribly dissatisfied with the service. When we arrived, we waited 10 minutes after our appointment time to be helped. We were just getting manicures.The women literally (I timed it) spent 10 minutes on my hands. She went so fast she made me bleed while trimming my cuticles and it wasnt just a little cut, it HURT! She then put this gel on my hands and put them in a bag. I proceeded to ask what she was using and she couldnt answer me specifically. She only said it was to make my hands soft. I could have painted my nails better than she did too. I had to go home and fix them. To top it off, my sister and I couldnt even converse and have fun together because they had us in different areas.NEVER will I go back to Aqua Day Spa and I dont usually post bad reviews of places, but this was hands down the worst experience at a spa Ive ever had.

Super quick to get in without an appointment. Tony did an amazing job on my manicure so decided to get a parafin wax. The foot and leg massage were delightful. Highly recommend Agua and Tony!

They did fine on my pedicure, but they completely ruined my nails. I asked for coffin shaped nails (which I wasnt told was going to cost $10 extra dollars) showing them a photo and keeping my phone on so they can compare the two. The end result was way too short and crooked nubs! I asked for a LITTLE bit shorter than the picture, but never in my wildest dreams would I imagine such terrible nails. NEVER AGAIN will I go to this place.

Ive been to many shops around the area and Ive never had a nail tech be so rude before. He didnt do my full set the way i wanted (coffin nails) and when I questioned him, he got irritated and said that he does this all day and gave a fake laugh. He rushed the whole process with the pedicure, took a little more time with the full set, only to not do them properly. Some of my nails didnt have the same shape and it was noticeable. Also, a little unsanitary, he rinsed a tool he used off in my USED pedicure water, EW. Price for gel pedi & full set was around $105, would be worth it there was good customer service & a skilled technician. You can save about $10-15, get better results & customer service at many salons in Charleston. They are only in business b/c theyre right on King St. and attract tourists who dont know any better.

Sat down for a pedicure and the guy that was servicing me had to get up and service another lady (for what? I don’t know). The new guy rushed through my entire pedicure! What happened to making the experience RELAXING?! Geesh! Get to the nail polishing and he was VERY sloppy! I asked him to clean up the edges and he ATTEMPTED to use his fingers instead of nail polish remover and the tool. Very unprofessional in my opinion ! Will not return AT ALL

I was getting my nails done and the lady asked me if I had gained weight or just had a baby. I am 17, dont have a baby, and am no where near over weight. Not to mention my nails look pretty bad and my face is breaking out from the facial. Would not recommend if you are going for a relaxing spa day because I am still feeling self conscious.

Went in wanting a simple white gel full set Brian convinced me to try ombré loved it so much I asked to get it on my toes he was hesitant at first bc they usually only do your big toe but it came out great CANT WAIT TO TRY THE OTHER COLORS 😍

Should have read the reviews first :( really smelly like cigarette smoke. Autoclave was empty, and Im pretty sure goes unused. Usually clean places make it a point to demonstrate to the client that theyre hygienic. I heard the lady next to me say she didnt want them to use latex gloves because she was allergic, but they said its ok, they have no powder. Surprisingly unprofessional behavior.

This is by far the worst nail salon I’ve ever been too !! I asked for a ombré nail and it was completely not what I wanted they were clear and blotchy not to mention the lady Broke my acrylic nail and tried to fix it by going over it with powder. They still had the nerve to charge me full price for my nails that they completely messed up!

I was a maid of honor this past weekend and said I needed normal polish because Im a nurse and it had to come off quickly. The manicure itself was awful (they cracked before the wedding that night which Ive never had happen before). They also put a clear gel coat on top which took me over an hour to get off. Worst experience Ive ever had and it cost me $55. I never write reviews but thats how bad it was.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We walked into the salon and it stank of cigarette smoke. The mani-pedis were badly done, and the employees were rude. I wouldnt let my worst enemy go to this salon.

I went to this salon to get my eye brows arched. The lady (an older Asian lady) did not know what she was doing. She had an attitude from the start and was rushing like she had something else to do. After looking at them in the mirror, I asked her if she could please shape them better. She agressively started to cut them again with the scissors until I told her to stop. She stopped but did it with an attitude and mumbled something under her breath. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

This is the most unprofessional salon. I’ve visited several times and always love how my nails look, but do not expect a relaxing experience. The girl who started my pedicure abruptly left when another customer walked in and without saying anything to me, never returned. After 10 minutes I was then switched to an older lady who was very rude.There was a discrepancy with a customer not tipping both employees on a manicure + massage, and they publicly embarrassed the client. So uncomfortable for everyone.

I rarely write reviews but I just had to Bc this was an awful experience. I got the dipping powder here and was charged $50 and was cut in not one but three places on my fingers. The lady doing my nails did not apologize or clean the blood off. It’s only been a few days and two of my nails have cracked. I would not recommend going to this nail salon unless you want to be over charged for an awful experience.

Awful experience here. The guy was rough to the point of almost making my feet bleed for a pedicure. He laughed saying does that hurt? He sprayed alcohol on a clearly open blister. Then I fell on a very slippery wet spot in salon that they did not offer to take off any money from the service that was already terrible.

Worst spa experience ever! I arrived early to my massage as the website says, only to find out she was not even there and was telephoned to come in. I was brought into the back and left alone. After waiting for fifteen minutes I walked into the salon outside the spa area in my robe and asked for a glass of wine. They brought me a glass of wine and turned the lights on and the fountain. I couldnt believe they had left me in the dark, didnt offer wine or water or anything, and then she showed up thirty minutes late. I missed my meeting after so I decided to stay for a manicure. The manicure was so terrible I asked for them to fix it and the other lady said it was so bad she would redo it for me. What should have been a short visit to the spa turned into an all day event.

Such great service and they always do an amazing job. They also guarantee that if anything chips, you can come right back and get it fixed for no charge! My favorite place in Charleston.

I thought this place was going to be a high end spa like place....I was very WRONG! Its over priced and the WORST pedicure Ive ever had. My feet usually feel soft and smooth after a pedi. I had it done less that 4 hours ago and my feet look and feel rough. The polish job was horrible and has already chipped on one toe. Staff was not rude but not friendly either. I will never go backs

I have been coming aqua spa for almost a year now and in the past I have always received great service. However, recently the service has lacked immensely at the nail salon and the customer service is almost borderline rude. I had a pedicure today and I asked the lady if she world scrub the end of my foot a bit more and she said, no your skin is meant to be rough I didnt argue with her but was completely shocked by her blunt reply.

Dont be fooled, just because this shop is on king street does not make it special. I took my friend to get her nails done for her birthday and when we first walked in they were very inviting and made us laugh, but it was the lack of effort and unprofessional behavior that bothered me. The woman who did my pedicure did a great job but was rushed and did not do the entire process of a real pedicure. I had a man and a woman tag-team my nails. The guy thought he was funny but his sarcasm was annoying and rude. The lady rolled her eyes after every customer talked to her and expressed to us how rude and annoying some customers were. Not to mention how terrible and rushed she did me mad my friends nails. She cut us multiple times and the whole process was uncomfortable. This place is too overpriced for the results you will get. Make sure to ask for prices when you walk in, they are not posted anywhere in the sho, and I think they made up a price.

If I could have done zero stars or just a hint of a star I would....The worst salon experience I have EVER had! I needed a power dipped manicure to be removed... I had to explain to them how to remove them. The lady that was assisting me left and went to go work on someone else and never said a word (or came back to me for that matter - and there were 2 or three other folks that werent working on someone that could have started on the person that the lady helping me ended up going to).... My husband who was getting a manicure was almost done before someone came to look at my nails.... And they didnt know how to remove the foils to get the old manicure off (its gel like and sticky so you have to somewhat squeeze and pull - not just lift up the cotton)... Then a guy comes out with a dremel! Like a for real dremel with a regular dremel bit on it! Ummm... I was like NOPE... I am good I dont need a manicure and proceeded to take off the foils myself (and I got most of it off).... Then another lady comes and is like are you sure we cant do your manicure... Let me at least buff for you... At that point I was just done... Since my husband was still finishing up I allowed her to buff (so it didnt look as horrible) but... As soon as he was finished we got out of there.... He wanted me to be pampered that day and felt so bad... But he had no clue and no one to reference for a good nail salon downtown. I dont recommend this nail salon.

First of all, they staff was overall less than friendly. My nail tech was attempting to do three girls at once. This left me with bleeding cuticles, sloppy, smeared polish, and she just forgot about me when I was finished. Another woman came over to finish my nails after I was just stranded. Absolutely no attention paid, coupled with being way overpriced. I will definitely never go back.

I have given this place second chance after second chance and each time I go I have a terrible experience. Which is really disappointing considering the nail salon is in such a central location downtown. From waxing to pedicures I have not once walked out happy. This past time in particular was especially horrible. I went for a pedicure and the man who was doing it was careless and rushed through the whole thing. He was rough and caused me to bleed in two separate places on my foot. He also had inappropriately long nails and while trying to paint my nails would pinch the small edges of my skin with his nails which was painful. Needless to say I will not be returning.
