Completely remodeled and under new management. The shop is very clean and the nail techs do a good job. I have natural nails and get basic mani pedis, but I did treat myself to a longer pedi with hot stones.

I needed to get some gel polish removed and then just a basic manicure, but I had a short amount of time to get it done. They were fast and my nails look great! Thank you!

I just had a pedicure and asked for the standard treatment but was offered an additional treatment for callas and I appreciated it. The gentle nature in caring for my tender feet was greatly appreciated and noted!

Went to this place today Sunday June 6th and was serviced by 3 gentlemen who gave me the WORST experience I have ever had. First off they promised they could do something that in the end they could not. I don’t know what or why but I felt so much pain during the services from the filing it almost brought me to tears. My nails remained sore throughout the rest of the service. It does not even look like I got a damn pedicure.

Same as all the other nail salons in the Chapel Hill and Durham were no helping the elderly clients

Was in town on business and needed a manicure- horrible choice. The man Sonny who performed my service was extremely slow (had to finally ask the woman that was there to step in and assist) and the gel polish was sloppy and went over the nail and was all over my skin which then I had to spend the evening trying to file back. My gel manicure usually lasts 3 weeks/until I can make it in to have them done. I am at less than a week and all the polish is lifting from the cuticle. If I lived in town I would go back and demand a refund.

Had a French tip. Left on a trip the next day, and already white tip had come off.Very disappointed.

WORST nail salon I’ve ever been to with HORRIBLE customer service.I got a lavender gel manicure and within hours the polish warped and turned a greenish grey except for the ends of the nails. I called and asked if I could come in the next Saturday (the first day I was available!) to get them fixed. When I got there, I still had to wait 20 minutes (even with an apt) and then they wanted to charge me for a whole new set. They said the polish discoloration was my fault and refused to fix.Will never be returning.

NC NAILSis under new management and they are a welcome change. Tuy is the new manager and is very experienced. She has done perfect nails for me since she opened in June. The shop is updated and attractive. Try this out. Ask for Tuy.

The guy who opened the store did my nails, he worked extremelyyyyy slow. He took 2 hours to do a acrylic set. It’s never took that long for anyone to do my nails. He was also very rude & not friendly.

Very stylish and covid READY. They should offer refreshments a soda etc. My pedi was done to my liking so will return.

This was my first time here and it started off rocky but got better. The lady who did my nails wasn’t very friendly at first but then she warmed up to me. She did a good job on my nails and she took her time and made sure I liked it before she continued. The overall experience was good. The negatives if I had any was the way she took off the SNS nails. She pulled them off instead of soaking them off. I didn’t like that very much but after that it went better.

Sure the place looks a little dated but I am going to get my nails done, not have a party. Yes, the gentleman was quiet but I had my eyes shut most of the time. My nails and toes looked fabulous.

Staff was/is very prompt and accommodating. I was very pleased with my pedicure last two visits!

My neighbors and I enjoy NC Nails for our pedicures. One visit the state inspector came in and we got to watch the whole inspection. She was very pleased and complimented them on their concern for cleanliness and sanitation. Love our pedis!

With all the bad reviews I had read I was kinda nervous to come here, but a friend of mine said she had been there a few years ago and convinced me to come. It was actually pretty great. The only constive criticism I can give is that it felt a little rushed. Other than that it was pretty good.

Went in as a birthday present. I let the girl know that I dont like having my cuticles done. She was horrible with the request. I had to continually pull my hand back. It actually hurt. Ive had the gel on for one week and it looks horrible and it coming off already. Even when I left the salon I could tell it wasnt done right. I will never go back. Paid way too much for poor quality and bad service.

Wow....if I could write this review without putting not one star, I would. If you dont have a strong mind and just fall into depression quick DONT GO THERE. I was in a good mood and went into this place and not one smile on any of the employees faces. I ask about some of the services there and the man there wasnt very pleased to answer. I went to get a manicure and gel polish. But when I sat down and tried to conversate with the person that was doing my nails he actually had a mean face and let me know he didnt want to conversate. So I just got the manicure, only because he had already started my nails. Poor service all the way around.

They are good, and the owners are capable and great, sometimes you have to go with the flow but the prices are competitive and the result majority of the time is super good.If you had bad luck try again, it will get better

Horrible. My 2 year old couldve painted my nails better and I wouldnt have been charged! The nail polish was so uneven, all over my skin, and my cuticles were filed and cut so bad that my fingers are sore!!!!! I called back to rectify the situation and the manager hung up on me 3 times and then told me she was too busy to deal with my situation! Worst customer service ever!STAY AWAY!!!
