I wanted to love this place, I really did. The atmosphere was great, service was great. I left with expectations that my nails would last at least 2 weeks as I am a stay at home mom and careful with my nails. By the second day, my fresh acrylic set was lifting (they are clear). I ignored it and thought, maybe they all do this and I can only see it this time because I got them clear.. well, 1 week in & every single nail was lifting either all the way or half way. Now it is 2 weeks and all are lifted and I have to go somewhere else to get them done. The nail tech did not take his time to clean my nails and cuticles to prevent the lifting process. I realized this after doing some research. I guess you have to ask for proper prepping before acrylic is applied.

I came for a dip. Bella suggested an hombre and chose a great second color for me. They turned out better than I could have expected. They have a great selection of colors too! Im be back for sure!

Posh is the best nail salon in the Charleston area. Hands down! Clean, friendly and outstanding service. Lots of variety to choose from regarding services and nail colors. I had tried many other salons before finding Posh and nowhere else compares. Love them!

My experiences have always been excellent! I go every 2-3 weeks for the dip and a pedicure and if I have company visiting, I bring them too! Beautiful place, wonderful people! I was so happy when they opened since it was hard to find a good, quality salon when we moved here. Now I won’t go anywhere else!

Love this place! I’ve been a customer for over two years now and have tried a time or two at other places bc I was new in town, and no one can compare. Their service is amazing. It’s not like other places where the tech talk to each other in other languages, they actually converse with their customer, which is a nice change.10/10!! Don’t go anywhere else.

I’ve been visiting Posh Nail Lounge faithfully for almost 2 years. The salon is of good taste & is ALWAYS kept clean! The staff has always been friendly, even when I see them out in public. They offer you a beverage once you’re seated at your pedicure chair or nail booth with options such as wine, water, & champagne. They’re very clean (using plastic liners for pedicures and new tools for manicures). Bella is my nail tech and she is GREAT! Not only does she do my nails, she also does my eyebrows & I feel like a new person after each visit!! So glad that they’re here on Daniel Island! If I ever move away from DI, the drive would still be worth it. Quality service—by far the best I’ve ever experienced!

Posh Nail Lounge is my go-to nail salon. The staff is beyond wonderful and make you feel like family. Bella is one of my favorites, her dip work is amazing! They last for 3+ weeks without chipping and she has creative style. She also gives a wonderful massage during pedicures. Everyone is down to earth, and I have had other technicians before and cant complain. I struggled to find a great nail salon when I moved here (just over a year ago), definitely found the place. The atmosphere of the salon itself is so cute too. Thank you Posh!

Went to Posh this weekend and the service was great! Kevin was very friendly and cut jokes and chatted with me. He did a great job on my nails too! I like the vibes with the decor inside as well. This is a great place to get your nails done!

I usually like this place. But I tried to make an appointment for today days ago and no one ever got back to me. Then I go in there today and they treat me like Im a problem because they had other people waiting. I have spent a lot of money at this place. Today they failed me. A year ago I gave them an excellent review as I was very satisfied with their service and continued to go there every 2-3 weeks always satisfied and always treated well.Had stopped going due to Covid and upon my return which was 3 weeks dipping powder was applied which I was not happy with as the process was not done the way it was in the past but I endured. Returned yesterday, this time asked for acrylics instead, the service WAS AWFUL! May I say the lady who did my nails rushed through them, barely put enough coating on them, and speaking to me, oh not at all. I didnt find them sanitizing the area as the last time I went. I did complain and the owner took off some money, as apparently I was mistaken thinking cuticles were included.After my treatment I will not be returning, money is not a problem but CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CLEANLINESS IS!Excellent service beyond what I expected. It had been recommended by one of my staff and I am so glad I went. I get dipping powder and it was immaculately done along with my cuticles which had never been done at 843 Nails. They listen to what you want, their process and products are superior to what I was receiving, I am so glad I found them. As a new resident in Daniel Island it sure is convenient but will say if I didnt live here, I surely would drive here for the quality and service any day.

I believe in and I want to support local businesses. This is an attractive, clean place, however, my 3 stars reflects customer service. I asked the nail technician about the splits in my nails, as I was considering giving my nails a break from polish. After trying to talk me into gel (which can be worse for nails), she recommended buffing my nails. I went for that option. The technician spent 5 mins or less buffing my nails for an additional $8, the buff lasted approximately 24 hours. My pedicure was fine, my manicure was unfortunately a waist of money. I wish them much luck, however, I will not hurry back.

I have tried Posh Nail Lounge three separate times for manicures. All of the ladies seem wonderful BUT I keep getting the same man who has horrible service. This past Wednesday will be the last time I ever visit this place. The unpleasant man kept telling me I was holding my hand wrong, that I was too tense, that my hands were too cold, and rushed my service. He repeatedly would sigh when I would switch hands and then forcefully twist my hands around like I was a child. I am a frequent visitor to nail salons and would like to think that I am not an idiot... I asked for oval shaped nails but ended up with sharp diamond shaped nails. He also filed under my nails and cut my finger tips. The women sitting next to me got a nice hand massage with cuticle oil, I did not. Instead I left with weird looking nails. Also, My gel polish started to chip a day after getting it done. I go to the nail salon for relaxation, which this visit only made me MORE tense. I will not be returning.

I went to this place a few times as I live on Daniel Island. Each experience was quite positive until my most recent visit. I felt very rushed and that the person doing my nails was a very unhappy to be there. I did not feel very well looked after and left not feeling happy either. For the money I spend on powder nails and a pedicure, I expect better service. I am sad to say that I probably wont be back. Its a shame as this salon is in walking distance to where I live.

I am super picky about my nails. They have to be perfect and look like my natural nails. Ive been to 4 or 5 different nail salons the area in the last few years.I have to say Posh is the best, hands down. Everyone there was nice and pleasant to me. Chris did an amazing job on my nails and they are absolutely perfect. He was quick and yet meticulous. They are a little on the pricier side but, if youre looking for perfection, youll find it here!

This is the most professional nail salon and staff that I have seen. Teresa is just wonderful! I do not dread going and spending the time to have my nails done now. It is very elegant and clean. Keep up the good work! This is my place now!!!

Posh is amazing. The staff is so nice and they give GREAT manicures and pedicures. I do the powder dipped manicures and they last for weeks. The place is really lovely too, clean and well appointed. I highly recommend Posh Nail Lounge!

Save your time and find elsewhere. It would be worth it to make the trip off of the island. They do rushed service to try to get as many customers as they can because it’s all about the money not the service. Pricing isn’t consistent so I started asking for receipts. I stopped going here for a year decided to try it again because it’s so convenient for me but I am finally washing my hands with this establishment.

I was in search of a spa-like nail salon with friendly staff who I could form a genuine relationship with. I have absolutely found my new place! They truly think about everything, from giving you the WiFi password (without having to ask) to providing hooks to hang your purse on. Mindy was super chatty, friendly, and fun! I am a new regular.

Leaving review for my girlfriend in her words: Hands down the worst experience at a nail salon Ive ever had. The dip nails are applied thick and messy. I left with the dip powder all over my hands. The polish its self look like my hands had been in a hail storm. There were dents, dings, and scratches all over my nails. I called twice and I spoke with two different people. I was met with rudeness and arguments. I was basically told that they werent going to fix my nails because I didnt like the color. At no point was the color ever brought up. The man I had jerked my hands several times and didnt speak to me hardly at all. When I was soaking my nails I basically had to sit for an extra 20 minutes and rub off my own polish. When I became irritated, and began to rub harder I was told I have no patience. I would not recommend this salon to anyone ever. For the location and price I would expect top of the line service and customer satisfaction.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! In town from Columbia and most impressed with elegance of shop, friendly and accommodating staff and professional product! My nails and toes never looked better! A must to visit and hope they open a salon in Columbia!

I got a dip set done here last month.The nail technician was very friendly and polite.However, one of my nails chipped five days later because they were done so thin. It ripped my actual nail also because they had been filed down too much. My actual nails were filed too low before she had applied the dip. It ruined them (and had taken me a long while to get them a nice length). I haven’t had that happen in other salons I got the dip done at. I went back in the next day and had to wait 40 mins for a one finger touch up. It broke AGAIN two days later. I won’t be returning.

I went for a mani and pedi. Had to ask the lady giving me the pedi to put the oil in the water even though it was listed as a part of the even the basic pedi. When the young lady finished my mani she just got up and left me at the table without a word. It was my first time there. Not a great first impression. More pricey than other salons in the area too.

This place deserves 10 stars, not 5. Hate to give too good of a review because that will mean it will be mobbed and Ill have to wait in an even longer line, but the truth is the truth. This is the best nail salon in the Charleston area. Ive been to quite a few nail salons and from the customer service, skill, professionalism, and cleanliness!!, this place tops them all. Run, dont walk to get your mani and pedis here (but please, dont go the same time I do 😉)!
