Under new management this nail spa is the best I’ve been to in a long time. I’ve read some of the below reviews and they do not reflect my experience at all. The new management were extremely polite, friendly and professional. Not to mention, it’s the best French manicure I’ve had in a very long time. Gina, John and staff have made my first two visits extremely pleasant. I’ve found my new nail place!

Every time I leave this spa I feel fantastic. It’s clean, bright and peaceful. The staff is always kind and accommodating.I am very particular about how I like my SNS dipped nails. This salon (4 different technicians) has delivered a PERFECT manicure 4/4 visits.To be quite honest, I’m blown away by the quality of my most recent manicure — the shape is perfect, they’re even and smooth, AND they look natural at my cuticle. (THANKS CANDI!!!)

I would give zero stars if I could. Honestly dissatisfied with this nail place. The two of us walked in on Monday around 3. Out of the four employees there only one who did nails, which is ridiculous if you ask me. We felt rushed, no time or effort was taken as you could tell from the photos. So don’t go here if you want it done right.

I got a Pedicure and a full set of new acrylics. Pedicure was fine but I cannot say the same for my acrylics. I asked for a new set in a French tip ombré and even showed the photo of what I wanted. The nails I received are misshapen, and had an extremely harsh line and not new whatsoever.I am standing up in a wedding tomorrow with no time whatsoever to fix my nails.I should have had her take off the full set and gone somewhere else. She was apologetic and attempted to blend the white and pink, but my nails are still not shaped well and very uneven. The worst set of acrylics I’ve ever gotten. Not sure how it cost me $190 for 2 basic pedicures, a full set and a no chip.

This place is AWFUL. Super unprofessional and hostile environment. The manager publicly fired the girl doing my nails while she was doing them! Can you imagine? Not only was it a poor pedicure, but it was super awkward and stressful experience, and they still charged me full price. AVOID.

I go to Diamond Nails in both Goose Creek and Nexton - both locations are wonderful. Since I was in WAshley I decided to get a quick pedicure at this location. Huge mistake. There are nail clippings all over the floor. I had one floating in my foot basin and the tech seemed annoyed I wasn’t going to put my foot in there. The two booths my husband and I occupied were full of lotion, what looked like snot smeared on mine and sugar scrub on every other surface. I had some kind of reaction to the copious amounts of fake junk the put on your legs and even though I had visible welts and was itching uncontrollably nothing was done. And cherry on top? The nail polish I chose was solid as cement, I asked to choose a different color - not only does their selection leave everything to be desired but just about every bottle either can’t open or it’s solid inside. I am so incredibly disappointed.

Candy, Tracy and Lauren do an amazing job! The deluxe pedicure is as good as going to Stella Nova both in time spent doing pedicure and quality of work! Candy has been doing my nails for a long time and always get compliments on my nails.

I apparently had someone that was never trained to give a pedicure. He/she Tried but now Im at my house with a weird color on my foot and my entire big toe is missing paint 2 hours after the pedicure.

I have had my nails done here several times and am very happy with the results. Steven does a fabulous job and all of the staff is friendly & hard working. The salon is beautiful and clean. They have a wide variety of color options. They do get busy so if possible Id recommend calling ahead so they can quickly accommodate you. Great services, location, feel and quality. This is the best nail salon ever!! Very professional but friendly as well. Very welcoming! My nail tech is Tommy! His work is amazing! And he has become a very good friend! They also have complementary wine, cold water bottles, and snacks! Cant ask for more!! Never had to wait either!

This was my first time being here and I came with a friend who is use to this business. I was not happy with how this young man who rush on my manicure. He seem like he just wanted to rush back to his phone, which he did after leaving my hand ashy and with a cut on my right index finger. Whenever I get my nails done theres always a certain level of hospitality that is shown. He didnt add lotion or oil at the end. I had to sit and oil my own hand, with herbal oil, so the cut wont get infected. I waited till he was finish to call him back to show him his mistakes of cutting my finger and leaving one almond shape nail slightly off. I told him firmly please slow down with your other customers, a cut can lead to a serious infection. Overall cute color and looks great from afar but up close, tad bit off with details. It was an okey doke experience.🤔🧐

Stopped in here on Sunday. My girlfriend and I got a deluxe pedicure and a manicure with a dip. It was amazing! Complimentary mimosas and biscotti while we were having our pedicure. We had a choice of scents for our pedicure. Our nails are beautiful and we had a great time! Ill be back soon!

This just became my new regular nail salon and Tommy just became my forever nail tech! He did a fabulous job on my nails and was very detailed and really wanted to make sure I was happy with my nails before I left! If you want to get exactly what you’re picturing, go see Tommy!!

They never offered me the deluxe pedicure over a basic and rushed through a basic pedicure as if I was an inconvenience for being there. I was given a very fast and quick pedicure that was rushed and not enjoyable.

Tommy made my first appointment with him a great one. He loves his craft and really caters to his client. I will DEFINITELY be back for a pedicure and much more.

Went in to inquire about services. The staff was very helpful and friendly however. It was 40 minutes to closing. She seemed uninterested in doing any services. She priced us out the door. No prices posted and nearly $100 for gel polish pedi and nearly $80 for gel polish pedi and regular polish mani. I dont think so. We left.

I really appreciate the detailed work that I receive when I go to Diamond Nails in West Ashley. My feet feel very refreshed and the pedicure really lasts. I prefer a no-polish manicure, and it’s executed so well, that my nails shine for weeks.

Everything was good until I looked at the finished product. The shapes was in consistent, pink & white tip is mainly pink, bubbles underneath; the nails are crooked, too fat, and uneven. Some are flat and some are not. It has lumps from dipping powder application. I asked the tech to repair it, make the shape consistent, and he became belligerent. The manager came and tech decided to grab and snatch my finger to cutoff the nail. Then another man came and stood behind. I had to tell the nail tech and the manager that he had no right to forcefully grab a woman. This tech was a wicked and evil person with bad intentions. I have seen Asian people on Facebook jumping on Black women and now I have first hand experience.My request was a simple fix, but the nail tech thought he did an excellent job and was offended when I asked him to repair it. I was calm and cool but forceful about him not touching me, The tech was too aggressive and a bully. I never raised my voice or got loud with him. I never stood up when he stood over me and grabbed my hand. The stance and his approach alone was aggressive and uncalled for. It was not worth the money and not did they stand behind their product or service.I am not one for fake nails, hair, or etc and after visiting the shop today I will never go to an Asian store for anything. These nail shops and beauty stores have no respect for Black women and the so-called men who work in these businesses think that they can assault black women without cause. That guy should be ashamed of his wickedness and the owner should not allow domestic violence to occur regardless of nail techs emotions or a clients complaint. However, this tech is narcissistic, a control freak, a bully, and aggressive. Me and these fat, bubbly, multi shaped, and uneven nails will never patronize another Asian owned nail salon or business.The salon was clean, but the nail tech was filthy,

I had an appointment for my mother and I to celebrate my 30th birthday (2 pedicures and 2 SNS) — We were asked to pick out a color and we sat for 4o minutes waiting to be called back. Finally I was told to take a seat and that my mom could sit next to me — we assumed this meant our services would be getting started. My SNS was begun and about half way through they still had not started on my Mom — by then my mother had been waiting over an hour for ANY service to be done. By this point we were so fed up and felt so disregarded that we decided not to continue with any of our other services for the appointment. I am most disappointed with this because I have been a consistent and loyal customer getting regular SNS done at this salon for over a year so to be treated with such little regard was just so disheartening. We did not just come in for walkins (which shouldn’t mean being treated with disrespect either!) — I had these appointments set for weeks!When we tried to speak with anyone about how disappointed we were, the manager wouldn’t even speak to us or look my mother in the eye. Not 1 apology was given and the overall attitude was that they didn’t care/it wasn’t their problem — Will absolutely not be returning.The only positive thing I will mention that during this time I was glad to see that temperatures of guests were being taken, plexiglass shields were between nail technicians and guests, and the guests were all separated to comply with social distancing.

I had an older gentleman work on my nails, all I got was a gel polish change. He did not remove my last gel color correctly or all the way, and while he was painting them he was literally missing whole sides of my nails. The clear coat is not on my whole nail and its so noticable, not to mention I have nail polish all over my skin and cuticles. Needless to say Im very disappointed. I wont be back.

Diamond Nail is the best nail salon in Charleston! My daughter and I go together every other week. Everyone in the salon is friendly, helpful and always smiling...regardless of how busy or packed they are. My favorite technician is My, and my daughter always requests Tee. My is beyond professional and takes great pride in her work. She is extremely detailed and talented--truly an artist with nails! My and Tee are our favorites. Getting our nails done by such kind, detailed professionals is truly a pleasure. I highly recommend the Salon and if you want the best, request My or Tee!

I came in for a pedicure and a gel manicure. I made an appointment the morning before and when I came in 15 minutes early they still took me immediately. They had a huge color selection and the lady did a wonderful job on both my pedicure and my manicure. She was so friendly and conversational and it was just such a great experience! I used to go to a different nail salon until they messed my nails up and decided to go here. Their prices are very good and they always have some kind of special going on. I have been going to Diamond since i moved here 2 years ago and wont go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and casual but do a great job. The salon is welcoming but always clean. Yes there will be times when you will have to wait, remember the majority of business is walk in and planning for that is very difficult. If you want to make it easier make an appointment; or just have some patience if you arent started as soon as you walk in the door.

Had a very hard time communicating with the staff. Told two people i didnt want acrylics, looked away for three seconds, and she starts gluing tips on. After asking her no less than 3 times for round nails i gave up and went home to fix it myself. Both my girlfriend and I ended up basically having to argue with the techs over the quality of our service. Not comfortable, not worth the high prices, and would not return.

My nails look absolutely awful! I’ve never felt so ripped off by a nail salon before. My nails were supposed to be pink and white. None of the white tips are straight and the pink looks like it has tiny air bubbles underneath it. Likewise, not a single nail is smooth. This was supposed to be a birthday treat that’s turned into a upsetting nightmare.

I love this place! Always great people. Always outstanding service. I got my first deluxe pedicure here today, and that will be what I get every time! I couldve fallen asleep from the relaxation! An older gentleman did my pedicure and he was awesome. I need him every time!♡

Absolutely the worst pedicure Ive ever received! The polish was left all over my skin and the man who did the pedicure disappeared for over 30 minutes with no explanation, leaving me stranded with wet nails and no flip flops. I wish I could upload a picture to show the truly horrible quality of their work! Do not go here- its already on the more expensive side for nails, and their service does NOT justify the price- save your money!

I came in 45 minutes before they closed which I realize is a little inconsiderate on my part but I had no other time I could get my nails done. The staff was nice but they were rushing to get me out of there. I paid $94 BEFORE tip and my nails honestly look horrible. My best friend is getting married in the Bahamas so I wanted to treat myself as I never get my nails done...I cant help but feel like I just blew over $100 on a crappy nail job. Very disappointed.I wish I could include pictures.

I get gel manicures about every 2 weeks and I love how well they last and how good they look.

I have been coming to this nail shop about 2 years now, and the past couple of months the customer service has been DEPLORABLE. I was told by one of the nail techs this morning that amongst themselves, they have discussed not wanting to serve AFRICAN AMERICANS CITIZENS because they ASSUME that African Americans wont tip! Crazy right?! I was the FIRST customer to enter the shop this morning and I was passed along through 3 different nail techs, all to only get a polish change(toes) and gel polish (hands). In case you were wondering, It took 1.5 hours to get this done 😒 PSA: To all workers that earn a living based on tips; this is the job/career that YOU chose, and you should not DISCRIMINATE against anyone because you think they will not tip. With this being said, we need a BLACK OWNED NAIL SALON IN THE DOWNTOWN OR WEST ASHLEY area. This monopoly has to end.
